It’s insane how the Will Solace kinnies manage to paint a whole well-built, magnificent story/ background for him, just by the scraps Rick left.

I mean. I have grown to love Michael Yew and Lee Fletcher - those that I have absolutely no memory of except for the names - just because they were portrayed so beautiful in those Solangelo/Will-centric fanfics. (And a few Apollo-centric ones too) That certainly shows a lot of talent, right there.

I’m serious. Yall are beyond amazing.

I finished reading Surviving Romance by Lee Yone! My god does this author know how to craft a story. Also love all the heavily implied lesbians that was great along with the token straight couple breaking all the stereotypes. The message of the story was so emotional too! Ah glad I finished it up before daily pass got to it.

hate how webtoon advertises things. apparently they’ve gotten here u are on there and I just saw a little tagline on it that was like. “softboy meets seriousboy” like. I read here u are years ago and I’m not particularly obsessed with it but man… what a reductive way of describing those characters. yuyang in particular being described as “soft” irks me in particular considering how people treat him in the world of here u are…

(also it’s like. the comic was originally in chinese but this translation has opted to use the korean names from presumably a korean localization / translation of the comic which really throws me off but. deep sigh)

Speaking of Webtoons, Lee Yone is seriously my favorite author. Surviving Romance and Makeup Remover are my all-time favorites because of their dynamic characters who grow and change with the story no matter how small their role

I've read (am reading) both of these and I agree!! She's got a talent for making very compelling female-led stories and I looked forward to The Makeup Remover every single week it was updating. The competition looks were always so hype and my favorite has to be the one where--

I don't fastpass a lot but you know I fastpassed Surviving Romance to get to the episode where Jihyeon came back 😭 I may be weak

I also enjoy the diversity of the female characters!! That one girl who's like a foot tall with a mushroom on her head <///3 compared to Rina (whom I'm rooting for!!) and Cheram (the most regular person there 🥺)

I know you're not a blog about them, but u have any thoughts on cute/murderous kiddo Kayn and first time dad Zed?

oh, being honest? Ionia is a region that I hate as a whole, almost all the champions there give me a certain irritation.

But surprisingly I don't dislike Zed? Kayn is annoying in everything he sets out to be, but I love how the devotion/gratitude he has towards Zed is addressed in the lore, they have a really cute father-son relationship, found family, that sort of thing.

Wait so. 

Michael became Cabin Seven’s counselor after Lee died in the Battle of the Labyrinth right? And then he died in the Battle in Manhattan with Will as the successor.

I looked up a little and apparently, there was more or less a year between the two battles. 

So that was how long Michael was a counselor? Barely more than a year? A year for all his efforts of becoming a good counselor like his brother only to die shortly after? 

I’m saying this because I intend to have Michael’s POV in one of my fics, and now I don’t know how to react with this.
