In a rush, a fleecy material is tossed over his shoulders! Along with...? Was that a Yoimiya?!

"You'llneverseemecoming! Bam!" smoooth depart, landing away from his stiff shoulders, thank you. "I've already got dinner cooked and ready! Tea? Brewed, pillow fluffed, aaand you've got the world's greatest cuddler to help you sleep the night away!"

Spoil Thoma time? Spoil Thoma time.

Today has been a particularly rowdy day in terms of security. Working with the Tenryou in the expeditions of ensuring the Sacred Sakura's protection, getting a more vivid look at how the abyssal foes that surround this land evolved as much as its people. It left him feeling a wellspring of satisfaction being able to fortify what keeps their lands safe. To take in people who were once enemies, who found themselves struggling in a lost cause between free will and duty, to finally unify as they all simply wished for their home to remain safe.

So if his muscles ached? If there was weariness due to eating modest (and primarily rations, today held no time for hearty), it was a price well paid. Returning back to a sunny face that warmed the heart already had him unconsciously smiling. "'Bout time everyone to start packing it in at this hour. Which means.. Should she be wrapped up by now too? Almost forgot if she was going too.." Little did he know, it's these idle thoughts that managed to conjure forth her very being.

It was abrupt, a shooting star that decides to momentarily flicker instead of making a proud crescent across the skies. Thoma's heart successfully jolts within his chest as the blur of scarlet and gold swept by his figure, leaving what looked like.. an apron?

There's hardly a moment to capture the instant as he normally would. Yoimiya was here prepared and all the way down to the finishing stance. (Something he swears he saw depicted in a particular manga. Which was it..?)

"You.. haha, Yoimiya?" That welcomed disbelief and the certainty of her appearance, it allows whatever remnants of tension that kept him standing to gradually ebb away. Relief. His steps were unconsciously making his way towards her, towards home while an unexpected list was made and checked within that same second. This explained why such a luxurious scent was hovering from within the humble dwelling, and as for the rest of the details? It made such a weary eagerness weave through his body as he doesn't miss a beat.

For a fleeting moment he just needs to let his forehead rest against her's. To soak in the ticklish softness of her bangs, to the vibrant energy that unconscious blankets him just from her presence alone. Thoma was a lot less shy in allowing their lips to briefly meet, melding in a sweet serenity as a tender strength now keeps him afloat. It was a particular action to let the depths of his gratitude truly be felt. Some part of his soul sighed at the thought of not having to worry about that tonight.

"That sounds divine," He mentions after briefly parting.

"And something I can certainly use too.. I've got some wild tales on what happened today. I.. Hmhm, I really would love nothing more than sharing them with you over a good meal. Shall we?" He notes, carefully drawing an arm along her waist as a means to just hold but also gain a bit of support himself.

Tonight would be theirs for the taking.

Heizou:

“i’m home” you close the door behind you

“hey sweetheart, i’m cooking fried eggs, come take some” Heizou answered from the kitchen. You throw away your heels, working at the Tenshukaku has constraints but wearing a uniform and heels is the worst.

Your boyfriend was already here since an hour, waiting for you to come home. You didn’t know how, but Heizou organized his schedule in such way there would always be someone to take good care of you when you come back from work

You shuffle to the kitchen, following the delicious scent of eggs in a pan.

Heizou is at the stove, stirring eggs and sometimes adding some provencal herbs from Fontaine. You take him from behind in a hug

“oh? my baby had a bad day” Heizou softly asks. You burry your face in the crook of his neck and tighten up your arms around his waist

“hmm…Yuki made me run all over the Tenshukaku because everything I did wasn’t well done in her point of view” Heizou rubs your hand and hold the pan at the same time

“i’m sure you did everything well, she’s just jealous of my girl” you chuckle, he takes a plate and lies two eggs on it

“how could she be jealous of me, I’m just a poor girl trying to be an adult, I look like nothing beside her…” you purposely whine. Heizou ends up with some herbs and put the plate away. He turns around and takes your face in his hands

“you don’t look like nothing, you’re the prettiest girl I’ve ever seen. You deserved to be promoted, don’t let this shrew convince you otherwise, she’s just jealous, everyone is, who couldn’t be jealous of you…” Heizou whispers with heart-shaped eyes

“you’re heavenly beautiful” He kisses you gently. You savor his lips and kiss him back

“you made eggs remember?” you mutter against his mouth

“yeah, I made eggs for u, come on, time to eat ♡”

Yoimiya:

“I’m home” you push the shoji close behind your back. The minka is quiet, unusually quiet indeed. You’re at home but none already welcomed you with great hugs and loud greetings

“’miya?” you call your girlfriend, she should be somewhere around, Yoimiya didn’t tell you about any hangout this morning

“I’m here babe” you hear a muffled voice from the bedroom. You take off your shoes and walk to the other room in socks. You find Yoimiya lazily lying on the bed doing nothing but staring at the ceiling

“I’ve been waiting for you to come home, I have a surprise!”

You throw yourself on her, not letting time to Yoimiya to get up

“aiya? Everything’s okay?” the blonde asks. You put your head on her tummy

“hmm, yeah, I’m just tired” you leave light kisses on the soft skin of her belly. The setting sun is shining through the window, making shadows of your bodies on the wall. Outside, parents are calling their children to get home. Yoimiya braids a strand of your hair

“what did you do of your day ‘miya?” you ask, your voice vibrating on her skin

“well, nothing much, it’s too hot outside to do anything, I just made you a little gift!” Yoimiya takes your hand and gives butterflies kiss

“hm a gift you say? What is it? Kiss and cuddle session with you on the bedsheets?” you try to guess, your girlfriend lightly laugh

“no it’s not unfortunately, we have to wait the night to see it” little dusts are dancing in the orange light rays

“I don’t want to wait that long, I just want to cuddle and sleep in big spoon with you” you mumble, Yoimiya giggles

“okay baby, I’ll show it to you tomorrow then”

Kuki Shinobu:

The front door is already open “I’m home”, you close it behind you

“angel, you’re already here?” you hear Shinobu asking from the living room. You quickly throw your shoes, coat and stuff. Your girlfriend sees you bursting out of the door, tears pricking at the corner of your eyes

“oh my, what happened?!” Shinobu makes you sit on the couch, panicking at the sight of you in this state

“i-I fell in the stairs at-t work and my boss told me to go home be-because I looked exhausted” you struggle to explain, your voice stammering. Shinobu hugs you tight

“it’s okay baby, I’m here, you’re good, everything is fine” she lies you beside her and rests your head on her lap. You sob, trying to stop your tears, Shinobu softly wipes them from your cheeks

“take a deep breath darling, I’m here, do it like me okay?” Shinobu deeply breathe, you copy her as best as you can, then exhale slowly. You repeat the processes two or three time before finally calming down

“Do you want to do something baby?” she brushes your hair

“no I just want to stay here and cuddle” you whisper

“I’m so tired Shinobu, I can’t with this job anymore” hiccups half cuts your sentences

“I think you shouldn’t drop it, you always wanted this work, as long as I know you, you ever dreamt of” she circles her long fingers in your hand

“but what should I do then?” you gently play with the flesh of her soft thighs “I could join the gang, it would change my mind beside work nah?”

“how about taking a few weeks off? I’m sure your boss would agree, he knows how much you involve yourself in this work, how much you’re dedicated” Shinobu massages your shoulders

You take your time to think of it, two weeks away from work, in a new destination, just you and Shinobu. The idea pleases you

“I like that, I’ll talk to my boss about it tomorrow.” Then you slowly fall asleep.

Albedo:

• The problem with Albedo is that he tends to pull all nighters and then gets up super early - Often times he goes to bed when you’re already asleep and is out before you

• However, he would do anything for you, so when you come up and ask him to come to bed already… Well, how could he refuse?

• He likes sleeping on his side, arms wrapped around you with your face nuzzled into his head/ chest

• Beware of the messy hair tickling your face

• The only time he doesn’t get up early is when you’re so tangled up together that he couldn’t slip out without waking you - He would never want to disturb you. Those days he just silently watches you with a soft gaze

• Often times Klee sneaks into your room some time during the night as well, so you end up with her cuddled up between the two of you

• 100% would actually read you a bedtime story if you asked

• Often he also falls asleep on his desk… On those nights, you sometimes bring a blanket with you, pull a chair over and lean onto him, sleeping there instead… It’s not the best for avoiding neck pains, but it’s worth it

Diluc:

• Another case of “He stays out until late at night so you’re usually asleep before him”

• But he makes it up to you by waiting for you to wake up in the morning

• Sometimes he orders Adelinde to bring you breakfast so you can just enjoy a quiet morning together

• Not the cuddliest of people, but he’s willing to endure it for you

• Probably a pretty light sleeper, gets annoyed at your for moving around too much

• It’s like you’re sleeping right next to a heater when he’s around - Lovely during winter, less ideal for summers

Kaeya:

• Is definitely the type of person to sleep naked/ just in underwear

• Which you don’t really mind, who wouldn’t appreciate waking up to their gorgeous boyfriend like that?

• Big soft chest = Perfect place to rest your head. Literally, you don’t even need a pillow

• You tend to sleep on him, which he actually really likes… He likes wrapping his arms around you

• Takes the eyepatch off when he sleeps, but somehow always manages to put it back on before you wake up/ turn away without you seeing anything

• Definitely the type to wake up next to you, give you a crooked grin and say something cheeky like “Morning, sunshine!”

Thoma:

• You get to have a freshly made bed and fluffed-up pillows every night because Thoma is just perfect like that

• You don’t just get “breakfast in bed” - You get a whole brunch event with Thoma. Coffee, pancakes, fruit… Whatever you want, he’s gonna whip it up for you in no time

• Probably moves around quite a lot in his sleep

• Always ends up lying draped over you

• He definitely likes to cuddle you to sleep

• Also wakes you up with kisses peppered all over your face

• He’s usually pretty exhausted cuz he’s on his feet all day, so he’s out like a light the moment his head hits the pillow

Venti:

• Venti is the absolute worst blanket thief you’ve ever seen

• Like, he’ll wrap himself up in the blanket so tight that you have no chance of getting it back from him

• Moves around like crazy while he sleeps too

• Actually a pretty deep sleeper, nothing can wake him up

• Likes it when you put your arms around him and hold him until he falls asleep

• He’d totally sing you lullabies every night.

Xiao:

• Xiao pretty much cages you up in his arms, he’s super protective of you

• Super light sleeper, he wakes up at the smallest sound

• Probably has a tendency to wake up from pretty bad nightmares, sitting up straight in a cold sweat

• Whenever that happens, you hug him until he has calmed down, stroking his back, maybe even humming a song to him

• When you go back to sleep after that, it’s usually Xiao lying in your arms and you stroking his hair until he falls asleep

• Surprisingly enough, your presence soothes him quite a bit and he’s had considerably less nightmares ever since you began sleeping next to him

• The kind of guy who wakes you up WAY TOO EARLY but makes up for it by taking you to a really neat spot to watch the sunrise together.

Itto:

• He takes up SO MUCH SPACE in the bed, it’s insane

• You have no other choice but to sleep ontop of him

• So sorry, but he definitely snores like crazy

• He REALLY likes holding you while he sleeps, there’s no way you get out of bed before him because he just won’t let go

• Since he usually doesn’t have to work that means he tends to sleep in super late

• He sleeps like a rock, the shogunate could storm the house with an arrest warrant and he’d still sleep through that (not saying that happened before but… It probably totally happened before)

• You know those people at sleepovers who are just super chatty and will talk your ear off while you’re trying to fall asleep? Yeah, you get to have that. Every. Night.
