TV Show Writers: give the m|m relationship a Greek level tragedy with absolutely beautiful writing where they are shown to be soulmates "omg I don't understand why everybody ships them. Can't dudes just be bros anymore??"

Also TV Show Writers: set up so much potential for the w|w relationship only to go on and say one of the characters is boring and drop the ball on their character arc and then actively write in things to make the fandom root against the couple "wow we really nailed that. We're giving the gays what they want. We're true allies."

Like why does the m|m relationship you supposedly never meant to be canon have better writing than the w|w relationship you were planning from the beginning? Why do you hate lesbians so much??
