Is Mathey Tissot A Good Watch
Is Mathey-Tissot a Good Watch? A Comprehensive Review
Mathey-Tissot watches are Swiss-made, which inherently speaks to a level of craftsmanship known worldwide. The brand offers both automatic and quartz movements, catering to those who appreciate the complexity of mechanical watches and those who prefer the convenience of quartz.
Mathey-Tissot automatic watches, like the Mathey-Tissot Evasion Automatic, feature intricate self-winding movements that reflect the expertise of Swiss horology. On the other hand, their quartz models, such as the Mathey-Tissot Chronograph, are reliable, low-maintenance, and highly accurate.
One of the best aspects of Mathey-Tissot is the brand's ability to offer a wide variety of designs, ensuring that there’s something for everyone. Whether you're looking for a classic dress watch, a sporty chronograph, or a robust diver’s watch, Mathey-Tissot has you covered.
For example, the Mathey-Tissot Vintage Chronograph showcases timeless design, with a modern twist that appeals to both traditionalists and contemporary watch enthusiasts. Meanwhile, the Mathey-Tissot Diver Automatic offers rugged features and water resistance, perfect for those with an active lifestyle.
Mathey-Tissot Models to Consider
One of the most appealing aspects of Mathey-Tissot watches is their affordability. While Swiss-made watches often come with hefty price tags, Mathey-Tissot offers Swiss quality at a much more accessible price point. This makes the brand an excellent choice for those who want a luxury experience without spending thousands of dollars.
Durability and Performance
In terms of durability, Mathey-Tissot watches are built to last. Many models come with stainless steel cases, scratch-resistant sapphire crystals, and impressive water resistance. The Mathey-Tissot Diver Automatic Blue, for instance, is water-resistant up to 200 meters, making it suitable for diving and other aquatic activities.
The brand’s quartz models are known for their precision, while their automatic watches deliver the intricate craftsmanship that Swiss watches are famous for. Whether you're looking for reliability or aesthetic appeal, Mathey-Tissot manages to balance both effectively.
Customer Reviews and Reputation
Mathey-Tissot has a loyal customer base, and many reviews reflect satisfaction with both the aesthetics and performance of the watches. Watch collectors and casual wearers alike appreciate the brand’s commitment to quality, with many noting that Mathey-Tissot watches offer excellent value for money.
However, because the brand doesn’t have the same marketing presence as other Swiss giants like Rolex or Omega, it remains a hidden gem in the world of horology.
Is Mathey-Tissot a Good Watch?
In short, yes, Mathey-Tissot is a great watch brand, especially for those who want Swiss craftsmanship at an affordable price. With a history rooted in precision and a wide range of models that cater to various tastes, Mathey-Tissot offers timepieces that stand the test of time both in terms of style and performance. Whether you're new to watches or a seasoned collector, you’ll likely find a Mathey-Tissot that suits your needs perfectly.

8 Steps Your Brain Should Be Thinking About Before Buying A Luxury Watch
If you wondering how to choose the perfect luxury watch, then do not worry as this section of the article will solve it all for you. Hence read this segment of the article carefully.
1. Identify Your Style
The first step in choosing the perfect luxury watch is understanding your style. Are you someone who prefers classic elegance, or do you lean toward modern and bold designs?
Identifying your style will help you narrow down the options and focus on watches that complement your wardrobe and lifestyle.
2. Consider the Occasion
When selecting a luxury watch, think about when and where you plan to wear it. Are you looking for an everyday watch, or do you need a statement piece for special occasions?
The best luxury watches offer versatility, but some are specifically designed for certain events or activities.
For example, if you’re an avid diver, a watch with high water resistance and a robust build like the Omega Seamaster might be ideal. For black-tie events, a dress watch with a slim profile and understated elegance would be more appropriate.
3. Understand the Key Features
A luxury watch is an investment, so it’s important to understand the features that set them apart from standard timepieces.
This includes the movement (mechanical, automatic, or quartz), materials (such as stainless steel, gold, or platinum), and additional complications (like chronographs or moon phases). Understanding these features will help you in how to choose the perfect luxury watch that suits your needs and preferences.
For example, if you value precision and low maintenance, a quartz movement might be preferable. However, if you appreciate craftsmanship and tradition, a mechanical or automatic movement would be more suitable.
4. Explore Unisex Watches
In recent years, unisex watches have gained popularity for their versatile appeal. These timepieces blend the best of both worlds, offering designs that can be worn by anyone, regardless of gender.
If you’re looking for a watch that can transition seamlessly between different looks, consider exploring unisex watches.
5. Set a Budget
Luxury watches come in a wide range of prices, so it’s important to set a budget before you start shopping. Your budget will not only help narrow down your options but also ensure that you’re making a financially sound decision.
Remember, the best luxury watches are not necessarily the most expensive ones but are those that provide value for money in terms of quality, design, and longevity. This should be one of the top things in your luxury watch buying guide.
6. Research Brands and Models
Once you’ve identified your style, considered the occasion, and set a budget, it’s time to research specific brands and models. The luxury watch market is vast, with each brand offering its unique strengths and heritage.
Take the time to explore different brands and their signature models to find the one that resonates with you.
7. Try Before You Buy
While online shopping is convenient, nothing beats the experience of trying on a watch in person. Visiting a luxury watch boutique allows you to see how the watch looks and feels on your wrist. Pay attention to the size, weight, and comfort of the watch.
Does it sit well on your wrist? Is it too bulky or too small? Trying on different watches will help you determine which one suits you best.
8. Think About Long-Term Value
A luxury watch is not just a purchase; it’s an investment. Some watches appreciate over time, making them a smart financial decision.
Conclusion
Choosing the perfect luxury watch is a deeply personal decision that transcends mere aesthetics, as it involves selecting a timepiece that resonates with your identity and narrative. It’s not just about finding a watch that looks good, but about choosing one that harmonizes with your lifestyle and speaks to who you are.
By taking the time to understand your style, whether it's classic, modern, or somewhere in between, you ensure that the watch you choose will be a seamless extension of your personality.
Considering the occasion for which you’ll wear the watch is equally important; a timepiece for daily wear might differ significantly from one reserved for special events. Thoroughly researching your options is crucial, as it allows you to explore various brands, models, and features that align with your needs.
Whether you’re drawn to unisex watches for their versatility or are delving into this luxury watch buying guide for expert advice, it’s essential to remember that the best luxury watches are those that not only tell time but also tell your story.
These watches reflect your individuality, embodying a timeless quality that stands the test of time, both in terms of durability and the lasting impression they leave.

Tips for Buying an Affordable Omega Watch
So, you’ve decided to embark on the exciting journey of becoming an Omega watch collector. Congratulations! But wait, before you dive headfirst into the world of luxury timepieces, there are a few key tips you should keep in mind.
Don’t worry, I’ve got you covered!
First and foremost, let’s talk about your budget. We all have limits unless you’re a Saudi prince or a tech billionaire. It’s essential to set a sensible budget for your Omega watch. A budget will help you narrow down your options and prevent you from spending your life savings on a shiny piece of wrist candy. Now that you’ve got your budget squared away, it’s time to move on to authenticity and condition. When it comes to luxury watches, fakes are as common as a Kardashian selfie. To avoid being duped, do your research and only buy from reputable sellers. Take a close look at the watch’s condition too. Scratches and dings might give it character, but you want to make sure it’s still ticking like the well oiled machine it’s supposed to be. Last but not least, consider exploring the world of pre owned Omega watches. Sure, a brand new model may be tempting, but pre owned pieces can offer incredible value for money. Plus, they often come with interesting stories and a bit of vintage charm. You never know, you might just end up with a horological gem that’s been around longer than your grandparents. Remember, my aspiring watch aficionado, these tips are here to guide you on your quest for an affordable Omega timepiece. Trust your instincts, do your due diligence, and above all, enjoy the ride. Ceridian meeting the Omega👀half of them would swoon over him I know that lol
I mean…you ain’t wrong 😂😂
———————
“Sooooo,” Colin looks at Jai, “Remind me who we’re meeting?”
The speedster scrolls through his phone—social media or research article? Hard to say sometimes— before looking up, “Ceridian. Well, our universe’s Ceridian. He’s the son of Dad’s friend, Garth.”
“He’s Atlantean, right? Like Artur?” Colin says it casually, but a knowing look passes between him and his girlfriend. Lian reaches over, smacking him with her paperback. “What?!”
“Off limits, Bi-panic—”
“Excuse me, Jon currently holds that title—”
“Hey!” Jon glares at them, cheeks red. He and Mar’i had been leaning against the rails, watching the waves crash along the rocky shore. While there aren’t any people around, they still have to readjust to the noise. At least enough to hear their teammates shittalk. “It was one time! And you asked infront of my mom!”
“You still never answered the question!” Lian teases, “I don’t see how hard it is to choose someone else on the team to date—“
Walking back from the end of the dock, Damian’s hand in hers, Irey coughs before shooting Lian a look. The archer pretends not to notice. Jai notices and shoots a look back, “Yes, Iris Anne?”
“Jai Bartholomew, tell your girlfriend about stones and glasshouses.”
Mar’i snorts and slides her hand into Jon’s. The simple silver diadem across her brow compliments her impossible green eyes and dark curls. In her favorite, simple dress and flats, a passerby would think she’s a normal teenager…unless they knew that diadem isn’t an accessory. No, it is a physical reminder of her place, her role, her responsibilities….and Mar’i holds her head high.
Lian dramatically sighs, getting between the bickering twins, “Anyway, last time we saw Ceridian, we were 7 years old, way before Mar’i ever showed up. He was this scrawny kid, great swimmer, very gullible—“
“What did you do?” Milagro asks.
Before Lian can answer, Jon looks up. He nods to the water in front of them, “Here they come.”
Two blurs beneath the surface race toward the dock, then launch into the air. Wood groans as the teenage boys straighten. Both look to be about their age, sea water dripping down their suits. Not unlike a diver’s suit, the fabric hugs their bodies, even more dripping wet.
The first, with a trident in his grip, is a handsome young man, damp curls closer to brown than golden, sea green eyes taking scanning the area. Prince Artur, Heir to the Atlantiean throne. His golden-orange top remind them of his father’s suit, but patterns peak through the fabric. Letters? Ruins? Magical wards? With the trident in his hand, he looks every bit the ruler he’s destined to be.
The other young man shakes his dark hair, pushing it behind his ears. Like Mar’i, his eyes are a pupil-less, though pitch black. Though he’s fairer than the Prince, dark blue top making him seem paler, when he stretches, muscles ripple down his arms and back. When he takes a deep breath, the gills on his neck flutter.
“Mierda,” Milagro murmurs, Colin nodding in agreement. Jon’s gotten very interested in his shoes, blushing. None of the others move.
It’s Mar’i who moves first. Waking towards the two, she cups her hand, pressing the side of her palm to her chest, then out to them. A Tamaranean greeting of respect she once called it. “Prince Artur. I trust the seas were calm.”
“The gods favored us today, Princess.” The golden haired boy presses the back of his fist to his forehead, the Atlantean equivalent to Mar’i’s gesture. They don’t Royal kids, dude. Artur gestures to his companion, “I don’t believe you know my second in command, Ceridian.”
Another exchange of respectfully gestures, then Ceridian tilts his head, taking in the beauty. Like he’s trying to place her in his memory, until finally saying, “You’re Koriand’r and Dick’s daughter.”
“That obvious?” She laughs with him, “I’m sorry we couldn’t meet sooner. I didn’t come to Earth until I was 7.”
“After your mother passed, which I’m sorry to hear. My father speaks highly of both your parents.”
“Thank you.” Mar’i straightens at that, head held higher. “My father talks about yours the same. I’m shocked it took us this long to meet.”
“I haven’t been to the surface in years. My studies and duties kept me busy. It’s not an easy task protecting this royal dunce.” Ceridian grins at the Prince. Artur scratches his face, not so subtly flipping him off. Pupil-less eyes drift over to the group approaching them. A smile plays on Ceridian’s lips, “Jai West. See you haven’t blown yourself up.”
“Is that anyway to greet an old friend?” Jai scoffs, hugging the teen. “Puberty hit you hard too, huh?”
“I take it Lian was talking about how scrawny we were as children?”
The archer snorts, hugging Ceridian, “you remembered me!”
“Hard to forget the girl who’s fish cuss worse than her.” Ceridian grins at Lian. His eyes soften at the redhead beside her, “Hey, Ires.”
“Hey, Ceridian.” Irey smiles quickly, blush spreading across her face as they hug. Oh, there’s a story there, but Mar’i doesn’t register it.
“I don’t think you got to meet the others?” Mar’i holds her hand out to the other four. Greetings and introductions go quick. Damian shakes Ceridian’s hand, a death grip on the Atlatieans hand.
“Ooo, Jealous Damian.” Lian teases. Irey turns red again, smacking the archer’s arm.
“Back to the tower?” Mar’i suggests, “Maxine should be there when we arrive.”
“Who’s Maxine?” Artur asks, using the trident as a walking stick.
“And is she single? The Queen is desperate to have her son betrothed—“ Ceridian snickers, jumping out of the prince’s reach.
“I could have you exiled—“
Lian shakes her head dramatically and sighs, “Will the royal children ever think of a better threat than exile?”
Artur and Mar’i exchange a look, then nod, speaking in unison, “Talking to you.”
“HEY!”

Watching Omega seeing dirt and grass for the first time, made me think about child Anakin, when finally things slowed down after Naboo, in his first mission with Obi-Wan on a planet full of woods and forests. How flabbergasted he was, watching a whole different planet from Tatooine, with rain, rivers, oceans! And how funny and warming was for Obi-Wan watch this child expressing so much wonder, for things he took for granted. IT made him watch things from a new perspective, like when he had to teach Anakin on how to take a full shower, and even a bath, without worrying about the waste of water on Coruscant, because there was plenty, and how scared the boy was during his first thunderstorm, to the point that he spent the whole night in his bed, flinching and grabbing him for dear life at each thunder, like a scared puppy. And the revolving seasons, still present on Coruscant, despite being almost entirely turned into a whole city,
Coruscant itself was a wonderful and unbelievable place for Anakin, he loved all the technology he saw around the city and was absolutely amazed by the little things that even a jedi could have in his quarter at the jedi temple. All those droids making small tasks, like food delivery, repairings, even a DISHWASHER, he never saw one, even the hutts had slaves for that task on Tatooine.
And what about whole planets with water? When Obi-Wan and Anakin first went to a planet inhabited by mon calamari and nautolans, Anakin was almost frightened. He had problems learning to swim, at the temple, and Kit Fisto helped him overcome his fear of deep water by teaching him how to breath through that device that in SW doubles for a whole submarine gears for divers, and introduced him to some amphibian padawans, but a planet covered for a large part of water? inhabited by those gigantic fishes?? it didn’t matter that Obi-Wan kept correcting him that they were mammals, they were HUGE and jumped out of water without warning, and kid Anakin was so scared, but Obi-Wan, always incredibly good with animals, asked one of them to come near with the Force, to say hello and greeted them with a tall fountain of water from his back. All the cultures they found underwater where beautiful and enchanted, and some of this creatures singed with heavenly voices, capable to make you forget who you are and what you are doing.
Anakin was mesmerized by tall mountains, covered by forests and with large rivers, and his first cascade? Oh, he was speechless, Obi-Wan waited for him to talk again for a whole afternoon, so much Anakin was transfixed by that large cascade of water, a tourist attraction for all the visitors on Alderaan. It was so wide that there was a tour to fly over them that was one hour long, see it all and come back, and so many animals! With fur, gentle herbivores with wide and gentle eyes and horns that accepted food from his hands, and birds. Flying birds, singing in the woods with enchanting voices, and the Force was so full of peace and light, in those forests that Anakin almost wanted to stay there forever, just to disappear into that peace. That when he started to meditate more often in the gardnes of the temple, expecially the hall of Thousands Fountains, because it remindend him so much of those incredible forests, with all the small animals that jedi kept in there. And he was so envious of the ease of Obi-Wan with animals, He wasn’t so good because a part of him kept feelings of fear, because on Tatooine, every kind of animal that wasn’t tamed was trying to kill you, so he had to learn new skills around animals, but was never at ease like his master. Ob-Wan once told him that he was even considering to became an animal healer, in his youth, before becoming Qui-Gon padawan.
Snow. The first time Anakin saw snow from the ship that was bringint them to that planet he thought it was some kind of white sand, and shivered in disgust. When he saw all the clothes that Obi-Wan was preparing for them to wear before landing he laughed, but when Obi-Wan explained that that was water turned into crystals of ice from the cold he could hardly believe that. Until he touched it, and the cold almost hurt his hand, and he kept making small clouds of breath until his head started spinning, and he fell into his master arms. He didn’t like the cold, and the sensation of damp in his boots, but boy he enjoyed playing with snowballs, oh yes.

The Lone Wolf Survives, Part 3
[Read on AO3]
Written for @leewritingrecs in honor of her birthday! Well, actually, she gave me a nice long list of candidates, we put them on a wheel of fortune and chose that...and then I realized that one of the fics on her list was this one, and that @bubblesthemonsterartist would murder not only me but both of us if we elected to pick anything but that. So, in order to preserve our lives...ENJOY
The wait for a carriage has never seemed so interminably long.
Obi is heavy. Being a good half-head shorter at least-- and the most prone to trouble-- Shirayuki has never had the occasion to notice, but now that she’s the one responsible for fleeing the scene, it’s all she can think of. It’s a miracle they make it outside; one only achieved by his astounding ability to move under his own power even while hardly conscious. He leans on her, enough that her bones creak in her ear, but with her soft directions, he gets himself all the way out the door and down the stone steps before promptly collapsing on top of her.
Or well, not collapsing, more...becoming her coat. She can’t quite complain about it; there was certainly no time to stop off at the check on the way out. It is, however...distracting.
His musk rolls off of him in thick, heady waves, and oh, she understands why he hid it-- how could he not when even her own beta knees quiver at the scent? Even now she longs to wrap herself in it, to let woodsmoke and spice wash over her until it smothers her own. If an omega smelt him like this--
A soft growl breaks through the still air. Shirayuki’s shocked to find that it’s hers.
A footman lifts his head, alarm carefully concealed. “May I assist you, alpha?”
“No!”
It comes out much harsher than she means, but it’s hard enough to keep her cover normally, let alone while Obi has his nose pressed so tightly against her neck. It’s torturous how slowly he fills his lungs, and how quickly his breath scatters across her skin, sending shivers skittering down her spine.
“I mean, the carriage,” she tries again, embarrassingly breathless. “When is it coming?”
“Ah.” he squints out in the distance. “Just now, alpha.” His gaze lingers on the man plastered to her back. “Will you need help, ah...?”
“Um, no!” If an alpha in rut is trouble for her, the last thing she needs is an omega over here, making everything even more complicated. “He’s just...”
Inside, the servants had been drugged, docile; easy prey for alphas with particular tastes. But the men out here are bright-eyed and cogent, and-- and she can’t tell which is more unlikely: that these men would know of the goings-on inside and abandon their companions to it; or that they remained wholly obviously.
“...Drunk,” she settles on, lamely.
The footman nods, too knowing. “Of course, alpha. The lords who imbibe too much are often able to...ah...rally when it comes time to leave. Especially if they have--” he coughs, suddenly red-faced-- “ah...company.”
Shirayuki does not think he means that of friends, or even, graciously, a wife. Considering how...affectionately Obi is pressed to her, she can’t blame him for the assumption of their...affiliation. “I...see.”
He’s too busy pointedly not looking at her to see her flush. Instead he leans his head around the marble wolf guarding the stairs, staring down the darkened road.
When he gasps, it is with palpable relief. “Ah! It’s here. You carriage, alpha.”
She catches a glimpse of it, black lacquer shimmering in the night, and breathes easier.
“Good.” Obi insinuates his nose directly under her ear, driving up the octave of her ensuing, “Great!”
The footman still can’t bring himself to meet her eye; a boon, since she might otherwise have to explain the flush creeping up her neck, tenacious as any ivy. She idles, back settling into a subtle ache, a counterpoint to the one growing ever sharper between her legs. The carriage can’t be more than a moment away, the clip and clop of the horses’ hooves echoing ever closer, but still, Shirayuki shivers. If Obi were to rut, right here, right now--
Well, it wouldn’t matter how near the carriage came. The damage would already be done.
His fingers flex around her shoulders, dragging her close, his breath deepening until his mouth is practically pressed to her pulse--
And then the carriage draws up at their feet, unmarked and unknown. She squints up at the diver, trying to make out the features beneath his elegant tricorner, but it’s no good-- she had never taken a close look in the first place. The men who accompanied them were not from the palace or Lillias, but Oriold, sworn to Eisetsu himself, and she--
Well, she had been too busy to note them. The footman hurries to open the door, revealing the bleak, dark cab within, and oh, it would be so easy to arrange for two guests to leave and never be found again.
Shirayuki shies as they set the step in front of her. Obi would have remembered the driver’s face, his name-- and probably the names of all his children. But that does her no good when Obi--
Obi bolts upright, tearing himself from her side with a groan, and flings himself into the dim.
Shirayuki blinks. Well. That certainly makes the decision easy. She lifts her skirts, steeling herself with every step.
If only this ride promised to be so uneventful.
Obi is silent.
His musk hangs heavy in the air, rolling off of him in waves that ebb one moment and rage the next. Even to her beta nose, it’s pungent. It settles against her skin, pressing close as a lover, enveloping her, and yet--
There’s not one peep from him. Only a shadow, curled in on itself, pressed as far into the corner as a man his size can manage.
Shirayuki shifts in her own, the cushion beneath her creaking. Even with all her years in the pharmacy, her knowledge about-- about all this is theoretical, things she’s only read in treatise or, worse yet, taught only as emergency measures. An alpha’s rut simply does not happen in a civilized world, save behind closed doors, between two consenting parties. Or entirely by accident with a newly blooded omega, fresh in their first heat, in which case--
In which case, she knows at least four methods of incapacitation. But what she doesn’t understand...
Ah, well, the omega reaction is well-researched; a whole section of the university’s library is dedicated to treatises and refutations on that exact subject, like a collective argument held over hundreds of years. But a beta-- well, there’s no literature to explain why her skin has shrunk two times too small, or why her heart flutters in a breathless tattoo beneath her breast, or why with each breath, the heat between her thighs builds, threatening to drip right down her--
“We need to open a window.”
They’re hardly words, more like a groan given form, and Shirayuki startles. It’s hard to make out Obi’s form-- black hair and dress blacks makes a poor contrast against the dark of night-- but what she sees is turned away from her, every line tense, tortured.
“Please,” he manages, clearer.
Shirayuki blinks, mouth gaping as his plea settles between them, and-- ah, yes, a plea, meaning he’s asking her her to--
“Do you feel ill?” She’s all movement now, hands fluttering above her lap, unsure where to reach, whether she should call for the driver to stop. “Would you--? Should I--?”
“No.” It’s little more than a grunt, dislodged from deep in his chest. “I can...” He hesitates, breath rasping in the silence. “I can smell you.”
She crosses her legs, knee over knee, cheeks burning. “Oh! I--”
He laughs, and oh, that-- that’s not helping, the friction of her thighs and the caress of his voice-- “That’s not helping, Miss.”
The air leaves her in a huff. Short of stopping to wash all of-- of herself off herself, she can’t imagine what he thinks she can do. She isn’t the one with the alpha nose in this carriage. “Then tell me something that will!”
Silence falls between them, but it’s different this time. Not a lack meant to put a gulf between them, but a stillness, a hesitation. A moment before movement.
“Obi,” she sighs, and oh, it would be easier if it sounded more exasperated and less excited. “I want to-- to help. I can’t watch you suffer. Please.”
There’s too much pleading in her voice, too much whimper, and Obi--
Obi growls. Soft, a warning. “Don’t say that.”
Her mouth purses, annoyance spiking through the drone of her arousal. “Why? I don’t think it’s too much to ask that you--?”
“I want to take care of you,” he snaps, every word torn from the storm that brews in his chest. “That’s why.”
She stares, agape. “What does that have to do with--?”
“That’s what alphas like.” His voice rumbles from a register that makes her skin shiver, that makes staring at the floor beneath her a safer prospect than tracing his shadow in the dark. “Good alphas. We want to take care of our--” he swallows a word with an audible gulp-- “people.”
“Ah...” Her breath ebbs shallowly in her chest, hardly more controlled than a pant. “You want to...for me...?”
“I would do anything for you.”
She expects the words to be muffled, to be hesitant, a promise that he isn’t comfortable keeping, but instead-- instead her eyes snap up, and in the darkness, two gold coins stare back, unwavering.
“I would too.” It would be easier to speak if her heart wasn’t fluttering so madly at the base of her throat, if the scent of spice wasn’t so thick in her mouth, but still-- she manages, every word earnest. “But you have to tell me what to do.”
A noise rumbles from his throat, more laugh than a growl. Progress, at least. Shirayuki’s shoulders ease from her ears; she hadn’t even felt them raise, hadn’t even realized how tense she’d become. The danger isn’t over, but at least now he’s able to listen to rea--
“You could sit next to me.”
Her shoulder snap back up, bone brushing lobe. They aren’t touching, but never has a carriage felt so small, so stifling. “Sit...next to you?”
Obi’s scent has never been intrusive, only a faint sniff when she stood close-- she should have known it wasn’t his own, just from that-- but now smoke and spice envelops her, inescapable. He’s on a knife’s edge, about to rut, and now he’s asking her to come closer, to let her own scent tease him--
“I would feel better if I could keep you close.” He coughs, the outline of his back rounding in the dim. “It would help if I could...feel you were safe.”
Shirayuki’s fingers spread her lap, suddenly boneless. I couldn’t keep you safe, he’d said so long ago, beneath a tree twice the size of either of them. Smoke and sea clung thickly to his clothes, trembling against the dawn, and she’d thought there was something strange then, something more than an omega’s submission.
Silk slips between her fingers as she stands. “All right.”
His eyes are wide, disbelieving as she crosses the gulf between them. A good hand’s breadth remains on the bench when she settles, but it’s a small concession to ease his mind. A good compromise between his alpha anxiety and the threat of his rut; he might think it too close, but--
“Closer.”
She blinks. “I’m sorry?”
“I want you closer.” She’s near enough to see him, to see the way he stares down at his lap like he can’t believe he’s still speaking. “It would really be best if you...”
He bites his lip hard. Oh, that won’t do at all. “If I...?”
Those gold eyes cut toward her, pleading for mercy with every flutter of his lashes. “If you were...in my lap...”
Her jaw drops, agog. “You want me...in...?”
Shirayuki is no omega; she can’t suddenly go into a heat and drive him into a frenzy, but surely...
Well, if his rut has gotten her so bothered, it can’t be out of the realm of possibility that her scent, so close, so strong, could make him--
“I would feel nice to hold you,” he admits hesitantly, shoulders rounding shyly. “And maybe smell you.”
Medically, she’s opposed. All the literature agrees: an uncontrolled rut renders an alpha incapable of thought, all of their instincts bent on reproduction over reason, and to put herself in arm’s reach of a man under it’s thrall-- well, Lata would certainly have some unkind things to say about her own reasoning, should nature take its course.
But there’s no treatise on a situation like this: an alpha drugged into a rut and a beta incapable of sustaining it. He’d clung to her like cloak outside the manor, nose pressed tight behind her ear and breathing deep, and as far as she could tell, it calmed him.
“All right,” she decides, once again, and stands, gathering her skirts around her before she drops herself unceremoniously onto his thighs.
She expects hesitation, for Obi to start protesting his own request now that it’s been done, but instead--
Instead his arms wrap tight around her waist, drawing her back. Back, until her spine aligns with his sternum, every part of her touching every part of him. Having gotten her exactly as he wanted her, Obi drops his head, presses his nose to the divot behind her ear, and breathes.
Shirayuki can’t help the smirk that teases her lips. “I thought you were hot?”
His exhale is half-groan, half-question. “Why?”
She arches an eyebrow he cannot possibly see. “Weren’t you the one who asked to open a window?”
“Not because I was hot,” he murmurs, lips brushing against her skin. She swivels her neck to suppress a shiver, but he follows her, pulling her even closer. “Because I could smell you.”
A laugh bubbles out of her, incredulous. “And you don’t now?”
He growls against her throat, but it’s playful, the sort she’s used to from when Kirito and the other pups rope them into their games. “It’s different.”
Shirayuki huffs, smiling as she settles against him. “Oh, it is, alpha?”
His lips curl; she feels every inch of it against her skin. “Are you sure you’re a beta? I thought you were supposed to feel a natural deference--”
“Oh, that was disproved long ago,” she informs him loftily, “the new theory is that betas have to be properly trained into submission.”
“Oh, so the problem is that I haven’t done my job?” His hands burn hotly against her stomach, a distraction from the way his chest rumbles soothingly behind her. “I’ve let you had too much of a lead--”
“I think, technically, it’s Izana who should have taught me to come to heel,” she explains. “Traditionally, at least.”
“Now that,” Obi lilts, more like his usual self, “I would pay to see. Just what does this entail?”
“Oh, the usual.” She waves a hand, hoping he can’t see the way it trembles. “Inviting me places and leaving me there until he returns--” already done, she realizes with no little dismay-- “eating off my plate--” sure to come, if she was ever invited to dinner-- “nipping me--”
Teeth prick her, a playful puppy bite, and she should laugh, she should wave him off, but--
Heat floods between her legs, so liquid and heavy she nearly yelps. But that’s not the sound that’s wrung from her, oh no; that’s lower, throatier. A new scent blooms in the air, nearly blotting out Obi’s and-- it’s hers. Not her normal beta musk, no, but something sultry and sweet, coating her tongue as thickly as the slick that coats her thighs.
And still, she has enough blood to fuel a blush from forehead to chest. A thing to note for later, if she can bear to put this whole predicament to page.
Shirayuki springs to her feet with a weak laugh. “I should open that--”
Obi’s arm catches around her waist, lifting her off her feet with a firm yank, gathering her tight against him.
“I’m sorry,” he pants, the scent of his sweat stinging her nose. “Did you-- are you--?”
She squirms against him, blush burning so bright she’s half afraid she’ll glow. “It’s just-- it’s hot in here, isn’t it? I should really open the--”
Shirayuki makes to stand again, but this time she hardly moves an inch, his arm an iron band across her hips. His nose drags down her neck, pimpling her skin with gooseflesh in its wake, and with slow, agonizing intention, he bites her again.
There’s no use pretending now, not when her moan rattles the carriage, that liquid heat rolling out of her on a wave and saturating the air anew.
“Oh,” he hums, breath tickling her skin to shivers. “You like that, Miss.”
“I...” She’s the one panting now, fingers clenched around his wrists, heart pounding hard in her chest. “I...”
“You know.” Obi’s chest rumbles as he speaks, hands smoothing over the silk of her skirt. “I think I mentioned that alphas like to take care of their mates, Miss.”
It’s alarming how quick her body is to react to the word, every inch of her suddenly flushed and sweating, and-- and needy.
“Ah!” His legs widen beneath hers, just enough for her to feel his cock hard against his thigh. She swallows, hoping the sound isn’t audible. “I don’t think...you said it in quite that way.”
“It’s what I meant.” His hands gently arrange her thighs over his, her slippers dangling above the floor on either side. Even covered by her skirts, her scent grows thicker, more pronounced. “And it seems like you might...need taking care of.”
Long fingers clench in silk, edging her hem up, just enough to kiss her ankles. A question. Or maybe more like an invitation. “Ah-haah?”
“It might be soothing,” he hums, silk whispering up her shins, edging delicately over her knees, “if I could help you.”
“H-help me?” Her breath rasps shallowly in her chest, and oh, how she wishes she could squeeze her thighs shut, if only so that she might ease the way she aches. “What do you--?”
Shirayuki bites back a gasp as Obi slouches, boots hooked on the bench across from them. She tumbles with him, her spine curled in parallel with his, her legs--
Ah, at this angle, they’re spread indecently wide. Gravity finishes the work his hands won’t, her skirt tumbling down to the tops of her thighs. She whimpers as her slick heat is bared, the sweltering air caressing her folds, and her scent, her scent--
It’s everywhere.
“Obi.” She’s too aware of his hands, of how they’re hovering above her, not daring to touch. They tremble, the heat of his skin teasing the heat of hers. It’s both too much and not enough at all.
“To come.” His palms settle on the soft flesh of her thighs and burn.
Oh, oh. Long fingers trace swirling constellations between the sparse freckles of her thighs, edging ever closer to where her scent is thickest, to where she aches.
They dance down to the crease, sliding over the slickness there, coming so close to where she needs him. And then...hesitate.
“You want to.” Every muscle is tense beneath her, coiled with desperate anticipation. He’s at the edge of reason, but he’ll be his own collar, his own master, if she makes him. It is a question, and she is the only one who can say yes.
It makes her answer easy.
“Yes,” she moans, guiding his hand between her legs. Guiding it to where her cunt is practically dripping for him, clenching around nothing. “Please.”
He doesn’t need any more encouragement. With a pained groan, his fingers slip between hers, tracing over her folds as gently as he had her thighs. They slide across with an ease that makes her flush, dipping into her entrance with a squelch, and oh, she could burn up right there on the spot--
“Fuck.” His breath is ragged in her ear, his other hand flexing at her hip. He drags her against him, his cock rubbing against the round of her ass. “I didn’t-- you’re so wet--”
“Your scent,” she confirms, turning her head to get a stronger whiff of it, drowning out the embarrassment of her own. “Since I smelled it, I-- you--”
His fingers clench hard on her hip. “Mine?”
“Mm.” It’s hard to speak when he’s teasing her between her legs, skating up to brush her clit before dipping down to taste the nectar of what lies deeper. “I--” she whimpers as his finger sweep around where she aches, so empty-- “it smells so good.”
His breath rushes out of him on a rasp. “Miss,” he whines, “can I...?”
His fingers hesitate, right at her slit, so slick with her, and she--
She whimpers, hips bucking up, sliding him all the way to the last knuckle.
“Fuck, Miss,” he breathes, and then she can hardly hear anything at all. Nothing besides the way her cunt clutches at him, making the most embarrassingly slick noises as he plunges his fingers into her, thumb rubbing gently at her clit.
“Ah...” He stills, shifting beneath her. She whines, mortifyingly desperate, but it’s hard to care when it makes him growl, “Just-- I need a moment.”
His hand leaves her hip, knuckles poking into her back. It takes her a moment too long to realize that he’s pulling at the fall of his trousers, that the space he puts between them is to free his cock. With a quick jerk, that’s what he does, a heavy weight tamping against her backside
She should be shocked. Yes, it’s hardly the first she’s witnessed in her line of work, and with the way she’s angled she isn’t actually seeing it at all, but it’s the first that has been hard, an erect length that is meant to--
Well, that is meant for her. Her heart pounds louder in her ears, the cold drip of anxiety warring with the heat of desire. Obi reaches for her again, and she expected him to lift her, to pull her right over him and take her, as an alpha should.
But instead he sighs, guiding her back against him, trapping the rigid length between the small of her back and his stomach. A pang of disappointment confusingly stabs between her legs, ache growing ever more present, and then--
Then his fingers slide against her again, teasing her slit, and oh, the sensation twice as intense for the wait.
“Did you...?” she manages, turning her head into his shoulder. A safer question than the one that begins with are you, or won’t you.
“Ah.” He twitches hard against her back; it sends enough heat through her that it blooms in the air again, making them both groan. “Yeah, I...it was getting...uncomfortable.”
She squirms as he pulls his fingers from her, tracing her folds but also leaving her empty. The sort of empty that aches, that leaves her wanting to be filled, that makes her think about the hardness at her back and--
“Can I feel it?” she gasps, arching into him.
He hesitates, fumbling awkwardly against her as his cock jumps between them. “You mean...?”
“Not-- not in.” She’s half in heat, desperate, but even so-- it’s not safe, not with him so close to a rut. Easing the burden is fine enough, but to have him risk mating her, all because of Liera’s perfume--
“Just...feel it,” she concludes, heart pounding in her chest. It’s too much to ask, she knows, but she’s no longer in control of what comes out of her mouth.
Obi shifts, bringing her head up to rest on his shoulder, her nose pressed tight against his neck, right where his scent is the strongest. That in itself drags a groan out of her, so viscerally satisfying she’s half-tempted to bit him herself. But then his hand slips beneath them, lifting her just slightly up. His cock traces down her spine, a natural movement that ekes a dissatisfied grunt from him, his neck burning against her lips as the tip bobbles against the divot of her back, stuck on the curve of her ass.
He grips it then, guiding it down, between, until a hard ridge settles against her folds. It’s warm, not burning like she is, but present, and--
And she can’t be blamed, not when she can see it jutting, so long and flush between her legs. Not when it takes nothing at all to grind her hips down, coating him in her slick, marking him. She had thought she would know what this would feel like-- the human imagination is remarkably robust, and hers specifically was used to working in theoretical. But nothing prepares her for the sensation in actuality, for the tip of his head to rub against the tight big between her folds--
It doesn’t take any time at all after that.
She’s a mewling mess in his arms, cunt rubbing against his shaft with wild abandon. Every stroke is intense, her arousal sparking across every inch of skin, making her toes curl in the soft kid of her slippers.
There is no thought when she nips him; nothing other than her need for her mouth to do something, and his scent is right there, begging to be tasted. It fills her mouth, flooding her senses until she’s light headed, dizzy from the feel of him all around her, inescapable but not yet close enough--
And then she’s shuddering, keening as he twists her away, his own teeth sinking into her, and she--
She comes hard, her throat raw as she collapses against him, spent.
“There.” His breath comes hard behind her, painting her sensitive skin with heat. She could have him again, she thinks in one moment. She would never survive, her next breath brings.
At least, not until her muscles start working again. She’s limp against his chest; it’s Obi who has to drop his feet to the floor, arranging her skirts around her. She’s still clutching him when he gently places her on the bench across from him, untangling her fingers. “That’s enough for now.”
His cock is still hard, slick and shimmering with her, and she’s filled with a need to take it in her mouth, to taste the two of them mingled together as he comes, shuddering against her. It occurs to her, idly, that she could get to her knees now, that she would only have to lean forward--
His breath catches. “Miss--”
The carriage jerks to a stop.
Shirayuki is hardly stable where she sits, and she sprawls forward, skirts spilling out over his lap when he catches her, and-- and it wouldn’t be so bad to have him inside her, would it? His eyes are clear-- clearer than they were at the masque-- and he must have enough control not to--
The door swings open. “Sir Obi, my lady--”
Tsuruba Bergatt freezes, where he holds the door, eyes wide, dilated. Beta he might be, but he’d have to be scent-blind to miss what is on the air.
“Ah...” he hums, suddenly uncertain.
“Is something wrong?” Obi asks, so even, as if one simply is caught holding a woman in a carriage reeking of sex and rut every day.
Tsuruba shakes himself. “Ah, yes. I’ve found Eisetsu.” He clears his throat, gaze darting between the two of them. “He’s been stabbed.”

Style Scenario: What to Wear to a Dressed Up Holiday Party
December 3, 2018 By Joe | Heads up: Buying via our links may result in us getting a commission. Here's why.
What are you going to wear? Sometimes it’s good to look at a few suggestions then add your own tweaks and ideas. That’s what these are for. To the long-time readers of this corner of the web… a tieless suit is pretty familiar. But just because it’s been done before doesn’t make it the wrong play. If you’re headed to a dressed up affair, whether it be a work holiday party or New Year’s, one way to look more dashing (while dashing through the snow) and less like you just walked out of a job interview, is to lose the tie. Balance that lack of a tie with a pocket square with a little visual interest, as well as with a more casual/substantial watch, and you should be good. Going for a Danny Ocean meets James Bond meets approachable but still smart-guy look here. Is it a little, perhaps, “plain”? Sure. But the point is to let the person inside the clothes do the impressing, while everyone else is getting sh*tfaced on eggnog and wearing blinking nose Rudolph sweaters.
The Suit: Suitsupply Napoli Dark Grey – $399. Can a conservative suit be sexy? Sure can be. Slim cut, timeless lapels, and really nice fabrics. Half-canvas and ships and returns for free.
The Shirt: Nordstrom Tech-Smart Trim Fit Stretch Solid Dress Shirt – $69.50. Or, whatever your favorite crisp white (and comfortable) dress shirt happens to be. Whether it’s a spendy sucker like Ledbury, or something cheap from Amazon, make sure it’s clean, ironed, and ready to go.
The Collar Assist: Alloy Collar Stays – $10.95 (for a box of 36). Obligatory reminder for going tieless. Much more effective than the cheap plastic stays your shirt comes with. Put a slight bend in em’ for a perfect collar that’ll frame your face.
The Pocket Square: The Tie Bar “Domino Paisley” – $10. Dark blue pattern on a light blue background. Goes great with the charcoal suit and the white shirt while being anything but boring. I like folding mine and having the edge, with the corners pointing to my left shoulder, just peeking a bit out of the pocket.
The Topcoat: Amazon Buttoned Down Italian Wool Cashmere Overcoat – $279. Amazon’s own house menswear brands (Buttoned Down and Goodthreads) have been making some serious noise lately. This Italian wool/cashmere blend 2/3 roll button overcoat is just the latest offering. Ships and returns for free, but you have to have Prime to get it. More topcoat options can be found here.
The Scarf: Nordstrom Colorblock Cashmere Scarf – $66.66 ($99). Coordinates perfect with this setup. 100% cashmere. Ships and returns for free.
The Gloves: Barbour Dark Brown Leather Gloves – $59.63 ($89). Simple without being boring. Fleece lined. Nice strap at the wrist.
The Watch: Seiko Automatic “Samurai” in Blue and Gray – $312. Or whatever your favorite Diver happens to be. But I really like the Samurai here. Perfect for grabbing a little (but not too much) attention in an otherwise super simple, clean and mean outfit. Omega Seamaster looks on a budget. And you still get the incredible build quality and dependability of Seiko.
The Shoes: Spier & Mackay Box Calf Medallion Toe Oxfords in Dark Brown – $298. Just enough flash. And yes, you CAN wear dark brown shoes with charcoal pants and or suits. Light brown shoes won’t work, but a rich dark brown absolutely will. Ships and returns for free if it’s your first suit, sportcoat, or shoes purchase from Spier.
The Socks: Nordstrom Over The Calf Wool Blend Socks in Charcoal – $14.50. Always. Forever. Some of the best socks on the market.

Absurdly Waterproof : ep111
Mr. Swiss Watch Sales Guy: Sir?
Me: I’d like to try on that one please.
Mr. Swiss Watch Sales Guy: Sir??
Me: That one there, the Speedmaster. I’d like to try that one on, please.
Mr. Swiss Watch Sales Guy: Sir, you’re wearing a cast.
Me: Yes, I know I’m wearing a cast. But I have two wrists …
Mr. Swiss Watch Sales Guy: I am so sorry Sir. My misunderstanding. Which would you like to see, the sapphire sandwich or the Hesalite?
Me: What's the difference? I don’t know anything about Speedmasters.
Mr. Swiss Watch Sales Guy: The Speedmaster was flight qualified for NASA space flight in 1965. It was originally designed in the 1950’s for automobile racing. But the manual wind movement, and shatter-proof hesalite crystal, and the functional chronograph made it the perfect watch for space travel. The newest version comes with either a hesalite crystal and a solid caseback like the old ones, or a sapphire crystal and an exhibition caseback, so you can see the movement inside.
Me: What’s hesalite?
Mr. Swiss Watch Sales Guy: Basically plexiglass.
Me: So, it’s a plastic crystal?
Mr. Swiss Watch Sales Guy: Basically yes.
Me: Let me see the sapphire sandwich.
The Sales Guy reaches into the case and grabs the watch off of the pillow, then proceeds to slip the watch awkwardly over my right hand.
Wow.
To be honest, I’ve never paid much attention to Omega, but Speedmaster aficionados are often heard saying that a Speedmaster can be your “first and last great watch” and on the wrist, I can see why. The classic mid-century face looks fucking spectacular. I can imagine buying the Speedmaster and spending the rest of my life perfectly content with my choice.
I slip the Speedy off of my wrist and hand it back to the sales guy. I am well and truly impressed.
Me: That’s a definite maybe!
Mr. Swiss Watch Sales Guy: Sir, you can’t go wrong with a Speedmaster.
Me: Ain’t that the damn truth. What else have you got?
Mr. Swiss Watch Sales Guy: Well … if you like the Speedmaster, you’ll probably like Carreras.
Me: How about dive watches?
Mr. Swiss Watch Sales Guy: Have you tried the Pelagos?
Me: Let’s see it.
The Sales Guy fetches the Pelagos from the Tudor case. The Pelagos is Tudor’s all out assault on the hard core professional dive watch. It is a tool watch through and through. It’s a 500 meter diver made out of solid titanium, and it's got a helium escape valve so that professional saturation divers can use it for extended journeys under sea. It’s BADASS.
You could ask a hundred watch nerds what’s the toughest watch in the world, and they’d all answer “Pelagos” to a man.
I spend a few minutes with it on wrist, and to be honest, I’m really digging it.
Mr. Swiss Watch Sales Guy: What do you think?
Me: Love it. There’s no pretense. It just screams “tough” from the rooftops. I love that you could basically do anything with this watch.
Mr. Swiss Watch Sales Guy: You know what Sir, there’s one more watch that I’d like to show you, it’s not in the display case, it’s in the safe. We just got it. It’s vintage.
Me: Vintage? You mean used?
Mr. Swiss Watch Sales Guy: Yes, Sir, it’s pre-owned. But just trust me.
Me: Okay.
The sales guy disappears for a moment and returns with an absolutely mint condition Rolex Sea Dweller that looks to be about 20 years old.
A little history lesson …
The Rolex Submariner is a cultural icon. Introduced in 1954 with an impressive depth rating of 200 meters, the Submariner was the perfect tool for undersea explorers in the burgeoning field of scuba diving.
By the 1960s, undersea exploration was in full swing. SEALAB was giving humans the first chance to live for extended periods of time on the seafloor. In order to prevent divers from suffering from nitrogen narcosis, divers would breathe a mixture of oxygen and helium. Helium being the smallest molecule, it would penetrate the seals of the dive watches and during decompression, the dive watches were exploding.
Rolex’s answer was to put a little burp valve on the side of the watch to allow the helium to escape during decompression. That new watch was called the Sea Dweller. In addition to the helium escape valve, they beefed up the watch considerably compared to the Submariner. First with a depth rating of 610 meters, then eventually 1220 meters.
The Sea Dweller is absurdly waterproof. The Rolex Sea Dweller is like a miniaturized little bank vault on the wrist that is nearly impervious to water. It is the original badass dive watch. From ten feet away, visually, it’s almost impossible to tell the difference between its more popular cousin the Submariner. But, it’s a hair thicker, and a shit ton more capable.
So much more capable in fact, that honestly, nobody would ever need a watch this waterproof, and that includes professional divers.
It’s a freakshow of technology and toughness, and from the moment I laid eyes on it, I knew I had to have it.
The hardest part of wearing this watch will be hiding my erection.

Top Digital Marketing Trends in 2021 From Your Digital Marketing Agency Miami Style
Quite a year the one we’ve had this 2020! It’s clear that it’s been a year of hurdles, endurances, and change. Wildfires, killer wasps, declassified UFO videos from the Pentagon, presidential elections, Covid19… The US (and our beloved Miami 305 scene) has surely been kept busy! We certainly have gone through a lot and most likely will need to adapt to a near future where digital will be more relevant than ever. The question is: Are you ready up to it?
PPC Digital Marketing scene will definitely become a fiercer battlefield. In a future with more businesses and brands going digital, one can only expect to encounter higher competition, costs and disputes for achieving that valuable lead or potential customer you’re going after. Regardless if everything comes back to normal later on, we should adapt to this new scenario in a way that we’re set up not just to survive, but to thrive.
This means that we should all, regardless of our expertise and industry, be flexible and able to swiftly adapt to changes. As many services and organizations are going digital, and having identified some trends among some of our customers’ industries, we’ve pretty much have some ideas as to where we’re going and how we should be dealing with our digital marketing services this upcoming year. Here’s what we’ve found and how we should be approaching each strategy.
An Increase in Social Media Usage
People will be spending more time than ever on their screens. And not just because of Zoom meetings, but because they’ll want to connect with others as their worlds go more digital. With everything going on along with social distancing, people are turning more to social media to either connect with their friends and family, or to have a small getaway moment from their four wall confinements. According to The New York Times, there was a usage spike of 27% for platforms on Facebook and over 40% Instagram (Instagram Live), along with an increase of about 15% for teen favorite TikTok. This trend may very well last until everything goes back to normal and people may go out and interact safely.
The Explosion of TikTok
Yes, yes, yes… We know it’s under attack by the Trump administration. But like it or not, TikTok has seen incredible growth over the past few months, fueled mainly due to the lockup and luring in Gen Z and Millennials alike. With over 300 million app installs, TikTok has quickly become a force of nature on the social media environment, and definitely a place to be if you’re looking to target the young demographics (If they manage to come out alive eventually).
But why has it become so popular? Maybe it’s the strong appeal for fluid short video format it employs to deliver content, or the fact that people see it as the “new trendy thing”. Or, it could perhaps be its complex and intuitive algorithm that “learns” user preference and keeps him/her locked to the screen as it fluidly delivers attractive content over and over again, improving itself as it gathers data points from them.
Whatever reason it may be, if it manages to survive and a deal is finally struck between Oracle and Walmart, brands will without a doubt need to establish presence (If they still haven’t already) in order to jump in the trend and become relevant on the already vibrant playing field.
AI and Programmatic Will Continue Making a Difference
AI tools and automation has upped the competitiveness on the digital marketing field (and many other industries as well), as they take away the guesswork and provide a more detailed and computational powered data analysis. This enables marketers come up with better strategies and better decision making when trying to execute a campaign.
All this is achieved thanks to machine learning, which fuels campaigns and increase ROI by creating more effective customer touch points, doing so at incredible speeds by automating processes that were once dependent on humans. Whether it’s for ad buying or real time bidding, influencer identification for targeting engagement, fake follower detection and for identifying the most profitable pathway for any required outcome, AI enables large data and adapts itself based on real time input to deliver powerful solutions for customers and marketers alike.
The marketing field is constantly evolving, where professionals are now required to use and understand such leveraging and powerful tools. No, marketers aren’t going anywhere (for now) as machines do not possess the human element that makes us unique and that makes us connect and make instant “click” with one another through empathy, storytelling, or any other feeling that we’d like to inspire or transmit. But hey, these tools are becoming more and more sophisticated with every passing day, and 2021 may very well bring more surprises up its sleeve.
Watch Out For Cancel Culture!
Cancel culture is, put simply, being targeted for boycott and socially shamed by siding with, or even staying clear, from political, social or even religious points of view, ideas, endorsements and opinions.
You might be living in a digital bubble if you did not hear about Facebook’s problems when it did not take action against so called “hate spreading messages”, or Goya’s struggle against democrats after it openly backed Trump for the upcoming election (And later got the first ever White House Oval Office Ad in history). Cancel culture usually gets you support from one side, and hate and boycott from the other. In a world that increasingly requires brands and organizations to side with X or Y point of view, you want to make sure you’re on the right end of this social media trend (or, if possible, stay clear and avoid), as consequences can be truly devastating for business if you’re not careful enough. A lack of audits on your marketing campaign automations, review gaps on marketing processes and a lack of personal touch to listen and understand your target audience will bring economic disaster from which it may be difficult to recover. Getting digital marketing as a service can really help, and our team at Suncode Miami can help with that.
2021 will certainly bring more complex challenges to the playing field, and staying proactive listening for the latest turmoils will be of the upmost importance. So the next time you search for “Digital Marketing Companies near me” or “digital marketing agency near me”, make sure they’re aware with everything going on with this rising trend. Constant audits, listening to your audience and staying clear when possible will be crucial to navigate whatever the raging seas bring your way.
Native Advertising
If you’re a fan of James Bond’s movies, you’ll notice there’s always a fancy watch and a fast ride associated with every film. The latest film features an incredible Aston Martin DBS Superleggera and a V8 Saloon, along with a fancy Omega Seamaster Diver 300m. This is what’s called native advertising, where brands bypass the intruding nature of conventional advertising.
web design agency - This practice is not anything new, as it’s been used by years by marketers. However, increasing competition for consumer attention and as more and more companies fight for a piece of market share, we are now bombarded by an endless amount of advertising, which is a huge turn off for your target audience and lead to scenarios where almost half of consumers actively seek for ways to block them entirely.
This is what makes native advertising so powerful. They’re discrete, they can’t be skipped of avoided and can transmit a powerful message by being endorsed, wore or used by a celebrity or influencer. This is definitely a trend that many brands are looking for to increase either awareness or even consideration to move products and services down the shopping cart and into their target audiences.
A higher inclination towards video consumption
While this is also something that has been gaining traction these past few years, platforms such as Youtube, TikTok and Twitch will become more and more relevant as consumer preference leans more towards video.
According to Mediakix social media and video platforms experienced surges during the lockdown, with Youtube experiencing a 20-30% surge in views, Tiktok becoming the most downloaded app ever with over 315 million downloads and an increase of over 30% in Twitch streaming. While these surges were attributed to the lockdown, the growth trend has been seen over the past few years, making it imperative for brands to establish presence and visibility.
The power of interaction and bonding with their favorite content creator or social community created among these platforms make them powerful game changers for the marketing industry. Whether it’s with native ads, video ads or influencer marketing, digital marketers need to keep a close eye at this increasingly dominant trend that will surely keep playing a decisive role on any marketing strategy.
2021 is right around the corner!
You think it’s too early to define what will work and what won’t for 2021? Think again! Preparing now (Or having a digital marketing agency in Miami) gives you a head start at what your business should be looking at and how to maintain a competitive edge among your competition, because whether we like it or not, this next year will be without a doubt as competitive as ever and will require the right tools, top skills and unparalleled marketing experience to be top-of-mind among the constant noise surrounding your target customer. From ancient technology to modern art.
The case of the C Ward C9 5 Days is not quite the same as the other watches in the C9x Harrison collection, even if it is not quite the same thicknes hublot big bang rose gold replica watchs. So, I've more or less reviewed the C900 Worldtimer and Single Pusher Chronograph before checking them out, but all in all, this is a very large case in terms of overall look and design. Measuring 43 x 51 x 14mm, it's definitely big, especially for something on the dresser side, but it works in its own way. It's masculine and handsome at the same time, with a solid, if not "sturdy" feel. Comparing it to something would be like wearing any larger marine chronometer on the outside. Despite the best rolex fake ir size, they have an elegant look. Consideri replica watchng that the name of the line comes from John Harrison.

Yes, after years of chasing rough tool watches, filling my collection with diver's watches, and obsessing over sports chronographs, I finally gave in and admitted that I've been suppressing my voice for years. Introducing – The Omega Seamaster Diver 300M Chronograph Titanium, Tantalum, Gold is Back
If you think about the Seamaster Diver 300M Chronograph, apart from the classic steel and blue dial version, the one model that should immediately come to mind is the tri-metal edition, a bold statement created in 1993, being one of the rare watches to use tantalum, combined with titanium and gold. The result, often nicknamed “The Beast”, was clearly something demonstrative that became iconic in the Seamaster collection. And yes, this unique combination of materials is back, with the new Omega Seamaster Diver 300M Chronograph Titanium, Tantalum and Gold. Modernized, of course.
The 1993 version of the tri-metal Seamaster 300m Chronograph – Photo by Fratello Watches
The watch we’re looking now was first released in 1993 – remember that, back in the early 1990s, mechanical watchmaking was barely back on track. Thus, creating an automatic diving chronograph using not one but 3 different metals was quite something. While the first Seamaster Diver 300M was already based on this chronograph, the reference 2296.80 was pushing the concept even further. Not only the case and bracelet were mostly titanium but it added polished gold accents and, even more unique, matte tantalum elements – central links of the bracelet and bezel. And this watch made an impression.
The new Ti/Ta/Au Omega Seamaster Diver 300M Chronograph
Clearly, the resemblance between the 1993 edition and this new model for 2020 is obvious. Not only the materials used are the same but they are positioned in the same way on the watch. However, the technical base has drastically, being the latest generation of Seamaster Diver 300M Chronograph, which we extensively reviewed here.
Let’s talk about materials. First of all, the base of the watch remains mostly made of titanium – grade 2 titanium to be precise. Titanium has multiple advantages over stainless steel, being more corrosion-resistant, antimagnetic, biochemically inert and able to withstand extreme temperatures. Also, not neglectable in the case of a 44mm watch like this Seamaster Diver 300M Chronograph, it is lighter. Finally, grade 2 titanium, which is here used with a brushed finishing, has a darker colour and matte surface, giving a more instrumental look.
Then, there are the contrasting gold elements, which add a luxurious and eccentric touch to this watch – something truly part of its identity. Here, there are some evolutions too. Yellow gold has been replaced by Omega’s own red gold alloy, named Sedna gold – more resistant to discolouration than a standard red gold alloy. It is here applied to the bracelet’s mid-links, to the pushers and crown, to the helium valve and to the bezel’s insert – the latter having a nice grained texture with raised numerals and track, obtained by laser-ablation.
Finally, there’s tantalum – the most important of the three metals, even though only seen by small touches. It is used here for the bezel and the bracelet’s mid-links. Tantalum holds a special place in watchmaking as it’s rarely used, but it always makes an impression. This blue-grey metal is more rare than gold, harder than steel, and highly corrosion-resistant. Dark, dense, pliable, and highly conductive of heat and electricity, it is particularly difficult to work with.
The dial of this Ti/Ta/Au Omega Seamaster Diver 300M Chronograph retains the classic SMP look. It is made of blue polished ceramic, with a laser-engraved pattern – a signature element of this collection. To match with the case, the hands and applied indexes are also in Sedna gold. Its display consists of a small seconds at 9 o’clock, a sub-counter for chronograph hours and minutes at 3 o’clock and a date window on the lower part of the dial.
The back reveals a sapphire crystal with the Seahorse logo, which has been laser-engraved and white lacquered on the sapphire crystal. Underneath is Omega’s powerful movement, calibre 9900. This automatic, integrated chronograph movement is equipped with a column-wheel and a vertical clutch. It runs at 4Hz and stores 60 hours of energy. It also comes with all the latest technology, being magnetic-resistant to 15,000-gauss and featuring the brand’s co-axial escapement. As such, it is Master Chronometer certified.
The watch, a true diver’s piece with 300m water-resistance, is worn on a metallic bracelet with patented extendable foldover rack- and-pusher with extra diver extension. It is placed inside a special presentation box in the style of a water-resistant chamber.
Availability and price
The new Omega Seamaster Diver 300M Chronograph Titanium, Tantalum and Gold (ref. 210.60.44.51.03.001) is released in the permanent collection, as a numbered edition – the unique number is placed on a Sedna gold plate on the side of the case. It will be available from retailers as of November 2020 and priced at EUR 18,200.
