Daniel can't also help but to stare at your focused yet cute face when you try to draw on your sketchbook/paper (he'll stop if you find it creepy but he can't help it sometimes). He's really astonished by how you illustrate something with passion and take it to the next level even if it's just a doodle. Danny also finds it really smart and creative if you put meaning behind your drawings, whether it's sad or happy! He really likes to see the way you view things in life and express your thoughts on a piece of paper/canvas and he also can't help but to shower you with lots of compliments "Y/N It looks so cool! Keep up the good work!"

Daniel will also appreciate it if you use him as your reference! His heart will melt if you initiate to sketch him especially his original body. He felt so loved and cared about when you, his special someone sees the beauty in him no matter what shape, form or size he's in. He'll look at you like 🥺👉👈"Wa-Wait really? Are you sure?" It really boosts his confidence more and in return, he'll not only compliment your works but also everything about you that's just so amazing to him.

If you're the shy type who won't show off your artworks to him, he'll definitely respect your privacy and space though he can't help but to be curious sometimes. And if you're the messy and inorganized type, expect him to just randomly check out your sketchbook especially when you both clean your shared apartment (don't scold him though he just picked it up on either the floor or the dining table which where it shouldn't be lmao). "So-Sorry Y/N I didn't know what I was doing sorry!" Though he will feel relieved when you just simply brushed it off saying it's fine but he won't stop apologizing when he can feel that you're upset about it. Overall Danny's supportive about your hobby as long as you don't illustrate something too weird. He wouldn't mind if you teach him the basics or if you also you use one of his friends as your model/reference (especially Duke or his mom). He just loves you so much as much as you love him too (I need a Danny in my life right now).

Zack Lee (Lee Jin Sung)

This man will talk about you to literally everybody 24/7 (in good and really romantic way of course).

Zack's so amazed by everything you do even if it's the simplest things, so what more if you make a masterpiece everybody should be proud of ;)?

He'll also ask if he can take a look of your sketches and he'll be SUPERRR HAPPY when you showed him your sketchbooks and random doodles. Zack's so fascinated by how you illustrate things in your art style, making him showering you with lots of compliments. "You're so good at this! You really are a perfect person!". Trust me when I say that just like Daniel if you asked him to draw him as a reference, his heart will not only beat a hundred times faster but he's also going to explode from your request. His someone asking him to sketch him? His day couldn't get so much better. Just like Danny, Zack will also look at you with that puppy eyes when you ask him to draw him "Really?🥺👉👈" AHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHA xD. He will also tease you about it. Him posing with funny poses while you force yourself to not laugh (he's also doing it to make you smile trust me). "Y/N you think I'm attractive?" If you're the shy type, he'll be okay if you don't want to show your drawings to him. But he'll be definitely be sad and crying inside since he feel like you don't trust him enough lmao (though he'll still respect your wishes). And he will also sneak up to see your works when it's just chilling on your desk or table, but he'll be so sorry and crying when you caught him touching your things without your permission. "SORRY Y/N I WON'T DO IT AGAINNNN!!! PLEASE FORGIVE MEEEE!!!. However, he'll be also relieved when you're okay with him checking out your sketchbook, though next time he'll ask for your permission though! (Always asking you with those puppy eyes. Vasco really loves your drawings so much! He's always curious on how you managed to sketch pretty illustrations especially cute animals like kittens and puppies! He has that same puppy expression while his eyes sparkle as he views your artworks in awe. He's so confused when he tries to draw the same as you but it always end up looking a bit weird lmao (But we still love him).

He'll talk about you to Burn Knuckles especially Jace. Their reactions will be so priceless. No one had made Vasco smile and made his day better other than them! "VASCO, YOU TALKED TO A GIRL/BOY???!" "YEAH! SHE'S/HE'S SO PRETTY/HANDSOME, KIND AND SHE'S/HE'S A DRAWER!" "You mean artist right?" Jace asked as Vasco nodded with a cute smile. "Yeah! her/his drawings are so amazing!" But after getting to know each other and getting closer, he will ask again if he can take a look of your sketches and if you agreed so, he'll appreciate you for trusting him and he'll give you lots of compliments so that you can show him your other drawings and he'll have that huge and cute eyes 🥺👉👈 while his mouth his gaped open in shock about how your drawings are so pretty. And if you're the messy type or you constantly misplace your things, he'll always find your sketchbook where you left it and he'll shout at you with that childish yet deep voice as it echoes in the school hallways holding it up while waving his hand to catch your attention. Jay Hong (Hong Jae Yol)

This man would be so protective and proud of you.

Jay finds it really interesting when you illustrate something beautiful while being effortless. If you're seatmates with him, he would slightly look at you sketching random things while the teacher discusses another boring lesson. Him multi-tasking with him just listening to the teacher's ramble while his eyes are focused on you drawing on your scratch paper instead of taking notes. Both of you may get into trouble for not listening but since Jay's a top student he can help you catch up with the topics (Istg I saw him on the anime and webtoon not taking notes down while there's a lesson yet he's manages to be in the top how does he do that?)

Headcannon: You and Jay would communicate with cute and silly drawings. For example you and Jay would exchange notes with you asking him how he's feeling or if he's been doing well with a cute cat doodle with a confused/concerned expression plastered on its face with a question mark. And he would respond back with a much simpler drawing of a dog smiling (considering how much he's scared of dogs, well he used to be), a sign/message that he's okay as the conversation will go on :) He also respects it if you're a bit shy of showing your drawings to him not wanting you to feel uncomfortable but he would also appreciates it when you initiate to show it to him. If you're the messy type he'll also check your sketchbook before giving it back to you. Though he will often ask permission if he can check your artworks out.

He also really likes your artstyle! No matter what style or genre of drawing you have you'll never fail to amaze him. He would also appreciate it when you draw him! I promise you he will put all of your illustrations that you gave him on expensive frames and he'll take care and preserve it like it's a delicate piece of masterpiece that needs to be put and hang on a museum (I love him so much).

"Lunar's SECRET PLAN" Episode! (Me Gushing Over an LAES Episode)

MY GOD, I ADORED today's episode of the Lunar and Earth show. Dazzle being a helpful bean, Sun being a big brother (no pun intended), Earth being a goofball, Lunar being a lit--UH, I mean, fun-sized trickster grump, GIANTS IN THE DAYCARE--I LOVE IT!

And I thought Lunar and Earth helping Sun with his goose magic was funny! Earth's "sibling dynamic" line is so true. It's practically her catchphrase by now, but I sure ain't complainin'! :D

Lunar actually did fool me the first time he did the thing when they were by the ball pit. I didn't even realize he did it again before it became obvious. I'm around 5' 2'' years so I can relate to Lunar's frustration, but if we're small then WE ARE GOING TO BE PROUD OF IT, DAMMIT! And he DID have a bit of a sense of humor about it, mimicking the Jaws theme when in the ball pit after Earth pointed out that only the top of his head was visible.

And MY GOD, Sun/Happy Boy was SUCH a butt of a big brother. XD It was freaking funny how merciless he was with the teasing. I mean, he started it around less than one minute into the video! Maybe he was a bit mean, but he was genuinely apologetic when he thought he went too far.

It was nice that Sun was having a good day, joking and laughing. I mean, he was ACTUALLY laughing, not just wheezing or huffing a few times. I'm super proud of him. His problems and trauma aren't over, but he's still come a long way.

NOW FOR EARTH: I LOVE Earth's sense of humor. I love how hammy and silly she is, first was the whole "L-L-L-L-LUNAAAR~!" from the last laes lore episode, then today it was her "I have been learning PROOOGRAMMING!"

I wish I was half as confident as she is about putting the energy into the silliness. It's in my range of humor, and sometimes I can be hammy in front of others but I can also backtrack. I just get worried people think it's stupid instead of silly and that I'm being stupid. I just need people who I trust to really know me, I guess.

All right, bit of a late start on liveblogging tonight but let's see if we can make a little more progress on Rakha's terrible, horrible, no-good, very bad day.

How you doing, Rakha?

Yep.

Some meta points to start off:

Point 1: We're reaching the point in early Act 3 where a lot of things start happening very fast for a little while. We have two back-to-back pretty important long rest things that can happen here - Orin's infiltration and Wyll's showdown with Mizora. As I learned on Hector's run, Wyll's showdown takes priority on the next long rest if you have talked to her after the coronation, but for Rakha I think I'd like to have Orin's shit happen before anything else.

While I am mostly trying to be pretty loyal to in-game events for Rakha without manipulating things too much, I am going to do a little metagaming here to line everything up in the order I want it to happen.

The ficlet I posted earlier today is set the night after the Gortash business, which implies at least a night's rest before everything else starts going off the rails. So we're going to do a few extra things before actually LR-ing and, for story purposes, say they're happening the next day, and then trigger Orin's invasion afterwards. Then we'll talk to Mizora so that all of Wyll's stuff unravels afterwards.

There's no way to get to the Lower City without talking to Mizora, which limits our options somewhat. So I'm inclined to say that after everyone's pretty uncomfortable night post-Gortash-revelations, Jaheira makes the executive decision that they're heading straight to Danthelon's the next morning to get Harper backup before anyone can get into more trouble.

So we'll do that first. Maybe also Sharess's Caress, since we currently have two short rests to play with and there's only one bit of combat in Sharess's that I can think of. And then we're off to Orin Crazytown.

Point 2: With regards to the actual kidnapping - Hector had Lae'zel taken, so in an ideal world I would want to have someone else taken with Rakha. However... I really don't think Halsin or Gale or even Minthara would have nearly the same impact for Rakha as Lae'zel, so I'm going to once again do some metagaming to make sure that happens.

Because basically Act 3 is going to be about heaping more and more bullshit on Rakha and everyone around her. XD

Point 3: I don't know exactly when Wyll's romance scene pops, but the timing might end up being rather strange. I suspect his Act 3 romance is probably sweet as hell, bc it's Wyll, but as things stand right at this moment, neither Rakha nor Wyll are very much in a sweet mood.

So there is a non-zero chance that, when I reach it, I will go through it, save all the necessary caps, and then hold onto it and drop it into the story later in Act 3 when it fits better tonally. We'll play this by ear.

Point 4: The final point is that, with Hector, I definitely beelined straight for Minsc and then Orin pretty much as quick as I could, because I wanted both of them settled in camp ASAP. But with Rakha (especially since with Florrick rescued we're not under a time clock on anything), I'm going to try to be a lot more deliberate about letting her just wander into things and go where she would be inclined to go based on her own knowledge. There are three reasons for this:

I'd like to try to experience Act 3 in a slightly different order.

There's a LOT of random side crap happening in Act 3 and the easiest way to rationalize Rakha bothering with most of it is her being lost and stumbling across it while looking for something else. (That said, some less important stuff still might end up getting skipped.)

The showdown with Orin feels like it's probably a (if not the) climax point for the Durge storyline, so it seems best not to rush to it more than necessary.

So yeah. That's where my head is at on Rakha's story. :D So let's get rolling.

Beth's confession/latest audio made me wonder (both angst and not): 1. Has anyone ever stopped being Mates? Like, bonded together, then one or both parties decided to separate? Or is this something that Shifters are fairly instinctual/otherwise connected with that it would never happen? (Even very rarely) (To clarify: I do not mean if one member dies, obviously that happens and it's very sad)

2. If they do - what happens then? I'd imagine that fucks with the Pack quite a bit.

3. Has anyone ever had multiple Mates? Poly or otherwise (like a Widow/Widower finding a new Mate later in life)?

4. We gotta hear about how it went with Beth telling everyone about her and Seer lol Please indulge

5. Can you tell us more about Simon, Ro, and Claire "taking Seer aside" to let them know they're family? Or is there a possibility of this being an audio in the future? It's just really sweet and I'd love to hear more <3

Yes, sometimes mates will separate if things come to that. They are allowed to separate, there's no law or social expectation preventing them, but it is still a very rare case all the same.

If and when that happens, it does disrupt the pack quite a bit, and often one of the pair will leave the pack entirely. Things do settle after a bit, but not without some ripple effects within the pack.

Yep! Poly couples do exist within mate structures. And people can take a new mate if their previous one passed away, though it's more common for people to stay mateless, usually.

The pack was ecstatic! Though many already figured those two had chosen each other as mates, they just hadn't gone public with it. Simon was so proud!

After dinner one night at Simon's place, he pulled them off to the side while Beth was setting the table. He sat them on the sofa and gave them a proper welcome into the family. All fatherly pats on the back and a soft "Welcome home, kiddo" for good measure. Ro caught Seer after they came to a pack meeting and tried roping them into a scheme with Tristan so that was all the welcome the needed. And Claire was the last to do it. One night she and Seer were waiting at the Den while Beth was running late from work. The two sat together on the couch and Claire welcomed them as an honorary pack member.

Seer definitely called her out on working too hard after they caught Claire pulling an all-nighter. Plus a little guilt tripping goes a long way in the "Ya know, I feel like I'd be a real member of the pack if I got to spend time with my pack's Alpha, plus I don't feel like I'd be. good mate if I didn't get to know my mate's best friend." type way. It worked exceptionally well

So. I got asked about one of my minor OC’s for Super Sticks. That is a first. A daunting first, but a challenge to respond I will not deny.

Typically, I try not to focus on my OCs, it just seems awkward sometimes. Unless, I guess, I happen to have put a lot of particular thought into the character and am happy with it. The more built the OC is, the longer that character has been created, the more comfortable I am with writing said character more frequently and offering the OC more chances to shine.

Yes, I would say that I prefer to write the main cast more than I do OCs. I feel like I know our dear and beloved sticks better than I do my own characters, which is strange to say because I technically know my own OCs better than everyone else- 

I don’t remember where I was going with this. Maybe just insight on how I think or something- I’ve forgotten-

Anyway. Madame Pop-Up, or Poppy. 

Welp, you better get your strangling hands ready then- XD She, uh. She is not very sorry and doesn’t feel bad. There was some mild sympathy and wince of genuine “Oooh, owch” when the building fell on Chosen, but- Other than that little moment there, she is generally uncaring to what she does. 

But hey! You know what could fix that? A LENGTHY CHARACTER ARC- [*is cut off*]

Uhhh, I actually didn’t know how to answer this for the longest time, and I had to think on it for a few days. As I mentioned prior, I have a habit of not including OCs into very many scenes, and sometimes they are all harder to write than the main cast!! XD

There are a few OC exceptions, in which I can write them very well. 

Jade, for example, from A Second’s Tale. He’s shown up enough times, I have enough plans for his story, it’s good.

Dune is pretty easy, as he’s a quiet stick. XD 

I also, of course, have other fandom original characters, and additionally zero fandom original Scarlett works with original characters. [Aside from “The Last Veracion”, most are unposted because I deem them really terrible in composition, or they are incompletely written. WHEN YOU HAVE THE ENTIRE STORY IN YOUR BRAIN BUT THE WORDS DON’T WANNA WORD-]

Poppy is an eccentric figure. The crazy aunt, you might say. She can be a little bit of a sadist... and, uh, not in the silly “whump angst torture suffer on this fictional character” way, that I am. 

Which does make for a good villain character! I needed that.

Poppy and Primal were really only friends because of Ballista, originally. Ballista and Poppy had known each other first, having met some time before Agent’s leg incident. Just around the time Ballista was caught and arrested for trying to fulfill Vic’s order, and Agent had already left Rocket with Hazard, Primal ended up meeting Poppy officially when the advertisement-wielding stick came wondering where her enthusiastic mini friend had gone off to.

They, Poppy and Ballista, probably had made plans for that day or something, I don’t know. I never needed to think on this too much, since it wasn’t relevant to the major plot.

Will she stay as a villain? Uhm. I... Maybe??

You know what? I do not know yet. It is definitely one of the things about Arc Two that is not fleshed out just yet, that I really should get to thinking and deliberating on soon so that I can ominously hint at it- XD

For fun of course. And also, I love it when the audience suffers from lack of information- /silly

Madame Pop-Up will definitely annoy Ballista, if a nice opportunity comes along. [I have some scenes planned already] As the plotline may have suggested, she is quite the cautious individual, an opportunist that seizes the right moment when it comes and shys away from things that hold too much risk. 

A more covert villain than most. She doesn’t have too much an interest in pillaging and robbery anyway, just... teasing. She’s more of a bully villain than a grabby one.

NOW. Primal finally embracing heroism, and going on the climax of her redemption that I haven’t finished fully planning yet- THAT. THAT is definitely the sort of thing that would affect Madame Pop-Up, as the two are much closer now than previously, having bonded during Ballista’s imprisonment.

This is exactly the thing that could help along and switch the tides over for Madame’s own character arc, whether it be a full redemption, or at least an acceptance of what her friends’, Ballista’s and Primal’s both, chosen [*COUGH-LAUGH*] paths are. 

Much of this planning still needs to be done, and some of it will inevitably end up being a spoiler, so I shouldn’t outloud plan too much on this Ask here. I SHALT PLAN IN A PRIVATE DOCUMENT THOUGH, I SHALT PLAN THE THINGS AND ALL OF THE THINGS- And maybe with my sister, or a close friend of mine, eehehehe.

Taking Primal’s decision as a betrayal, giving Madame Pop-Up the opposite of a redemption and instead, a full on RAMPAGE of villainy and anger and betraayyaaal, is also an epic idea. I may actually save that in my brain cogs for Arc Three as an emergency, uh,  I-need-a-force-against-the-protags option? [And I’ll obviously mention the idea came from you hehehe] 

:3 Currently, I have no antagonist for Arc Three, as Arc Two is going to be brought to a neat conclusion. [albeit with a big cliffhangery scene- *cough*]

But for now, yes. Arc Two is gonna tie a lot of things up at the very end, even with as chaotic and all-over-the-place as the journey may be initially, leaving us with an ending containing no extra or hidden main big-bads running amok. Sure, there will be small-time ones, of course, but not enough to be the cause of enough trouble that in turn would merit a big journey of entertainment whump-

Now, the reason Madame would not be the antagonist of Arc Two, is literally because there is a big bad(s) already. I just... haven’t yet... gotten far enough along for that to show very much.

Hi there :) I'm sorry to bother you but this is very important because you are now the chosen Ace who can give me their perspective on Zouey. I have adamantly argued that Zouey can be read as being on the ace spectrum but some of my friends say that's not realistic. My arguments: - He gets aroused by things that are removed from reality (hentai) and in moments where there is no risk of actually having to be sexual with the person (Teena as a model) but he struggles to enjoy the "real" thing -> sounds very aegosexual to me. - He says sex is for everybody but him. Later he changes that to "sex might be for him if it's combined with love" -> that could either hint at him being demi or it could mean that he is willing to have sex out of love for his significant other (as many aces do). - He can give pleasure and touch others but doesn't like to be touched -> this feels ace to me but I can't really explain why - Even when he touches Teena, he often struggles with things that are "more" sexual (like touching genitals) -> could be that he feels strong sensual attraction towards Teena. He also seems to distance himself from the reality of the situation by escaping into the fantasy of hentai, another thing many aces do because the reality of sex actually turns them off. - He thinks he wants to have penetrative sex with Teena but then doesn't enjoy it

Their strongest counter argument is that Zouey gave Teena a bj in episode 1. Now, I see their point. And I don't think Zouey being acespec is the only valid interpretation of his character. I like some of the other interpretations just as much. BUT I hate when people tell me that he can't possibly be on the ace spec. We have so little representation as it is and telling us that a character who speaks to us actually can't be like us feels shitty. I'm ace myself but my experience with sex is quite different from his. From your post it seems that you can relate to Zouey a lot. So if you feel comfortable sharing your perspective, I'm sure that would be valuable not only for me but for other aces as well. Thanks for making that post! And regarding Zouey... welp, you asked, so I will deliver but be prepared for a longer essay XD

Let's start with the basics for those who are not quite familiar with asexuality: asexuality is a broad spectrum with many different nuances, gray areas and so on.

In the asexual community (as well as in some others), a distinction is made between romantic and sexual orientation. It is therefore possible to love a person romantically and still have no or only very limited sexual desires.

So: Asexual people fall in love with others, they want romantic or platonic relationships, but mostly without feeling sexual attraction for them.

Asexuality doesn't always mean that a person doesn't have sex. Yep, it may sound strange at first, but it's true. Many asexual people satisfy themselves or have sex, e.g. because they want to have a child, but nothing more. Some asexuals who are sex-positive or sex-neutral, i.e. who are not repulsed by the idea of sexual activity or are simply indifferent to it, have had sex or participate in sexual acts.

So an asexual who has sex will not suddenly become homosexual or straight, they can still feel like they belong to the ace spectrum. There are a variety of labels that break it all down and all fall under the ace umbrella, like placiosexual, lithosexual, cupiosexual, but to make a long story short, for many of us it's just too complicated :) So many just prefer "Ace-spec" or Ace-spectrum, but that's a personal preference of myself and a few ace friends of mine. It's nice to know the labels, but usually just too complicated for everyday use XD

And I also rank Zouey's blowjob from EP.1 on the ace spectrum. You very aptly mentioned the point that Zouey gets aroused by things that aren't part of reality. I think in EP 1 the blowjob went in exactly that direction.

For Zouey, as we also find out later, Teena is first of all a beautiful work of art himself. In his imagination, he sees him more as a statue that he can touch than as a person. Only when he runs into the bathroom does this bubble burst for the moment.

Zouey seems very overwhelmed to me, which I can understand, because he normally only experiences sexual stimulation from two-dimensional figures. Teena, however, crosses the line. For Zouey, he is at first only a two-dimensional figure on his easel, but at the same time he exists in real life. Zouey, who only knows sexual attraction based on hentai or pictures, is now confused as to whether this means that he finds Teena or only Teena's picture (similar to Jump's) attractive.

At this moment, however, I don't think he really got anything like sexual arousal or desire from Teena himself. It was, as I said, initially only Teena's picture that aroused him, the confusion comes because Teena runs after him and Zouey is undecided whether he should treat him like an aesthetic art object or like a human being and whether he would still find him attractive as a human being at all.

Zouey decides in favor of safety. He wants to return to the art room, back in front of his canvas and the distance he knows and feels comfortable with.

The blowjob is initiated by Teena putting Zouey's hand on his crotch, making it clear that he is not just interested in a conversation and certainly doesn't want to go back to painting.

And Zouey knows that.

In a household like that with Captain and Porsche, it's pretty much impossible to avoid the topic of sex permanently. As an ace, we may not be interested in sex, but especially if you have friends who are very sexually active, you get a lot of information.

And you can't tell me that the baddie bunch hasn't talked about blowjob tactics and the like at least thirty times. Especially because really none of them can shut up and Captain and Porsche are very keen to get Zouey deflowered soon.

So Zouey presumably knows the stories from his friends and knows on a logical level what it means when someone practically hands you their dick on a silver platter. And he has the theoretical knowledge, so why not try it out, especially with an aesthetically pleasing man like Teena, who is a painting come to life for him from an artistic perspective?

What I'm trying to say is that I don't think it was a real sexual attraction at that moment, but rather an action-reaction. Of course, attraction can also play a role, but as I said, it doesn't have to be sexual, it can have an aesthetic origin, especially with Zouey's artistic mind.

Sex-indifferent aces are not repulsed by all sexual acts, so if our partner desires certain types of satisfaction and we feel like doing it, why not?

As the episode progresses, Zouey gives Teena another blowjob, but still dear people, Bj does not equal sex. Zouey still clearly shows his rejection of penetrative sex, or sexual acts that involve him. And that's pretty typical of us aces, or at least the ones I've met on the spectrum so far.

It feels okay to read about or watch sexual acts (mostly for aesthetic reasons rather than masturbation, but I don't want to generalize) because in 3rd perspective you are detached from the action and can look at it objectively.

You're not involved and that's nice.

By satisfying Teena, Zouey can still keep himself uninvolved. A nice term under the Ace umbrella for this is: Placiosexual (meaning a person that is okay and comfortable with performing sexual actions onto others but is uncomfortable having sexual acts performed onto them) This can still have limits and gradations, such as no penetrative sex in general or sexual acts under certain conditions.

As I said, also with the further development in the series and the way he deals with Teena and sexual innuendos, Zouey just feels very ace-coded to me. He moves on the spectrum, again, labels are nothing solid, but the vibes and the whole thing… Yeah, he is a fellow oft he ace for me XD

I wouldn't be surprised if he turns into Demi or Gray-ace, but his general view of sex and the way he's starting to expand his comfort zone bit by bit is very familiar to me from myself and my adventures on the asexual spectrum XD

However you interpret Zouey, for me he's chilling on the ace-spec XD It's my personal interpretation of him and I'll stick with that for now. I don't want to badmouth anyone's idea of Zouey, in the end he's a fictional character that we can interpret differently :)

But it feels very nice to have someone who thinks similarly :D

um, good question. i don't think I've written a true angsty ending. i have several open/ambiguous endings, but the ending for me and the devil (gv, aleksander/alina) is the most ambiguous of the bunch just because it can be interpreted as alina just going stir-crazy from being alone and forgotten for so long and imagining aleksander by her side and staying with her, so it can be angsty if you take it that way.

nope! too small a fandom writer for that and i'm ever thankful for it!

XD just look at the rating for each fic and the associated tags, i guess i do love developping characters through the very intimate act of them falling in bed together. no real kinky sex or anything, but there's often lots of hidden (and not so hidden) feelings behind the act. most smut i've written can be considered rough and/or passionate, since there's a kind of desperation born out of the characters thinking they only have that one single time to be with the other so they're giving their all. i do love exploring the vulnerabilities that come from that for sure!

none, i'm just terribly slow right now. life is throwing a ton of shit at me (dog being very sick, work is horrible, energy at the lowest point), but i keep daydreaming about each fic and slowly coming up with future parts in my head if not on paper.

ah man i don't know, getting into the character's head for which i'm writing the pov from, making their thoughts and feelings just as important as anything going on. i guess because of that i strongly favour inner conflict storylines.

too wordy. also pantsing my way thru a fic instead of really sitting down and coming up with a plan ― we are the wild youth chasing visions of our future really forced me to come up with a strong plan, which i never would have been able to do without @theonewiththeory's immense help, girl i never would have been able to achieve what i did without you!! it is my first fic in english, the first one i wrote as an adult, and it shows, but i'm still proud of it! but i definitively continue to struggle with planning and too often i fall into the bad habit of vibing along with it. also, big external-conflict plotting is a hard thing for me, tho i wish i could become better at it since it's always so fun as a reader and i'm always impressed by writers who pull an intricate plot so flawlessly!

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic?

i'm not a fan of it. so often the other language is plain up butchered, and there are ways to do it without having to juggle the hassle of writing a dialogue in another language and needing to translate it so the reader knows what's going on. but as all things, they are exceptions to the rule and anything can be done well!

19. First fandom you wrote for?

oh man the lord of the rings (with a very mary sue oc even! but i remember having such self-indulging fun with that oc and all the research needed to flesh the story out) and the legend of zelda/ocarina of time (at least i went with link for my mc in this one!)

20. Favourite fic you've ever written?

when i was 12, i started a complete rewrite of ocarina of time which i of course never posted online. it was in french and i was only doing it for fun. but i still have one version of it and oh boy is it cringe-worthy XD big fail, i read that question as the first fic written ― my brain is really elsewhere these days. my fav fic is definitively with the sun against our back (gv, aleksander/nikolai) which became a comfort reread when i need to feel better by reading about familiar and intimate characters. the whole series (of monsters and men) is something i'm really proud of, even with its faults and misgivings, but that third and final part has left me with the biggest impact personally.

Okay SO. You said your ask was always open for fanfic ideas and I. Kinda wanted to ask if you had planned a sequel for Mistletoe on Valentine's Day. And I don't mean a ~spicy~ sequel (although it would be just as welcomed) but a "how do these two interact from now on?".

Are they in a relationship? Do they act all embarrassed with each other the next time they meet? Did they go far enough to skip a few bases the same day of their first kiss? And how are they coping with it? How will their relationship evolve from this?

I can't stop imagining the next prince charming a few books later walking in on his mother/the queen/the evil step-mother making out with the girl of his dreams and THE POSSIBILITIES ARE ENDLESS.

So, yeah. I know you probably have lots of WIPs already, so this is mostly me venting what my brain had thought today 👀

I do want to make a sequel for 'Mistletoe on Valentines day' but there isn't really any planning in this moment for the exact reason you brought up XD I don't know if I want to make it ✨spicy✨ and finally bring the smut tag to this little but awesome fandom or go the 'time skip' route and wrote about these dorks trying to navigate their new...situation. (because it's not really a relationship, not yet <3)

Now onto your questions;

-No, it's not really a relationship yet. I don't think neither Chase nor Buddy has much experience with relationships (In my headcanon; Chase is too obsessed with idols and developed very high standards. Combine it with his mom being sick and he hadn't really dated much. I also headcanon Buddy literally grew up in Ex Libris and I don't think they allow dating, so again, not much experience) I doubt they would want to rush into one. More like pining, awkward flirting, and escapades. They would definitely want to take it to the next level, maybe go on a date but 1-) Buddy still needs to take Chase's key back 2-) They only know each other in books and didn't interact that much outside of their spats 3-) Ex Libris

So, yeah, they have a long way to go XD

-Yes they do act all embarrassed the next time they see each other. There would be lots of blushing, evaiding eyes, and stumbling over words XD They both don't really know how to handle this <3

-They wouldn't go all the way on the first day they kissed, no. But there would be enough action that they would need to clean up after if you catch my drift XD

-I think Buddy would be very deep guilt and shame. Not because of Chase, no, but because he feels like he betrayed Ex-Libris. Fraternized with the enemy. Worse, it wasn't just going with the flow. He specially asked to continue and he couldn't stop thinking about it. All the feelings he repressed about the 'annoying' blondie surfaced at the same time. Also, it's his first kiss. So, yeah, he is overwhelmed lol

And Chase is pretty pumped up he might get a hot goth bf who kinda looks like his body pillow <3 maybe a bit worried because Buddy seems like a very classy guy with high standards and he doesn't want to disappoint him. But overall? Pretty good <3

-Oh it WILL develop into something openly sincere (emphasis on the 'openly' part. They were both kinda into each other but repressed it cuz enemies to lovers <3) they just need a bit of time and effort from both sides.

AND YEP they are NOWHERE near as sneaky as they think they are and have to frequently abandon books because the stepsisters can't be mean to Cinderella since the poor maid got traumatised after walking in on her with stepmother and gossip travels fast XD

What inspired you to do the wonderful nomads story and what helped shaped the setting and ideas around it and the characters?

Oh yeah a NOMADS RELATED QUESTION ! *vibrating* (sorry. I'm sure a lot of you know what it is to talk about personnal projects xD)

I think first I'll never repeat enough that this universe isn't mine but @selkys'. She came up with the post-apo setting and the vast majority of its concepts and characters, I merely poke around it. ...Ok, I do it a LOT. But still.

But the core ideas have been around for way longer than my involvement in it ! Long story short, I started when Selkys invited some of her friends (same french team who was very into swtor ocs a few years ago, I'm sure most of you are here from this time period !) to roleplay in this universe, where she had previously done tabletop and written rp, as well as planned a novel in it. That is how I created Siv.

(For fun : here's an art comparison I made on patreon a while back !)

Several campaigns with several players started and eventually died out - life reasons, mainly... But around the time of the second french lockdown (I think ?) Selkys proposed me to pick up our story again, and both of us got reaaaally involved and naturally started to expand with more characters, more plots, more concepts ! It became less of a rp with a game master and a player, but more of a big ass four hands novel and worldbuilding... if that makes sense ?

It's been our main creative sandbox for a while now, where we just throw whatever we feel like, and I know we're both so happy with being able to have this collab going on♥ I doubt Selkys will read that because she's no longer on tumblr but I'm so so lucky and grateful for it 🥺

...And now I realize this wasn't exactly the question xD What shapes the setting or characters these days is generally just our fancy and what fits right in the story, I couldn't be more specific unless given a specific character or element to talk about !

But for a few examples for fun ?

- moving the action to a desert region was definitely influenced by Dune. We did wanted to go there because it was already in the worldbuilding and we had plot ideas for it, but seeing the recent film (the first one) was definitely a "hell yeah lets do desert survival !" moment xD

(we're not subtle about it, or anything, because we just do that for fun) - Jasper exists because one day I showed and old art from my skyrim dragonborn to Selkys and she found him pretty so we transposed him in Nomades (yep. Jasper was my Skyrim dovahkin xD even tho he had another name/not quite the same look ofcouse.) He's a mix of a nordic, HZD Aloy, Prince of Persia and a shit ton of other things...

(this is his design sheet ! The black makeup is totally stolen from Skyrim - and classic viking representation of course. The bow is Aloy's. His core story "banned for exploring secrets of the past" is too !) - Siv was inspired by ...nothing in particular, I just wanted a character that "didn't fit" in her hometown so that she could leave it. - Archibald gained the longest legs in the world, his flirty side and much of his looks when Selkys got into Lupin the Third.

BLEACH: The Thousand Year Blood War Ep 14 Reactions and Thoughts

Overall reaction:

We're back (again) and we're better than ever!

Highlights:

The start: that was creepy! I loved the visuals throughout this sequence, from the weird conception bit all the way up to Yhwach maturing into a child. It's interesting they didn't go from the manga approach in explaining how Yhwach came to be (perhaps it'll come later), but this was a solid opening showing the menace Yhwach is. Chad and Orihime's scenes: these were nice quiet moments of contemplation, and it's just good to see these two interact. They're two of the very few characters who are involved in this war that aren't Shinigami, Quincy, Arrancar, or without powers. They give a unique perspective comapred to the other sides in this battle, and it's nice to see it shown here before everything goes to heck. That Renruki scene: yep, just as I was hoping it'd be adapted. And then getting glimpses of Byakuya afterwards, the Byakuya fandom got fed today! Bazz B and Jugram: I'm a sucker for this friendship-to-rivalry dynamic, and I loved seeing the beginnings of it here. Uryu being sworn in: I didn't expect this affect me as much as it did, but God, I felt it; especially after seeing the moment where Uryu stands amongst the graves, alone. Shinji and Hiyori's exchange: it's just good to see my man back (again)! This scene was as funny as I thought it was going to be. But where was Momo?! She's meant to be in this scene too. The ending: the title drop was predictable but DAMN did it make an impact. It all just came together to leave feeling hyped for what's to come next. The new opening: what isn't there to love about this new opening?! The song is absolutely killer (I'm listening to it as we speak) the animation is stellar, and everyone looks great in it! What kills me is the scenarios being shown here! It's like the team went online, saw what the popular AUs were in the fandom, and just put them into the opening (…well that and they wanted to incorporate Kubo's Klub Outside drawings into an opening I guess...yeah, that definitely wasn't the main reason at all :P). I'm not a fan of AUs but even I got hyped when I thought of this. Here we have:

Cafe AU (it took me way too long to realise that Byakuya, I honestly thought the first time I saw this they were talking to Aizen and was wondering why they're so happy to be there with him XD):

Record store AU (okay but seriously, where was Shinji in this one?! This scenario is practically built for him)

My only nit picks with it are 1) where was Momo?, and 2) was I the only one who laughed with Rukia using a fire extinguisher to 'defeat' As Nodt. Don't get me wrong, the metaphor/analogy isn't lost on me, but I just couldn't help but laugh when I saw it. Maybe we're supposed to laugh, but she looks badass afterwards, soooo?

Once again, another fantastic season opening episode. Not too much happened in the way of action, but it was a great episode to start setting things up for the halfway point of this arc. My only complaint was...WHERE WAS MY GIRL?! Momo, where is she?! She wasn't in the opening, and she wasn't in the scene with Shinji talking with Hiyori (like she was in the manga) where is she?!

So on the fact that Krogan is part lycanwing (they are real, just quite rare. The dragon eye speaks of them, but for the most part, even to the Grimborn brothers they are a bit of an enigma. They are also incapable of shifting into full dragons. They are more or less half-dragons, half man half beast, and typically attribute to a certain species.) Krogan is roughly 75% blood content. He cannot shift, but he has extremely heightened senses, light sensitive eyes that allow him to see for miles on even a new moon (as if it is a full moon). He also is 8’2”, mostly to make up for the fact that he cannot shift. The added height and obvious weight is great for added protection against most would-be predators. His draconic instincts also cause him to have more primal behavior, and he is somewhat capable of understanding dragons.

To him, their tongue is quite garbled and oftentimes can be indecernible, oftentimes just being a discernible notice of just being able to understand bits and peices- the basics like food, hungry, water, thirsty, I Need, along with a few other things surrounding basic human needs and wants like “cold” and “too hot,” among other things. Though with a lot of practice he would definitely be able to slowly learn how to speak their language completely.

He has… different vocal chords. He can completly speak and mimic pretty much any noise or voice he puts his mind to (very well mind you. Voices and dragon chatter are his specialty.) His vocal mimicry… at least when it comes to people… it is perfect. But a bit too perfect. To the point where it sounds wrong. At least to others, if they pay close attention to the voice they realize it is in fact… not right. Maybe a tone is wrong in there.

He uses it as a luring strategy while hunting and working. Most don’t think anything of it because it’s something kept on the down-low.

Kroganis just. Weird and kinda fits that uncanny-valley to a lot of people because from first glance people think “oh yep definitely a person!” But if they look closer… his teeth are too sharp… his eyes are too catlike. His eyes glow in the dark, the pupils gleam like a cat or a dragon’s in dim light, and he has a third clear eyelid to protect his eyes while swimming or during flight. He’s Not Right if you look a bit too closely.

He can also be affected by Grimora venom and bewilderbeast mind control. The bewilderbeast mind control is not as successful as it is with a full lycanwing or dragon and the entire time anything the dragon tries forcing him to do is quite painful.

He also eats people on occasion (only when starving though.) Lycanwings are kind of natural predators of Humans so it is kinda why some people are unnerved by Krogan’s mere presence around them because they can instinctively feel that he is practically a wolf in sheep’s clothing. Upside is that he can and will eat most meat raw and has a higher immunity to foodborn illnesses like salmonella and parasites. (For the most part his extremely strong stomach acid practically cooks parasites.)

He’s also naturally kind of long limbed and gangly so he’s extremely good at climbing.

For the most part Krogan does just want to be left alone. His instincts and a lot of his ptsd related trauma causes him to be quite snappy and fussy as an excuse to get people away from him. His ideal day is spent alone, painting, swimming or sleeping.

HGCZ live reaction part 4

Synergy through Deer Hunting Season

First story for this part is a fic, which is going to be harder for me to go back and forth between Nook and here, I think. Easier to lose my place on the page if I do that, if that makes sense? So my live reaction may not be as live as the rest. This goes for other fics in the zine as well.

Synergy:

Doc being a recurring villain works really well. It kinda makes me wonder if there'd be a rogues gallery of villains eventually, like Batman has, but yeah. Doc definitely works well in the villain roll, and them using the M for Monster was pretty clever for making a villain name. (I know this isn't just synergy but the words are making me think more so there ya go)

I think this is the first point where we hear about HotGuy's leg bracers. I'd kind of assumed his mobility wasn't as big a thing in this AU, but I'm not upset to see it pop up as a factor. It does make me wonder if he uses them as Scar, too, or is it like DDVAU where they're a HotGuy only thing?

Prickly Cute Guy is best Cute Guy. No I don't like tsunderes --- okay I can't even lie about that jokingly, tsunderes are my jam and Cute Guy makes a very very good tsundere. XD

They have a base! Awesome sauce. I think I've gotten too used to superhero stories/AUs where the heroes don't have a base? Like, it's been awhile since I've read "proper" superhero stuff like Batman, so lately it's been, like ... Miraculous, UnOrdinary, and MCYT AUs. None of those really do the secret hideout, though UnOrdinary has started to hint at/dance around one. But yeah, with HotGuy and Cute Guy being adults who don't know each other's identities, it makes sense they'd get a base they would rent so they'd have a place to store, like. First aid and spare weapons and stuff, as well as meetup. Kinda makes me wonder how they're paying for it, or if it's semi-abandoned or something, though? Probably will find out later, or else my eyes skipped over the explanation. aaaand yep, abandoned. :thumbsup:

One of the interesting things about how people portray Cute Guy is that Cute Guy doesn't really have a canonical weapon the way HotGuy does (partially because in canon, Cute Guy isn't nearly as developed as HotGuy, admittedly.) So it's interesting to see what weapon/fighting style people give Cute Guy. DDVAU gave Cute Guy a gun, but HGCZ is giving him knives, and I kind of like how that works in a team dynamic better? Like, in video game terms, both guns and bows are long-distance weapons, but this way you have one of them as a close-range fighter and one as a long-range fighter. It's neat.

It's also good they're helping each other learn each others' skills, because that will definitely make them less vulnerable in a fight. Less weaknesses to exploit and all that.

and of course Cute Guy has explosives lining his pockets. Why wouldn't he have explosives lining his pockets.

Pretty sure the first F-Bomb, if not the first swear in the zine, goes to Doc. And omg I can hear him say it. XD

Hum, tough one. I guess being struck by lighting is pretty cool, not that I get to see it that often. Also being hit by a satellite, but I’ve literally never seen it happen in my game unless I cheat.

Alpha, obviously. Although I prefer to call my style ‘semi-realistic’.
