can I just say, I genuinely love working with stories that have a set destination the audience is aware of (and partially why I love tragedies so much), because knowledge does so much inherent work for tension and stakes. You know shit is gonna hit the fan eventually. But when? How? Tune in to find more. :)))

#thoughts #yes this is thrallsposting #we knooow where things lead in the adult timeline we knooow #I am playing a lot with the specific circumstances of when [x event] will eventually happen and for how long we can postpone it #and I have to say this is also incredibly helpful to trick your brain into getting invested in ganondorf's struggles #even if you are set on being hostile towards him #you *know* where this ends so him slipping or overcoming stuff is kind of stressful inherently #which makes you vulnerableeee to my propagandaaaaaa #I had a couple of people --originally neutral-to-hostile towards the Dorf-- watching the first episode #going increasingly >:/ about the proceedings #and questioning their own feelings about them out loud as kind of messy which!!!! :D :D :D #my corrupting influence is taking hold #(I might be even too overt in that regard with the soundtrack for a first episode so I might dial it back some tbh)#(it's a fine line to walk)
