My word for the day: ACCEPTANCE As I got dressed this morning I noticed I grabbed the wrong pair of “leggings”. What I thought were leggings were actually a pair of. booty shorts. The thing is, I didn’t want to go back into my room to get the ones I thought I originally grabbed in fear of waking up the baby and so I made the decision to wear the booty shorts and deal with the stares and possible judgement that comes with insecurity of others and myself. I made the choice to accept that I have cellulite up the wazoo and there wasn’t a damn thing anyone’s views of me will change about that. I made the choice to be comfortable in my skin...ALL OF IT, which for me, means internal skin as well. I accept myself for where I am right now and not where I WANT TO BE. How am I to vibrate higher if I’m constantly seeking enjoyment in what my future self is to be instead of enjoying who I am at present, to the fullest? Yes I’ve got lots and lots of cellulite. Yes my stomac still folds over my jeans 👖 and yes I’ve got tons of more “flaws” but I’m happy with all of it. I’m happy now! Not later (Now I’m thinking about that candy 🍭 Now N Laters 🤣)! I’m also choosing to show a yoga pose that I’m struggling with. This is my right side splits. I sprained my right hamstring a year ago and it hasn’t healed since. I often show the execution of this pose on my left leg because it “looks” better. No longer am I hiding what I’m working on. This is me. This is my journey.
