Look what I got! It’s a model of Donatello from the 1984 comics- when they all wore red masks!

I showed it to my mom- and she goes “Honey, that’s Raphael.” So I explained to her the history of all the turtles. (She looked at me like I was the world’s biggest nerd, which is fair enough.)

It was $30 but totally worth it.

It also includes a comic with Donatello’s best moments EVER in the comics :]

People who are seeing this, enjoy my lovely ramble about video games/video game graphics!

Now, I just wanted to start off with saying that I think it's kind of crazy how advanced some games are. Starting with the character designs all the way down to the game itself, it's kind of crazy. I recently thought about this because of a screenshot I took from Devil May Cry 5. I just can't even explain how beautiful this looks to me.

I currently have this screenshot as my wallpaper on like everything. I've always loved how the Devil May Cry game's look. Of course, most of them are pretty old so they don't look insanely modern, but they're still so fun to look at. I love the scenery in Devil May Cry 4 when you get into the forest.

This section just makes me so happy. It almost gives this feeling of comfort even though they made an attempt to help it seem abandoned. This forest reminds me of those liminal spaces for some reason. It's just the small things that bring me that comfort. Of course, Nero sticks out like a sore thumb in this area, but I still really enjoyed seeing it while playing the game.

Another game that I LOVE the scenery to is Resident Evil: Village (8). The game itself isn't great (I know I'm sorry 😭), but I still enjoyed looking around while playing. The small details that they really paid attention to helps it a lot. There are some things that were added that most probably don't notice, yet the section would be different without it. I know this is a basic answer, but my personal favorite area is Castle Dimitrescu.

Like-- LOOK AT THIS?? It looks absolutely beautiful! The fog, the lighting, the models. I just love it so much. The things Capcom does for their games, especially the Resident Evil ones, is insane. Their RE Engine is such a cool software (that I suck at using!) I just really love Capcom. Their games are great gameplay wise + design wise. They're an awesome game making company, and if you don't know much about them (you probably do because we're here but whatever), I really recommend checking out some of their games! New and old games both seem to still really get that good feeling you get from playing a video game.

Saw this screenshot of Mulder’s paycheck in the episode Monday. His gross pay was $1792 in 1999. Adjusted for inflation that is $3,310 today. Let’s say this is a biweekly pay check, this means his annual gross pay about $86k. Let’s say he is in the 24% tax bracket then that means his annual salary is about $113k give or take withholdings. Not bad for a G-Man. This seems on par with what Glassdoor lists for Special Agent salaries today. I think he could afford a few more baseball sessions with Scully!

It’s ok gamers is me the McEpic science man McEpel. Water isn’t wet but it feels like it is because of our senses if you didn’t have senses it would probably feel like nothing just a lil cold if the water is cold. If something where wet it would have to be soaked in a liquid or contain a liquid. Water is just the cause of something being wet so water can’t be wet because it can’t be soaked or contain its self!

I went to this antique/second hand shop in Idaho today, I went in with high hopes of finding TMNT stuff, even better ROTTMNT stuff, and my hopes were fulfilled!

They had tons of TMNT stuff, including 2012 stuff and 1987, 2003 and much more!

They only had one Rise thing which was Baron Draxum… and of course I got it.

CHAT I'VE CAUGHT THE BUG I WANNA START COLLECTING DICE NOW BUT IDK WHERE TO BEGIN

So I don't have many options in terms of stores in my area BUTTTTTT there's this really cool small store in another place here in my country and it sells a bunch of stuff like figurines, video games, collector's items (including dice) and they do have an online store but I'm not fully sure about the prices 😭😭😭 I could also go on Etsy but my mom doesn't have an account there and doesn't really know how it works (my godmother/aunt does tho cuz she has a shop there but I'm not sure) so that leaves me the option of heading to TEMU KAJSJSHDH (feel free to make fun of me /hj) and it would seem like the best idea for me personally since they actually have a wide variety of dice for good prices and I'll check the ratings and reviews to make sure at least some of them are legit but I still dunno...would my collection still be legit if I bought them off of there? AAAAAAAA
