Ok so I'm writing this on google docs to explain myself, but y’all need to peep game and lock in on this one, as I’m going to try explaining fully this rareship and try actually giving it a dynamic.

This may get a wee bit OOC, and I apologize for that, I’ve been grinding so hard on regretavator, I forgot to do my daily fnafhs rewatchs.

First off, why did I suddenly start shipping them? Well, I’m not going to lie, their color palettes fit VERY well together, as their colors are technically opposites (I’m dying on this hill, idgaf if Y’all think blue is red’s opposite color, or green is pink’s opposite color, I’m not going to join the color debate war) and so, they compliment each other.

Now, why is color so important?, well, I’m going to hold your hand when I say this, it’s *very* important when it comes to character design, as really, no design choice is unintentional, every single thing is intentional in some sense.

And so, this fact could be used to suppose that in a sense, both Fox and Cami are like polar opposites.

And yeah, story wise, they sorta are, as Fox is an orphan child who although parentless, has always had friends and family around him, and has always known how to defend himself.

All the while Cami, her (I assume) entire childhood, was always more of the loner, weak child, who just had Eak and Town to defend her from bullies.

They both share that, in some way, they’re still deeply affected by their childhood.

Fox being affected by the death of his parents, and the sheer weight of being the oldest and having to carry the pressure of taking care of everyone + himself.

Cami may not show it, but from the scenes itself, I do think she still has some issues stemming from her childhood, though I do think she hides it better.

Like, for example, if you pay extra attention to her design, you can actually see she tries to imitate some characteristics of Joy’s appearance. And what would this even mean? Well, not really anything, in canon is just a coincidence, BUT, if we try over analyzing, this COULD mean in a sense she wants to be exactly/similar to Joy, and we have to keep in mind no one besides Golden and maybe the toys know Joy’s homelife, so for all we know, Joy is known as this social butterfly, sort of popular, sweet and confident girl.

And what’s NOT what Cami is? All the things I mentioned about Joy, so, since they have some design similarities, I’m going to put my hand on fire and say it’s actually Cami trying to be exactly like Joy, yearning for that capability of socializing and being confident.

Now that I have that character analysis done, how could hypothetically Fox and Cami interact? Well, if it was Eddo or Dsaster, knowing them, they would probably start the whole thing over some fuckass gag, since Fox is the class clown of the series.

(Talking about gags, they both parallel each other on some gags, as both ending in awkward situations with Freddy lol).

But if it were for them to interact in a more natural/normal way, I believe 100% it would be over Fex, or shadow fox, however you may call that little shadowy thing Fox has. Now how it would work, I'm not sure nor exact, but it would probably be something like Cami being able to feel or sense Fex, and since she didn't create him, Cami would get curious over Fex, wanting to research more about it, either for her own gain, or to use it against the animatronicos or the toys.

Now here’s where I have more fun and go off imagining, but since the Fox side plots tend to always have this comedic sense to them, even if serious or trying to expands his story, I think the best way this could be pulled, is that Cami in her struggle to study Fex more, gets dragged into interacting with Fox, and so, Fox thinking Cami is genuinely interested in being friends, and just assuming Cami is changing her ways from the time she possessed Golden, begins to talk with her more and drags her into shenanigans, to Cami’s dismay.

At first, Cami HATES Fox’s guts, finding him annoying and trying to avoid him, but as time goes, Cami begins getting fond of Fox, to the point she begins changing from her reserved and closed personality, and beginning to yearn more for that warmth and care Fox radiates with those he cares for.

But Cami knows she can’t tell Fox, she can’t tell him her feelings, as doing so could compromise Fox and her more than they already are, and Owynn would neither be happy nor pleased about it.

Cami would be faced with the idea of either having to rebel against Owynn, or never be able to confess her feelings.

And even IF she manages to get out of Owynn’s grip, she never has been faced with actually confessing to someone, and as Fox would be the only one besides Eak, Town and Freddy, who Cami hasn't tried to manipulate to get them on her side, she would actually be faced with the fear of rejection, as by that point, Cami would probably be very aware of Fox’s crush on Chica, and plus, Cami could possibly, or well, probably by that point, feel guilt from her past actions, and so, maybe feel as though she’s not deserving of love, as she’s manipulated many people against their will.

Fox, on the other side, would simply be confused, as he would have to carry all his issues + his conflicted feelings about Cami. He would also have feelings for the latter, but his feelings for Chica would be in the way.

Fox would have so much pressure on his life that he hits a low point.

And Cami joins him.

They would be so lost in their heads, once they get out of it, they go to each other for support, trying to make sense of it, and just enjoying each other's quiet company and support, helping each other via communication or simply listening to the other one vent everything out.

They would be so vulnerable, that by then, they both confessed their feelings, and once that happens, they would awkwardly and secretly start dating, Fox trying to respect Cami’s slow pace, while Cami trying to adapt herself and be the one to initiate everything.

Both doing things very naively and being stubborn, trying to get out of each other’s comfort zone, while still trying to not make it that obvious they’re dating.

At first some misunderstandings happen due to bad communication, but with time, they actually become a very healthy couple and work together.

I know I complain a lot about fandom purity culture, but that’s because I think it’s a big issue and one that has affected me personally (no, not in any dramatic ways, but in small ways for sure).

For a personal example, when I started peeking around in the Beetlejuice musical fandom a few years ago, there were maaaany posts about how you are Very Bad if you ship Beetlejuice and Lydia, even if you only ship it when she’s an adult. I had been previously a little curious about the aged up movie version of that ship, but because the sentiment was so intense at that time I was like, “Okay, well … I guess it’s bad and won’t look into it further.”

But at a certain point I got fed up of seeing anti posts about a ship that is, quite honestly, a pretty pedestrian villain ship, and kinda felt like shipping it out of spite. And these days I’m now genuinely interested in the dynamic (again, when she is an adult). Now that I’m apparently reaching the IDGAF of my fandom life, I’ll probably reblog some art of it 🤷‍♀️

But yeah! Fandom purity culture makes you stifle harmless interests! There have been other times where I tried to align myself with more fandom purity culture arguments despite not 100% believing them in my gut. I grew up M/ormon, which has a traditional intense purity culture within it, so that’s prob why I fell into the fandom side of it for a little bit.

There are still things I think are gross and wish people wouldn’t write (like underage smut), but ultimately I’m pretty anti-censorship, especially considering how IRL purity culture against fiction manifests in insidious ways like the conservative culture war against libraries

I feel like I kinda rambled a lot, but … TLDR; fandom purity culture sucks and really isn’t good for the individual enjoyment of fandom and can make you pretend to believe things that you really don’t because you want to fit in and not be labeled as an IRL Bad Thing.

My Ships!

Hey guys! So currently it's late at night and I wanna write something to help me sleep. So here I am on my phone quickly writing out all my ships down so you guys can see what a loser I am lol.

Now feel free to discuss your opinions, but dont start any ship wars or bash anyone's ships, alright? Cool! So here we go! Each ship will have a short explanation as to why I ship it. And they are in order from favorite to least, though my least favorite is still one I like.

Ishimondo-This is my biggest comfort ship. I love enemies to lovers so much and these two idiots are just...such a beautiful tragedy.

Saimota-Can someone say bromance? Like please they were flirting so hard it hurts. They are dating your honor.

Saimatsu-Please the way she was able to motivate him? Even after death she helped him improve. They had such chemistry from the very beginning.

SakurAoi-Yeah yeah Sakura has a bf whatever. But they technically werent dating yet cause they were waiting til Kenshiro got well. So...LES GO LESBIANS! Hina was about to commit murder suicide for her boo. Literally lovers.

HaruKaito-So even besides the fact Maki straight up confesses, I disagree with people saying they dont have chemistry. They're adorable and Kaito opens her up to people. This ship is adorable af.

Tokomaru-Similair to Kaito and Maki! Komaru helped Toko be a better person! Like I hated Toko at first, but after UDG, shes a top tier favorite. This ship is too cute.

Soudam-Again I love enemies to lovers. Idgaf if they never show romantic interest in each other shut up. They're beautiful bastards, both of them.

Fuyupeko-...do...do I really need to explain? Just play the second chapter again lol.

Hinanami-Im not a big fan of Hajime. In fact hes my least fave protag. But I think the way they interact and the way he is around Chiaki is too fucking cute.

Sondam-They had the more obvious chemistry in the game, and I love Sonia with Gundham. They fit each perfectly, having similar interests. Plus how sad she was when he died? 😭

Kiiruma-Ok so they're a perfect fit right? Kiibo was one of the only ones to even care when Miu died, and Miu seemed to care about Kiibo. Yeah because she could upgrade him, but I feel theres more there!

Naihiro-Now this is a rare pair. I think the two of them are very cute and soft boys, so they relate to each other. Theyd be a very sweet couple.

Akanidai-Nekomaru literally died to protect Akane, and took two bazookas to the chest for her. They were inseparable. Case closed. They cute.

Daiyakure-Another rarepair. It's hard to ship Hiro with people cause you'll get hit with the "hes 21 and they're underage" argument. But with Daiya Oowada, you can say hey, fuck you! Theres literally no interactions between them. It's almost a crack ship. But I love it more than I should.

Naekure-Another Hiro ship, but this one can be justified by saying they start dating after they escape the game and they know they're both adults. I think Makoto would be a decent balance to Hiro's...everything.

Togakure-Same logic as with Makoto as to when they get together. Byakuya would be able to deal with his idiot enough to calm him down slightly. Plus it would be a funny contrast.

Ishikure-Ok now this is a bit harder to explain. I see it more as they were dating before the mind wipe, and in survivor aus theyd date again. I just think Hiro being the only one to care about him after ch 2 is sweet and that the two would be cute.

Hagekureon-Same reasoning as with Taka;Hiro and Leon were dating before the game and/or they date in survivor aus. I think the two idiots together would be an interesting combo, like with Ishimondo.

Naegami-Finally, back to well known ships!😅 So Byakuya clearly cares for Makoto even if he tries to hide it. He'd be a good partner to Makoto, if not a bit tsundereish.

Kuzusouda-Fuyuhiko was like the only one to try to curb Kazuichi's simping, and they have a nice friendship in the anime(from what I've seen and heard, havent seen all of it😅)so I think Fuyu would be able to help Kaz accept himself.

Asakure-Once again, getting together after game. My friend put it as "the two idiots getting together. Its cute." And hes not wrong lol Despite Hina being slightly smarter and the fact she bullied Hiro a bit in game, I can see them working off each other nicely.

Goshi-Firstly I just love the striking difference in their heights. It's funny as hell to me lmao. But secondly I think Gonta's sincereness and kindness could eventually break through to Ryoma and help him realize he isnt unlovable, and he is worth something.

Twobuki-I just think Ibuki's constant praise and lowkey flirting with Twogami is adorable, especially given his...size. Usually people would make a character like that completely unlovable, so the fact she was seen doting on him so much is adorable.

BandAid-Now I normally dont ship killers and victims. It just doesnt feel right to me. But given Mikan was more or less brainwashed into doing it, i kinda give this ship a pass. Plus i think Ibuki could help her be more confident in herself and stop letting others use her.

Soapies-I dont really like either of these characters, thus why its last on the list, but I think Mahiru is the only one who could "tame" Hiyoko, for lack of a better word. She could help her stop being a bully and actually open up to others. Plus they both care a lot about each other. It's cute. Its sweet.

So that's my list! It might grow, and if it does I'll reblog this post to add onto it! Feel free to give your opinions on it, but remember: no ship wars!

Ok, first of all: *dies laughing* OMG you crack me up, girl. Second of all, I WILL FLAIL WITH YOU!! Full disclosure, I only watched for the Goran, but I did end up enjoying it overall.  Nicholae IS money, and I actually would have rather seen more about him and his family history (how sad was he when he was talking about what his father overcame as a young man in WW2?! *ugly sobbing*) because I found his whole character so incredibly intriguing.  The way he would just know when Marta was sniffing to close to things she had no business poking around in, how his face could go from polite interest to stone cold deadly in like 0.2 seconds,  SWEATY KICKBOXING SESSIONS?!  *swoon*  That man can wear the hell out of a suit.  And I was always giggling over his teeny tiny coffees lol.  Standard Schiller pose: stare broodily out a window, sip tiny coffee. 

I just loved his whole vibe.  He built his empire and he doesn’t give a damn what you think of him, or old bloodlines, or any of that shit.  But yet you see this soft side of him around his father (ugh all their scenes.  So many feels!). I was so glad he capped that Duchenko woman.  I couldn’t stand her.  I did spend most of the show wishing for more Schiller scenes over Walraven family drama, but I wasn’t watching for them, tbh.

Heh. Anyway, yes.  I can’t wait till you watch Crossing Lines! (just do season 3, you won’t miss out on anything)  I adore his character Marco in that one too.  You’ll begin to see a lot of elements of those two characters in Garcia Flynn, which is fun.

FLAIL WITH ME OVER RED WIDOW!!!

Hahaha. Well, as someone who also watched it for the Goran, I can say I personally did get a little more lost in the overall plot. It’s good if you can get over the resentment of not enough Schiller screentime. lol. They really balanced their characters well. Obviously Schiller is my favorite, but... I ended up liking the whole show. I was pleasantly surprised. It was SO much more than I was expecting.

I did want more with Schiller and his backstory, but I do also like the small glimpses we got, just enough to fill in a lot of blanks for ourselves. I think (from listening to interviews with Goran about the show) they were going to expand on him more in season two. Which does make sense. You can’t humanize your villain too much. But by the end of season one, he wasn’t the villain anymore, so I can see where it would have fit in perfectly for season two. RIP Red Widow. Gone too soon.

ALSO GOOD GOD! That scene where he talks to Marta about his father! Like the first mention of his father, you get the feeling Schiller hates him, but wow. Nope. He really loves the man. (And the sadness in his face later when he says, “I’ll take care of it, Papa. You just rest.” My heart!) God, that whole scene. And the necklace! Actually you know what? Here is a screenshot of me liveblogging that episode at my sister. Haahahahahaha.

I actually did like Alexandra. She was... interesting. Haha. Very evil. Such a trip, that woman. I like strong, horribly unlikable, blunt, idgaf female characters though. Love ‘em.

That Schiller/Marta though. You gotta ship those crazy kids. If for no other reason than the rest of the competition on both sides died. LOL! Four dead in twilight-deviant’s pursuit of ship.

I will try to watch Crossing Lines beginning to end. Although you guys are making me question those first two seasons. Eh, I’m sure I’ve watched worse. Haha.
