btw reading yotbr is like. reading coheed fanfic that’s canon. it’s silly but i recommend it lol.. the character dynamics are cute and the fight scenes are kinda epic.. i have a physical copy i hunted for but if you care about the lore at all and don’t wanna get one irl or pay for the ebook you can read it for free here !!!! This is my first official comic costume and I pulled it together for the Coheed Cruise in 2020... where my then boyfriend proposed to me! I still haven't taken any fancy photos of her, but I genuinely had such a great time running around as her.

I based her design off her action figure. Bought the shirt, leggings, boots and wig; trimmed the wig. Made the belts and pouches out of pleather. Would like to upgrade them one day to something more complicated and even closer in accuracy to the figure. They are held in place by safety pins on the underside of the clothes.

I'm really uncomfortable in contacts, especially ones that make me blinder, so I decided to use makeup to achieve a blind-eye look. For the hand blasts, I wanted to mold the cellophane to my hands and layer them, but couldn't get a heat gun in time. Instead, they're attached via tape to my ILY fingers.

I would like to update the hand blasts and belts, and perhaps play with the cellophane to see if it would work for my face as well, just to be uniformed. We shall see.

Did you hear the new Coheed and Cambria singles? They just released a music video for The Joke a couple of days ago

"The Joke" has grown on me a little. It probably doesn't help that the first few times I listened was from a radio stream at absolute dogshit quality. I think the fucked up weird descending guitar riff thing that's going on could have been fine like once maybe twice but it's grating at this level. That said, I think this song has some of the wildest bass parts we've ever seen out of Zach Cooper.

Idk it's a weird, weird song. I hope it doesn't indicate what the overall sonic profile of Vaxis 3 is going to be - I liked Vaxis 2 A LOT and I liked some of the experimentation they did there but I don't want to keep leaning really hard into heavy synth stuff indefinitely and I kinda want Claudio to get over the autotune phase. Give me more weird 8 minute prog songs with the most inexplicably catchy hooks anyone's ever heard.

"Deranged" is the best it's ever sounded, though. Iirc Claudio rerecorded some of the vocal parts, overall the sound is much cleaner than the original version. It very much DOES make me wanna go listen to YOTBR every time I hear it though.

AHHHH yay! 10. are you interested in the amory wars? I am! I have MOST of the comics (Last time I wanted to complete my set the shipping was insane so I didn't go ahead with the purchase RIP) Tbh though I haven't reallyyyyy been keeping up with the story from the last two albums (woopsie)

11. have you met any of the band members? Yessir I have! At the IKSSE:3 Neverender tour in 2014 I had Platinum VIP so I got to take a photo with them and everything. Claudio grabbed my arm to look at my (then) partially done Coheed sleeve tattoo and I'll remember that always cuz he was like :O. I also got to see Claudio at a small comic book store in Philly while the GA1 Neverender tour was going on and he signed my YOTBR book :)

i unlocked a secret coheed and cambria demo in my dream there was a music video to go along with it as well.. it was a cartoon stylized animated video like as if there was an amory wars animated series or something.. it was actually rly good

I don't care what anyone says. Year of the Black Rainbow is a beautiful album, with fantastic lyrics, and great guitar, etc. Every Coheed album is a masterpiece.

Fact: In YOTBR it’s explained that Vielar Crom’s perma-armor has a little slot in the helmet so that he can eat. This is actually incorrect. The slot in the helmet’s real purpose is so that Crom can kiss Mage Covent Marth
