WELLNESS TIPS TO LIVE BY EVERY DAY:  How To Prevent Anxiety, Stress and Illness and Radiate From The Inside Out

Today is NATIONAL BEAUTY + WELLNESS EDUCATION DAY and we thought no better time to chat on some quick wellness tips how to prevent anxiety, stress and illness and radiate from the inside-out.
I’m always trying to prevent myself from getting sick because I hate nothing more than not being able to teach or work!  It’s seriously something I stress about, which probably doesn’t make it any better! :)
I only get sick probably 1 (2 times max!) a year and I think it’s because I take care of myself to my best ability on a daily basis.  Here are some of my go-to wellness tips that I try to live...
WELLNESS TIPS TO LIVE BY EVERY DAY
Exercise!  Exercise is so much more than just burning calories.  If you’re concerned about wrinkles or dull skin, exercise helps with increasing blood circulation which stimulates new cell growth.  Ever see yogis walking out of yoga classes with glowing skin..?  Case closed!

Get out in nature.  Exposure to nature makes you feel better emotionally and reduces stress hormones.  Our bodies function best with less stress!
Spend time with family & friends!  Spend time with people that make you feel good.  Laughter is always the best medicine.

TAKE BATHS!  My absolute favorite ritual! I take a milk bath every night before bed.  It allows me to restore my mind and body after a long day of work, teaching and business meetings.  I LOVE this Yogahhh! Milk Bath product!

Eat foods that give you energy and don’t cause acne, breakouts and dermatitis.  Sugar can have an effect on our hormones, which then has an effect on our skin.

Just breathe… Breathing (meditating) has been proven to relax the mind and body.  Ever see someone come back from vacation looking absolutely relaxed and glowing?  Being and feeling relaxed makes you glow from the inside-out.
