I made a post about Dandory Bundory from Busters 2 and briefly mentioned how the bundory family has spanish translations for each member. I was looking at the wiki and noticed that other yo kai from that game have spanish name translations, with some having either french or italian translations. Does anyone know if this is true or if someone on the wiki is just trolling out of boredom?

Fact #80

Many things had to be changed when localizing Yo-kai Watch Blasters, due to copyright complications that would be caused due to references to the Ghostbusters franchise.

The first of these comes in the form of the name; the Japanese version of the game is instead referred to as Yo-kai Watch Busters, a direct reference to the Ghostbusters franchise.

The outfits of Jibanyan, Komasan and Usapyon B had to be completely changed for the same reason, as they were also references to the Ghostbusters franchise.

In Busters, instead of being called Whisped Cream, the final boss is called Whismellowman, as a reference to the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man from, unsurprisingly at this point, the Ghostbusters franchise. In Blasters, as well as being renamed, he was additionally redesigned, though interestingly, neither of these changes are present in Yo-kai Watch: Wibble Wobble.

My Honest thoughts on Yo-Kai Watch 4.

Yo-Kai Watch 4 is perhaps the weirdest game in the entire franchise. Even weirder than “Yo-Kai Watch Just Dance Special Version.”

It BARELY feels like a Yo-Kai watch game when you look at the gameplay. You could tell someone you were just playing a Mod that reskins the characters to Yo-Kai and they’d probably believe you.

The ONLY part that feels remotely Yo-Kai Watch in terms of Gameplay is Busters, which is DLC.

They took away SO MANY YO-KAI IN FOUR. They took away EVOLUTION AND FUSION. But oh, let’s keep Both Frostina AND Blizzaria. We totally need BOTH of them but not Baddinyan, Thornyan, Robonyan F, etc.

Also, Nate isn’t even the main character of the game, really. SUMMER is.

Also, I think the befriending system is really, REALLY Weird.

The game is FUN, sure, but it feels like it shouldn’t be considered a YO-KAI WATCH game.

It’s a good game, I’m not trying to say it’s bad, but a Yo-Kai watch game? That’s pushing it.

Hey ! Fellow Yo-Kai watch fan here. And i have a question.

How would you rank the yo kai watch games (from the ones you have played of course :b)

Ooh, interesting question! I've played all the english games, so I've got a good grasp. I'd say I'd put 1 at the bottom. Least content, lots of reskins, and a non-existent story. Still, I'd say 7/10. Then, I'd put 3. 9/10. My main issues are yokai quality is a bit all over the place, the pacing's weird, and it's basically impossible to 100% due to pandanoko, the T jiba and koma, and busters T. grwat game tho, and it introduced Hailey, the best girl, and maybe best human character in the game? Idk. Then I'd put 2 at the top, 10/10. Best story, great designs overall, and EASILY the most difficult post game (haven't beaten the three superbosses :P) and then there's blasters floating off in limbo. WAY too different to rank, but an amazing game if you have friends... which no yokai watch player does IRL so that point is void. XP

While the English dub's final episode was EP119, Yo-kai Grand Prix!, there was a Phillipine dub of EP200, Flying Komasan and the Wishing World Adventure, zura!/Busters Treasure Arc #21: Merry Kurushimas Ruins.

Other episodes surrounding this one were not dubbed (from what I can tell) and, despite the episode's ties to M03, Yo-kai Watch the Movie: The Great Adventure of the Flying Whale & the Double World, Nyan!, the movie in question wasn't dubbed either, likely due to the partial live action that was used.
