My witchy hot takes (deity work edition)
There's no age or experience barriers to worshipping deities (not working with them). Young children have been worshipping the Gods for millennia in several different cultures. It's safe for anyone to worship the Gods, at any age, at any experience level.
Worshipping or working with multiple deities doesn't make you a clout chaser or a fake witch. I think as long as you have the time and resources to maintain multiple divine relationships, it's ok to do so. If your practice looks like worshipping many deities, that's valid! It's YOUR practice, and as long as you're being respectful to those deities, and you aren't hurting anyone (including yourself), then go for it! Ancient societies, that many of our Pagan religions are based off of, have worshipped dozens of gods at a time. You're doing just fine, I promise.
You don't need to wait for a sign or wait for a deity to reach out to you first Deities don't give signs nearly as much as Witchtok would lead you to believe. It's perfectly fine, and much more common, to reach out to a God or Goddess first and ask to work with or worship them. You don't need to wait and hope they notice you. It's alright to take the initiative and be the first to reach out.
We shouldn't put an expectation that deities always communicate through psychic senses (clairvoyance) Witchtok and Witchblr make it seem like everyone is physically hearing or seeing their deities, or are interacting with them all the time in the astral plane. In reality, this is an experience some people have, but it isn't the "norm". Most people don't have clair senses. Most people have a hard time doing astral projection, or don't have astral projection in their craft. Most people need divination tools to communicate with the Divine. And that is perfectly ok.
Everyones relationship with the Divine is different Some people have a more relaxed relationship with the Gods than others do. Some people may have a parental-ish connection with their gods, some might have a strict mentor/student relationship, others might be very relaxed and comfortable with their relationships. Heck, some people might not believe in the Gods existence at all. Whatever the relationship is, it's valid. As long as you aren't disrespecting the Gods themselves (no, not believing in deities isn't disrespect), I think your relationship with them is amazing.

105 Question Witchcraft ask!
I started this back in 2023, when this was first posted. I never got around to finishing it until today. This is a super long post, so feel free to skip it!
Answers under the cut!
---
1. Are you solitary or in a coven?
I am solitary, but I wish I were in a coven.
2. Do you consider yourself Wiccan, Pagan, witch, or other?
I consider myself a Pagan and a witch.
3. What is your zodiac sign?
I am a Pisces!
4. Do you have a Patron God/dess?
No, but I devote to multiple deities!
5. Do you work with a Pantheon?
I work with multiple Gods and Goddesses from Greek pantheon, but I also work with the Norse god Loki
6. Do you use tarot, palmistry, or
any other kind of divination?
Tarot and pendulum mainly, but I want to learn palmistry and tasseography. I’m also hoping to build up a osteomancy or charm casting set.
7. What are some of your favorite herbs to use in your practice? (if any)
Cinnamon, bay leaves, salts, saffron
8. How would you define your craft?
Eclectic? I’m not sure.
9. Do you curse? If not, do you accept others who do?
I don’t curse, I don’t have anyone in my life I feel the need to curse. I do 100% support those who do curse though!
10. How long have you been practicing?
Since the pandemic in 2020. So, four years.
11. Do you currently or have you ever had any familiars?
No to both
12. Do you believe in Karma or
Reincarnation?
I’m not sure what my belief is on these. I think energy can’t be destroyed or created, so I think the energy from your life lives on after you die, but I don’t know if I would necessarily call it reincarnation. I also don’t know if that energy contains your consciousness, so I’m not sure if you’d even be aware after you die.
13. Do you have a magical name?
No. I’m lame.
14. Are you “out of the broom closet”?
Yes! Both of my parents know I’m a witch and they support me.
15. What was the last spell you performed?
A self love spell!
16. Would you consider yourself knowledgeable?
Yes! I’ve been researching for years and have accumulated a lot of knowledge and I've practiced quite a few spells, know quite a bit on deities, and have quite a bit of experience.I do think we’re always learning though, and no one person knows everything.
17. Do you write your own spells?
Yes, all of them.
18. Do you have a book of shadows?
If so, how is it written and/or set up?
I do! I’m not sure how to describe how it’s written or set up.
19. Do you worship nature?
Yes! Of course!
20. What is your favorite gemstone?
Raw blue quartz, moss agate, or selenite.
21. Do you use feathers, claws, fur, pelt, skeletons/bones, or any other animal body part for magical work?
No I don’t use them in my workings, but I collect them. I want to make an osteomancy set with parts some day.
22. Do you have an altar?
I used to have several, but I moved and now I only have two.
23. What is your preferred element?
Earth.
24. Do you consider yourself an Alchemist?
No.
25. Are you any other type of magical practitioner besides a witch?
I am also a Pagan and a polytheist.
26. What got you interested in witchcraft?
The fact that I felt ostracized from Christianity and wanted to take my spiritual journey into my own hands and find deities I feel care for me, and a community that didn’t hate me or tell me God hated me.
27. Have you ever performed a spell or ritual with the company of anyone who was not a witch?
No.
28. Have you ever used ouija?
No. Not yet, at least
29. Do you consider yourself a psychic?

No, I don’t!
31. What is something you wish someone had told you when you first started?
Anything you’re interested in can be incorporated into your craft.
32. Do you celebrate the Sabbats? If so which one is your favorite?

38. What is your favorite witchy movie?
I don’t like movies :(
39. What is your favorite witchy book, both fiction and non-fiction. Why?
I don’t read many fiction books, but I really liked “The Green Witches Garden” Arin Murphy-Hiscock
40. What is the first spell you ever preformed? Successful or not?
I believe so! My first spell was a protection spell.
41. What’s the craziest witchcraft-related thing that’s happened to you?
That time I used a pendulum board and Apollo told me about this condition where it is caused by not peeing often enough. I took it as him telling me to drink more water.

43. What is your favorite witchy tool?
Candles and incense and pendulums. I use them a lot for offerings and deity work

Yes?
52. What is your biggest witchy pet peeve?
People who don’t think closed practices are real, or, even worse, recognize but don’t respect closed practices
53. Do you like incense? If so what’s your favorite scent?
YES!!!! My favorite is the one Lord Apollon insists on me offering to him, which is lavender scented. I also really like the sugar cookie incense I have.
54. Do you keep a dream journal of any kind?
No, but I’d like to.
55. What has been your biggest witchcraft disaster?
I haven’t had any “disasters” so far
56. What has been your biggest witchcraft success?
I guess my self love charm. It’s kept me hopeful during a difficult time and it was really nice.
57. What in your practice do you do that you may feel silly or embarrassed about?
I guess talking out loud to my deities. I don’t have a door and I live with my parents, so I always whisper and end up giggling because of how stupid I feel.
58. Do you believe that you can be an atheist, Christian, Muslim or some other faith and still be a witch too?
Yes, of course! Witchcraft is a practice, not a religion.
59. Do you ever feel insecure, unsure or even scared of spell work?
No, thankfully.
60. Do you ever hold yourself to a standard in your witchcraft that you feel you may never obtain?

A fancy apothecary cabinet

No, but I would love to.
66. Do you wear pagan jewelry in public?
I have jewelry dedicated to my deities, but nothing with Pagan symbols or anything.
67. Have you ever been discriminated against because of your faith or being a witch?
My ex-girlfriend is a Jehovah's Witness and broke up with me after she found out I was a Pagan.
68. Do you read or subscribe to any pagan magazines?
No? I didn’t know that was a thing!!! That sounds epic.
69. Do you think it’s important to know the history of paganism and witchcraft?
Yes, for sure.
70. What are your favorite things about being a witch?
Being able to use my art to create both symbolic and physical change in my life, and being in a community who (for the most part) supports me and doesn’t discriminate against my identity.
71. What are your least favorite things about being a witch?
I like pretty much everything about my practice and faith. I guess if I had to pick something it’d be people who don’t understand or try to convert witches.
72. Do you listen to any pagan music? If so who is your favorite singer/band?
I don’t know what qualifies as “Pagan Music”, so I guess not.
73. Do you celebrate the Esbbats? If so, how?
I celebrate full and new moons, mostly by making moon water, but sometimes doing rituals depending on the moon phase.
74. Do you ever work skyclad?
NO
75. Do you think witchcraft has improved your life? If so, how?
Yes! I feel loved and free, and like I am able to be myself. I also love being in tune with nature and the Gods.
76. Where do you draw inspiration from for your practice?
Not sure what this question means, but I mainly draw from Hellenic polytheism.
77. Do you believe in ‘fantasy’ creatures? (Unicorns, fairies, elves, gnomes, ghosts, etc)
Some of those, but not all of them. I believe in the fae, but not how they’ve been portrayed in media. I also believe in ghosts, but again, not how they’ve been portrayed on TV and stuff.
78. What’s your favorite sigil/symbol?
I make all my own sigils, so I have many favorites I use. I like the pentacle.
79. Do you use blood magick in your practice? Why or why not?
No. I am a minor, so I won’t offer pee, scat, or blood to deities or the universe. I also don’t put any of those in spells. I don’t think I will, even after I become an adult; it’s just not my thing.
80. Could you ever be in a relationship with someone who doesn’t support your practice?
Apparently not (like I said earlier, my ex-gf dumped me because of it). I think it’s fair to disagree with my practice, but if they’re actively going against me because of my religious beliefs, it probably wouldn’t work out.
81. In what area or subject would you most like your craft to grow?
Shadow work and self improvement
82. What’s your favorite candle scent? Do you use it in your practice?
All my candles are unscented, but I really liked the “Champagne Toast” scent I had in an old candle. I have it as a lotion and body wash now.
83. Do you have a pre-ritual ritual? (I.e. Something you do before rituals to prepare yourself for them). If so what is it?
No, I do not.
84. What real life witch most inspires your practice?
I don’t know many real life witches!
85. What is your favorite method of communicating with deity?
PENDULUM!!!!!
86. How do you like to organize all your witchy items and ingredients?
They’re all either on one of my altars or in my kitchen cabinet.
87. Do you have any witches in your family that you know of?
No.
88. How have you created your path? What is unique about it?
My path is full of things I enjoy, and has a very prevalent focus on deity work, divination, and small/simple spells and rituals. I feel like I work with more Gods and Goddesses than most people do, so I guess that’s unique?
89. Do you feel you have any natural gifts or affinities (premonitions, hearing spirits, etc.) that led you toward the craft? If so what are they?
Nope!
90. Do you believe you can initiate yourself or do you have to be initiated by another witch or coven?
If it’s a closed religion, you need to be initiated by someone in the religion. If it’s an open religion, I think you can initiate yourself, if initiation is what fits your fancy.
91. When you first started out in your path what was the first thing or things you bought?
Itty bitty spell jars from Dollar Tree. And a beefy candle second hand, and some incense.
92. What is the most spiritual or magickal place you’ve been?
My own bedroom with all of my candles lit and soft music playing.
93. What’s one piece of advice you’d give someone who is searching for their matron and patron deities?
Take things slow, get to know your deities, and don’t forget to show respect to them and their time.
94. What techniques do you use to ‘get in the zone’ for meditation?
Breathing and music
95. Did visualization come easily to you or did you have to practice at it?
I can’t really visualize very well, as I can’t see things in my mind. I’m pretty good about thinking out words in my brain though to depict these scenes.
96. Do you prefer day or night? Why?
Night! I feel like it’s so peaceful when everyone is asleep
97. What do you think is the best time and place to do spell work?
Whenever and wherever you're most focused, relaxed, and in tune with the world around you.
98. How did you feel when you cast your first circle? Did you stumble or did it go smoothly?
I’m not Wiccan, so I don’t cast circles. I do cleanse my room and set intentions before starting a spell or opening a communication line.
99. Do you believe witchcraft gets easier with time and practice?
Yes!
100. Do you believe in many gods or one God with many faces?
I believe in many gods that change how they appear based on different cultural contexts. For example, I think that all Zeus is just the Greek rendition of Thor, and vice versa. And that all the Gods of Hellenism can get a makeover and make up the Christian God. I think depending on who's worshipping and their culture, they may pray and worship a different deity, but ultimately they’re all syncratic, just in different contexts, which makes them take a different shape and have different qualities, which makes them somewhat different deities. TLDR; Both.
101. Do you eat meat, eggs and dairy?
I try not to, but it’s hard given our financial situation. It's cheaper to eat non-vegan in America than it is to eat plant based.
102. What is your favorite color and why?
Black! I feel confident in black, and all my clothing is black.
103. What is the one question you get asked most by non-practitioners or non-pagans? How do you usually respond?
I don’t really talk about my paganism with people in real life, so I don’t come across people who aren’t practitioners too often. I had a friend who’s interested in Hellenism, and we talked about that for a while, but I wouldn’t call them a “non-practitioner”.
104. Which of your five senses would you say is your strongest?
Touch!
105. What is a pagan or witchcraft rule that you preach but don’t practice?
I’m not sure! I take all of my own advice, for the most part. I can’t think of anything right now.

Unpopular Opinion Time
The doodle you make or the picrew you use, the poorly executed poetry or basic bare bones prayer will ALWAYS be better than AI generated offerings.
I am sick of having my feed flooded with practitioners, pagans and other polytheists using AI. Specifically deities like Brigid should never be offered AI in my opinion, it’s essentially a slap in the face.
AI generated spells aren’t shit, it’s what a computer assumes will work based off of what it can gather from internet trends and research. MAKE IT YOURSELF, ask a human for help anything but AI.
There is no place for Artificial Intelligence in these spaces.

Love this!! Just one quick note, however.
Spirit Animals and animal spirits are not the same thing. Spirit Animals are an Indigenous belief and a part of a closed practice. Animal spirits are just spirits that belong to animals.

A few other digital offerings for deities:
- find meditations on Youtube and do them
- write poems for them in your notes app or a google doc
- make slideshows for them, about their mythology, or about things they enjoy
- video playlists!!!!! just like playlists of songs, on YouTube and TikTok, you can make playlists of videos. find videos your deities would enjoy, videos about your deities, or videos that remind you of them, and put them in a playlist! watch them when you want a low effort devotional act.
- watch videos and read articles about them or about things that they like!
For broom closet witches: easy digital offerings/altars/general tips
Playlists! I love making them for spirit guides and deities, or just to have witchy vibes!
Moodboards/pintrest boards! You make a digital alter or book of spells/grimoire on apps like pintrest. You can also make boards with photos that remind you of your deities
Video game altars! You can use a game like minecraft or animal crossing to make a digital alter! I love these games specifically because you can leave things as offerings.
Social medias! You can make a tumblr (heh kinda like mine) or any other image based app and post things that remind you of your deities! You could also post witchy tips, spells, and sigil!
Art apps! You can draw your sigils on an app and use them as widgets on your phone!
Digital tarot apps/sites! If you can't own tarot cards you can do divination on tarot apps and websites!

This is a great question! I'm more than happy to answer this for you :)
Ways to communicate with deities without meditation
Method 1: Divination
Try communicating using divination! You can use tarot, runes, a pendulum, or any other type of divination method, set an intention and set up protections so only the deity you want to communicate with can talk to you, and then ask them if they want to work with you.
Method 2: Prayer
Research the prayer methods for the specific pantheon and type of deity you're trying to communicate with (for example, muttering a prayer quietly with hands on the ground for a Greek, cthonic deity) and ask them if they want to work with you. Pay attention to any physical sensations, such as your stomach filling with butterflies, or a gut feeling the answer is one way or the other, etc.
Method 3: Ask for signs
Along with the last one, you can ask for signs from the deity that they accept and want to work with you. Ask for something specific enough that it is noticeable and unique, but not something so specific that it's impossible for it to happen.
Remember, if a deity says NO to working you, it'll be ok! You have to respect that. Just like deities should respect you saying no to working with them, it's the same the other way around.

REVIEW: Backwoods Witchcraft by Jake Richards
I feel like Jake Richards's books are pretty popular with folk witches. If you have any interest in Appalachian folk magic, or even American folk magic more generally, you've probably at least heard of this book. Part of why I put off reviewing it for so long is because I feel like there's already been plenty of attention given to it online, so I'll try to make this brief.
Pros:
Definitely authentic Appalachian folk magic. Jake Richards writes about a lot of things I've seen people do or heard people talk about but never seen written anywhere.
This book is really well researched! I'm very impressed by all the references and footnotes.
I love that Richards uses the correct Tsalagi (Cherokee), Gaelige (Irish), and Gaelic (Scottish) words when talking about the cultures that influence Southern folk magic. I also love that he includes pronunciation guides.
Cons:
I didn't finish this book on my first read. It wasn't until I revisited it recently that I actually read to the end. Something about the writing style and the way the book is organized made it a little hard to follow at times, at least for me.
The research is generally good, but there's definitely more detail given for European and Cherokee cultural influences than for African. When talking about European influences, Richards will usually specify the specific country or culture something comes from, but for African influences he just says "African." While this research is harder to do because the slave trade intentionally cut people off from their cultural traditions, other authors like Luisah Teish and Stephanie Rose Bird have shown that we can often trace these African influences back to a specific culture, or at least a region. I would have liked to see the same level of effort put into researching African practices that went into the European ones.
Other Observations:
Christianity is a big part of the author's practice. This is faithful to traditional Appalachian conjure, but just know that it may be triggering if you've experienced religious trauma in a Christian setting. I found this book harder to read than other books on conjure that incorporate Christian elements, and I'm not sure why. Maybe it's because it sounded too similar to the Appalachian church where my abuse happened? Just something to be aware of if this is a tricky topic for you.
Overall Rating: 4/5 stars
#this will definitely be a 5 star book for other people#i am just picky#will definitely be picking up a physical copy tho#book review#book rec#jake richards#backwoods conjure#appalachian folk magic#appalachian folklore#southern folk magic#american folk magic#folk magic#folk witchcraft#witchy books#appalachia#my writing#mine#witchblr#witch#witchcraft

Thought it would be fun to answer these!
Answered on the 12th of March, 2023
<3 My goal for this week is to start reading my new witchcraft book. (If anyone wants book recommendations, send me an ask and I’ll totally make a post about it!)
<3 I have a neutral stance on love magic. I don’t really have a say in what other people do as each persons situation and craft is different; I personally choose only to do love magic on myself for self love. I would also like to do a passive love spell, such as glamour magic to make me stand out more, or a spell to attract love my way without forcing it to come from someone else.
<3 I recently did a self love spell! It has gone great. I keep it on Lady Aphrodite’s altar and when I see it I try to think of something nice about myself. I love this little spell jar. It has helped a ton.
<3 I would love to try potions! I haven’t done any potions, but I feel like creating a potion by enchanting my morning tea or putting specific herbs in it to match my intent would be wonderful and an easy way to incorporate my craft into my every day life!
<3 (does not apply)
<3 I don’t know much about potions other than you drink them, but they seem a bit less versatile as you have to factor in shelf life, temperatures that you need to keep it in (refrigerated, frozen, room temperature?), food allergies of those who are drinking it, and choosing ingredients that taste good enough together to not be too bad to drink.
<3 I love honoring my deities. Although, that is kind of cheating because it isn’t %100 just for me. I find that honoring them, especially Aphrodite, makes me feel happy, purposeful, and refreshed. My devotional acts to Aphrodite usually involve self care or self love anyways.

Birthday Request Event v2024
"It's my birthday and I'll write what I want to \o/"
Gift Details ♥ Reader Style: cisfem Character: Trafalgar Law Vibe: NSFW Consensual AU: Canon Prompt: Aphrodisiac Gift Giver: @supernaturallyginger
Summary: An accident in the lab turns your little alchemy experiment into a big, pink problem. One that, for once, has nothing to do with flamingos. (this ran a bit longer than I meant, but I didn't want to end it a few sentences after the set up XD )
Content Notes: manual masturbation, hand job, sex, hurried consent, but no dubcon, implied or otherwise.
This birthday party is 18+, consensual unless explicitly stated otherwise, and BYOB
Your experiment had been going great, until it wasn’t. The mixture destabilized unexpectedly and exploded into a fine mist. Fortunately the reaction hadn’t been a impactful explosion, but the fine particles had filled the lab you were working in.
Alarms went off because of the particles, and Law was at the door, yelling through it.
“Oi! Are you alright!?”
“Fine!” You yell back and start coughing. “I’m fine! Don’t - hack - do NOT come in!”
You were going to be fine. You’d been doing alchemy since before you were old enough to walk. Thanks to the constant exposure you were pretty much immune to any kind of chemical. But the dust had coated your goggles and you were having a hard time breathing because it was so thick in the air.
The Tang’s exhaust would clear the room soon enough, but you still made your way over to the door.
“What happened?” Law demanded, frowning at you from hall.
“Aggressive kinetic repulsion between the compounds.” You grin, and cough lightly as the air starts to clear.
“… You mixed things and they exploded.” He deadpans.
“There wasn’t a blast.” You insist, wiping the goggles clean and happy to see the room was clearing up. It took another few minutes before it looked safe and you stood under one of the vents and shook your whole body, sending a cloud of particles up and into the vent.
“Ah, it’s going to take hours to clean the lab.” You sigh. “And no one else can-.” You hear the door open and look over to see Law stepping in. “Wait you!”
“I’ve got my room up.” He says, and you can see the air around him is crystal clear, if not tinted a little purple as the fine mist of pink mixes with the power’s blue shift. It’s a small shell around him, but the thick dust is probably limiting how wide he can push right now.
“Just don’t stay in too long, I’ll get this sorted.”
“You’re really okay?” He questions after a moment’s pause.
You nod. “Yeah, I’m not working with anything I’m not already immune to.” You assure him, before shooing him out. It takes hours to get things cleaned, but you’ve wiped down the surfaces, stood under the little shower in the lab, pitched your clothes and put on a spare set of scrubs. Everything that can be cleaned is clean. The walls still need scrubbed, but hunger compels you to take a break.
You’re surprised to see Law outside the lab, reading a book, when you exit. He looks up as you smile down at him. It was a sweet gesture, and a useful one too. Not only was it nice to have company even if you didn’t realize it, but it certainly kept anyone else from wandering in.
“All done?”
“Almost, need a break and som-AH-CHOO!” The sneeze catches you off-guard and you don’t get your arm over your mouth in time.
You look at Law, horrified to see speckles of pink-tinged saliva on his chest. Law just looks irritated to have been sneezed on, but his expression changes when he sees your face and he looks down at his spattered shirt and chest.
“Shit.” You swear, and Law puts his hand up.
“Room - urk!” The blue tint expands and shatters, his concentration broken as a powerful jolt tenses his muscles and makes his blood rush. He tries to say something, but even just shifting to look up at you causes his clothing to set his skin on fire. Instead of words a needy moan drips from his lips, and he slumps in the chair, panting and clawing his shirt off.
Your brain breaks a little as you try not to panic about accidentally making an explosive aphrodisiac. You ran through the ingredients listed and tried to consider how it would function. The resulting explosion wasn’t your concern, you needed to sort out how to resolve Law’s situation.
“It works so fast, it should metabolize quickly too.” You say after a second. “We need to get you stripped and rinsed off to stop any more absorption, sorry.” Your apology is followed by forcing Law onto his feet and against you.
The captain was taller than you, but you weren’t carrying dead weight across the entire sub, just to the lab’s shower a few feet away. Once you got him under the shower head - and by the seas the way he shivered and moaned with every move was killing you - you let him sit there. You got the water going and started to help him strip.
Law did his best to help, but the water was torture. A necessary one, but he’s grabbing the soap and scrubbing everything he can reach. Every drop of water is a pleasurable jolt through him, every sud and stroke is edging him and the frustration is driving him mad. But the faster he can get cleaned up, the faster the shower will turn off.
Getting him out of his pants while he’s desperately getting himself cleaned off was a battle of your own will. He was hard and erect and leaking. You closed your eyes to stop from staring pulling your view down to his ankles and getting the wet clothes in the bin.
Once he gets rinsed off you turn the water off and step back. Naked, wet, panting - his hair’s stuck to his flushed skin and his cock’s twitching. It’s all your fault, in the strictest sense. At least when you were getting him stripped you realized what had happened. The dust had gotten on the bottom of his boots and neither of you noticed.
So he sat out in the hall for hours that way. The sneeze was just a catalyst at that point.
Law was swearing under his breath. Every time he reached for his swollen cock he’d pull his hand back. The soft moans were turning into strangled desperate whimpers, his legs open as he shifted his hips up into the air.
“I’m sorry, if this isn’t what you need, captain.” You say before getting down on your knees between his legs. You looked at him and saw him nod his head.
Gripping him carefully he nearly cries out. Gently, but with enough pressure, you stroke his shaft. Law comes undone, body shivering almost violently as he scrambles to try and hold onto something in the shower stall, head thrown back and pushing his back off the wall.
It was hard to tell when he finally came, the steady leak of precum coming out just a little thicker and a little faster. It was enough to slick your hands better than the water - and you didn’t dare use your saliva until you had time to brush your teeth.
You watch him carefully. Putting more pressure in your grip you pump his twitching shaft harder. Mumbled thanks fall from his lips, between the desperate gasps, and grunts as he cums again, and again.
Eventually sweat replaces the dampness of the shower, and the humid huffs of air from his lips are deeper and stronger. The flush on his skin is still there, but he’s only trembling when he cums. Something he has more control over, his own tattooed hand gripping his cock, bringing himself to climax when your hand started to cramp.
You felt like you should leave him to it, but he’d requested, if not a little timidly, for you to stay and watch. To watch him. You had no objection, but you did have a small, persistently growing issue. Once the initial panic had subsided, and once you’d realized he would be okay, your body started to react.
He was hot. He was always hot. He’d been stoic and mysterious when you’d first joined the crew, and then reserved and awkward the more you got to know him. He was smart, if not socially awkward, but kind. Supportive.
But the sight and scent of him now was… intoxicating.
You hadn’t felt effected by anything for years. Not like this. It wasn’t the alchemy. It was just him, and his scent, and you wanted so much more, so bad it was painful. It wouldn’t be fair of you to ask right now, or maybe ever, but once he was done you could just go somewhere and-.
“You… want me, right?” He husks, and your body jerks. He grins, hand slowing and readjusting his sitting position. “It’s okay. You have a terrible poker face.” He says, grinning and catching his breath.
Deciding not to over think it, or not being in a position to over think it, you take the scrub pants off and put your hands in his as he helps steady you while you straddle his lap. You help line him up with your dripping lips, sinking down slowly.
Hands on his shoulders you sigh as he stretches you, filling your slicked pussy kindly. It feels even better than you imagine and you exhale a swear as your thighs press against his hips and you swear you can feel his heartbeat from his dick.
“Even better,” he whispers, leaning in to kiss you before you stop him.
“The stuff,” you say rolling your hips. “I haven’t - if I kiss you, you’re going to get dosed again.”
Law frowns and your heart skips a beat. It’s not just the compound, the feeling behind it is mutual. You swear you hear him growl before he grabs the scrub top you’re still wearing and pulls it up. You’re confused for a moment until he prompts you to open your mouth and puts the bunched up fabric between your teeth.
“This way I won’t kiss you on accident.” His hands wander up your sides, wandering over your breasts as he places kisses in the middle of your chest.
The kisses continue while his hands move down to your hips, and he urges you to start riding him. You moan into the shirt, fingers in his hair as he lavishes your chest with attention. He brings his knees up to help brace you while you’re leaned back enough to give him such access.
One hand grabs the meat of your ass, his other shifting enough that his thumb can tease your clit while you ride him. The rush of sensations, coupled with the unintentional teasing from earlier whip you into a frenzy quickly.
“Please, please,” you huff and his grip tightens as he pulls you down onto his hips roughly. You can feel the hot rush and the extra slick from his orgasm to know he came again. You were so close, but he only stills long enough to put you on your back.
A surprised squeak escapes you as he pulls the shirt up enough to cover your face, hands on your legs and he’s buried back inside you, thrusting desperately. Every slap of skin sends a jolt through you as you pant and moan inside the shirt. You’re not muffled this way, and you don’t have to hold back, so you let pleasure spill from your lips as the usually quiet captain rails you.
“Cum for me, please. Fuck you feel so good. I want to feel you cum against my cock. I wanna fuh-fill you up, one more time.” He huffs, voice demanding but barely above a whisper. “A dozen times more. For as long, as you want. Please, cum for me, I’ve waited - wanted - needed - for so long.”
You lower the shirt, wanting to see him, wanting him to see you. “Ah-almost, almost, please, don’t stop, just ah - HNNGH!!” The pleasure slams into you, and your grunted cry of pleasure turns into a gasping, shuddering cry as Law continues to thrust into you, fucking you through the orgasm.
A few more heavy thrusts push into you as satisfied sighs leave you both, Law’s pleasure leaking out of you.
Wet, disheveled, in need of another shower, in need of clean clothes. You smile, basking in the moment, and enjoying the look of love, more than just lust, that’s in your captain’s eyes. Though, maybe captain won’t be the right label. Not after all this.
A worry for another day.
Law leans down and kisses you, and you return the gesture, humming appreciatively for a split second before realization dawns on you both.
