Swan,         You have my heart. Both metaphorically and, a few weeks ago, literally. This is a reminder of that, just in case you forget (with this town’s penchant for curses, we need all the help we can get).    One groggy groan and a half-assed attempt to roll over on her side was all Regina offers that morning. Somehow, she'd become tired from sleeping; she is always tired nowadays, though. The little one still growing in her womb seems to suck every ounce of energy out of her, even when she did nothing but work, work, work at her desk.

   And since she had been doing nothing but work, work, work at her desk...she and Emma decided to head off for a week on their own. A vacation; the first one Regina had ever taken in her entire life.

    She'd flown on a plane for the first time, driven a rental car, checked into a hotel, and fallen asleep in a completely unfamiliar bed, snuggled up against her beloved blonde counterpart. Now, she was waking for the first time in that rented room, one hand held across her stomach, and the other in a laced hand hold with Emma.

         " ...sweetheart? You awake? "

of course it had taken the older woman by surprise when the blonde pushed her back onto the wall, the brunette let out a small gasp as the other’s lips fell upon hers. Blue eyes drifted shut and unsure what to do with her hands she opted for placing them on Emma’s waist, letting them linger after she had pulled away.

   There were many things she didn't understand about this world. But the small games on Emma's phone were by far the most confusing. And oddly addicting.

again, i don't think i follow many snow whites but these two are just flawless. i find snows character really fucking annoying. like, i can't really abide her. but with these portrayals, i just ——- my dislike is lost. i can enjoy the character through their writing.

i am so bad with urls and i know that there are more emma's that i really like but for now, have these three babes. they're the amazing duo, i stg. such pleasures to write with.

  earlier that evening, there had been made a few attempts at helping her wife with all the work but just like before, emma was sent back to wait at the table like some goddamn puppy.

    from her spot, she had to watch regina pace the dining room & the kitchen, doing all sorts of things all at once with that look of sheer despair on her face. there was no way in hell emma would just sit and watch without lifting a finger. so there she is, taking advantage of the moment while the brunette busies herself with something entirely else than watching emma. the blonde slides off of her seat and heads straight into the kitchen to grab some of the remaining things for her wife.

            well, that is, until she is caught doing the act.

                  ❛ god dammit, regina. i won’t just sit                    there & watch how you do all the work !                    just chill, this is nothing i can’t handle. ❜

   " Emma, please, I'm fine! " 

    Without thinking, she reaches out and snatches the breadbasket from her wife's hand. It's not that she thinks the blonde is incapable...it's simply that she can't stand the thought of the woman overworking herself in any regard. Their son was on the verge of being born, and Regina would be damned if she let him, or Emma, get hurt because of the simplest things.

      " Give me the sweet potatoes and go sit back down; I promise I'll join you in a minute. You're going to wear yourself out if you keep this up, though! "
