I've been fighting the Yggdrasil Afghan since February and have frogged it like 3 times and put it away for months on end. But my cousin's wedding is December and I am very busy, so I picked up the yarn and smaller needles this time and in only like 2 days (over a week), I've already got further than I ever had before.

The Impact of Collusion on the Norse Society: Odin's Call to Action
The Norse Society: Odin ‘Lord of Frenzy, Destroyer’ – Oracle: Andrew Rogers.
“It is paramount to Cesate the individuals who have collude to remove aspects of humanity in these people known as Afghans, this action has actioned against the Norse People to the great detriment of them and ourselves, you have a path that you keep repeating and is required a very effective stop indicated from Andrew Rogers who I Odin support” - Odin ‘Lord of Frenzy, Destroyer’.
The Norse Society: Odin 'Lord of Frenzy, Destroyer' – Oracle: Andrew Rogers.
The statement presented by Odin emphasizes the importance of addressing the individuals who have conspired against the Afghans and the Norse people. With the aim of preserving humanity, Odin urges for a definitive and effective solution to this ongoing issue. The Oracle, Andrew Rogers, is called upon to guide and support the process.
It is evident that the actions taken against the Afghan people have not only affected them but also caused great harm to our own community. This recurring pattern must come to an end, and swift and appropriate measures must be implemented.
As an Oracle, Andrew Rogers possesses the knowledge and wisdom required to navigate through these complex circumstances. With the support of Odin, the Lord of Frenzy and Destroyer, it is expected that Andrew Rogers will provide valuable insights and guidance to bring about the necessary change.
Together, we must work towards restoring balance and harmony. The welfare of both the Norse people and the affected Afghans is of utmost importance. The guidance and intervention of Andrew Rogers, supported by Odin, will play a crucial role in ensuring a positive outcome for all parties involved.
Odin ‘Lord of Frenzy, Destroyer’
Odin, the revered god of Norse/Germanic mythology, holds a prominent place within the ancient Norse pantheon. With his complex and multifaceted nature, Odin is associated with a diverse range of domains and qualities, making him a figure of great importance in the myths and beliefs of the Norse/Germanic tribes.
Wisdom stands as one of Odin's most renowned attributes. Known as the Allfather, Odin is revered as the wisest of the gods. His insatiable thirst for knowledge led him to make great sacrifices in his quest for wisdom, including sacrificing an eye in exchange for a sip from the Well of Urd. This act bestowed upon him the immeasurable wisdom that guided him in his rule over the cosmos.
In addition to wisdom, Odin is closely linked to healing and death. He possesses the power to grant solace and healing to those in need. As the god of death, Odin presides over battles and the souls of warriors who perish in combat. He welcomes the brave fallen to Valhalla, the great hall of heroes, where they prepare for Ragnarök, the apocalyptic final battle.
Odin's association with royalty and the gallows further showcases his significance. The ruler of the gods and the cosmos, he embodies the qualities of kingship and leadership. The gallows, perhaps surprising at first glance, symbolizes Odin's dedication to gaining arcane knowledge. Hanging himself from Yggdrasil, the cosmic tree, for nine nights, Odin discovered the secrets of the runes, an alphabet and system of divination highly valued by the Norse.
War and battle find their place among Odin's domains as well. As the god of war, Odin inspires bravery and grants victory to those he favors in battle. His guidance and support are sought by warriors in their quests for triumph and glory.
Sorcery and poetry also fall within Odin's purview. Known as a powerful practitioner of magic, he wields the knowledge of spells and rituals. The god's connection to poetry intertwines with his wisdom, as he is said to have the ability to inspire bards and poets, infusing their words with creativity and passion.
Odin's nature encompasses a range of emotions and states of mind. Often associated with frenzy and ecstatic states, he embodies the shamanic aspects of Norse/Germanic paganism. By entering into transformative trances, Odin gains prophetic insights and communicates with otherworldly beings.
It is worth noting that Odin's prominence extends beyond Norse mythology into various Germanic cultures. Known as Wƍden in Old English, Wƍdan in Old Saxon, and Wuotan in Old High German, these names reflect the linguistic variations of the god's name throughout the Norse/Germanic world.
Odin, with his manifold attributes and roles, stands as an enigmatic figure, embodying the complexities of Germanic mythology. As the wise ruler, shamanic wanderer, and master of both life and death, Odin remains an enduring symbol of power, wisdom, and transformation in the rich tapestry of Germanic legends.

Sorry my phone's throwing a fit and I can't tell if it got through so here's my question again: Hi, i recently got into sense8 and have almost reached the end of Echoes in our minds crossover which is blowing my mind (honestly for any Stucky and sense8 fans out there read it if you haven't already) and was wondering if you know of any more crossovers? Thanks for all your hard work, I have read SO MANY fics thanks to you ❀❀❀
Aside from the one you’ve already read, I found a few more featuring Stucky. Some are crossovers, others are more AUs. I’ve added a search for crossovers with the MCU as a whole, in case you read other pairings as well.
Echoes In Our Minds by Cristinuke, Nonymos
Steve Rogers is struck by a persistent headache as the dawn rises over DC.
So are—simultaneously—Natasha Romanov in the Muscovite night, James Barnes in the dull grey of a Berlin afternoon, Tony Stark stumbling out of his Afghan cave, Bruce Banner in the crushing heat of the Nevada desert, Clint Barton squinting up at the Vegas lights, Loki Laufeyson under the Scandinavian sun, and Prince T'Challa amidst the West African rainforest.
Surely it’s nothing but an odd coincidence.
To Be (or not to be) Whole Again by xAglow
War ravaged the clusters of those both already born again and those yet to be. Stunted and aimless many of their lights died out completely in the Great Tree, Yggdrasil. Frigga did everything she could, especially when she saw the Sick One, the Soldier and The Woman fight as hard as they were to survive after the death of their other five. They had not been born again, but their loss had still damaged them. They deserved to be whole. It took many years, but Frigga found them a complete cluster.
Now they were ready for the destiny that Fate had been pushing them, her son, and all of Midgard towards.
(*Frigga POV is only in the first chapter. After that it’s hands off omnipresent narrator and into some murky, Gatsby-esk unreliably from our mortal narrators.*)
i feel you on my skin (winter came as a load) by notbucky
Steve knows Bucky has been dead for years now but he can’t explain why he is feeling Bucky holding him so tightly that Steve can almost feel the pain or why sometimes he can hear Bucky talking to him but can’t understand what he is trying to say. Sometimes it almost feels like Bucky still in there.
(or the Sense8 AU but not quite the Sense8 AU.)
One of Many by scatteringmyashes
They’re different, they’ve never met, and they know everything about one another. The Avengers before they’re a team have a bond deeper than any other; this is how it looks.
A Sense8 AU in which you need to know little about Sense8.

I gave up on the Yggdrasil Afghan for now due to yarn issues, and I caved and cast on the jumper I've been wanting to make for myself for 3 years.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
It's the Critical Knit Sweater and I've actually managed to get a dice per day since Sunday (I cast on Saturday and did the collar and short rows).
I suspect it'll need blocking, especially as the neckband won't go over my head if I have my glasses on.

In case you were curious about what 1400 yards of yarn will make.
This is the pattern used; right now the blanket is being held on waste yarn while I look for more of the right color yarn.  It's a worsted weight cotton, knit on US10.5 circulars, and measures about 42"x42".
