Found this alignment chart on Twitter and decided I had to plot out my OCs on it. 

The results are in. Most of them are heavily depressed. So that’s.... good....

For clarification’s sake, here’s how it reads: (i’m trying to read this top to bottom, essentially) Nymin: Wants to get food but kinda wants to fight Chi’ahu: Neutral, but kind of wants to fight/get food Tequo: Def wants to die, but sort of wants to get food (he’s a good cook) M3LWR: Wants to die, but leans towards neutrality Brenig: Wants to fight more than he wants to die (also kind of wants to get food) Yllanan: Wants to die but might fight you instead Iyakuum: Would literally punch god in the face if he had the chance.

Goretober Day 12 - Hypothermia by Sarcasm-theSickness

Tbh I’m a huge baby and I didn’t want to look for real references for what people suffering from hypothermia look like. So we’re gonna have to manage here with my best guess, which is just two already blue aliens looking even more blue (and purple). Depends what kind of night it is.

On a good night/celebration night, Nymin is for sure wasted while Tequo attempts to keep xem in check.

On a bad night, Nymin is babysitting Tequo while he drinks and vomits his miserable guts out.

Yllanan stays out of those encounters.

On a wild night out on the town, which OC is the one to get drunk and which OC is the one doing damage control?

Goretober Day 10 - Free by Sarcasm-theSickness

Day 10 is a free space, so I used it as a "weekly roundup" sorta thing of the previous 9 days (except day 3 cuz I haven't worked further on the robot's design yet). The quote is from that Simpsons meme where Marge is sitting in the front seat of the car with Bart and Lisa in the back and she says "Kids, could you lighten up a little?" It’s honestly a huge shock to me that I’ve gone up until now without drawing Nymin for any of the prompts, so I thought it’d be funny to show xem just quietly reading a magazine while all this friggin chaos is happening around xem. Goretober Day 4 - Nosebleed by Sarcasm-theSickness

I’m using moriarcy’s Goretober prompt. Day 4 is Nosebleed.

I chose Yllanan as my subject. It’s been too long since I’ve drawn xem, though, so it didn’t turn out as well as I was hoping. No idea what size this will show up as on Tumblr, but I thought a good way to get myself into the mindset of my characters was to do a spectrum sheet to chart out their personalities in a way I can see.

Thoughts: Damn, I really put all the bad stuff into Yllanan, didn’t I? Look at the poor thing. Xe’s broken. Tequo was hard to chart because he’s very different around the few people he gets close to, so I just went with his “I don’t know you” reactions for most things unless the category was more about intimate relationships. Nymin was also difficult to chart, partially because xe acts a lot more brainless than xe truly is, so for most of this, I went with what xe would usually appear to be/act like.

What Overwatch hero would your OC main?

This is an incredibly old and out of date drawing of the three of them, but it seemed only right that the first post on this fresh new blog was an actual drawing of all three OCs that will be the main features here.

From left to right we have Yllanan, Nymin, and Tequo.

This shouldn’t be used as a true reference for what they look like since they’ve changed a lot since this drawing, but it’s the only one I have of all three of them right now. Hoping to change that soon!

The goal of this blog is to catalog and work through the character development of my characters for the story I want to write, The H.U.B. (working title). Ask Box is open so you can ask them about themselves, I’ve followed a bunch of OC prompt blogs/tag your OC blogs that I plan to interact with, and any character development/world development tools and charts I use will be posted here as well.

Since aliens do exist in my story, it’s a complex answer.

Nymin was ecstatic to discover other life out there, having spent much of xyr youth dreaming about what could be beyond the stars.

Tequo was horrified when he first met an alien race. However, it became numb to him soon enough, and now he’s somewhat jealous of the species that have what he deems to be “superior anatomy”.

Yllanan is still adjusting to it. Xe doesn’t trust other species offhand and even fears them, somewhat. This manifests into social anxiety, panic attacks when in crowds, and a general desire to stay indoors always. Bottom line is, xe just wants to go home and resents the aliens who stole xem from xyr life and set the rules saying xe can’t go back.

How does your OC feel about aliens?

Do they think they exist? Would they like to meet them? Are they scared of them?
