Princess Leiko ( ASOMAM ) - some concepts

Having Leiko being a Mongol fantasy Princess in ASOMAM to me MAKES SO MUCH SENSE

Some reasons :

. In Ancient Mongolia times, Manchuria was once a settler colony of the Mongol Empire periods

. Leiko has Mongol, Manchurian and Yakut genes in her

. Ancient Mongolia comprises parts of Central Siberia and Northern China and today's Mongolia

Princess Leiko of Jogos Nghai to me feels like a daughter of Genghis Khan and Borte - she has the finesse of equestrian combat tactics and belligerence like Genghis and the seeming gentleness and love of wool like Borte

Maybe Leiko Wu is also inspired by one of the daughters of Genghis Khan 👀👀👀

In the Yuan Dynasty, several Mongol royals married Chinese royals mainly for power reasons

Kinda similar case with in the Ming Dynasty except that case was also more complicated ( with the on and off Ming Mongol rivalry and all that )

Since Kahl Drogo is also inspired by Attila the Hun

Leiko's parents can also be inspired by Genghis Khan and Borte

Like imagine on the night Princess Leiko was sent off to Yi Ti

Her mother ( Queen of the Jogos Nghai ) personally visited her chambers and gave her some pre bridal gifts, including a golden horse shoe ( which is one of the highest forms of presents in the Jogos Nghai )

And Leiko gratefully accepts the gifts

The mother and daughter share a heartfelt moment where the Jogos Nghai Queen shared her story on how she was bethrothed to the Jogos Nghai King when they were children, and only during the wedding preparations in her young adult years did she grow to love the Jogos Nghai King
