Yessenia Manzo, 26 (USA 2009)

Dr. Willoughby and Coroner Investigator Lydia Granado-Mata carried out the investigation and autopsy for 26-year-old Yessenia Manzo, who died in the hospital after an abortion. Yessenia had undergone the abortion because of diagnosed fetal anomalies.

According to the coroner’s case report, Yessenia suffered complications of pulmonary hypertension after the abortion. She had a lifelong heart condition that should have been taken into account before approving her for an invasive elective operation. Although the manner of death was given as “natural” (probably because the heart condition had been pre-existing), it was also noted that the abortion was a significant condition contributing to her death.

Other heart patients who died from legal abortions include Barbara May Hoppert, Judy Miller, Joyce Teasley, Carmen Rodriguez, “Blaire Roe,” “Evie Roe,” “Teresa Roe,” “Bree Roe,” “Rita Roe,” “Bonnie Roe,” “Krystyna Roe,” “Valerie Roe,” “Kimberly Roe” and “Georgia Roe.”

El campamento de invierno 2024: El fin de una etapa y el inicio de otra

¡Hola a todos! Hoy quiero contarles sobre el campamento de invierno en la Sede Social de la Cooperativa San Cristóbal, en la Ciudad de Limpio. Un lugar con mucho espacio verde, un bosque en el fondo y un gran quincho que fue el cubil de los lobatos. Los scouts, eligieron un bosque en la entrada del local, y los caminantes se instalaron al costado del predio. Fue una experiencia especial para todos, ya que significó un desafío debido a las bajas temperaturas y el clima inestable, con lluvia y mucho frío.

Salimos temprano el viernes 12 de julio, a las 7 de la mañana, con toda la energía y emoción que caracteriza a nuestro grupo. Al llegar al lugar, nos pusimos manos a la obra para armar nuestras construcciones, lo que nos mantuvo ocupados hasta que se puso el sol (es un decir, porque el clima estuvo nublado todo el día y nos impidió ver el sol). Fue genial ver nuestro rincón listo, sabiendo que tendríamos un lugar para compartir con el equipo.

La primera noche fue súper divertida con una temática de "TikToks", ¡sí, los más graciosos del momento! Cada unidad presentó su actuación, llenando la noche de creatividad y risas, y haciendo que todo el campamento disfrutara de un espectáculo inolvidable.

El sábado, aunque nos sorprendió la lluvia, seguimos adelante con algunos juegos y actividades en equipo. Los equipos Guairá y Yaguarón se mantuvieron unidos y con buen ánimo a pesar del clima.

La lluvia no apagó nuestro espíritu durante el fogón nocturno, que fue uno de los más entretenidos en los que he estado. Estuvo lleno de canciones, actuaciones y muchas risas, fortaleciendo aún más nuestros lazos como grupo. Aunque la lluvia limitó algunas actividades, la noche estuvo llena de buena onda y momentos inolvidables.

El domingo llegó el momento de despedirse, y desmantelamos el campamento con una mezcla de nostalgia y gratitud. Hicimos los pases de unidades, un momento simbólico y emocionante que marcó el fin de una etapa para algunos y el comienzo de otra.

Ceci pasó de la manada a la patrulla Pantera en la tropa, Yessenia se unió a la comunidad de caminantes, y finalmente, Sebastián, Ian y yo pasamos al clan de Rovers.

Este campamento fue un hito inolvidable para mí, no solo por las anécdotas, sino porque marcó el comienzo de un nuevo camino lleno de desafíos y oportunidades en mi camino como scout.

Wizardess Heart Ocs!

(Okay soo technically they’re multifandom but I’m hyperfixated on them in WH so I just drew how I picture them for it :3)

These would be their casual outfits i think????…did i get ridiculously carried away? yeah. as usual.

Anyways here’s some stuff about them:

• They’re rly just a tight-knit group of girls trying to make it through the school year of their magic academy :P

• Měi Líng and Safiya are humans but Lynn is a siren, Yessenia is a nymph, Kajal is fae and Abena…well no one knows what Abena is. She’s never said anything about it and all the girls know not to ask-

• As for their main ships: Měi Líng is w/ Leslie, Kajal is w/ Zeus, Safiya is w/ Elias and Yessenia is w/ Viggo^^ Lynn and Abena don’t have partners as of now

• Měi Líng, Kajal and Abena are Night Class students while Yessenia, Safiya and Lynn are Day Class students

• Kajal and Yessenia are childhood friends! Their families have been close for several centuries, Safiya and Lynn are also childhood friends though their families don’t really know each other too well

• Lynn is royalty! She’s the youngest princess of her kingdom under the sea. Yessenia and Kajal both come from aristocratic families, Měi Líng was raised in a military household, Safiya was raised in a peaceful village and again, no one really knows anything about Abena’s past-

• Also fun thing I wanted to note: Lynn’s fin design thing on her outfit is actually what her tail looks like!! (Shes a siren so she has a mer form skjakak and yeahh)

I can’t think of anything else to blab about as of now😭 Maybe I’ll make a more detailed post for each of them at a later time^^
