2020-2021 Animation Watch(ed)list
I haven’t posted about animation in a while that I remember, and I know a lot of my followers are into it as much as me so I decided to make a list of the animated movies and series I watched on the past year or so, coupled with my short, spoilerless take on them. Enjoy!
Organized by
Things I saw for the first time
Things I rewatched
Under a cut for the sake of your dashboards! PS: I have not added any images yet. If you are interested in knowing more about the visuals of these movies, I might make an old fashion ask-prompted imageset list.
Part One: Things I saw for the first time
The Bear’s Famous Invasion of Sicily
Movie, 2019, Italian/French
9/10, a delightful little movie with amazing visuals. It feels like an animated picture book.
One of those “plot is in the title” media! I had never heard of this before but was heavily recommended it by my family members, who all loved it! It’s a sweet story, nothing groundbreaking but the unique colorful visual style alone makes it worth it.
The Castle of Cagliostro
Movie, 1979, Japanese
10/10. Reminded me of all the books i loved reading as a child
I assume its because it’s so old and the art style and themes are so different that it gets little to no love compared to other Ghibli movies, which is a shame! It’s fun with an endearing cast and as always, great animation and music
Mushishi
Series, 2006, Japanese
10/10 three episodes in I knew it was going to be my favorite series ever
One of the few things I’ve seen I’ll describe as life-changing. It’s absolutely lovely but never toots its own horn about it. Humble, calming, emotional and surprisingly mature. It’s pretty impossible to binge due to how intense the experience is. I just want to walk in the forest now...
FMA: Brotherhood
Series, 2009, Japanese
6/10 Dissapointing adaptation of a classic story
I read the manga for this when I was in middle school and remembered loving it. The animated version does an ok job of presenting the characters and worldbuilding and has some nice action scenes but overall looks really damn cheap and just. Not very good. Seeing I already knew most of the plot I did not have the element of discovery that made me marvel so much reading the original. It’s still a nice series but I really recommend reading it instead.
Code Lyoko (s1+2)
Series, 2003, french
3/10. 1.5 being for the opening song alone
This show sucks ass if I hadn’t been watching this with my bestie I would have dropped it two episodes in. The art style is ugly the stories are always the same and the first season has a (later removed thank fucking god) LITERAL “erase any consequences” button as a plot device in every episode. If you watch it for one thing let it be the nostalgia factor of early 00s Vidya Game Plot
The Legend of Hei
Movie, 2019, Chinese
7/10. Impressive visuals and a poor story
I finally watched this, peer pressured by the load of gifsets on my dashboard! It’s a sweet movie with really impressive animation, sometimes a bit too flashy for my taste (the action sequences go so ham they become not very readable...) but the story was just ok? The setting is barely explained and you are instead bombarded with vague epicspeech about powers and stuff that made me fondly remember Kingdom Hearts lol but that asides it’s a really good time! I need to watch more Chinese movies the few I know are just delightfully off the shits in how they approach action and I love that
Hunter x Hunter
Series, 1999, Japanese
9/10. Superior to the recent one!
I first got introduced to the series via the 2011 one. Comparatively, the 99 series focuses way less on action and way more on the characters, which I love because that fits my personal preferences! Despite mediocre filler episodes and some weird slight pointless plot changes, what it changes from the original manga doesn’t have much of an impact on the characters. The animation quality isn’t always consistent including a huge art style change for an arc (???) but it’s overall pretty nice. The series really shines in the last arc it adapts.
Oban Star-racers
Series, 2006, Japanese/french
9/10 a lovely surprise
This series is completly obscure despite having been created by people famous for their other series (Cowboy Bebop, Code Lyoko that i can name) and it’s a crime! It’s a kids show but without being stupid about it who tells the story of an inter-planetary race. If you liked that one scene in the star wars prequels you know what I mean. It’s got surprisingly nice animation for a TV series, and some truly great character design. The art style is a bit unique in a not for everyone sense, but I didn’t mind it much. It’s also THE most offensively 2000s series i’ve seen in terms of visuals. y2k kids assemble
The Little Prince and the Eight-Headed Dragon
Movie, 1963, japanese
8/10. Classic fairytale format with incredible visuals
Watched this for the art style because I know it inspired Samurai Jack, and it delievered! I dont’ have much to say about this one, it’s a very simply film but it’s sweet. For my pirates out there if you want to find it in good quality with english subtitles it’s VERY hard to find. If you just want to see the looks of it, it’s on Youtube with portugese subs.
We now enter the Gobelins Shorts Zone....!
My Friend Who Glows In The Dark
10/10 makes me cry each time
Pure delight...great animation writing everything. A little short about death and friendship but not in the way you imagine!
Colza
9/10
Visual treat...homely and nice :) not far from a 10 but a 9 because nothing about it is that groundbreaking
Sundown
9/10
If you’ve ever been ten minutes from failing a group project because of a single dude you will REALLY enjoy this. Loved the colors and personality
T’as vendu mes rollers?
10/10
It’s SUCH a sweet little short I loved that one so much
Dix-huit kilomètres trois
10/10
Surprisingly well written dialog. Visuals are great but the humanity of the characters carries this to another level
Un diable dans la poche
9/10
Amazing visuals and the most tense/creepy of Gobelin shorts i’ve ever seen. Chilling
La bestia
8/10
I had some issues with the pacing. Interesting story and visuals choices but I was not fond of the art style
Goodbye Robin
5/10
Confusing but predictable. Both at once??? Yes!
Le retour des vagues
6/10
Cool animation stuff but felt pretty pointless
                                                                ***
Part Two: Things I rewatched
Ruben Brandt: Collector
Movie, 2018, Hungarian
10/10. Underrated as hell
Watched this fully blind for the first time in an animated festival and rewatched it with friends. It’s a crime I never see anyone talking about it given the amount of whining I see about the lack of both adult animation and 2D movies? This film is a unique love letter to art in the form of a weird mix of charming crime story and psychological horror with amazing visuals. I recommend watching it blind and also buying it to show appreciation for how nice it is!!! WATCH THIS MOVIE...
Mononoke
Series, 2007, Japanese
10/10 Visual/storytelling masterpiece in the weird shit departement
If you can stomach intense stuff watch this. The visuals are incredibly unique and beautiful and under the jewel tones and art direction high takes it’s a really cool horror series. My only obstacle to enjoying it the first time I saw it was how dense it is - simply put, it’s so...culturally Japanese it’s not very accessible to me who doesn’t know anything about the culture? Watching it for the second time helped understanding the stories more!
Corto Maltese in Siberia
Movie, 2002, french
9/10 but really close to ten. A great adaptation!
I’m a huge fan of the original comic so I entered this a biiiittttt suspicious it would suck but it was a really pleasant surprise! It has all the wonder and charm of the original and the animation was surprisingly good for the little budget. If you’re not familiar with the series, it’s a sort of geopolitical action/adventure movie but with it’s own really poetic vibe to it. It’s almost impossible to find online but happens to be fully on YouTube so go ham I guess?
Redline
Movie, 2009, Japanese
10/10 cinema was invented for this, actually
Every review of this movie i’ve seen gives it five stars and starts by talking about how immensly stupid it is. I’m no different. It’s a masterpiece of escalating energy with the depth of a puddle and it fucking rules. It’s free on YouTube too so there really is no excuse to not watch it. Watched it for the first time on a huge cinema screen and despite this my second rewatch on my small laptop was as/even more enjoyable. If you watch this stoned with friends you might travel to another dimension
Spirited Away
Movie, 2001, Japan
10/10 deserves the love it gets
I watched this a single time as a kid and had little memory of it! I mean it’s Ghibli you know it’s going to be good as hell but this one rly shines in how colorful and detailed it is and in it’s world! It made me remember I had a huge crush on the dragonboy as a kid. I’m gay now
Kung-fu Panda (1&2)
Movie, Usa
10/10. KFP fucking rules
Honestly my favorite franchise of the whole disney/dreamworks/pixar hydra. It’s fun as hell, doesn’t skip a single beat and has amazing animation and character designs. If something is a good time I will not care if it’s deep or not and boy I fucking love these movies
Sinbad, Legend of the Seven Seas
Movie, 2003, Usa
5/10 Some great some really bad and overall generic
I tend to hate american cinema and this includes that era of animation I have no nostalgia for. Sinbad is in a weird place because I love adventure stories and the visuals of the movie absolutely deliver but it’s very predictable and TANKED by the addition of the female character, pushed in your face as “look we have woman!!!” despite her writing being misogynistic as hell lol. The evil goddess rules tho. This movie would have been a solid 9 if instead of the girl the two dudes had kissed

Hello! Firstly, thank you for this blog - I've recently re fallen down the POTO rabbit hole after a long period off and your blog has enabled this massively by providing insight and detail I didnt think I would ever have access to (that's good, I think? 🤣). My ask is what would be your recs for non replica (inc vegas) clips to get a flavour of how different these shows are? Either 'Wow!' or 'What?' moments. The pics I have seen have me very intrigued.
Thanks, glad you enjoy! As for your question, for some of these non-replicas, it isn’t about videos that make me go “Wow!” or “WTF?”, it’s about getting videos at all. Most of the time, I think a full video is best to experience a non-replica, simply because so many things can be changed and one clip of a scene is really not enough to get a sense of the differences, so where available, I’ll post that, but with so many of these, only clips or trailers are available, so clips and trailers it is. Here we go:
Hungarian non-replica production: This video is a fairly decent record of the production. It and similar videos from this year were apparently all dress rehearsals, so the actors are kind of low energy compared to later performances, but it is complete.
Polish non-replica production: There’s actually a couple of fairly long highlights videos of this production, but none are on YouTube (or got taken down). So you can watch, I dunno, this trailer, and this trailer, and this trailer, and this clip.
Las Vegas shortened production: There’s several Las Vegas videos, but this one, from August 8, 2008 with Anthony Crivello, Kristi Holden, and Andrew Ragone, is probably the clearest and best filmed one. It is still worth looking at the others for a slightly farther view.
25th anniversary concert: Yes, I am counting this one. Go watch the DVD, or maybe a livestream.
Restaged UK Tour production: Yes, I am counting this as different from the US version of this production. There are two very nice videos of this production, but since neither of them are probably on YouTube, you can watch this, this, this, and this.
Restaged US Tour production: There’s several full videos, all great, and lots of clips of various casts scattered around. You can watch this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, and this.
Czech non-replica production: As with many non-replicas, there are various clips scattered everywhere, but so far the videos on this channel are the best I’ve seen.
Estonian non-replica production: Pretty much the only clips I’ve seen from this show are from its official channel. You can watch this clip and this clip, and then check out various snippets of material from this, this, this, this, this, this, and this.
Finland/Gothenburg non-replica production: Most complete video is this Act One only bootleg. Otherwise, you can watch this trailer (Finland) and this trailer (Gothenburg) plus this clip.
Romanian non-replica production: After you’re done with this weird concept trailer, the only other material is from this interview video and this set of promo clips, and also this recently released video of the Romanian cast singing the title song, as well as ‘Music of the Night’ and ‘All I Ask of You’.
Serbian non-replica production: There’s not a lot of videos of this production. Here's a news clip and trailer.
Norwegian/Greek non-replica production: For Norway, watch this trailer and this clip, this clip, and this clip. For Greece, this trailer and every Phantom video on this channel.
Bulgarian non-replica production: There’s some scenes here and some highlights here and here.
World Tour modified production: Honestly, if you can get your hands on it, just watch the May 23, 2019 bootleg. Full show, nice detail (if laggy), great cast, really just the best way to note the (pretty minute) differences in the production.
UK Tour modified production: Given how quickly it closed, there is almost nothing of this production other than some short bootleg clips. But what can you do.

27, 16 & 15!!!
Thank you so much for the ask!
27. favourite national celebrity?
Honestly, I am not really up to date with any celebrity, especially not Hungarian ones. If YouTubers count I’d say the “Beleférek a bőröndbe?” channel. It makes fun travel videos and tips on how to get job abroad.
16. which stereotype about your country you hate the most and which one you somewhat agree with?
I absolutely agree with the stereotype that we love to eat! Although in my opinion Hungarian cuisine is really greasy, we always just a little bit of space in our stomach for the dessert.
I would say I do not agree with the fact that Hungarians do not speak English. Yes, most of the older generations only speak Hungarian, but the younger generations (I’d say the last part of Gen X, Millennials and Gen Z) speak either German or English.
15. a saying, joke, or hermetic meme that only people from your country will get?
If I have to say one it is probably those that make fun of our prime minister orbán viktor, such as (my personal favorite) combining his name with everyday objects.
I’m not from the US ask set

What everybody brought to the ESC (sprinkled with my humble opinion)
Albania: desire to call the storm your brother (yeah, I dig it and it made me poetic, shut up), run from civilization and make the spirits of the wild your allies. Also: Cleopatra Mom in a Pride dress can I squeal with joy??!
Armenia: empowering song and beautiful performer. I hope she brings her suit *winks*, oh, yeah, and the braids, the braids!! And a familiar face to Ukrainians! ;)
Australia: stop shitting on them, the pips know what Eurovision is about, look at them this year: try to describe this without the word extra. They just embodied the moth&lamp meme. Brought: the daughter-dress of 2018 Estonia and Russia paired with the sexiest dementor you've seen
Austria: if she will look into me like she did in the music video than maybe I will break down, she is tearing at my walls. Brought:  blue hair to make me listen, and it works.
Azerbaijan: a medal for aesthetic goal. It might not exist yet, but it freaking should. Also, I am stealing so many of the things that they used in the music video, you just watch me
Belarus: that white outfit of hers. Or the legs. No, the outfit. Or the legs?.. Which one of these makes me keep staring? (Also brought all these dislikes from Belarussian people, which reminds me - RIP the potato masterpiece of this year)
Belgium: quality Netflix Original's soundtrack. Also a soundtrack to a montage of you running towards your goal and honestly - it's sweet.
Croatia: KAO HEROOOOOJ!!! Also: piano?? hopefully a piano?? We need it, come on, people need to fill out theirs esc bingos, people want to get drunk and we will help them! Also: stairs?? Possknly many stairs??
Cyprus: "Fuego" got reborn and we are being delivered heavy dance beats again, yay!
Czech Republic: oh, the funk, they stolen it? and added an 80' bassline? I hate it and I love it, you have no idea how hard are my relationship with this song is. But facts are facts.
Denmark: A MOTHERFUCKING HUGE CHAIR, I hope they bring it: I am supporting a policy that if you have a lot of space - you should do crazy shit with it. Also: brought German, cause Germany couldn't
Estonia: Aviici wibes and, oh yeah!, another song about a storm! I vote to start a new category for esc bingo: songs featuring storm in their lyrics or title. Also: guitar? Pretty please
Finland: Darude. As a rule I don't list people here, but the rules don't apply to you once you become a meme. Also: Poison Ivy just came to dance on a rotating cube in the middle of the stage - cause that's what you do, that's what I would have done if only I have been confident enough.
France: good boy, cinnamon roll, his wigs are the best and are not to be snatched, ok??! I am getting serious "Phoenix" wibes. Also: cute glasses!
Georgia: yes! They brought these awesome back vocals for which I love them so much!! Also: I feel like Georgia has its goal to make us love Georgian, and idk about you, but it works on mee~~
Germany: SISTAH!!! It's caraoce night and Elsa and Pocahontas are winning it. Also: can I talk about how refreshing it is to see a female duo?
Greece: actual Greece aesthetic wibes?? Beauty, so much beauty. Also: give them swords!! Allow them swords on the stage, cowards!!
Hungary: a song about a dad! I sense a streak! And I want to kiss everybody responsible for keeping it in Hungarian. Also: whistling! That you cannot get out of your head!
Iceland: they got last place last time so they are angry now, ahah. But honestly, we haven't even started yet  and Hatari is already a meme, and we all know that it's the true currency of Eurovision fame. They are worth an essay, it's just I won't do it here.
Ireland: light happy pop for you to finally relax. And, for some reason, nostalgia? I blame Irish magic.
Israel: an Israeli Freddy Mercury with a strong song and a pinch of Disney sound. Interesting in a good way vocals.
Italy: "ramadan" rimed with "Jackie Chan", a big fuck you to all the haters and international versions of D.Trump. Also: ~~soldiii~~, ~~soldiii~~
Latvia: your soundtrack for soft and quiet, warm night walks. Magic the color of black and crimson velvet. The ocean of the eyes.
Lithuania: that one song that encourages you to stand up and go towards what you want, plants a seed of self appreciation inside of you. Good stuff. And his voice is higher than the expectations of your relatives.
Malta: another aesthetics award!! Also - I can't possibly say no to people who put chameleons into music videos. Also: another member of "nana" squad!
Moldova: this year it's them who is bringing us a ballad: and a solid one, + the voice
Montenegro: oh yes!! Finally!! A grandpa!! With a beard!! Playing a traditional instrument!! The sacred commandments are being followed!! Also snow in May aesthetic.
North Macedonia: a powerful ballad for girls and I am here for it!! Go and break the rules! Make everybody fucking emotional!! We need it and we deserve it!
Norway: the sickest Christmas party in a Narnia setting: LET ME IIIN.The furry jokes. And if u think they will stop any time soon - you are wildly misguided. And now we have another version of what does the fox say!
Poland: if you haven't heard them already - probably they brought smth you haven't really expected from them as a folk band. They make me feel things. The outfits!! I said THE OUTFITS!!
Portugal: a true to life representation of my last two brain cells. It's so eary, so unusual that I am in love. Back in my days (and it's like a week ago) I had to do a half an hour long deep YouTube dive to get to music like this. Artttt
Romania: abandoned mansions aesthetic, possible mythical wibes, yessss, bring it to meee!
Russia: Lazarev. They brought Lazarev. You know who he is, what can I say except for: why is his signing is so good??hmm
San Marino: a true leader of "nanana" squad appears!! I like to think that's how San Marino celebrates all of its national holidays. They've always came to Eurovision to party, and they are proving a point once again.
Serbia: I know many like to complain about ballads: but come on, we need at least some, and Serbia delivered, at least we always can rely on Balcan countries for that! Also: I hope she brings her crystal horns with her to the stage, they paid them so much attention!
Slovenia: depressed youth love brought you some indi to relax but also to float into space contemplating your choices.
Spain: is here to cure your depression in case any of the previous songs triggered it. Brought a party, the Sun, and the most Spanish sounding thing I have ever heard. I feel like they thrive out of dandelion wine.
Sweden: changed their formula a bit and suddenly in works on me, and it works very well! There is a literall door to heaven above the stage! That's where they came from! Also: I am in love with the back vocal singers.
Switzerland: a Spanish wibe + some Asian notes/sound?? + heavy dance beat = yeah, they got me, it is indeed good to dance to.
The Netherlands: brought sensitivity and forced it on me, brought tears and put them behind my eyes. Goodness gracious, whyyy
UK: such a sweet happy song, love how the entries from UK tend to be so sunny and bright recently. Brought me desire to hug my friends and close ones.
Please note that I have no intentions of offending anybody, we all are here to have a good time. I respect everybody on this list.

The Clever Brothers and The Faeries (Sanders Side Fairy Tale AU)
Okay, so I've been reading a lot of fairy tales and binge watching a bunch of Hungarian Folk Tales on YouTube and this just came splurging out of me! It's a bit experimental so tell me what you think, ENJOY!!!
Once upon a time there lived a poor man named Thomas and his two sons. The eldest was named Logan and he was quite a wise and clever fellow indeed. The youngest son was named Virgil and he was not as clever but still very witty. One day the family found themselves without any food or money so the man sent his sons out into the forest to hunt.
“Go out into the forest and do not come back until you’ve caught something suitable for us to eat,” Their father said “even if it’s just a mouse.
And so, the two young men set out into the forest in search of food. They walked and walked for hours until they came across a fork in the road. One path lead down a dark forest over shadowed by large trees so thick they blocked out the sun. The other path lead down a forest so dense the wild underbrush had caused the road to become extremely narrow.
“Where do we go now brother?” Virgil asked nervously.
Logan thought a moment, taking in the scenery of the two paths and finally making a decision. “Listen here brother,” Logan said “since I am better at kindling fires, I shall take the darken path and since you are more nimble you shall take the narrow path. But you must remember to never stray, least the faeries are around to come and trick you or snatch you away.”
Virgil nodded, quite frighten at the thought of being taken by faeries, “I promise brother, so long as you promise not to stray either.”
“But of course!” His brother replied.
And the two set off down their paths in search of something to eat. Hours passed and Virgil thought it best to rest for a bit, drink up what was left in his canteen. His stomach growled and groaned so loudly that the poor boy was afraid it would scare off the animals in the forest then he’d never catch anything. Nearby was an apple tree, grand and ripe with big red apples ready for picking but it was off the path.
“Dear me,” Virgil cried “if I cannot find any game to hunt, I might as well take some apples home. It’s not quite filling but at least we’d have something to eat. Oh, but it’s off the path and I am frighten faeries might come take me away.”
And just as he said that a beautiful faery dressed in red and gold appeared on the second lowest branch of the tree, laughing mockingly at the frighten boy. “Dear me,” the fae laughed “what a cowedly man you are! Though I might be too if I were planning to steal from a faery prince!”
“I was not going to steal!” Virgil stuttered “I was simply admiring what a lovely apple tree you have, good sir.”
“I should hope so!” The faery prince said haughtily “These are the best apples in all the land both here and in my realm.”
Virgil was just about to agree with him when he suddenly got a cunning idea. “Dear sir, your apples are quite fine indeed but I know of a man who has orchards of apple trees much more grand.”
“Preposterous!” The prince exclaimed “My apples are far greater!”
“I wouldn’t know sir, I have yet to taste them,” Virgil replied with a sly grin “would you be so kind as to grant me a few apples to take back home so that I may compare them? Surely, then we shall know who as the best apples in all the land.”
“Yes, yes, of course!” And the prince quickly picked a bushel of apples for the boy and sent him on his merry way.
On the darken path the eldest brother had also stopped to rest and had finished up what was left in his canteen. His stomach growled and grumbled so loudly the boy worried that it might frighten the animals in the forest and he would never catch anything. Nearby was a black berry bush, full of juicy ripe berries ready to be picked but it was off the path.
“Dear me,” Logan said glumly “if I cannot find any game to hunt, I might as well take some berries home. It’s not quite filling but at least we’d have something to eat. Oh, but it’s off the path and I am worried faeries might come take me away.”
And just as he said that a beautiful faery dressed in blue and gold appeared next to the bush, a mischievous smile on his face. “Hello young traveler, say you weren’t thinking of stealing my berries, were you? If you did, I would be very cross with you and would have to see you punish, seeing as I am a prince and all.”
“I was not going to steal,” Logan said calmly “I was simply admiring what a lovely berry bush you have, good sir.”
“I should hope so!” The faery prince giggled proudly “These are the best berries in all the land both here and in my realm.”
Logan was just about to agree with him when he suddenly got a cunning idea. “Dear sir, your berries are quite fine indeed but I know of a man who has acres of berry bushes much more grand.”
“Preposterous!” The faery prince cried “My berries are far greater!”
“I wouldn’t know sir, I have yet to taste them,” Logan replied with a sly grin “would you be so kind as to grant me a couple of berries to take back home so that I may compare them? Surely, then we shall know who as the best berries in all the land.”
“Yes, yes, of course!” And the prince quickly picked a sack full of berries for the boy and sent him on his merry way.
The brothers returned home, arms full of apples and berries, keeping secret as to what happened in the forest. When their father asked why they returned with no game they replied, “Dear father, we could not find any game to hunt but we did find these apples and berries. They may hold us down for a little while.”
“Very well.” Their father said gruffly, for he could not truly stay mad at his dear sons. When the apples and the berries ran out the father soon sent his sons out into the forest to hunt for food.
“Go out into the forest and do not come back until you’ve caught something suitable for us to eat,” Their father said “even if it’s just a mouse.
And so, once more, the two young men set out into the forest in search of food. They walked and walked for hours until they came across the fork in the road. They both set out on their chosen paths once again promising not so stray least the faeries come to trick them or snatch them away.
Hours passed and Virgil thought it best to rest for a bit, once more drink up what was left in his canteen. His stomach growled and groaned so loudly that the poor boy was afraid it would scare off the animals in the forest then he’d never catch anything. Nearby, where the apple tree once stood, was a great pear tree with ripe golden pears ready for picking but it was off the path.
Virgil wondered if this tree too belonged to the faery prince and soon got another cunning idea. He pretended to cry, “Dear me, if I cannot find any game to hunt, I might as well take some pears home. It’s not quite filling but at least we’d have something to eat. Oh, but it’s off the path and I am frighten faeries might come take me away.”
And just as he said that the beautiful faery prince dressed in red and gold appeared once again on the second lowest branch of the tree and laughed mockingly at the seemingly frighten boy. “My, my, you really are quite a cowered and a fool! Seeing as you have come once again to steel from my tree!”
“I was not going to steal,” Virgil said innocently “I was simply admiring what a lovely pear tree you have, good sir, and wondered if they were as grand as your apples.”
“Yes, my apples of which you stole!” The prince exclaimed “I know of your lies boy and you shall pay dearly for it!”
“Oh, but sir,” Virgil said “I did not steal the apples, you gave them to me. Therefore, I did nothing wrong.”
“You lied and so you must pay!” The prince said, fuming with anger.
“But sir, I am a poor boy you see,” Virgil replied “I have nothing to pay you with.”
The prince in red was now becoming red faced with anger, shaking the tree to its very roots, “Well, you best think of something quick or I shall steal you away to my world and have you imprisoned for the rest of your life.”
Virgil thought a moment before coming up with a clever idea, “Tell you what, for however many apples you gave me I shall then give you a kiss.”
The prince was confused, “Why a kiss?”
Virgil replied, “So that you may taste the sweetness of your apples from my lips and it will be as if you have eaten them yourself.”
The prince thought this exchange fair and complied with the boy’s deal accepting the kisses as payment. Virgil then asked the prince if he could take a basket of pears home with him and promised that the next time he returned to the forest he’d provide the prince with the same payment.
“Yes, yes, of course!” And the prince quickly picked a basket full of pears for the boy and sent him on his merry way.
On the darken path the eldest brother had also stopped to rest and he too had finished up what was left in his canteen. His stomach growled and grumbled so loudly the boy worried that it might frighten the animals in the forest and he would never catch anything. Nearby, where the blackberry bush once stood, was a strawberry bush full of lushes red berries ready for picking but it was off the path.
Logan wondered if this tree too belonged to the faery prince and soon got another cunning idea. He pretended to sigh, “Dear me, if I cannot find any game to hunt, I might as well take some strawberries home. It’s not quite filling but at least we’d have something to eat. Oh, but it’s off the path and I am worried faeries might come take me away.”
And just as he said that the beautiful faery prince dressed in blue and gold again appeared next to the bush with a very cross expression, “My, my, come to steel from me again, you scoundrel!”
“I was not going to steal,” Logan said innocently “I was simply admiring what a lovely strawberry bush you have, good sir, and wondered if they were as grand as your blackberries.”
“Yes, my berries of which you stole!” The prince exclaimed “I know of your lies you thief and you shall pay dearly for it!”
“Oh, but sir,” Logan said “I did not steal the berries, you gave them to me. Therefore, I did nothing wrong.”
“You lied and so you must pay!” The prince said, so angry he began to weep.
“But sir, I am a poor boy you see,” Logan replied “I have nothing to pay you with.”
The prince in blue was now becoming blue faced as he cried, shaking the land around the bush to its very roots, “Well, you best think of something quick or I shall steal you away to my world and have you imprisoned for the rest of your life.”
Logan thought a moment before coming up with a clever idea, “Tell you what, for however much the sack you gave me weighed I shall then give you a kiss for each pound.”
The prince was confused, “Why a kiss?”
Logan replied, “So that you may taste the sweetness of your berries from my lips and it will be as if you have eaten them yourself.”
The prince thought this exchange fair and complied with the boy’s deal accepting the kisses as payment. Logan then asked the prince if he could take a sack of strawberries home with him and promised that the next time he returned to the forest he’d provide the prince with the same payment.
“Yes, yes, of course!” And the prince quickly picked a sack full of strawberries for the boy and sent him on his merry way.

“Go out into the forest and do not come back until you’ve caught something suitable for us to eat,” Their father said “even if it’s just a mouse.
And so, once more, the two young men set out into the forest in search of food. They walked until they came across the fork in the road before merrily setting out on their chosen paths once again promising not so stray least the faeries come to trick them or snatch them away.
Hours passed and Virgil came upon a familiar looking tree and thought it best to rest for a bit, once more drink up what was left in his canteen. He did not mind that his stomach growled and groaned so loudly that it would probably scare off the animals in the forest he knew with his skills he’d never be able to catch one anyway. Nearby, where the pear tree once stood, was a great peach tree with plump pink peaches ripe and ready for picking but it was off the path.
Virgil smiled to himself and began to dramatically cry out, “Dear me, if I cannot find any game to hunt, I might as well take some peaches home. It’s not quite filling but at least we’d have something to eat. Oh, but it’s off the path and I am frighten faeries might come take me away.”
And just as he said that the beautiful faery prince dressed in red and gold appeared once again on the second lowest branch of the tree and laughed at the boy’s foolish antics. “Come now traveler you cannot truly be that cowardly! Especially since you’ve come back to steal from me once more.”
“I was not going to steal,” Virgil chuckled “I came to deliver my payment and couldn’t help but admire your lovely peach tree and wondered if they’d taste as delicious as your pears.”
“I can assure you they do,” The prince said slyly with a wink “and if you grant me extra payment I may throw in a few more, free of charge.”
“Why thank you good sir, your kindness is everlasting,” Virgil replied with a bow.
“You silly boy!” The faery prince laughed as he climbed down the tree to receive his payment before quickly picking a basket full of peaches for the boy and sent him on his merry way.
On the darken path the eldest brother had also stopped to rest coming upon a familiar looking bush and once more finished up what was left in his canteen. He did not mind that his stomach growled and groaned so loudly that it would probably scare off the animals in the forest for he knew with his skills he’d never be able to catch one anyway. Nearby, where the strawberry bush once stood, was a gooseberry bush with pump green and red berries ready for picking but it was off the path.
Logan smiled to himself and gave out an exaggerated sigh, “Dear me, if I cannot find any game to hunt, I might as well take some gooseberries home. It’s not quite filling but at least we’d have something to eat. Oh, but it’s off the path and I am worried faeries might come take me away.”
And just as he said that the beautiful faery prince dressed in blue and gold again appeared next to the bush, giggling at the silly boy’s antics, “Come now traveler you mustn’t be so frighten, least you come to steal from my again?”
“I was not going to steal,” Logan chuckled “I came to deliver my payment and couldn’t help but admire your lovely gooseberry bush and wondered if they’d taste as delicious as your strawberries.”
“I can assure you they do,” The prince said smiling sweetly “and if you grant me extra payment I may throw in a few more, free of charge.”
“Why thank you good sir, I truly appreciate your kindness.” Logan replied with a bow.
“You are a strange boy!” The faery prince giggled once more as he stood to receive his payment before quickly picking a sack full of gooseberries for the boy and sent him on his merry way.
The brothers returned home, arms full of peaches and gooseberries, keeping secret as to what happened in the forest. When their father asked why they returned with no game they replied, “Dear father, we could not find any game to hunt but we did find these peaches and gooseberries. They may hold us down for a little while.”
“Very well.” Their father said gruffly, for he could not truly stay mad at his dear sons. Years passed like this and the boys continued to come back to the forest in search of their faeries before returning home with their earnings. They began to visit the faery princes more and more often though it was less out of necessity for food and more to keep good company.
One day when the young men set out into the forest to visit their faeries, splitting at the fork in the road, Virgil stopped near a familiar tree but did not see the red faery prince sitting on the second lowest branch of the tree. Instead Virgil saw that the tree was bare and the prince was weeping sadly beneath it. Forgetting his and his brother’s promise Virgil all but ran off the path to embraced the prince, fretting over him worriedly.
“My dear prince, what has happened to cause you such sadness?” Virgil asked.
“Oh, it’s awful!” The prince cried “me and my brother are being forced to wed the Goblin King! He is a crew, selfish creature!”
“Why marry both of you?” Virgil asked angrily “Isn’t one enough?”
“I am prince of the North and my brother prince of the South. He threatened our father with war all over the land if he did not give us BOTH over as his grooms.” The prince explained.
“Well, he hasn’t given you over yet,” Virgil said, a clever idea brewing in his head “give me your name so that you may forever belong to me and in turn I shall give you my name so that I may forever belong to you.”
“To give you my name!” The prince exclaimed, scandalized “And you to me? Foolish man, there is much power in a name! To do so would forever bound us together!”
“And I shall happily be bound to you for the rest of my life,” Virgil replied “I’ve loved you for many years dear prince and I can only hope you feel the same.”
The prince smiled, now weeping happy tears as he embraced his lover, “You truly are a silly boy.”
Over at the dark path Logan had also stopped for a rest near a familiar bush and he too did not see his blue faery prince sitting near a grand bush. Instead Logan saw that the bush withered away and the prince was weeping sadly in front of it. He too forgot his and his brother’s promise and all but ran off the path to embraced the prince, fretting over him worriedly.
“My dear prince, what has happened to cause you such sadness?” Logan asked.
“Oh, it’s awful!” The prince sobbed “me and my brother are being forced to wed the Goblin King! He is a crew, selfish creature!”
“Why marry both of you?” Logan asked, furious “That’s absurd, isn’t one enough?”
“I am prince of the South and my brother prince of the North. He threatened our father with war all over the land if he did not give us BOTH over as his grooms.” The prince explained.
“Well, he hasn’t given you over yet,” Logan said, a clever idea brewing in his head “give me your name so that you may forever belong to me and in turn I shall give you my name so that I may forever belong to you.”
“To give you my name!” The prince gasped at the taboo statement “And you to me? Are you mad? There is much power in a name! To do so would forever bound us together!”
“And I shall happily be bound to you for the rest of my life,” Logan replied “I’ve loved you for many years dear prince and I can only hope you feel the same.”
The prince smiled, happy tears tailing down his face as he embraced his lover, “You really are a strange boy.”
They young men returned home late into the night having confessed their secrets to each other and decided to come up with a plan to help their beloveds. But the next morning before even the cockerel could crow there was a mighty roar outside their house. They men and their father leaped out of bed and ran outside to find the ferocious Goblin King stomping about their land. He was large and gnarly with razer teeth and skin like scales and beady yellow eyes.
“Thieves! You have stolen what is rightfully mine!” The Goblin King growled.
“We did no such thing!” The brothers replied.
“Liars! Thieves! Scoundrels!” The Goblin King roared “You have stolen the faery prince of the North and South! They who were rightfully my grooms so belong to me!”
“We did no such thing!” The brothers repeated.
The Goblin King roared so loudly and stomped so horribly the earth began to shake beneath them, “If you do not return that which you stole, I shall kill you both and enslave your father as my servant!”
Their father wept and begged his sons to do as the Goblin King asked but they refused repeating once again that they had not stolen a single thing but were actually given to them.
“That’s right,” Logan said haughtily “we did not steal them but they’ve given themselves to us and we to them.”
“You’re in the wrong here sir!” Virgil said smugly.
“Liars! If that is true then give me their names?” The Goblin King demanded, think himself quite clever.
“We shall not give you their names!” The brothers replied, seeing right through the kinds trick.
The Goblin King roared another ferocious roar, his stomping becoming even more horrible as it nearly knocked over their house. Their father, still very frighten, continued to beg and plead with them to give over the names but still the brothers refused. They still had one more clever plan up their sleeve.
“They also gave us your name Goblin King!” Logan lied, a smile upon his face.
“That’s right,” Virgil chuckled, playing along with his brother’s rues “and if you don’t quit that stomping right now, we shall banish you and your name far, far away!”
The Goblin King stopped his stomping and roaring immediately, “You’re liars! It’s not true!”
“Would you like to find out?” The brothers laughed.
The Goblin King kneeled before them, begging and pleading for them not to banish him, “Please, oh, please, have mercy! I’ll do whatever you ask!”
“Make peace with the faery kingdom and never do another evil deed again!” Logan demanded.
“Either promise us this or we shall banish you forever!” Virgil added.
“Yes, yes, of course!” The Goblin King cried. And so it was done, the Goblin Kings army retreated back to their land, peace was restored to the kingdom, and the brother married their princes and became kings of both the land of the faeries and mortal realm. Giving their father a new farm with plenty of wealth so that he may live comfortably the rest of his life.
And they all lived happily ever after!

Reincarnation auditions
“Right, okay, let’s see what you’ve got. What was your last name?” “Emila.” “Okay Emilia, what are your previous experiences?” “So I’m relatively new. I’ve been a horse tamer, a baker and recently, a primary school teacher.” “Hm, that’s quite a range.” “Well, I wanted to really get a feel for what my calling was, you know? Not settle.” “No, that makes sense. So, do you know what your calling is?” “I like looking after things. Baking wasn’t for me, but the looking after the horses and the kids... I liked that.” “That’s interesting. We have three openings for when you’re scheduled to go back down.” “Only three?” “There’s a high turnover nowadays.” “Right, yes, of course.” “So, we have it on good authority the Hungarian placement is going to end up athletic. All the factors are in place there. Then there’s a position opening up in Morocco, but I don’t think that’s up your alley. A chef, you know.” “What’s the last?” “Hm?” “You said there were three.” “Oh yes. The last is... Somewhat tricky. We haven’t historically had great success with this sort of thing so we do understand if you choose to wait another century before getting back into it.” “But what is it?” “Well, it’s a new position. Very new. Educating the AI that’s due to bloom in fifty years or so.” “I’ll take it.” “Are you sure?” “Yes! It’s like... childcare.” “But a lot more dangerous.” “Well, maybe. But humans can be pretty dangerous.” “Quite. Alright Emilia, just sign here and head on through to - well, you know the drill by now.” “Yes, I do.”

Unicorn
There’s a unicorn on set and nobody is talking about it.
It was funny at first, more in a peculiar, oh-isn’t-this-director-so-eccentric sort of way than a ha-ha way but we worked in show business. It wasn’t the weirdest thing most of us had seen by a long shot. We sort of assumed it had gotten lost on the way to another studio considering we were shooting a gritty character study not a fantasy kids flick. It resisted all attempts to shoo it into the yard so we figured someone would come to collect it at some point.
They didn’t and that was when the problems really started. First of all, horses poop. I’m not sure if a unicorn is a breed of horse or a different species all together but their pooping habits are astonishingly similar. There was no shortage of it and our runners were only willing to put up with so much shit as it were.
Second of all, as was typical, we had a buffet for lunch. Nothing too fancy but several tables filled with enough food to fill the stomachs of warehouse of extremely active people. It wasn’t just the salad the unicorn took, chewing with an expression of extreme disinterest to the fuss around it. It bit a yogurt pot, sending the substance flying everywhere. It also took grapes, three apples and a script someone had balanced on the corner while filling their plate.
Ha-ha, we said, looking uneasily at each other. The director. So odd. It was Cecelia who finally got up the courage to radio him to collect his pet, pressing her headset close to her ear. Her expression of surprise was clear to everyone. “Um. He says first of all there’s no such thing as unicorns and second of all, even if there was, he doesn’t have one.”
We all looked at the horse. The horn looked pretty damn real, glittering with a slight air of menace. None of us particularly felt the need to go and test if the thing was glued on. We did not have the insurance for that.

Amelia band AU
The practice room was one that was undoubtedly hers. She pervaded every inch of it. In return for this, she loved it, utterly. Especially at times like this, in the autumn evenings. Gold light poured in through the window, bathing the room in an orange glow. The rugs that hung on the wall, threadbare and old in the light of day became beautiful tapestries. Dust motes danced in the air, peaceful before the storm of music.
Her routine when she entered was the same. First she would trace her fingers across the bookshelves of music, as though she might pick one up. Then she would decide if the windows were to be open or shut or if the radiators needing stirring into life. Amelia wholeheartedly believed that for the best forms of creation, one had to be comfortable.
Then, rituals complete, she would finally pick up her bass and settle into the best part of her day. Curved over her bass, hair shining in the sun, she became someone she liked when she played; her hands seeming clever and quick, her accompanying voice seeming sweet and sure. Music was transformation magic. The pain that accompanied it was simply the cost, whether that was the formation of callouses on previously soft fingers or simply the mortifying ordeal of being known. She wrote her own songs and so had nowhere to hide. She couldn’t even hide behind her cloud of orange hair because of the insistent microphone. Both a tormentor and a rescuer, that was the stage. It was the only place where she never felt any doubt, any terror. The lights shielded her from the sight of the audience and she could only feel them, the energy of a hundred people all here for the same thing. She didn’t get the same hit from watching her spotify listens go up and youtube videos only made her obsess over the look of her arms, her freckles, her stomach. This was pure. It was just her and it was enough.

FAQ
Updated: 09/09/21
On the Subject of Contacting Me:
Asks and mail are always appreciated and well loved, however, if for whatever reason you feel uncomfortable posting on Tumblr or need excessive space to send in anything, you can always shoot me an email!
On the Subject of Other Social Media:
AO3: thestorytellerofkpop
On the Subject of Writing:
Q: Are your requests open?
A: At the current time yes, requests are open! However, I pick and chose what requests I’d like to do, so I may or may not do your request.
Q: Okay...so why do you have requests open then if you may/may not do mine?
A: Because people do send in great ideas and I want to write them! However, some requests don’t inspire me like others do, which is why I don’t write everything I receive. It’s like choosing what music to listen to: as much as I love BTS and EXO, sometimes I just really want to listen to some Bowie or Queen, you get me?
Q: How do I send in a request?
A: You can send in an ask, an email, or a submission! They’ll all end up with me either way.
Q: What groups do you write/will take requests for?
A: I predominately write all my stories and reactions for BTS and EXO! However, for moodboards and drabbles I do BTS, EXO, and other groups such as:
SHINee
Big Bang
NCT
Seventeen
GOT7
Super Junior
VIXX
Really for moodboards and drabbles I’ll write for all KPOP groups! The ones listed above are just a few of my favorite groups~
Q: What won’t you write about?
A: I won’t write about anyone under 18, international age. As of 2021, that means anyone born after the year of 2003 is strictly off limits. This includes ship requests. Moodboards are fine, as long as they are not sexual in nature.
I will also not write about: incest, (non blood-related family i.e. step siblings, is okay in my books) vore, or scat. Other than that, go crazy!
Q: Where can I find your Masterlist?
A: Right here~
Q: I see you have a Drabbles section in your Masterlist, do you do drabble games?
A: Yes! When I’m bored I’ll reblog a set of drabble prompts and ask you lovelies to submit in requests for me to write!
Q: When will you do another drabble request game?
A: Whenever I get bored again, which could be tomorrow, next month, or next year.
Q: Do you have a WIP list?
A: Nope! Because I already know I would be bad about updating it. And there’s too many WIP I have...it’d just be a disorganized mess.
Q: What about an Update Schedule?
A: No again, because my writing progression is very sporadic. Some days I can’t stop writing, and other times I won’t write for months. So keeping a WIP list would be almost pointless in my opinion.
Q: When will you update ____?
A: No clue my friend! Hopefully soon!
Q: Will there be a sequel to ____?
A: Normally my stories are one shots, but if there is a (Part One) in the title then yes there more than likely will be a sequel!
Q: I wrote something and need a beta reader...can you help me?
A: Sure! Send it in through the submission function or through email! I’ll proofread and give constructive criticism!
Q: Do you have a fic rec blog?
A: @thestorygiverofkpop
On the Subject of Me:
Q: Who are you?
A: I go by Germane/Storyteller~ My starsign is Scorpio, my Myers-Briggs Type is INFJ, I am Polish/German and I am a female! I normally use she/her pronouns, but you can call me whatever you’d like, I don’t mind!
Q: What’s the origin story of your alias?
A: Two different things factored into me choosing Germane as my main alias. One, my German nationality. Two, I’m a huge history buff and I love studying the World Wars; the Treaty of Saint-Germain was written due to WW1 and is usually forgotten about, even though it was very important in the dissolving of the Austro-Hungarian empire and in helping establish the independent states of Hungary, Poland, Yugoslavia, and Czechoslovakia! Germain + German + ‘e’ = Germane!
Q: How old are you?
A: Old enough. Over 21. Closer in age to BTS’ Jungkook and Taehyung or Seventeen’s Mingyu rather than BTS’ Jin or EXO’s Baekhyun.
Q: Where are you from?
A: I was born in Honolulu, Hawaii in the United States of America! I’ve lived all over the US, due to my Dad’s military career, but I am currently residing in a beach town in Florida~
Q: What do you do...as in, what’s your occupation?
A: I am a full time student and a retail store manager! Currently getting my B.A in Business and History, with the hopes of getting my Masters in Edtech Eduction (adult teaching).
Q: Can I tag you in things like fanart, fic recs, or other fun stuff?
A: Absolutely, please do!
Q: What groups do you stan?
A: BTS, EXO, GOT7, Big Bang, SHINee, Seventeen, NCT, Super Junior, Mamamoo, f(x), SNSD, EXID, VIXX, Block B, B.A.P, Infinite, Monsta X, Ikon, 2NE1, Sistar, Ailee, Hyuna, Beast, Black Pink, CN Blue, 4 Minute, Red Velvet, TVXQ, AKMU, TXT, and so many more!
Q: Who’s your bias in ____ group?
A: For my top tier stanning groups, they are:
BTS: RM
EXO: Suho
GOT7: Yugyeom
SHINee: Taemin...but it was Jonghyun
Big Bang: Daesung
NCT: Mark, Jaehyun, and Johnny
Seventeen: Seungkwan and S.Coups
Super Junior: Heechul
Mamamoo: Hwasa

1. When did you start playing?
5 years ago right in the middle of the Wintersday event.
2. What was your first characters race/class (profession)?
Charr, Ranger, Ash Legion, he is still my main to this day.
3. How many characters do you have?
Let’s see...(i’m not counting the clone character i make videos with, because i’m gonna delete them) 3 charr,1 asura,1 sylvari, 1 human. That makes 6.
4. Whats your favourite race?
Charr
5. Whats your least favourite race?
Norn :T They are humans but big.... If only they had other differences as well.
6. What do you prefer PvE or PVP?
I prefer PvE but i can stand my ground in PvP as well. When i give a c**p about my ranking i’m platina actually. It’s just i’m lazy to keep it up so i always decay to bronze.
7. Have you spent IRL money on the gem shop?
I...aaahh.. yes i’m guilty. To be fair, i actively wanted to support the game in it’s lowest time, because i don’t want it to die like WOW died.
8. Whats your favourite zone?
Quite ironically, the Sylvari zones. I can run through Ascalon 100% blindfolded by now but Caeldon Forest has a calming effect on me.
9. Whats your favourite city?
Hehh... ironically, it’s the Grove. If you stand near the elevator that takes you to the mother tree the game starts this instrumental song that somehow calms me down instantly even when i have the worst of my anger bursts.
10. Whats your favourite PVP map?
SKYHAMMER CALIBRATED TO RED!
11. Whats a piece of gear you always transmute because you love the look of it so much?
My whole set, but my most favourite is the hoodie. It looks damn good on charr. So much so that i don’t mind it taking my Simba-like mane away.
12. How many achievement points do you have?
Up in the 12Ks... dunno the exact number.
13. Is it okay to ask to RP with you?
Ouhhhh... suuure? I haven’t RPd in years tho.
14. Is your guild open to new members?
It’s a hungarians-only guild, sorry :/ (My active one that is, my brother and i inherited REAP and that’s free for anyone)
15. Have you ever been really angry at the game? why?
Maybe not angry, but more annoyed... i’m really annoyed that Arenanet’s LW trailers all depict the commander to be human. I’d really appreciate if every trailer would show the commander be another species, or heck be a woman for a change. For a company hellbent on not taking sides on “what is the commander canonically” they sure do prefer human -_-
16. Do you enjoy jumping puzzles?
I DO!! But not those Ember Bay level nightmare JPs.
17. Whats your best guild wars experience?
I’m not sure what this question means... But like, best memory with the community? Other than mapchat sh*tposting, and when people follow my commandering. Much easier to lead in GW2 than in HotS...
18. Do you have a favourite character from the lore?
Loads. Most of them charr.
19. Is there a class you like the idea of but the gameplay doesn’t match up for you?
Mesmers.... ugh.
20. How far have you made it in SAB (Super Adventure Box) if you had the chance to play it?
All the way GW2 allows :/ Even made it through lvl1 of hardcore mode.
21. Favourite weapon skin?
TWILIGHHHHTTT!! and the Fire-breathing Longbow
22. Do you have a legendary? Which one or ones?
....Twilight...
23. Whats your favourite legendary?
T-...twilight....
24. Is there a race you hate with a passion?
Sentient? Grawl. Non-sentient? Those flying squids.... they are easy to kill but i hate their soundeffects and... looks and... abilities and... i just hate them...
25. What class do you hate to face in PVP?
FKINNNNNN Mesmers....
26. Are there any players you look up to?
If this means celebrity players then no. I have celebrity players i like but look up to? Not really, no...
27. First memorable friend you made through guild wars?
Those that i made are already inactive GW2 players :/ They were the two guild leaders of REAP but they married each other and had a kid last time i checked so... happy for them but the answer is that rn i don’t have GW2 buddies.
28. Do you play with sound on or off?
Sound on!!! Are you kidding??? all the good music and everything? To listen to what? dubstep??? no thanks...
29. Do you stream GW2? If so where can I watch you?
Not streaming, no. I upload youtube videos, following the lore from the charr commander perspective.
30. Are you obsessed with in game fashion?
I wouldn’t say obsessed but i do like my charr lookin’ nice.
31. Do you have a favourite dye?
Top two dye channel: shadow green, left bottom Jalapeno, right bottom Lime. These go on armor sets, my own fashion skin has green/brown/bone color tones, mounts each have what fits them imo.
32. Whats the best glider skin in your opinion?
Well the musical sheets are awesome, but i like the dragon wings glider skins.
33. Have you ever had to block someone?
Yes... trolls on mapchat or scammers.
34. Weirdest map chat experience?
I usually generate the weird on mapchat... but there was this one time i jokingly mentioned someone must be a sylvari because i don’t remember why and they searched me up on the map to prove that they are indeed charr.
35. Do you have 100% map completion on any of your characters?
My main character, yes.
36. What type of player are you? Hardcore, Casual, Semi-hardcore, Barely online.
Well, bit of all. RN barely online because my jobs and hobbies are time consuming. When i have time i’m semi-hardcore. When i’m simply bored i’m casually achivement hunting, when my brother asks me to help out in raid then i need to go hardcore....
37. What are the top three tips you would give someone just starting to play?
I just give one tip but the best tip: play how you like to play. This is a game and you should not have obligations in a game.
38. Best memory in guild wars?
I was one of the first commanders to lead a completely successful Auric Basin mapevent down.
39. Do you stick to one character mostly or are you an altoholic?
I mostly stick to Denalien, but i do have alts and they have their own uses.
40. What bothers you the most about the game if anything?
That people can’t seem to grasp that i want to play as a RANGER not a druid or soulbeast... This is also the reason why i don’t raid. Because rangers don’t seem to have a spot in them. I like having my pet run around me, use them as meatshields, tanks, healers or extra bit of dps, or to kite enemies.
So many rangers forget that pet skills are skills too, USE THEM BRAHS.

Mueller, in 2011, outlined the international organized crime threat
Robert S. Mueller, III. Federal Bureau of Investigation
New York City, New York January 27, 2011
Good morning; it is good to be here today.
I first met with you in late 2002. We were all still coming to grips with the reality of terrorism here at home. We were undergoing a shift in mindset, re-thinking our place in the world and the dangers we faced.
Since that time, we have seen a number of dramatic shifts–not just in our perspectives on terrorism, but in the way we learn, communicate, and conduct business. Shifts in the political, social, and economic climate. Shifts in our way of life.
Today, we communicate by texting, tweeting, and Skyping. We take pictures without film, we read books without pages, and every six-year-old has a smart phone. We share the sundry details of our lives on Facebook. Well, most of us do. For some reason, no one wants to be “friended” by the Director of the FBI.
YouTube made its debut just five years ago. Today, 35 hours of video are uploaded to YouTube every minute. Most of them feature someone by the name of Justin Bieber. At my age, I have to wonder, who the heck is this kid, and why can't he get a haircut?
These shifts are the result of globalization and technology. And we have all felt the ripple effects.
We in the FBI have seen a marked shift in criminal and terrorist threats.
We not only face threats from Al Qaeda and its affiliates, we confront homegrown terrorism. These individuals are harder to identify. They can easily connect with other extremists on the Internet, and they may be highly capable operationally. For this reason, terrorism will remain our top priority.
But we cannot discount shifting criminal threats, including those posed by lone offenders, such as the attack in Tucson. How do we find and stop an individual who would take up arms against his own community? We must do everything we can to prevent any such attack.
We also face evolving threats from violent gangs, computer hackers, child predators, and white collar criminals. This morning, I want to focus on one such evolving threat–that of organized crime.
Some believe that organized crime is a thing of the past. Unfortunately, this is not the case. Traditional criminal syndicates still con, extort, and intimidate American citizens.
As you know, just last week we arrested nearly 130 members of La Cosa Nostra in New York, New Jersey, and New England. We will continue to work with our state and local partners to end La Cosa Nostra's lifelong practice of crime and undue influence.
But the playing field has changed. We have seen a shift from regional families with a clear structure, to flat, fluid networks with global reach. These international enterprises are more anonymous and more sophisticated. Rather than running discrete operations, on their own turf, they are running multi-national, multi-billion dollar schemes from start to finish.
We are investigating groups in Asia, Eastern Europe, West Africa, and the Middle East. And we are seeing cross-pollination between groups that historically have not worked together. Criminals who may never meet, but who share one thing in common: greed.
They may be former members of nation-state governments, security services, or the military. These individuals know who and what to target, and how best to do it. They are capitalists and entrepreneurs. But they are also master criminals who move easily between the licit and illicit worlds. And in some cases, these organizations are as forward-leaning as Fortune 500 companies.
This is not “The Sopranos,” with six guys sitting in a diner, shaking down a local business owner for $50 dollars a week. These criminal enterprises are making billions of dollars from human trafficking, health care fraud, computer intrusions, and copyright infringement. They are cornering the market on natural gas, oil, and precious metals, and selling to the highest bidder.
These crimes are not easily categorized. Nor can the damage, the dollar loss, or the ripple effects be easily calculated. It is much like a Venn diagram, where one crime intersects with another, in different jurisdictions, and with different groups.
How does this impact you? You may not recognize the source, but you will feel the effects. You might pay more for a gallon of gas. You might pay more for a luxury car from overseas. You will pay more for health care, mortgages, clothes, and food.
Yet we are concerned with more than just the financial impact. These groups may infiltrate our businesses. They may provide logistical support to hostile foreign powers. They may try to manipulate those at the highest levels of government. Indeed, these so-called “iron triangles” of organized criminals, corrupt government officials, and business leaders pose a significant national security threat.
Let us turn for a moment to the link between transnational organized crime and terrorism. If a terrorist cannot obtain a passport, for example, he will find someone who can. Terrorists may turn to street crime-and, by extension, organized crime-to raise money, as did the 2004 Madrid bombers.
Organized criminals have become “service providers.” Could a Mexican group move a terrorist across the border? Could an Eastern European enterprise sell a Weapon of Mass Destruction to a terrorist cell? Likely, yes. Criminal enterprises are motivated by money, not ideology. But they have no scruples about helping those who are, for the right price.
Intelligence and partnerships are key to our success in countering these threats.
In the past nine years, we in the FBI have shifted from a law enforcement agency to a national security service that is threat-driven and intelligence-led.
With organized crime, we are using intelligence to expand upon what we already know, from phone, travel, and financial records to extensive biographies of key players. And we are sharing this information with our partners around the world.
But we are also building a long-term strategy for dismantling these enterprises. Last year, we set up two units, called Threat Focus Cells, to target Eurasian organized crime. The first focuses on the Semion Mogilevich Organization; the second on the Brother's Circle enterprise.
For those of you not familiar with either group, their memberships are large, their reach is global, and their scope of operations is broad, from weapons and drug trafficking to high-stakes fraud and global prostitution. If left unchecked, the resulting impact to our economy and our security will be significant. Indeed, Semion Mogilevich is on the FBI Top Ten Most Wanted List, and he will remain so until he is captured.
These Threat Focus Cells include FBI personnel from the Criminal, Cyber, Counterintelligence, and International Operations divisions. They also include our partners in the law enforcement and intelligence communities, both at home and abroad.
We are also taking a hard look at other groups around the world, such as West African and Southeast Asian organized crime. We are sharing that intelligence with our partners, who, in turn, will add their own information. The goal is to combine our resources and our expertise to gain a full understanding of each group, and to better understand what we must do, together, to put them out of business.
But even the best intelligence is often not enough. We must present a united front.
Joseph Petrosino, a detective in the New York Police Department, was one of the first to fight organized crime, in the early 1900s. He was a legend in law enforcement circles, and he was certainly one of New York's finest.
This five-foot-three-inch Italian immigrant was a one-man intelligence collection platform and undercover operations unit. Petrosino reportedly went undercover as a blind beggar, a sanitation worker, and a health inspector. Along the way, he put a rather large dent in the operations of the Black Hand, with the support of Teddy Roosevelt. But in 1909, when Petrosino traveled to Sicily, he was gunned down in the street.
Petrosino had a limited network of support here at home, and no network of which to speak overseas. He was the leader of a small, inexperienced team fighting large, deep-rooted organizations. And by all accounts, he was a marked man, on borrowed time.
Fortunately, times have changed.
Last October, with our state and local partners, we arrested 52 individuals-many of whom were alleged members of an Armenian-American syndicate-for health care fraud amounting to more than $163 million dollars. Among those arrested was an individual believed to be what is known as a “Thief-in-Law”-the elite in today's world of organized crime. This is the first time in nearly 15 years that a known “Thief-in-Law” has been arrested on a federal charge.
We have also built a solid network of support with our international partners. We have more than 60 Legal Attaché offices overseas, where agents and analysts work closely with their foreign counterparts, sharing intelligence and investigating cases together.
In Budapest, FBI agents have worked side-by-side with the Hungarian National Police for more than 10 years, targeting Eurasian organized crime. Together, we have identified and arrested criminals from Bulgaria, Poland, Romania, and Russia, among others.
Through these partnerships-these friendships-we are on a first-name basis with thousands of officers around the world, all of whom share the same goal-keeping their citizens safe from every threat, every day.
Nearly three weeks have passed since the tragic attack in Tucson. We still feel the impact of that attack-and the idea that one individual could inflict such damage.
Yet we also confront terrorists who seek to inflict the greatest damage possible. Gang members who cultivate crime and violence. Computer hackers who target our financial networks. And organized criminals who will stop at nothing to make money.
Congresswoman Giffords' husband, Mark Kelly, is an astronaut. His twin brother, Scott, is the current commander of the International Space Station.
Two days after the attack, from space, Commander Kelly led NASA in a moment of silence. Speaking by radio, he said, “We have a unique vantage point [up] here. …I see a very beautiful planet that seems inviting and peaceful.  Unfortunately, it is not. …[But] we are better than this. We must do better.”
As we all know, a world that is often inviting and peaceful can become violent, even deadly, in the blink of an eye. We may not see the shift, but we certainly feel the impact.
But we are better than the criminals and terrorists we face. Together, we can and we must do better. Together, we must do more, for the American people deserve no less.
Thank you for having me here this morning and for your support over the years. It has been my honor to work with you.
