I know he pissed everyone off but after this chapter I think I can actually get behind Yoshida as a character. I think he’s mysterious, honestly probably misled, but overall not evil and its so interesting how his normal facade cracked here. If he was completely heartless he wouldn’t have ever offered to buy Denji food and if he really didn’t care he wouldn’t have gotten upset with Denji. Makima was “my way or nothing else” but Yoshida still gave Denji a choice (a stupid one but still a choice) and he didn’t even pursue or tentacle grab him when they walked away.
