tell me more about your thoughts on ulysses and arcade!!! i think their dynamic has so much potential and I rarely see them interact, it's a shame haha

And OUGH Ulysses & Arcade my beloveds… I think I got there thinkin about Ulysses interacting with the rest of the companions, and Arcade in particular I feel would get Ulysses to a pretty significant level, ya know? Arcade is so intelligent that I feel he could level with Ulysses’ own intelligence very directly, and just from a Nerd-To-Nerd viewpoint, those two could probably infodump with each other for hours and just KNOW what the other is talking about.

Ulysses is also a very traumatized character, and in-fandom I know people have some… divisive opinions about how he reacts to it, but the kind of trauma that’s most apparent in Ulysses’ character is one of the reasons I liked exploring the Legionnaires when I was still super into FNV, as the victims of the colonialist, fascist organization the Legion was. Arcade has such deep empathy for people, and he’s not like, a doormat, he’s very “Do no harm, take no shit,” but I’ve always been of the belief that Arcade will always stand up for someone wanting to be better, someone wanting to learn to do good no matter what their past is, particularly considering his own past with the Enclave. I like the idea, if Ulysses ever manages to pry himself from the Divide, that he finds the Followers and assists them from time to time, and that’s potentially how he and Arcade meet. Ulysses finds he doesn’t have to mince words with Arcade, doesn’t have to butcher his symbolism or sugarcoat his experiences for Arcade’s sake. Arcade just understands, in a way Ulysses isn’t sure anyone else has been able to, not even the Courier. And I feel like in turn Arcade feels more comfortable talking to Ulysses about his background, knowing he and Ulysses are on the same wavelength of “Life gave us some shit cards, but we still deserve to find peace and warmth.” Very much learning to end their respective cycles of violence, and learning they can do so together.

I want to hear cloud’s background if ur still interested in explaining?

MY CLOUDY BOY!!!

So we got Cloud is August 2023, last year actually. Someone at my parents job was trying to find him a better and happier home

The guy who was finding him a better home had him for about a year or two prior to us getting him, he was a gift for his young daughter from her uncle

His daughter turned out to actually be allergic to bunnies and upon that discovery, they just pretty much threw food at him before finding him a better home. So when we got Cloud, he was not very familiar with human touch

There was also another set of people looking to get Cloud but they were going to have him living outside, which is just awful. We also live in Florida and our summers here are BRUTAL. The heat index today alone is at least 110°

Anyways my parents said fuck that we’ll take him. My mom (who is also allergic to rabbits but takes medicine for both her allergies and asthma) fell in love with him too, he’s adorable

The photo above is the day we got him- all he was eating was hay and strawberries (he hates strawberries now) and was in a cage smaller than Pepper’s (my guinea pig who passed away recently)

And these are some photos I got of him the other day- a round boy who LOVES lettuce among other things, runs around the room all day (and naps in between), playing with his toys, and loves being pet by us

The only thing we’re still working on with him is trying to get him to like being held. We’re taking things slowly for him so he won’t get stressed out much

So while he loves being pet, he forces you to pet him sometimes lol, he doesn’t necessarily like being held. And that’s because of his previous owners doing nothing with him but feeding him

Anyways- that’s Cloud. His name was Thumper when we got him but we changed it to Cloud cause he looks like a cloud! My sister also jokingly calls him Cloud Strife cause of Cloud from FFVII 😭

6. What song I love my bias the most in.

I'm gonna do all biases because nobody can stop me and I'll start with San because among the three I have the least amount of thoughts for him ksdfjskfjas (sorry... also this is under the cut because..... you'll see kasdjflkdöas)

ok first of all... mist. his voice sounds so soft in the entire song and he's singing this so well??? also in arriba his short line right before the last chorus sounds SOOO good, i really love his voice when he sings with that energy!!! another song that just has to be mentioned here is turbulence, he's so dramatic in the second chorus but i think that's what made me notice his voice especially in this song!! also inception, because of the vocals, but also because of his choreo in the chorus!!!!! (to mention choreo once in the entire post lol)

I'm semi-normal about wooyoung's parts, so I'll do him next aksdjfklsa and i just want to say celebrate. like????? the very first time i heard that song my immediate reaction to his parts was that they need to let him sing like that more often!!!! he sounds SO GOOD there????? and when he gets the right lines you can actually hear that this guy has a lot of power in his voice (idk, i tend to notice this especially in songs where the first time a line appears they give it to jongho and then the second time wooyoung sings it, like the comparison just makes it so clear how much energy woo has in his voice when used right!!) idk i've been dying to say this somewhere and i WILL say it again so!!!!!!!
