Ahhh @natsubutart it finally came 😄. The bag is a decent size, has a nice canvas feel that makes it seem sturdy. The picture came out great as well and it’s on both sides. Totally worth it. Y'all go buy from her redbubble she’s got such cute art to sell!

YOI Lovechildren Pokemon!

Here are my headcannons for @natsubutart‘s characters from the YOI Lovechildren AU! 

Mamoru: Dragonair (Male)

Beautiful and gentle, but very powerful. Do not underestimate it. Eventually it changes into a powerful dragon (Dragonite). It looks sweet, but my god does it pack a punch. It’s final form, Dragonite, is known as a “pseudo-legendary Pokémon”, meaning it’s power will be on the level of legendary god Pokémon. Mamoru’s got a lot of potential, so I chose a Pokémon to reflect this.

  Milo : Pyroar (Female)

Dynamic yet beautiful. Milo comes from a cat loving family so I figured a fire kitty would suit him. The captivating allure of fire with the grace of a wild cat would fit Milo. I chose the female version because of its sleek and graceful shape.

JJ Jr.: Luxray (Male)

Proud yet subdued. I figured JJ Sr. had a Luxray which means Jr. would also have one. His father’s Luxray is haughty and loud. On the other hand, Jr’s Luxray is quite different from his father’s. It has a very chill and relaxed personality.  

Jasmine and Joshua: Regular and Alolan Raichu (Female and Male, respectively)

The both of them have spunky mice Pokémon. This Pokémon has two versions depending on which part of the world it’s from. Joshua has the regular one (top) while Jasmine has the Alolan variety (bottom). Since Alolan Raichu levitates on its tail using psychic power, I gave it to Jasmine because she’s the one lifted during pair skating.

Note: The JJ Leroy Clan all have electric Pokémon. Consider it a family tradition.

  Noah: Altaria (Female)

Gorgeous yet immensely powerful. It’s known for its beautiful song. A tribute to Noah’s singing talents. Don’t be deceived by its fluff. It’s a dragon Pokémon and can be a fierce competitor.

  Myung Wook: Lycanroc (Day Form)

A dog Pokémon to fit his own love for canines. When this Pokémon grows and changes, it can have three different forms depending on the time of day. This version occurs when it trains during the day. This version looks the most like a husky, so I think he’d appreciate it.

  Celine: Tsareena (Female)

This exquisite Pokémon is regal; perfect for the confident Celine. This Pokémon is known for its powerful kicks, which I’m sure Celine is capable of due to her ballet career.

  Alessandro: Gyarados (Shiny Variety, Female)

The origin behind Gyarados’ conception is behind the legend of the koi fish that became a dragon. So, it’s perfect for him since he has a tattoo of it. It’s first form, Magikarp, is known for being pretty useless. However, if you train it it’ll turn into its fierce second form. To reflect his red hair, I gave him a shiny version. Usually, Gyarados is blue but it does come in red (it’s super rare).  

  Yuuchan: Lopunny (Female) 

This rabbit Pokémon is cute and adorable, just like Yuuchan! Since she likes plushies, I thought she would love Lopunny’s soft ears. This Pokémon is also known for its amazing kicks.

Wait, so where does Otabek fit in the Lovechildren AU (sorry if you've already answered this)? Are he and Yurio together? I'm asking because that artwork of Otabek waking up in the morning was tagged with that AU. LOVE YOUR BLOG AND YOUR ART BTW

Thank you for liking my blog and art ^ ^ But uh, I don’t think I’ve ever drawn Otabek waking up? I don’t know why anyone else would be using my hyper-specific AU tag, but unless it’s drawn by this particular blog, it’s not part of the “canon” of this AU ^ ^;; The tag I’ve been using for this AU is #Future!Verse ABO AU, though it may just be easier to find all of my posts in this AU’s section on my YOI Masterpost, which is again linked to every single one of my AU posts ^ ^;;;;;

All of the shipping in the main family is Yuuri-centric, because that’s just what I happen to enjoy. As stated in the Basics post, which is also linked to all of my AU posts and is in the Masterpost:

Yuuri-centric poly marriage, the main ship(s) are Victor x Yuuri, Yurio x Yuuri, Phichit x Yuuri, Minami x Yuuri, all simultaneous, with glimpses of mentions of Chris x Yuuri and Otabek x Yuuri. Relationships among other members of the family are more or less platonic.

All other members of the family, including Yurio and Otabek, are strong queer platonic but they’re used to moresomes and helping each other out.

While I am fully supportive of everyone shipping anything they want so long as it does not interfere with the shipping pleasures of others, this AU depicts my own personal shipping preferences. It was originally going to be more minor, but it seems there will also be an increasing amount of Otabek x Yuuri and Chris x Yuuri in this AU as well. Yurio and Otabek are queer platonic, and Yurio feels romantic love exclusively for Yuuri, and the same eventually for Otabek. If that’s not your thing, well now you know ^ ^;

21. What was the first fanfic you ever wrote?

It’s a TsukkiYama fic called Land on Me :) rated M for underage drinking and handjobs

22. Is there anything you regret writing?

Hm... not really. Tho that UshiOi daddy kink fic I wrote does haunt me, only because it’s so bad

23. Name a fic you’ve written that you’re especially fond of & explain why you like it.

Well, I say it every time, but Fruitless! It’s the pinnacle of my writing and it’s really what launched me into the fandom. I’ve never spent as much time on something as Fruitless, agonizing over every little detail and making sure it remained ambiguous. I just had a lot of fun coming up with this world and all its stuff. it’s everything i want: romance with a lil blood on the side :-)

24. What fic do you desperately need to rewrite or edit?

Ugh the UshiOi daddy kink fic that I’m not even linking because I hate it

25. What’s your most popular fanfic?

It’s Fruitless! 4 kudos away from being at a whopping 700 kudos!!!

26. How do you come up with your fanfic titles?

I don’t even know like sometimes i pick phrases that could describe the theme, sometimes lyrics, sometimes I pick a word that could somehow fit

27. What do you hate more: Coming up with titles or writing summaries?

THEY’RE BOTH THE BANE OF MY EXISTENCE I HATE BOTH OF THEM

28. If someone were to draw a piece of fanart for your story, which story would it be and what would the picture be of?

Well first I would be delighted if anybody drew something for one of my fics in general and I’m not too picky on which fic. Somebody is taking time out of their life to draw a fic for my work. like that’s incredible! I think if I absolutely had to choose though it would have to be Wisteria. UshiOi flowershop AU is so good for drawing fanart for IMO

29. Do you have a beta reader? Why/Why not?

I do not! @tenacioustooru so kindly beta’d Wisteria for me but otherwise I don’t have one. I don’t want to have to wait for somebody to read something for me and I would hate for them to feel obligated or pressured

30. What inspires you to write?

Music a lot of the time, or just daydreaming

32. Do you listen to music when you write or does music inspire you? If so, which band or genre of music does it for you?

I do! I have a writing playlist but lately I’ve been listening to a lot of Pink Floyd and arctic monkeys

33. Do you write oneshots, multi-chapter fics or huuuuuge epics?

I write one shots most of the time but I’ve got 3 WIPs on AO3 now so cheers to me. 3 WIPs that will be over 8 chapters that is

34. What’s the word count on your longest fic?

For multichap right now it’s 65,365 words (Fruitless) and for a oneshot it’s life and love at 12,355 words! lal is a Victuuri fic :)

35. Do you write drabbles? If so, what do you normally write them about?

I can’t write drabbles to save my life unless they’re some of the prompts

36. What’s your favourite genre to write?

Angst and smut

37. First person or third person - what do you write in and why?

Third person. I think first person is cringey for fanfiction I honestly couldn’t tell you why

38. Do you use established canon characters or do you create OCs?

I use canon characters but I have a ton of OC lovechildren for Haikyuu! And I have some for YOI as well

39. What is you greatest strength as a writer?

Hm... I think my dialogue is pretty good. Idk i dont see my writing as that good 

40. What do you struggle the most with in your writing?

Description and finding words that fit instead of using the same one over and over again
