HII OMG YHS BLOG!! For some reason I was super fixated on Domrao the entire series.. maybe some pinning headcanons for him? :0 love your work so far!

oh my gosh my first request !! Thank you so much for this, it means a lot to me /gen!! Dom has always been one of my favorites but his characterization is slightly trick for me, so I hope it’s alright! Sorry for taking a while, too :( request again if you feel like it! 💕💕

Okay so First off, this guy… COMPLETELY confused at his own feelings. Dom has never been the best with articulating his thoughts (he much rather deal with things in violence), but with a swirl of emotions that feel so utterly soft, he, for once, isn’t completely sure that his fists are the best way to go…

Of course, he first has to confide in Prime. He talks about how you’re always on his mind, and about how much he just wants to squeeze you or something. You get his heart pounding, just like the adrenaline he gets from beating up Sam! Just— what an enigma you are, though, because for some reason… he can’t think of you as annoying.

I mean, sure, the feelings that you’re causing are annoying; but you, yourself? Dom ends up balling his fists and biting his knuckles, unsure of how to explain his strange thoughts. Wasn’t it weird for him to be thinking of you as… cute? Funny? Cool? Maybe he just wanted to be your friend, or —

…Oh no.

While ranting to Prime, Dom stops mid-sentence as he realizes what the hell is happening in his head. He’s in love. AND HE DOESN’T LIKE IT.

Except he kind of does, because now whenever you look at him he gets really happy and — OH NO OH SHIT OH FUCK

Dom was never really an artsy kid, finding PE to be his more suitable favorite subject, but now he spends his classes trying to figure out how to write some sort of… confession. I mean, the guy is nervous about how he feels, but he’s simultaneously determined about getting what he wants. If he can make a poem, maybe you like it! That’s what romantic people do, right?? And—

“You’re losing your touch!” Sam would yell at him, knocking him out of a dodgeball round. How had it even turned into PE?? WHY WAS HE SO UNFOCUSED? Oh right — you.

Dom tries not to do anything super cheesy, like write love notes or get paired up with you in classes, but he totally wants to. Even though all his written confessions get crumpled up, Invader and Prime can definitely tell. (And invader is determined to get you two together!)

OH BUT he’s definitely the type to try-hard in PE to try and impress you!!

Overall, he tries to keep up his tough guy persona, but he’s still emotional and brash. So… he’s confused.

Dom WOW, I'm your biggest fan! Tell me, how can I be as cool as you?

without missing a beat, dom turns to you and flashes his signature, big and goofy grin. bushy eyebrows raise as he begins to explain, excited to answer your flattery while prime rolls his eyes in the background.

“oh? you want my secret to being cool now, do you? HA! well, as flattering as that is, i’m afraid that my awesomeness is simply just… natural. it’s unable to be learned, even if you try. the dom-wow charm is simply just too great to copy!”

he then extends his hand out, and for a split moment, there’s almost nervousness in his eyes, accompanied by a light red tint in the face.

“buuut we could… y’know… try our best anyways! you might not be as epic as me, but uh… second-place is pretty good too, isn’t it?”
