Played around in Paint 3D yesterday.
#paint3d#mspaint#samus#metroid#samus aran#by no means masterful modeling but I wanted to play in the space#it's surprisingly flexible for what it is#she is tired from all of the space bullshit she deserves a break#i noticed she kind of looked like a mii when i tried to incorporate 2d-lines-as-3d-objects around stuff like the chin#so i leaned into it on the nose and such#had to do a bit of color adjustment in another program to get closer to the atmosphere I wanted#the modeling tools aren't super sophisticated but i appreciate the feature where you can draw a 3d object#you can rotate your almost-flattish little model to pull at it from different sides and manipulate the dimensions that way#if i worked with a simpler shape with less moving parts i could probably make something that looks pretty cool#that way I'd have to think about less composition-wise
