okay so I've been crazy about visual novels recently and put together a list of games I definitely totally recommend.

Yessssss, I really want to reply to every comment I get because I appreciate people taking their time to write them a lot, but sadly I've been super busy this semester and so there are quite a few still waiting to be responded to. But!!! I've seen them, I have and continue to feel over the moon about them and some day you'll all get your replies!

What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?

If we're only talking about the current fandom... none? I don't think I've ever given anything an angst ending. I don't even know if I'd be able to do that with Wilmon

What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

By that logic, all the rest lmao. I think the ending that made me personally most giddy/happy for my blorbos was probably Lavender Haze because the potential, the big feelings that don't have a name yet, the I-really-wanna-see-you-again of it all? Yeah that one feels the happiest.

Do you get hate on fics?

Not usually, no. Although I had one salty anon who apparently thinks writing about characters being attracted to each other qualifies as fetishizing the actors? Lot to unpack there.

I've been told that "filth with feelings" is one of my strengths. Oh and some of my favorite compliments have been ones that said I was good at really getting into a character's (let's be real, it's Wille's) psyche

How long do you have lmao? Idk where to start, hmm. I think I just always question myself and every choice a little too much in general, I have a very weird mix of perfectionism and impatience going on, I start too many new things before old ones are finished, my English isn't as good as it could be, I don't know when to stop rambling...

Thoughts on dialogue in another language?

I really don't see why you wouldn't use it. I think it's a nice little touch, at least I like it a lot on YR fanfic. It needs to make sense of course, but why not have a casual little "nej" somewhere, I think that's fun!

Oh this is difficuuuuult, aaaaah. But tbh I like Lavender Haze and the sequel All this shit is new to me a lot. Those are my sweet, sweet babies, because, I think I've said this before, this is my first multichaptered Wilmon fic that isn't "just" pwalp (=porn with a little plot) and I feel like I get to try myself out a lot with All this shit. I like the process of writing it and as for Lavender Haze, there are just some tiny elements in there that I feel immensely proud of.

Foolish Pretenders Heaven Official's Blessing, Feng Xin/Mu Qing, Rated E Fake dating with added idiocy. Boueibu/One Punch Man crossover, Genos/Saitama, En/Atsushi, Io/Ryuu, Rated T Genos and Saitama get zapped into the Boueibu universe, where they have to fight monsters with the power of love, rather than fists.

Everything else. I show more than I tell.

I love it when other people do it. I'm shit at languages, anything I do is Google Translate which I know is garbage so I try to just do short sentences when I do use it and hope it's not too bad.

My first fic I ever wrote was Penelope Garcia x Derek Morgan for Criminal Minds probably like 20 years ago for a friend. It was pure fluff of Garcia housesitting for Morgan, she baked him cookies for when he got home. That's all I remember.

Update? Status? Why Am I here?

I know I haven't written anything in a while (my apolocheese) I've been going through some SHIT (the ao3 writer curse is real and kicking my ass) I'm just testing the waters right now to see if I would like to keep writing and posting mainly on this account as it was originally to meet other writers and share my shit and just have interactions online. So here's a little poll to see if there is a good amount of people who are still interested in this account lmao. (Thank you to my 30 followers y'all are real ones fr fr)

I know that the COD MW2 posts brought in a lot of y'all but I don't know if I only want to write things because they are popular and get me reblogs and likes. (I'm still going to be doing more MW stuff but mainly for my enjoyment and not for popularity reasons) so there might not be any MW3 stuff for a while.

This whole post is just mainly a motivator to keep writing cuz I have been in a writing slump for a while. I go back and reread your posts occasionally because I really resonate with your posts about Epic Romance that I think transcends some of the tropes fandoms evolve around (e.g. enemies to lovers) which I don't always find myself connnecting with. I am just a bit curious about something:

What do you think of the pairing Solas/Lavellan from Dragon Age? (I searched your blog for it just in case you already spoke on the subject but sorry if I missed it).

I don't know if video games are your thing, or if a Player Character changes the dynamic you're into, but I was curious because it's a mythic romance of quite epic proportions. I know you've mentioned you sort of don't like a blog that is into adjacent ships to it (I think when you discussed Raistlin/Crysania) or maybe I'm just reading into that hahahah, so I understand if that influences if you do/don't. What I like about it beyond the character of Solas is that it's a tragedy with potential for hope ('Our love will endure'), and I think that's something your speed?

Thank you for the ask! Yeah, same. EtL is only rarely written with the dynamic that I like, so most of the popular ships are not for me. I think I've disappointed a lot of fellow travellers by having zero interest in rivalry or frenemies style EtL ships.

I do play games, but I've only played like five minutes of one of the Dragon Age games. I've seen a lot of people talking about Solas and know he's the wank magnet tragic murder boy fav of the franchise, but I haven't gathered much of anything about the ship dynamic. I don't know enough about his arc/characterisation to say whether I'd be interested. But for sure, if there's an element of enduring hope, tragic romance can be my thing (so I read 5437540 fix-it fics).

I'm sorry I really don't have any thoughts to offer either way! :( If I get around to playing the game, I will post any ramblings I have about it!

I'm developing a fic for my long latent and repressed Cosmo/Kathy shipping urges, but that's like a radical departure for me on several levels lmao. Yes, I confess, sometimes I'll ship a couple of wholesome cinnamon rolls who have zero conflict because the banter is spicy and the vibes are adorable.

It's so funny how people are always trying to compare B&tB ships (like Reylo, E/C, etc. with grotesques or tragic heroes) to the Bad Boy/Ingenue/Nice Guy triangle and dismiss redemption romance fans as silly girls who haven't learned their lesson about being attracted to Bad Boys, because any example you can name of a triangle where the love interest is actually a Bad Boy, I ship her with the faithful friend (not a Nice Guy, but a legitimately nice guy). Like, I watched Pretty In Pink a couple years ago and man it was obvious she was not supposed to end up with Blane. I felt so vindicated when I read about the intended ending lol.

But anyway, I've been crying about whouffaldi again lately, re-reading some E/C fics, thinking of fleshing out/finishing some very self-indulgent E/C one-shots I made notes for, still wanting to write that Oh Hyun Jae/Soo Young fic that I accidentally wrote a kind of weird 'humour' prequel too D:, and as always trying to finish my Lokane fic finally. It has 2-3 more chapters, tops, and it's killing me I can't just get it done. It already has its main emotional climax, so I'm not leaving people hanging too bad, but maaaaannn!!! I swore a blood oath with myself I wouldn't start another novel-length fic until it is finished and this has lead to cascade of procrastination where I use it as an excuse not to do other things while also making zero progress with it. Agjkdfhdfd.

Also, I kinda want to add that extra chapter to my Bang-won/Hui Jae fic because I looooooove him and it's such a great pairing and I was pleasantly surprised how well that fic turned out, but it would be hard to justify and thus hard to find an 'ending' for it. It'd just be some 'stuff' pasted on lol.

My dude, I feel you, and I am so sorry you feel this way. I've been thinking about the reading/writing community on here a lot lately too. It really feels like people are accustomed to endless content for absolutely no effort on their part, an algorithm that just hands them things they like over and over and all they have to do is say "yes please."

I try hard to leave comments and reblog fics because I know how exciting those notes are. At the same time, it can feel kind of daunting to be responding to everything I interact with and hoping that it's meaningful and doesn't come across wrong and if it does, it will stand out bc it's one of the few.

Ultimately I try to write what I want to write for myself, so that even if no one else likes it, I still do. That being said, anyone who says you don't need any readership to feel fulfilled as a writer is crazy to me, because why write if not to have someone read it? We're all here looking for interaction, love, don't feel ashamed of that.

I don't have a solution for you, but to you and any of my writer friends, please consider this an open invitation to tag me when you post work or even message me to say you just wrote something and you want it to be read! be real with me. should i read one piece.

On one hand, yes bc I am rly enjoying it and it is one of the best shonens I've ever read. You do have to get past the ugly art (you do get used to it semi early on if thats any condolence) and how the women r drawn well. In a way lmao. I'm only 250 or so chapters in so like my thoughts may change in the future but rn it's smth where I would say yes however I do kinda wanna like give you heads up on a few things that are worth knowing before you start under the cut, discussions of some transmisogynistic content under the cut

So I haven't hit this arc yet (from what I know it starts at ch 523), but there's an arc that basically um. Fits a fair amt of really bad tropes. I'm going to direct you to this WordPress blog that is run by a trans woman and she talks about it in depth (more than I can rn as I haven't gotten there yet) and why it's um. Handled in a pretty bad way. There's also a character that's relatively similar (although tamer in terms of how he is handled) earlier on (introduced ch 129) that is clearly a sort of gender unclear character? And honestly this character could be handled worse and also better but it's also not as bad from what I understand of the latter portrayals of ppl that are GNC. One piece however does get better w trans characters and two of them are handled well (from what I understand) although they got introduced I believe in the 800s or 900s in terms of chapters. But what makes the earlier GNC rep worse is that like. One of the fan favorite characters comes out pretty transphobic towards these characters and in general so it's a heads up I feel is necessary to give (learning this initially made me go um :/ about one piece so it's smth that I do want to give a heads up on)

There's also the rly shitty archetype of man being creepy 2 women who are not interested who coincidentally is ALSO the transphobic character. So like giving u a heads up on that bc its played as a joke but it can be taken a bit too far sometimes and can be uncomfortable. The character does show up pretty early (ch 43) and is a part of the main crew so you do have to deal w him being like *that* pretty often bc it's literally towards any woman he sees.

Onto other things however, there's genuinely a lot of good in it. The women are the best written women I've ever seen in shonen (esp comparing to Naruto and jjba) and that's in spite of the um. Proportions (the post about the author drawing women literally like o><= is pretty famous so p sure you know what I'm talking about). The plot is genuinely very fun and the characters are all well written as well as their relationships and friendships. I genuinely like haven't read anything like this in terms of how genuinely all of the characters in the main group are paid attention to and not ignored in terms of their development. It's the big obstacle of getting over how the art can look at times and how the women in particular are drawn (it starts out not being too bad but like this pic was from maybe ch 180 or so)

^ the proportions are um. So in a way for sure. But I say all of this to say that I think the length and art are pretty daunting of like oh god there's over 1000 chapters/100 volumes but imo like if you're interested in it, it's worth it. If you are like interested in a certain character (ie nami. You would LOVE nami everyone should love nami) I think it's worth it to read to their backstory or to the end of their arc if they're a minor character. Imo if you wanna give it a solid shot, I'd give it at least until like 20 chapters in? If you're invested in nami and wanna stop after her backstory (very emotional will destroy u etc), that's ch 95. I think it is genuinely very good but there r also the issues and problems and stuff! I hope this very long winded post answered your question and if u need more details on stuff I'm here :)

Can i ask for the outcodes and ut/us bros reaction to a scenario in which their s/o gets taken over by i don't know an evil spirit (chara) or xgaster.. just taken over by darkness all together? If that's make sense.

I haven't been in this fandom for like a year (returning to this blog for you guys cause, well, stuff happened, and I'm back!) I'm an idiot who has no idea what outcodes are (I literally never came across that term till this request, lmao, I knew I had no idea what tf it was, haha, I knew I wasn't losing it) I literally looked it up and I hadn't written for them before- so I might just stick to Ut/us with a special little thing to make up for it... Sans- It's not a situation that he wants to be in, he's so worried, however, he has to put all of his worries and concerns aside because he has to fix it. And oh boy, if it's anything like Chara, he's unwilling to take any chances. He will try to get them exorcised, but if it doesn't work and others are in danger, he will do what he has to do, with a heavy soul...

Papyrus- He's going to fight tooth and nail to save his s/o from the evil spirit, however, he is easy to deceive, and the evil knows it. Unfortunately, this would not end well for him, or his s/o. Hopefully, there is another reset to correct things, as unfortunate as that is.

Blue (Underswap Sans)- Surprisingly is going to be able to exorcise the demon. Yes, as strange as it is, he prepared for too many things, even super obscure things like that. It was strange. His s/o doesn't question why the hell Blue learned to do something so strange, but hell, they're thankful that he technically saved their soul.

Stretch (Underswap Papyrus)- Bro, Blue is prepared, strangely enough. So, he just ensures that his brother is safe as he saves you- cause he knows that this is your best chance (seriously, why did Blue learn some of the most obscure things that existed?) His brother learned some super strange things.

Paprika with Ghost Hunting S/o: It worries him, especially when he learned that his s/o can die trying to identify the ghost so that the proper ghost dispatcher team goes to dispel the ghost. The s/o had identified hundreds of ghost, worked with other professionals in the field, and to be truthful, he's surprised that they identify super aggressive ghost. Oh boy, and his s/o better keep it a secret that they had actually died a few times on the job, but hey, being brought back to life is just one of the perks of the ghost hunting job. And yes, the s/o dies a lot to revenants and shades.

Probably outlining? I usually do very intricate outline before writing.

I love all of them for different reasons and just because I only have four, just let me. I promise to make this short

Neither Wine Nor Dine - I love it because it's my first published fic. It's short but I love how everything works in that.

Love in the Dark - This is my first fic. I started writing this wayyy before NWND. And I love it because of its worldbuilding (which I may never write ever again) and how long it is. I spent literal months on this and yes, always going to be so proud of it.

The Money Mark - The first outline is so different from what it turned out at the end. LMAO. This is basically my favourite trope and I love how much everyone loves it (if that makes sense).

Sugar at Night - I read a lot of mafia/crime books (like probably close to a hundred?) and it just seems... fitting. I dreamt about writing a mob book even before I started writing. It has the most flawed characters I've written to date and I love it for that.

Pretty sure like tons of people have done this but let's try.

I've gotten some bad rap for translating the stories. I love SLBP and Tenka and don't want to harm the game in any way, so for now I will err on the side of caution and not translate anything in detail. If or when these stories come to the English app, I will delete my translations. If you guys play or are curious I'll happily talk about it though.

I know my blog has been blocked by many people, so if you reblog definitely consider this. I plan on going through and adding cuts to them + spoiler warnings whenever I have free time. If need be I may just delete them altogether.
