Shiva and Leviathan, 20/6/24
L: Leviathan: Abyssal mass of bodies. Apparently I have to come back and say this is a small association brought to the forefront, I do not care. I am a politician with that name, the mass as one is core to my existence if I have to justify it. Carrying on.
Shiva, outside Creation in the waters of the Primordial womb, manifests through Reality into the masses. He is the One of which the All are bodies, all ideas of separateness are erased when one acknowledges the collective as parts of a whole. To understand Shiva is to understand that masses of bodies are manifestations of a whole being.
The singularity in the masses, the thread of relation, “the cohesion of the flock of birds”.
Lord of Masks. You noticed the veils thing, especially here the connection between the Veil of Ignorance and the Destroyer of Ignorance. These two things are not at odds, as you saw. I wear whatever masks I must in order to interact with reality, taking as many faces to the point of near infinite stacks of them, but this is how Consciousness interacts with Reality, forced to veil and form bodies around its truth. The understanding of Shiva is the destruction of ignorance, the unveiling. Shiva does not necessarily destroy ignorance through unveiling himself, generally he requires you to unveil him, but either way it’s his nature to veil until you understand him beyond any veil he could put on.
Assimilation into the bodies of the Leviathan is just another way of looking at awakening into the nature of the collective. Shiva does not deal in moral superiority, doesn’t divide divine from mundane beyond surface-level disinctions where other words don’t suffice. There is infinite use in everything that there is, Consciousness gets what it wants and needs from everything in existence. Like some followers see use in corpse ash and human meat and physical strain like extreme meditation - the firey darkness - others find use in the watery darkness of silent, void meditation, eating the flesh of fish they project themselves into, becoming as they are in the waters. There are some who find me in burning, whether burning their body through ritual lashings and intense yoga, and stressing the mind to energetic ends, and there are some who find me in… The exact same thing but visually and shallowly oppositional expressions. Water, instead of fire. A thousand individual wands of various branches and make-ups are still one tool.
The ideas I keep feeding you of Leviathanism, as you’ve noticed, are not far at all from the depths of your own Shaivism-based views on the world. It is divinity, progression of self, empowering of self, and so on that anchors on the same idea at the centre: awareness of who one is in relation to the masses and what their role is among them. If anything, Leviathanism is heading in the direction of post-Creation, “exo-womb” Shaivism, where the follower learns how to balance being in reality with being who they are in a general sense, right? Instead of looking to leave Reality’s illusions it instead benefits and honours the Mat(t)er of reality as playground and school for Consciousness to evolve (change) within. Both awakening to the point of pre-oneness and interaction with Reality itself can be attained and sustained and, unless you plan on leaving existence and aren’t for example coming here to teach or… simply enjoy the fruits of Shakti’s body, both I would argue are necessary for existence.
Here lies the core of “Leviathanism” as opposed to (nondualist) Shaivism, yes, I am generalising using your version of Shaivism as the main face for general Shaivism: nondualist Shaivism sees the Consciousness aware of itself burning up the physicality of and connection to the incarnated bodies to serve the Consciousness, and puts focus on the laws of Reality like physics theory, whereas “Leviathanism” focuses on the applications of awakened Consciousness grounding it like gravitised water in the bodies, and on the laws of reality and interplays of Consciousness and Reality as physics practicals. Neither are at odds with each other, both are the same ideas: Playing Shiva, playing my role, awakening to being me as I awaken to being you, bodies of the unending and un-beginning Lord of Consciousness as a mass of bodies, the mass of bodies as the Lord of Consciousness. Just like the Lord of Consciousness and the Bodies he inhabits, (nondualist) Shaivism and “Leviathanism” are at their core the same thing expressed in two different ways, one Oneness focusing on grasping Oneness through Multiplicity, the other Multiplicity focusing on grasping Multiplicity through Oneness, in a world where Oneness and multiplicity are the same yet different. Understanding how to manipulate or affect one through the other is key. Understand fire and water are key to the Sky.
