My Honest thoughts on Yo-Kai Watch 4.

Yo-Kai Watch 4 is perhaps the weirdest game in the entire franchise. Even weirder than “Yo-Kai Watch Just Dance Special Version.”

It BARELY feels like a Yo-Kai watch game when you look at the gameplay. You could tell someone you were just playing a Mod that reskins the characters to Yo-Kai and they’d probably believe you.

The ONLY part that feels remotely Yo-Kai Watch in terms of Gameplay is Busters, which is DLC.

They took away SO MANY YO-KAI IN FOUR. They took away EVOLUTION AND FUSION. But oh, let’s keep Both Frostina AND Blizzaria. We totally need BOTH of them but not Baddinyan, Thornyan, Robonyan F, etc.

Also, Nate isn’t even the main character of the game, really. SUMMER is.

Also, I think the befriending system is really, REALLY Weird.

The game is FUN, sure, but it feels like it shouldn’t be considered a YO-KAI WATCH game.

It’s a good game, I’m not trying to say it’s bad, but a Yo-Kai watch game? That’s pushing it.

I love Yo-kai Watch. When I first saw this guy, it freaked me out, but also, I felt the urge to draw him. I still have no idea why, but whatever.

Yo-kai Watch 4 Fan Translation v1.0.0

Mod version 1.0.0 is now officially released. This version has a boatload of new and redone stuff. To name some examples: A full translated story, halfwidth inputted names, overhauled files, and more! The Gamebanana page has some more specifics if you'd like to take a look and download it. Saw this on Twitter that said share the most useless Yo Kai Watch info you know.

In Yo-Kai Watch 4, there is a Yo-Kai Tribe know as the Shinma Tribe with only three Yo-Kai in it. (Two if you don't count the anime exclusive one) These Yo-Kai are:

Harbinger (A anime exclusive Yo-Kai I'm pretty sure)

Soranaki or Overseer if you prefer the localized name.

And Shinmagunshin Fukurou (non surprisingly)
