AU idea that’s been directly placed in my head: Disassembly drone Khan.

He, Adam (doll’s dad) and Alice are a squad sent to Copper-9 to kill drones. At first everything goes well, but Khan is taking more and more interest in Worker Drone creations. Adam and Alice let him have his fun - until he brings a worker to the spire.

Nori & Yeva have been on the run for a while now. Their memories in shambles, they’ve been wandering from worker group to worker group, spreading warnings of the DDs. It’s gotten to the point they’re seen as wandering prophets, with how exact their predictions on where DDs will strike are. But Nori, ever inquisitive, at one point decides enough running. She wants to see these things for herself.

Khan shows up & starts wrecking shop - until Nori enters the fray. Her Solver lets her stand on equal ground - and manipulate physics in ways Khan finds quite interesting. Eventually, she is taken down, but not killed. Khan flies her body to the spire, leaving Yeva with the rest of the workers.

Adam is wary of the worker at first, but grows indifferent quickly. Another one of Khan’s inventions will no doubt have this worker join the scrap pile like the rest. Alice, however, is livid. She’s pretty possessive of her teammates, and sees this new worker as a threat. But she can’t kill them, lest she upset Khan. At least until she sees the Solver in use. She knows that symbol too well to let it near either of her boys.

Nori is very confused by all this, but the plentiful oil Khan gives her (bc what else would they eat?) has been wonderful for her systems, and she’s been putting most of it towards regaining her memories. This almost goes too far, with Cyn surfacing in her code, but the patch restrains her.

Yeva hasn’t been idle, though. She knows if Nori’s alive - old code they put together back in the lab - so she’s been gathering information and a group to get Nori back from them.

And so on and so forth.

dd khan has always been an interesting concept to me, i think its because we never see him truly violent in the show, yeah we got that ‘kill all humans’ thing but that’s just a lil crumb

khan should be allowed 2 kill more, a little evil, if you will.

I have gained such an appreciation for Yeva as of late, just- LOOK AT HER she's fucking awesome

She's also just so over everybody else's bullshit, she knows the routine by now, and I adore her for it

If Nori got to live, Yeva should've gotten to live as well- and Doll also......whoever hee dad is though can still have died-

I just- Imagine how chaotic it would've been for Yeva to be chaporoning prom, knowing part of her daughters murder plan and just mentally preparing herself for what was about to happen at prom

Meanwhike when V comes she spots Yeva and just looks at her and goes, "wtf, I thought I killed you-" and Yeva, like the badass that she is, just looks at her deadpan, rolls her eyes, and grabs coolant or whatever workers drink to, well, drink it. leaving V completely baffled because 'wtf??'

Whether you want to say Mitchell was an idiot for grabbing the wrong suit or see it as just an honest mistake, he was definitely being a smart character in a horror setting by realizing something was wrong when he saw the Sentinels were gone and thus kept Yeva out of the church as well as say that he couldn't find her. It at least bought him a little more time until the planet partially imploded. :/

Honestly the Murder Drones lore is super confusing. I think what this is trying to say is that every other Zombie Drone is doing poorly, (Except for Yeva), they are trying to reactivate 002 (Nori) via the USB. I'm not sure what this means. Maybe they only got the results they wanted from the two of them, and are trying again with Nori since she was the only other one that worked (also why they got Yeva when she failed; this may all be referring to how the episode opened up) Also, the date says SER. As revealed in the episode Cabin Fever, Copper-9 has months that Earth does not. SER most likely stands for Seramorris, the month revealed in that episode

Cyn (which I will be calling this version Skyn [Skin + Cyn]) apparently took of the space suit just to give Doll the Withered Foxy jumpscare. Honestly really terrifying. If this photo was teased before release I think the fandom would've exploded

The MDs, Cyn's pets. Nori refers to them as "Nerfed" so the "Entity" can ensure control, and says they were made to destroy other hosts. I don't know why Cyn would want them dead, but I'm not the loremaster here. YouTube line is there because I couldn't be bothered after the Railgun image

Probably already confirmed, but doubly confirmed that a symptom of the Solver is giving Drones organic insides. A Worker Drone body with a rib cage and guts. I wonder what would happen if the infection continued uninterrupted (also R.I.P. Doll I loved you :frown:)

I'm sure everyone noticed, but when Uzi tried to manipulate Tessa, the ERROR noticed appeared. Already hinting Tessa is not all she says she is

Apparently the Solver can create Black Hole Saws. Interesting development (Blackhole Blitz)

I know most people (I think) see this as a joke and N just being a bit of goofball. But honestly, I think he did it intentionally to shock Cynuzi and give Nori a chance. In the Pilot, he licked V's sword to surprise her too, which means he isn't unfamiliar with doing something weird and surprising for the advantage

Skyn eating Doll's core. R.I.P. Doll again. Seriously, was that Doll in Core Form like Nori was? Or was Nori a fringe case because she was "Exorcised" and this is just a regular core? Questions, questions. Also yeah the Solver also gives you a Core. Fun

This tag makes me think that this body is Cyn's actual body. Not longer a hologram, but her actual body from the mansion. The reason Tessa gave N, J, and V their names was because that was the first letter of their Serial Designation (she's very uncreative). However, Cyn's tag was slightly faded, which meant her SD couldn't be seen, so Tessa gave her the name "Cyn" after her P/N, even though the other 3 already have the same P/N as Cyn (Tessa, again, is very uncreative)...

...and for some reason, Cyn or the Solver, which ever theory you subscribe to, decided to wear Tessa as a skin suit for some twisted reason. It did help her with the Captcha. Also scary because this doesn't have the right proportions for an adult (unless Cyn really forced that skin on), which leads me to believe that this is a Younger Tessa, and she faked having an older voice. Maybe I shouldn't call her my wife... I'm sure Eldritch J is still available :^)

(Seriously, the eyes are burnt out, leaving two eye holes over the visor, so she gives herself two X eyes so it looks better. Also yeah we found out what that thing on the "It Came From Copper-9" poster came from. It really was Cyn or Skyn)

Just a frame of the final...frame... for coolness. I'm probably also going to use this for a background. Also, this is definitely Copper-9. You can see the ring and ringless moon together on the right. Uzi somehow got sent to orbit after falling in the meat hole

it reminded me of how everything soared in GF, and since MD will also have this, it will be EPIC

also wanted to talk about this shot. saw some people say that someone is being sacrificed here, but my first thought was this: this is the drone that had the most Solver powers (probably Nori) and because they' are're dangerous and so strong, they're restrained with chains. and oil flies around them.. dunno exactly why, but it really reminds me of how in the "Stranger Things" Eleven would bleed when she used her powers, maybe something similar is present here?

ok, this looks terrifying. I can't tell if N will just go into hunting mode for some reason (because of Cyn/Solver?) or if this is a flashback to him possibly killing Nori (since it's similar to the flashback to V killing Doll's parents. everything was red there too, V had a cross on her visor and grin)

is this a video recording of someone using a cross? at first i saw it was someone wearing gloves, so I thought it was Nori or Yeva's hands, but now I'm not sure, so it could be Uzi or Doll

okay now THIS i'm not sure that it's Sentinel's paw

The front paws of the Sentinels have a palm-like base like a drone's with little triangle, with long thin claws. The hind paws are also long and thin. the paw on the left is thicker and has thicker claws. also I have a feeling that there is a torn glove on this paw?.. but what confuses me most is that this paw burn, smoke and glitches were coming from it, just like in this scene with Uzi’s hand from episode 4. I don't think the Sentinals burn in the sun?..

also that paw from the teaser reminds me of the paws on Uzi's wings, so could it be Nori's hand (we don't know how much Solver can change a drone's body, since drones can grow organic wings with it, maybe parts of their bodies can transform?) or Nori's wing?

at first I thought that Doll was fighting with Uzi, since their screenshots were in a row. but it seems Doll has cleavers in her hands and someone is fighting with her with a sword? I don't think Uzi woud use a sword, so maybe it was Tessa. or this is the blade of one of the dissasembly drone. there is also fire behind her, something is burning

Comprehensive breakdown of MURDER DRONES - Episode 7: Mass Destruction

I saw a breakdown of this episode on youtube and it was just clearly rushed so I want to do this episode justice so here's my comprehensive breakdown.

New intro, look at them! They look so happy, that is not the case in the episode, to say the least. With how much rubber hosing this animation has I would not be surprised if this was done by Kevin Temmer Tunes with what he learned from amazing digital circus Edit: N was animated by Micah Preciado and Uzi by Zachary Preciado

Bad day to accidentally grab the wrong uniform, I do wonder where the actual Dr.Chambers was in all this. Wonder if it would have made a difference... probably not.

Not actually important but having the shadows of the claws that aren't actually there be the thing to interact with the world is fucking cool as hell. This whole scene is a cool twist on an exorcism with robots and science.

Like look at this, it's a pentagram magnet, a normal pentagram from my basic pop culture understanding it's meant to not only summon a demon but also keep them from leaving the circle. A strong magnet is so smart for this case as it's used to keep Nori in place, I mean it doesn't end up working in the end but it's the thought that counts.

It took my second watch of this episode to realize why the lights got turned on, it revealed the tentacles and claws but it's sun light, the same stuff that burns the Disassembly Drones and Uzi. It even has the same effect as in the end of Episode 4

Can I just say how extra it is making the USB a crucifix, I love it. Also I just notice that on the end of the crucifix the detailing is actually in the shape of a USB symbol, the details in this show is amazing, you can see all the love that went in to it.

This is probably the most terrifying way to hold these robots. I couldn't blame any of the robots for wanting to kill the human good god. Also Yeva playing Tetris, the game has a lot of ties to Russia so wonder if she spoke Russian too, she doesn't speak in this episode and not sure if we'll get more flashback with her so not sure if we will ever find out.

Not sure why Mitchell stop Yeva from entering the church but I like to think he thought Yeva was like a kid, look at him holding her hand in the scene before, and was trying to keep her save and knew something was off. That being said I'd love to hear what you think is his reasoning, sound off in the comments/reblogs.

Pulling back we can see Nori, specifically her core, looking at a crucifix comparing it to the USB crucifix in the video to see if it's the one with the patch, it's not, so she goes out for the hunt to see if she can find it.

Like daughter, like mother, honestly cool little details that lets us know what kind of character Nori is with the very little time we have with her. Drawing made presumably by her of herself as a human cat girl, twice, motor oil cans everywhere, a fricking ninja star, nightcore music, a anime statue that might be a reference to something but I have no clue, also magnets which have been used in the passed like drugs so that's um... something.

was originally just going to point out the funny little animation errors in this scene, as the paper goes through the Ipod and the crinkled paper is mirrored but then I wanted to check what was on the paper and...

It's a missing poster of all things? it uses the exact posters used in episode 3 it's probably just reusing assets but I thought it was a cool thing to point out.

Uzi bleeds blood in these scenes and it's not necessarily mentioned out loud, clearly something AS related, but there might be more to it, or it just looks cool.

This man is in some serious denial, but credit where credit is due, when "Tessa" tells N to stop he turns around, and when Uzi apologized for not being able to help he immediately apologized for Snapping at her. Also look at Tessa's little pointing, thought it was funny.

N: "We're not going to hurt you."

I can't blame Uzi for taking this the wrong way, he's clearly telling Tessa off but all Uzi hears is "hurt you", hence why she only parrots that part.

Thad: "Aaand you won't tell me why we're wandering around 'cause...?" Lizzy: "I'm a good friend, and secrets are blackmail. And it's not about football." Thad: "Okay. Does your secret friend want to know about football, or...?"

Anyone else wondering who Lizzy's good friend is? The only 2 characters we know are good friends with Lizzy are Doll and V. It's possible that through everything Doll sent a text to Lizzy asking her to do something but I feel like V just makes more sense. This does assume V made her way away from the sentinels, if I had to guess she's just a core at the moment which might be why she couldn't do it herself, no wings nor weapons as a core, also makes the blackmail line make more sense.

N: "I deserve this. I deserve this. I deserve this."

This scene just shows us why Uzi went towards the church. Also note when she's the most stressed her eye turns yellow so it does seem stress is the deciding factor whether she can be possessed.

V/AS: You know, you're one of the main reasons... [voice glitching] ...I wanted your team to retain your personalities.

This quote I think has some interesting implications, I mean it obviously confirms that the DD squad was influence by AS but it might also be why it keeps a bit of the personality of which ever host it's using.

This scene holy shit, the music, the lighting, the sound design and animation, that's how you do horror! You don't even need detailed gore, in fact most of it is just off screen. like look at the DD's off in the distance one catches the pilot of the helicopter mid air then they fight over it like hungry animals.

Ok so I hit the image limit and it's almost 1 in the morning so I'm gonna go to bed and continue this tomorrow

Ok going back on my previous post on how it’s stupid that people argue that nori is a “bad mom”

1. this woman spent, from what we know, HER ENTIRE LIFE being tortured in the name of science by a bunch of cruel humans that clearly did not give two shits how she felt/what pain she processed.

(may i add that we have NO idea what happened to her before the events of the core collapse — but we do get a sense that it was incredibly tragic and villainous)

2. after LITERALLY BEING DEMONICALLY POSSESSED AND MAGIC-NUKING THE PLANET, she finally escapes with, what she assumes, is the ONLY other experimental subject left (yeva). Like… imagine you wake up to… all your friends/acquaintances DEAD around you and you have no recollection of why or how it happened.

3. After successfully escaping and making it to the surface, she falls in love and gets married. and we don’t get ANY information on her and khans past (which, in my opinion, is a major disservice to the show’s worldbuilding/plot. I know ep5 is probably the most hated one in the fandom, so i feel like replacing it with a khan and nori episode and then doing a series of manor flashbacks during episodes 6 and 7 would’ve been more effective — idk thoughts?)

But what I mean to say is that Khan and Uzi were probably the best thing and likely one of the only good things to ever happen to her.

And what happens right after?

Killed by a DD. Basically right after her life really begins, she dies.

4. Somehow, she wakes up AS A CORE, even though both the solver/cyn and Khan think she’s dead. I’m assuming she died well before Uzi could’ve formed any memories of her, but somehow nori knew that the solver passed to her daughter. And so she literally RETURNS TO THE LABS SHE HAD TO ESCAPE FROM (that probably evoked a landslide of traumatic memories) and spends over 10 years digging through the solver’s planet-mosh-pit to find the patch. TO DO WHAT?? SAVE HER KID. She couldn’t have returned because she probably didn’t wanna risk the solver finding out she was still alive.

So like?? Lady was abused, barely got to actually live, was murdered and tragically separated from her husband, somehow cheated death and woke up as (literally) a FRACTION of the person she was before, and STILL PUT HER KID FIRST even if it meant braving the labs, the solver, and all her trauma again.

This is riddled with spoilers so it's under the cut, but here's my theory:

Doll was never in as much danger as she thought she was.

Doll is down in the labs because she wants to cure herself of the Solver. But I don't think she actually even needed to. I think her solver wasn't a threat to her at all (or at least in the way she thinks it is).

The only two Solver users alive to use for reference here are Nori and Yeva, but if you see that list it says that Yeva had a version of the Patch installed. Reasonably speaking, we can assume that she was patched before the core collapse, because if this happened after, why would Nori still be down there looking for it? They would've known where it is cuz Yeva used it.

But:

Yeva still uses her Solver right before the collapse. I think most people are under the assumption that the Patch completely removes the Solver from the host drone, but this doesn't seem to be the case based on this? While I think it's possible the Patch that gets thrown around by Nori in the flashback is a more recent version than the one Yeva has installed, I'd like to propose an alternative idea.

What if the Patch doesn't remove the abilities associated with the Solver at all? What if it just removes the ability for it to possess you?

You'd likely still overheat and need oil to soothe it, as we see with Doll, but Doll never gets possessed by this need on screen like Uzi does. Uzi's murders are all done under direct influence of the Solver, while Doll is very much in control of herself every single time she kills someone.

Yeva passed down a patched version of the Solver to her daughter, but Nori didn't.

But I don't think Doll knows this. I think Doll just assumed she was better at managing this than Uzi was. That needing to drink oil at all was the curse given to them, and needed to be fixed based on that. And then she sees (since she was there at camp) how Uzi lost control and figured that could probably happen to her too.

So she goes down into the labs, trying to find the cure because she fears that same loss of control, and what does she get told by the one who'd be doing the possessing?

Doll can't get possessed. The Solver has no use for a vessel it cannot control. Therefore, all Doll is is someone who could cause problems if she helps cure the others.

Doll had all the benefits and only some of the drawbacks, thought that was because she was just really good with her powers, and then got killed for not having enough information to do proper risk assessment. The moment she decided to go down there she was on the chopping block.
