What about reader walking in on little fucker and her gf making out😭
PLEASEadosfjaw;leij
(this is little fucker's future wife btw, this isn't the gf who broke her heart earlier in high school... fuck that bitch...)
men and minors dni
you wouldn't say you're certain, but you've got a feeling that little fucker's current girlfriend will someday be your daughter in law.
the girls are like two peas in a pod. where your daughter is energetic and expressive, her girlfriend is grounded and a great listener. her girlfriend's humble but smart-- captain of the chess club at school-- and little fucker is always swooning and squealing about how intelligent her love is, making her girlfriend blush with pride embarrassment.
it's adorable. they're young and stupid but clearly in love, always making googly eyes at one another, giggling nervously whenever they're withing touching distance of one another.
even sevika admits they're cute. after little fucker came home from prom safe and sound, grinning and chattering endlessly about how fun her night was-- sevika's guard lowered a bit, and she's started growing a soft spot for the (you're pretty sure) soon to be new member of your family.
but-- that doesn't mean you're both on the same page when it comes to navigating your first child's first relationship.
you walk in on the girls making out in little fucker's room one night, a basket of your daughter's folded laundry on your hip, clueless as to what the girls could possibly be getting up to in a closed room with music blaring.
all three of you are equally shocked when you step into the room.
"oh!" you squeak a bit, dropping the basket of laundry, and you quickly reach up to smack a hand over your eyes. the girls are shirtless and blushing, both scrambling to pull the blankets up over their bodies. "s-sorry girls!" you say.
"oh my god, get out!" your daughter whines.
"yep-- i'll just--" you bump into a dresser and curse, then pull your hand away from your eyes to navigate better. "uh-- there's protection and lube in me and your mom's bathroom if you n--"
"ma! get the hell out!" little fucker sounds mortified.
you manage to slam the door behind you, before sighing and shaking your head.
behind the door, you can hear the pair burst into nervous laughter together, and the sound makes you smile. you grab one of the twin's socks from their laundry basket, and hang it on the knob, chuckling to yourself before you continue on to deliver more clothes.
as mortified as your daughter might be from your brief interruption, it's nothing compared to when sevika walks in on them.
it's three full years later, the girls are back from college for the holidays, they've been dorming together for two years at this point, but that doesn't stop sevika.
you think there's been a fucking murder with the way your wife screams when she walks into your daughter's bedroom one winter evening. "what in the everloving fuck is this!?" sevika's voice echoes down the hall.
you come sprinting in behind her, already pulling your phone out to call for an ambulance, only to get an eyefull of your soon to be daughter-in-law's bare ass. you cringe and smack your hand over your eyes again, then reach out and flail your hand around until you can grab your wife's shoulder. "sevika, for fuck's sake i thought someone was dying." you huff.
"somebody is dying-- it's me!" sevika groans. you chuckle a bit, and peek from behind your hands "you-- you're a fucking child!"
"ma, we're twenty--"
"babe, they've been together nearly five years." you add on.
"i'm dressed now." your daughter's poor girlfriend mumbles a bit.
you and sevika pull your hands away from your eyes, both of the girls are sitting on opposite ends of the bed, guiltily avoiding your eyes. you snort.
"i need a fucking drink." sevika mutters, huffing and turning to walk out of the room.
on the edge of little fucker's bed, her girlfriend sighs. "me too."
you wink at the girl, then trail after your wife, closing your daughter's door behind you as you go.

thinking about "the distraught father adopting an orphan daughter" trope but with price and ghost :( like imagine, the reader is a younger girl in the task force, and she has kind of become like a daughter to them but they've never really disclosed it, and one day she just mutters "i love you, dad" to them (individually) :(( how do you think they'd react?
"i love you, dad." - simon "ghost" riley x reader
overview: calling simon "ghost" riley dad for the first time
pairing: simon "ghost" riley x gender neutral reader, platonic
genre: fluff, angst
a/n: hi anon! i looooove this request :( i've actually been thinking of this exact scenario for sooo long! however, i couldn't really think of anything for price. so if someone can help me out by sending some ideas & headcanons to me privately, i will make a price version asap! and, as much as i love the father-daughter trope, i decided to keep this gender neutral, so everyone can feel included. i hope you love it.
TW! mentions of abuse and torture. proceed with caution.
Simon’s father was the devil personified. His dad is the epitome of evil to him, even more so than his captor, Roba. He cringes when he sees a dad and son being affectionate with each other in public - it pains him to think about what could’ve been, how he could’ve turned out. He knows most of his trauma stems from the abuse his father put him through, which has forever shattered the image of fatherhood in his mind.
That is until you came along.
Simon immediately felt drawn to you when you joined the Task Force. Being the youngest member had difficulties, yet you took it like a champ and kept toiling while still being so bright, colorful, and full of life. He admired that about you.
He found himself worrying for you more than he liked. If you were reckless on a mission, he’d pull you aside and yell at you, scolding you for pulling such stupid stunts at the risk of your being. But after every talking-to, he’d give you a gentle pat on the head with shaky hands. “You need to be more careful, mate.” He’d mutter, feeling a pit in his stomach. Why does he care so much? And why does he feel the need to protect you?
He would keep an eye on you at all times. He’d ensure nobody got too touchy with you and that everybody on base treats you with the respect you deserve. If he saw you getting mistreated, he would use his authority to punish the person hurting you. He would then turn to you, his eyes softening as he stares at you through his balaclava. “You tell me if anyone’s hurting you, alright?”
The day Simon realizes he loves you like his own child is the day you open up about your past to him. At this point, you’ve known each other for a few years.
He has always known that he has a special love for you, but he never came to terms with it until this day.
When you tell him about all your painful experiences in life, he can feel his heart tear open and get shredded into millions of pieces. Regardless of what you’ve been through, his soul aches for you. That day was the first time Simon ever hugged you, and he vouched to care and be there for you as long as he was breathing.
Today, you’ve had a difficult time falling asleep. Tossing and turning in bed can only get you so far, and the thought of drinking warm milk at this time makes you physically ill. You’re in the comfort of your room, but you don’t feel the amenity. You need someone to talk to.
You know that Simon is usually up during this time - he who deserves sleep the most gets it the least. Insomnia’s a bitch.
You decide to send him a text.
You: “You up?” Read, 3:38 AM. Simon: “Yeah. Why are you awake?” Read, 3:38 AM. You: “Can’t sleep. Your sleeping habits have rubbed off on me.” Read, 3:39 AM. Simon: “Welcome to my world.” Read, 3:39 AM. Simon: “Is everything okay, though?” Read, 3:39 AM. You: “Yep. Just need someone to talk to, that’s all.” Read, 3:39 AM. Simon: “So you decide to text me?” Read, 3:40 AM. You: “I would’ve texted Johnny, but he fell asleep at midnight.” Read, 3:40 AM. Simon: “What’s so wrong with me?” Read, 3:40 AM. You: “You’re a grumpy, old man.” Read, 3:41 AM. Simon: “Thanks, mate. 🐶” Read, 3:41 AM. You: “You’re welcome.” Read, 3:41 AM. You: “Don’t worry, though. I like that about you.” Read, 3:42 AM. Simon: “Not enough to be your first texting option.” Read, 3:42 AM. You: “Don’t hyper-fixate on that, I’m begging.” Read, 3:42 AM. Simon: “It’s funny.” Read, 3:42 AM. You: “It’s not. 🙄 It’s so boring I’m starting to feel sleepy, actually.” Read, 3:43 AM. Simon: “That’s good. Go to sleep, mate.” Read, 3:43 AM. You: “Yeah, might as well. You should sleep, too.” Read, 3:43 AM. Simon: “I’ll try.” Read, 3:43 AM. Simon: “Goodnight.” Read, 3:44 AM. You: “Night. I love you, Dad. ❤️” Read, 3:44 AM. You: “Hold on, before you go! I have a question.” Read, 3:44 AM. You: “Hello?” Delivered, 3:50 AM. You: “Simon?” Delivered, 3:55 AM. You: “Did you fall asleep?” Delivered, 4:01 AM.
You sit in your bed anxiously, not knowing whether you fucked up. You know Simon had a rough past with this father, but you didn’t even think about that when you sent that text. You feel an instant regret wash over you, rereading your messages hundreds of times, hoping Simon will open them.
Your spiral of uneasiness is interrupted by a hurried knock on the door of your room. You can hear breathing, almost panting, through the door - you immediately know it’s Simon.
You walk to the door, hesitantly opening it, only to be met by Simon’s bare, tear-stained face, and the whites of his eyes have turned a bright red. You stare at him in shock, only stepping aside to let him in your room.
You close the door behind you after he enters your accommodation, and you turn to look at him right away. Your eyes meet instantly, and you feel a cloud of shame pour down on you, coating you in an aura of grief. “I’m sorry.” You instantly whisper, and your own eyes sting. “I shouldn’t have… said that.”
He doesn’t respond, only looking at you as if you’re the only matter in the universe. Everything else has become nonexistent - a vacuum.
“No.” He sniffles, stepping closer toward you. He had a panic attack right after you called him dad - and you know it. “No.” He repeats, his tears spilling out of his eyes. “Don’t be sorry.” He whispers. He reaches out to you hesitantly, his trembling hands gently gripping your shoulders. He holds them there for a few seconds, getting used to the feeling.
Before you know it, he pulls you into him, burying his face in the crook of your neck and weeping quietly into you. It’s the first time you’ve seen him cry. Ever.
He’s stiff as he embraces you, his shaking body telling you everything you need to know. Your heart breaks for him, resulting in you biting back your tears - you’ve got to be strong for him. But you can’t.
You let your sobs fill the air, your arms wrapping around him to hold him close to you.
You stay in each other’s embrace, pouring out your emotions for one another. You don’t even dare to speak until Simon has calmed down slightly, his breathing getting slower and softer.
“I love you, Dad.”
“I love you, too, kid. More than you know.”

I remember when the scripts for deleted scenes were being posted and Team Black was praising Daemon as father of the year for awkwardly saying “Let’s have you with us for now” to his daughter he had not seen in years even though he lived like a 1/2 hr - 1 hr fly away.
They are now pissed that this season will explore Baela’s feeling distant toward Daemon and Rhaena feeling resentment that Baela got to live with their Grandmother while she was left alone on Dragonstone with the “Braedy” Bunch. TB built a fantasy in their heads of “Girl Dad” Daemon and of Rhaena being Rhaenyra’s “favorite child” because she gives her handmaid Rhaena hand me down dresses and jewelry.
We’ve seen no evidence of Daemon being a good father or a good stepfather. We have seen Rhaena’s distressed being ignored by him because he can’t be a grown man about her not having a dragon. We have seen him hang back in the shadows and not show any concern towards his daughters who were just in a fight that ended in another child losing an eye. We saw him only step forward to (according to the script) to try and Attack Alicent from behind and to see about Rhaenyra’s wound.
We’ve seen this blood purist hate his nephews and niece who are all dragon riders that look like the picture of Old Valyria because they have a Hightower mom. Yet people believe he actually cares for Rhaenyra’s Strong sons who are more Andal than Valyrian?
While we DO see Aegon’s pride in his children. His subtle acknowledgement of his daughter who he knows enough about that he knows she has an aversion to touch like her Mother. We see him show his son more attention than both his father and his uncle have ever shown their children. We see Daemon help Rhaenyra steal his daughter’s birthright, while he see Aegon show enthusiasm in training his son to be King.
We saw Daemon not come to Rhaenyra’s aid when she was calling for him while painfully delivering a malformed stillborn baby. We never see Daemon grieve this baby, we do however see his fans say that he’s grieving the loss of the baby to excuse him abusing his wife, being a dick to his stepson and plotting the murder of a toddler.
We will however be seeing Aegon’s anguish, grief and pure unrestrained rage over the murder of his son.
yep. that's the thing that gets on my nerves anon
they've just decided that daemon is a good father despite one of his children literally saying "father ignores me", despite him not even bothering to check on his daughters after they were in a fight, despite him making rhaena feel useless because she has no dragon. we see him looking at her in silent judgment and her looking hurt. at least aemond had alicent for support when he didn't have a dragon... poor rhaena.
we never see rhaenyra interact with her stepdaughter, she invites them to join the family at the table in ep 10 - wow! congrats on not excluding your stepdaughters !!!! best mom evehhh!!! we do know, however, that she planned their marriages with rhaenys behind their back, not even bothering to ask for their consent. you'd expect rhaenyra "i do not wish to get married" Targaryen to at least let her stepdaughters know before she marry them off. we have 0 evidence of rhaenyra being a good stepmom.
and yeah, daemon is obsessed with valyrian blood and bloodlines. this man cannot even be bothered with his own children and i'm expected to believe that he gives a fuck about the strongs? he was literally angry at rhaenyra for "neglecting her roles as queen" AKA looking for her son's body.
and as for daemon as a husband... i don't think anyone's claiming he was a good husband to rhae and laena but he's horrible to rhaenyra as well. he ignored her when she was screaming in pain for him, he physically assaulted her !!
so we have daemon who ignores his children when they're bleeding, openly prefers one twin over the other, assaults his wife, ignores her when she's in pain and i'm supposed to think that he's a family man?
BUT when aegon takes his son to the council meeting, gets angry at one of his most powerful allies for snapping at his son (not really i love tyland and that scene was adorable), looks at his son lovingly and proudly, knows his son's fav games, gently taps his daughter's shoulder (idk if she doesn't like touch like hel, she just looked happy minding her own business), immediately can tell his identical twins apart WE'RE wrong for calling him a good dad? as far as westerosi standards go , yeah, i'd say he's a pretty decent dad.
and then they really try to bring up half a sentence from a TGC interview conveniently leaving out the parts where he says that aegon wasn't an absent father & he loves his kids very much lmao

I bet that idea about Wukong being aggressive and was crumbled to pieces by the time the Stalwarts were done with them! Don't get them wrong, Wukong is dangerous, but he's rarely aggressive to the point of attacking us provoked. In fact, in every instance of battle he had seen, he had either been provoked somehow or had atta ked in defense of another!
prev.
Yep. Up until a certain point, Tripitaka was under the assumption that Wukong was a heartless monster.
Then you toss him onto the island where Wukong considers the inhabitants close to family, and he's forced to reconsider his bias.
One really cute thought I had is one of the Stalwarts comforting Wukong, and mentioning something important that happened to them;
Ba, as if she'd forgotten something: "Oh! You haven't properly met little Xia yet!" Wukong, lifts head off of pillow: "Huh? Who?" Ba: "My daughter! She was born three summers ago. Chunhua, (yes brother we finally married like you predicted), has her right now. Poor thing was exhausted after we got her back from those hunters. Would you like to meet her?" Wukong: "YES."
Cue the Monkey King healing emotionally by hugging baby monkeys. After all the destruction he's seen around his kingdom, it's nice to know that life continues on. Especially when said life is round baby monkeys who've never met their dear Uncle Wukong before.
The other Pilgrims expect to see the Monkey King decked out in full demonic regalia, only to see him in the monkey-equivalent of pyjamas in a cuddle pile of the cutest baby demons they'd ever seen.
Wukong, most casual tone possible: "'Sup?" Baby Monkeys: *chirp!* The Pilgrims:
The Stalwarts explain to the Pilgrims that they nearly lost some of their young to poachers, but thankfully Old Sun was there to help get them back. His own firstborn niece, little Xia among them.
Tripitaka, Sha Wujing, and Bajie suddenly realise that the "monster" that they had been travelling with is merely... a person. A person and a King that worries and cries for his fellow monkeys.
A person that they've hurt terribly - not just through the Circlet, but by not trusting his judgement.
Wukong growls when Tripitaka steps closer. The monk does flinch, but he quickly shakes it off. He now has to learn that this is how Brother Monkey responds to threats. Like how he now sees Tripitaka as being. The Tang Monk does not feel very Great knowing that his actions have led him to be feared.
Even after things are patched up between them, Tripitaka is given a grave warning from the Stalwarts;
Ma: "Harm our brother with that vile sutra ever again, and I'll rip your tongue from your head as if it were roots from the earth." Liu: "We do not fear Avīci. We have already lived it." Tripitaka: "eep."

Just in connection to my reply to one of your posts with little baby Moe (Okay she wasn't a baby but you get it.)
I really, really need some scenes with the girls (all of them or one by one) where they tell Steve (and Eddie too) how amazing he is as a dad. Not as teeny tiny children but rather as teenagers or even as young adults. Just genuine love between them, no ulterior motives.
Because I feel like Steve NEEDS that too. Every now and then. I know parents always have moments where they feel like they've fucked up or that their children don't really like them. And I feel like Steve could spiral about these things on a bad day. Eddie telling him that the girls love him to pieces doesn't help a lot on these days, I believe (You can correct me since it's definitely your universe and your Steve and Eddie).
So I'm just asking, very VERY politely :))), what you think those moments could look like and what the girls would say or why Steve even feels like he failed them. (Okay that's a LOT I'm asking of you, I'm sorry.) Just see where the flow takes you, if it does.
Thank you thank you thank you 🥰🥰🥰🥰
HAZEL
Steve was home alone with the kids because Eddie was away for a few days of work meetings in New York. The second day of Eddie’s absence, Steve was hit with a killer migraine – his first really bad one in a while – so he set the girls up with a movie (a long one) to give himself a couple hours to try sleeping it off.
A while later, he woke up to an alarm blaring – weird, he’d thought in the moment because he probably wouldn’t have set a loud alarm for a migraine nap (seems a little counter-intuitive), but everything about his brain was foggy so who's to say.
Then, outside the door, he heard this exchange between his two oldest daughters.
Moe: Papa can turn it off.
Robbie: But we’ll get in trouble.
Robbie: It’s on fire.
Half-convinced he was dreaming, he got up and followed the girls into the kitchen where, yep, the microwave was on fire. All Steve really remembers is unplugging it and leaving it to the elements outside.
Turns out Moe had wanted to make mac and cheese (which she knew how to do – they’d actually been about to graduate her to toaster privileges until this incident) and it had been a fluke timer-based accident.
Eddie had thought coming home to a melted microwave in their driveway was hilarious, but Steve was seriously rattled about it because it was the first time he'd felt like something had happened because of a failing on his part. He shouldn't have let himself succumb to the migraine, he should have pushed through it to be there for the girls, but he’d let himself slip and then they set the goddamn microwave on fire.
The same day he got back from his trip, Eddie went out and bought a new microwave (even though it’s one of those purchases Steve would normally handle because he doesn’t trust Eddie for a second to not buy the dumbest appliances he can find), and he took all three girls with him so Steve could have a bit of time alone. When they all returned an hour or two later, the sheer volume and amount of excitement they brought with them pretty much confirmed for Steve that whatever microwave Eddie bought had way more bells and whistles than any person on Earth could possibly need.
Steve didn’t go downstairs to greet them and not too long later, the door to his and Eddie’s room opened, and then three-year-old Hazel was climbing into bed and snuggling up close to him.
“There’s a new microwave,” she told him in her matter-of-fact way she reported on everything that happened in her world.
“I know,” he replied, running a hand through her tangled blonde curls (unlike Robbie, Hazel’s tolerance for “hair time”, as they call it, is pretty much rock-bottom – her hair is more frizz than curls these days and Steve is figuring out how to cope).
“Daddy wants to turn the old one into a diagram,” she continued.
Steve furrowed his eyebrows.
“A diagram?” he repeated.
“He wants to put all the melted spoons in and make them look cool and put it on a shelf.”
Oh – also, no fucking chance. Not in Steve’s kitchen.
“I think he said diorama, Haze.”
Hazel nodded.
Then she said, “You were like a firefighter.”
Steve refrains from pointing out that he shouldn’t have needed to be like a firefighter in the first place (because that would be putting his own issues onto his children and he doesn’t want to do that), even though he knows it’s true. He should have been there.
“You’re the best dad ever,” Hazel continued.
“Yeah?”
“Uh-huh,” she nods, and she’s just as matter-of-fact now as she was before, and she’s sitting on his chest in a way that has her little knees digging into his ribs, which should hurt but instead feels like a tether to the real world he can grasp onto and pull himself out of his head.
“You think we should go check out this microwave?” he asks, starting to sit up.
Hazel nods.
“Alright, let’s go.”
MOE
When Moe was 21 – a junior in college in New York City – she and her best friend since kindergarten, Gray, started dating (finally, in Steve’s opinion, because he’d seen that coming for ages).
Steve and Eddie have known Gray for as long as Moe has, and they’ve watched Gray grow up nearly as much as their three daughters – as a kindergartener with freckles and dark brown pigtails, as a middle-schooler tearfully coming out as non-binary knowing they’d have to hide it from their family, as a high school senior, still with all those freckles, eager for the fresh start that college would bring.
It was nice to be for Gray (and for a handful of their daughters’ other friends over the years) something that Eddie and Steve had needed when they were their age – a place where they could be themselves without any consequences, a place where they didn’t have to hide, because sometimes, as was the case for Gray for many years, you have to hide. It’s nice to have a safe haven where you don’t.
During Moe and Gray’s senior year of college, the pair made plans to come home for their final spring break. When that first week of March finally rolled around, Moe called from the train to tell them that Gray was finally pulling the trigger – finally coming out to their parents, finally telling them about their relationship with Moe.
“Are they sure,” Steve had asked – not because he doubted Gray but because he hadn’t been too much older when he’d taken that leap for himself and he’d felt the subsequent loss of his parents like mourning a death.
“Positive,” he’d heard Gray reply.
Three hours after their train dropped Moe and Gray off at the Wellesley Farms station, Steve and Eddie heard the back door open. A moment later, Moe trailed in with something heavy in her eyes.
“How’d it…” Eddie started to ask from where he and Steve sat on the couch, but he stopped when Moe shook her head.
“Not over yet,” she told them, “Gray made me leave. It’s a fucking trainwreck.”
And even though he knew that was always going to be the outcome, Steve’s heart still sank.
“Damn,” Eddie commented while Steve shook his head, “They’ll always have a home with us, but…”
“Yeah,” Moe nodded, “Still sucks.”
Steve recognizes something of his own experience in that – he feels so damn grateful that Jim and Joyce had slid into that parent role for him, especially after he’d become estranged from his actual parents in his mid-twenties. Still, they weren’t his parents, and Steve would’ve never not wanted his parents to pull through like they should have.
Moe sat down on the couch between her dads.
“Why did Gray make you leave?” Steve asked (even though he had a sneaking suspicion why).
“Uh…” Moe paused, pushing her blonde bangs back, “Well, I wouldn’t say I was yelling, exactly, but…I dunno. If you ask Gray they might tell you I was yelling.”
Yep, that seems about right.
“I just,” Moe continued, “I know Gray was prepared for this – for their parents, like, rejecting all of this – and I know they’ve always totally sucked so this was obviously how this was gonna go, but I think I had a hard time seeing it because I’d never really had to consider what it would be like for that to happen.”
Moe shook her head, her bangs falling right back into her eyes, and Steve had to resist the urge to ask if she wanted his help trimming them like he’d done when she was little.
“I just mean – it never made a difference to you who me and Haze and Robbie were or what we did. You just, like, love us regardless…and always, y’know? I never had to imagine anything happening to make that stop, and I never had to consider that it might not be like that for everyone.”
She paused again, this time for a while, her eyes trained on the carpet as she fiddled with cuffs on her jeans.
And then Moe looked Steve dead in the eye.
“You’re the best dads,” she said, “and I’m really, really lucky.”
ROBBIE
There were eight hours between Steve and Eddie finding out their fifteen-year-old daughter had been in a car crash during a school trip to Disney World and when they finally made it down to the hospital in Orlando she’d been taken to. There were another agonizing two before Robbie woke up.
When she did, her eyes groggily blinked open, and she looked blankly around the hospital room for a moment, and then she saw them.
Then her pale face crumples and suddenly she’s crying.
And that had Steve’s heart plummeting even faster than the phone call from hell he’d gotten eight hours earlier, because Robbie doesn’t cry.
He can’t remember the last time he’d seen her cry – not since she was a baby, anyway. She’d cried constantly as a baby, but the second she had a firm enough grasp on the English language it had ceased entirely, replaced by an endless stream of words – demands and trains of thought and exclamations and everything in between.
Eddie had joked that she’d only ever been crying out of frustration over not being able to tell them what she needed, and as soon as she could tell them, she had no use for it anymore, so seeing Robbie sobbing – the kind of crying where no sound could come out, where she was barely breathing, where her tears were soaking her cheeks and staining the collar of the hospital gown someone had changed her into – it practically had Steve crying himself.
After a few minutes of we’re here and you’re okay and what do you need, Robbie had tearfully admitted, “I need a hug,” and then she’d broken down again.
She wasn’t exactly in any position to get up, obviously, so Steve had taken off his shoes (because even through tears she’d still side-eyed his sneakers) and slid onto the hospital bed so he could pull Robbie into his arms just like he used to do when bad dreams woke her up in the middle of the night.
Later, when Eddie was just outside the hospital room talking to the nurse and the chaperone for the trip about the accident and how the school was planning on moving forward in the aftermath, Robbie finally spoke.
“Papa,” she said, her face pressed into his shoulder.
“Mm-hmm.”
“I’m sorry.”
Steve looked down at his daughter.
“Robbie, you don’t need to–”
“Not for this. For…just, like, in general. You–”
She paused, and Steve let her.
“I just mean…” she continued, “I haven’t been, like, good lately, and I’m sorry.”
Steve didn’t know what to say.
She’s not exactly wrong – it’s true that Robbie had been a total piece of work lately, especially since she started high school, especially since she got bumped up to the senior-level band class because she’s that good at the violin (which he and Eddie had been thrilled about initially until they realized it meant she was making friends with high school seniors) – but Steve didn’t exactly know how best to explain to her that up until this, up until she’d nearly died because of it and no matter how much Steve didn’t like it, it was normal.
It was normal for teenagers to do dumb shit, to hurt themselves, to hurt others, to drive their parents goddamn insane with worry. It wasn’t normal for them to nearly end up dead because of it, and this time it wasn’t really even her fault.
It sort of reminded him of Nancy in a way, of how Nancy had never been the same again after what happened to Barb, how Nancy had never let herself be a dumb teenager, never let herself relax, even though picking a boy over a friend was normal. Sneaking out and drinking during a badly-supervised school trip was normal. Sure, there were supposed to be consequences but there shouldn’t be a goddamn death toll.
“I know, Bean,” he finally said, something about the situation pulling out a nickname for her that he hadn’t used in a long time (because when she was born, Moe had turned Robin into Robbean and the rest was history).
“You’re really good to me,” Robbie whispered, “You and dad are so good to me, and I’m not always good back, and I’m sorry.”
“I don’t need you to be sorry,” Steve told her because, for right now at least, it was true, “Just…just stick around long enough to work with us, okay?”
Robbie nodded.
“Okay.”

I really want to help
synopsis: coming to your place after one of his missions, Sampo doesn't expect to see that your daughter got sick... And despite you suggesting him to leave, he really wants to stay.
pairing: Sampo x fem!reader
tw: implied slowburn, kind of mutual pining, fluff
word count: 2.4k+ words
a/n: related to Sampo's part in my In father's embrace fic. I tagged at the end a couple of people, whom I saw in the tags, and who seemed interested in seeing more
"Hey, gorgeous~ Guess, who came to visit~"
Sampo sing-songs in his best female voice and when you emerge into the corridor, you are not even surprised to see him in one of his disguises. Long wig of his rich dark hair color, a portion spilling over his boa-covered shoulder and the rest streaming down his back, perfectly picked makeup, accentuating his gleaming green eyes and pretty lips, a black choker hugging his neck snuggly with an emerald trinket, and a long black dress with a slit from the mid thigh and down, open back and sleeveless. It seems like he's already abandoned his coat and heels while you were walking his way.
"Up to your business again, I see," your words lack any bite, they've been for a while, and Sampo charmingly smiles, stepping closer to you, fake manicured nails grazing your upper arm. The other hand cups the side of your face - you stopped rolling your eyes and swatting his hands maybe a couple of months after your acquaintance with him, realizing that without being handsy Sampo Koski wouldn't be Sampo Koski. After all, he is always gentle and respectful and never makes you feel uncomfortable. So you shakily exhale and lean your cheek into his palm, closing your eyes - bloodshed, as the man has noticed.
"Yep, had a thing or two to do in the Overworld. Don't you think I look absolutely divine though? Worth falling for?" You snort at him clearly fishing for compliments. Lifting eyelids just enough to see him, you regard him with an expressionless gaze and close your eyes again.
"Nuh, could've made your chest more alluring."
"Wouldn't want others to have a chance to see more than you do," he gently pinches your cheek, making you huff. "Wanna tell me why you look so tired, pretty mama? I thought the princess left the castle yesterday for the weekends at her school friend's place. Why weren't you resting?"
"Exactly why you'll have to leave now," your tone gets serious and eyes turn solemn. "She got sick on Thursday, so, obviously, no sleepover for her. Your phone was off, I assume, because my messages weren't delivered. I don't want you to fall ill too, so, go while you can. I'll tell her you came to visit."
Right, he switched his phone off not to be distracted or have his cover blown. And he is a bit unsure how he would've acted if he did receive the messages. Listen to you? Or stubbornly show up still?
Can he handle a sick child?
"Do you have the medicine, do you two need anything?"
But he wants to.
"Yeah, I have, and the doctor has seen her, so now it's just helping her get better. Don't worry about us, Sampo."
How can he not? When over this past half a year both of you managed to worm your ways into his heart?
"But what about your work? Don't you have performances almost every single night?"
"Oh, it's fine. I ask a lady from the floor above to sit with her."
"Do you even sleep?" Worry laces his words - an emotion one rarely may hear from the conman. Now both of his hands are cupping your cheeks, eyes closely observing your face, noting every single evidence of tiredness.
"A couple of hours here and there. It's fine," and just as you say that, you yawn. Sampo is not having it.
"That's it. I am going to change and then I am taking over caring for the little princess while you rest."
That's the biggest he's seen your eyes open this afternoon, owlishly blinking, clear shock written all over your face.
"Wait, Sampo, you don't have to-"
"For the girl who calls me 'pa' I want to. For the woman who didn't chase me away I want to as well," he leans down and presses a kiss right under your left eyes, letting his lips linger, enough for feeling your skin heating up. "Let me help you, please. I promise I am not pushing myself to. I genuinely desire so. Don't you believe your man, Sampo Koski?"
When he says 'your man', the heart in your chest flutters and the cheeks turn a bit rosy. Trying to mask that you hang your head low and murmur.
"Not when this man of mine is wearing a wig and a dress."
"Point taken, already on my way!" Lifting your face he smooches under your other eye and quickly leaves to your dressing room - which you've been sharing with him at this point you guess. Inhaling deeply and exhaling as much, you turn to the mirror on the wall, checking on your flustered expression.
Ah, no lipstick marks like last time. What a pity…
The thought makes you blush harder.
Squeezing eyes shut and profusely chastening yourself on the inside you are trying your best to self-compose. Why must this man be so insufferably lovely? With an ability to leave one with a truly indelible impression.
It's so hard to understand Sampo sometimes. And even if you learned quite quickly that not all the things he does hold any proper meaning, it was more and more evident that behind his affections towards you, towards your daughter - it's significant. You've heard rumors, you know what people say about him - a conman, a two-faced liar, a scammer, a swindler and any other word to paint a not-so-great picture. You know of some of his deeds firsthand - no matter what your clown says he tends to ramble. Yet somehow it hardly pushes you away.
He is just…different when he drops by. First clue is him sticking to you and your daughter in the first place, I mean, where would you find a man of the Sampo Koski kind who would willingly hang out with a divorcee and her seven-year old kid? Who would go to the Opera just to see you perform? Play babysitter for your girl whenever he visits? Flirt with you without any ulterior motives included? Occupy your kitchen without blowing it up? Hold you in his arms at night and happily welcome the little princess to cuddle? Never ever ask to get intimate with him, even though it's clear as day that his antics have rubbed on you, making you more receptive to his affection?
And now he is offering his help to a sick girl, who's just recently started calling him 'pa'. Either the snow will melt tomorrow and the sun will burn the metal, or Sampo is complex and loyal enough to view your extraordinary trio as a functioning family.
And the second probability is the one you like to believe in.
You almost jump when an arm slithers around your waist and brings your body closer to the sturdy one. Glancing up you see a grinning face lacking any trace of makeup, familiar short hair with a rollicking fringe and a precious gem of an eye gazing at you with teasing.
"What got you stuck here for so long, gorgeous? Were you daydreaming of me, perhaps?"
Damn, now he is lifting his eyebrows suggestively.
"Not necessarily daydreaming, but I was thinking of you, yeah," you yawn again, stepping forward and making him, still attached to your side, follow you.
"Good things, I hope?" Unintentionally his fingers flex, digging lightly into your skin. You decide not to look into his eyes this time - as much as you want to turn him shy.
"Mhm. With a hint of you being annoying though."
He huffs in offense. But fingers relax.
Just as you arrive at your daughter's bedroom you slide out of his half-embrace and reach for the knob, turning it quietly and opening the door. It’s quiet inside, with light pouring through the big window and illuminating the small figure of your daughter, seated under the blanket and reading a book. Upon hearing spotting the motion on her left, she glances up and when your gazes meet, you softly smile.
"Hey, sweety, guess who came to visit?"
"Pa!?"
The girl leans forward from multiple pillows behind her head and back, and little eyes sparkle with excitement. She notices the tall man in the door frame as you open the door more, revealing the pleasant surprise. Your angel claps her hands and wants to laugh, but sharp pain claws at her throat, choking her with a cough.
You and Sampo both rush to the bed. You understand that only when your hands cup her face simultaneously - his on her cheeks and yours on top of his knuckles. You coo sweetly, kissing her forehead and letting her into the man's embrace, closely watching when his strong arms tenderly wrap around this fragile body. She is murmuring something to him that makes him smile, and then he whispers something back, making her bury her face in his chest more and the lock of arms around his neck get tighter.
"He'll keep you company while I'll be sleeping for a little bit, alright, baby?" You caress her back and see her nod. "Then I'll leave you two to it. Sampo, her medicine is on the table over there, she needs to take the next pill in two hours. Also some chicken soup is in the kitchen. And if something goes wrong-"
"It won't," he cuts you off softly, "Sampo Koski will try his best."
"Okay… but if anything I'm one phone call and one door away."
"Point taken. Now go and rest. Me and princess have some quality time to spend."
For the first time in three days your eyes do not hurt upon opening up. Head doesn't throb, and heart doesn't ache for your girl, pushing your whole body to run to her room and tend to her. Allowing yourself a nice stretch - all arms and legs and arched back, you spread out on your bed. A quick glance to the alarm clock on a bedside table tells you it’s evening already and a stomach that rumbles the next second reminds you of a missed lunch. But first you have a girl and a man to check on.
Groaning, you force your body to get up and leave for the bathroom.
A little fresher and with hair a bit less wild, you exit your room and quietly tiptoe to your daughter’s bedroom, listening to any sign of interaction inside. Finding none, you carefully push the door open and stick your head inside, immediately noticing the familiar soft light of the nightstand lamp.
And then your gaze meets the one of gleaming emeralds. They steal your breath away and for a few moments you can’t bring yourself to look anywhere else. And then his eyes crinkle and you glance lower, seeing his lips tugging in an adoring smile. Can you still be dreaming? It sure feels like a tender fantasy, especially with your girl tucked to his chest with his arm around her little body and sleeping - her breath is still labored and nose is sure stuffy, but she looks much more content than this morning.
Just before you can open your mouth, Sampo hastily presses a finger to his lips. Next he lifts a hand with a phone in it and shakes it a little, accentuating your attention on the device.
Oh, right, your phone!
Quickly nodding you step out, not missing a quiet chuckle he releases, and as quickly and soundlessly as you can, hurry back to your room.
When you pick your phone there are already a couple of messages awaiting you.
Popo: Hey, just so you know she took her medicine and soup and we are reading fairy tales rn Popo: She fell asleep
You coo out loud at the cute selfie the man sent you with the message. Your daughter’s cheek pressed to his chest and little hands holding onto the blanket as the lower half of Sampo’s face got into the image as well. And there you see a smile.
As you are grinning giddily and saving the picture, a new message pops up, and then two more.
Popo: Heeeey where are you, pretty mama Popo: What takes you so looooong Popo: I wanna see your beautiful face, come baaaaaack 😩
‘Clingy,’ you snort, and type the very same word back, which gets you a gasping sticker.
You do, however, come back, and you never knew a person’s face could light up more. Oh, wait, you knew. Exactly because of Sampo.
Slowly lowering yourself on the edge of the bed - which is almost completely overtaken by a buff man (no surprise he had your daughter on his chest) you open the chat back.
You: Thank you, Sampo. She looks better than before. Popo: Don’t even mention it. But I want a reward~ You: Sampo, I am not kissing you, do you want all of us to potentially get sick? Popo: I wasn’t going ask for a kiss, but now that you mention it hehe 😙
You glance up from your phone and pinch his calf, making him bite his lip. At least it wiped that shit-eating grin off his face.
Popo: Ok, ok, I was kidding! But I do want a reward. Gimme your hand. You: What for? Popo: Just gimme.
Raising an eyebrow, you regard both of his hands - which are occupied. But Sampo winks and takes the phone in a hand, previously resting on the girl’s shoulder, and curls the fingers of his now free outstretched hand. And you slide your fingers over his.
Now the man too looks content.
You: Happy now? Popo: Blessed, I’d say 🥰. Want me to stay for a couple more days? I could help you around.
You glance up at him again. Your face must be wearing a stunned expression once more, because why else would he rub a thumb over your knuckles in a comforting manner?
You: Actually… I’d love that. And she would too. Popo: Perfect, good thing I already canceled all my plans. You: …what if I would’ve said no? Popo: I would’ve still stayed. Or get into your apartment against your will. You: Like I didn’t willingly give you a spare key - don’t make it sound like a breaking in. Popo: You know I could 😇
Shaking your head, but nevertheless smiling you tighten a hold around his hand.
You: Yeah, I know. Thank you again. Really. It means a lot. Popo: What, suggesting breaking into your apartment? You: Sampo… Popo: I’m messing with you! Just don’t pinch me again, I beg you.
You swear, if this man gets sick, you are not going to take care of his sorry ass.
…the decision you completely ditch when he actually does. Well, at the very least you girl, who recovered with your combined efforts, is happy he is staying for longer.
Also hearing him whine and demand kisses is so funny.

👁️👁️ can you drop the Dante meta design lore :3
ERMMM yes I can 👀💕
hi tumblr, you don't know who Dante is yet but you're about to!!
Extremely brief overview for anyone who doesn't know: Dante Inferno (they/he) is my drow fathomless warlock, pirate captain, and awful babygirl who wants the world to burn. Dante took on their warlock pact to get power and bring suffering to those who wronged them and hopefully find the daughter that was stolen from them many years ago. However, this pact comes at a price... it's actually Dante's misery that the patron is most interested in. 🥀 They may be in too deep to figure this out though!! For years, they've been self-destructing and falling deeper into corruption... and are quickly hurtling towards a future where they may be left with nothing of who they once were.
Anyways!! This corruption is represented heavily within their design!! This is most apparent with their tattoos, which reflect how much power/abilities Dante has accrued. Their body itself serves as their warlock tome.
📌 Each of their "tattoos" are actually scars that Dante has left on their own body, carved into the skin by ritual dagger, to imbue their body with power. The scars have blackened as though frostbitten, but this is more for visual effect.
Here's what each tattoo symbolizes:
(LEFT ARM) Abyssal/Deep Speech Runes: Each symbol correlates to a different spell ability that they’ve been provided by their patron. Spells like Eldritch Blast, Hex, Cause Fear.
(RIGHT ARM) Sea-Serpent: This is their summons arm! Dante, as a warlock, tends to lean more into the control + summoner type! This arm corresponds to their ability to summon different abyssal/deep sea entities to assist them in battle. Spells include: Evard's Black Tentacles, Summon Undead, Tentacle of the Deep (ability).
Back Tattoo: These deep speech/abyssal runes spell out the word TREACHERY. It was carved into their skin by their patron and represents the abilities granted by their Eldritch Invocations.
(Back of) Neck Tattoo: A marking left by the Spider Queen when Dante made an agreement with her. YEP! They've made two deals with different demonic entities. This tattoo basically represents her eyes at the back of her neck. (I can explain their pact with her but. that's for another post FSGHSJ)
Gills: The first marks they carved into their body when they took on their pact. This gives them the permanent ability to breathe underwater.
X on chest: This one actually isn't related to their warlock abilities at all. It's actually a promise they made to their daughter... to find her again. X marks the spot. (They had cut an X into her cheek when they were separated so that they'd be able to recognize her in the future. So much more to say abt this but that's the gist!)
They were going to keep gaining more marks as the campaign went on longer... And eventually, the tips of their extremities were going to begin to blacken from all of the corrupt power they were storing!
📌 Also, fun fact for you, Tooth! Dante was eventually going to take the Eldritch Invocation that would allow them to send messages to others by writing on their skin. They were going to have some of the Bleeding Hearts carve their names onto their body so they could do that :3
And for the rest of the meta design lore, I'll also put those into bullet points for ease:
Their eyes have split heterochromia (red and blue halves in both iris) and slit pupils. The heterochromia was brought on by their pact and just kinda gives them a rly freaky look!
They've usually always got some spider motifs on em,, they have an extremely complicated relationship w the Spider Queen and their identity as a drow. But we can also say that it's just because the spider motif drip goes hard.
This isn't smth that can be reflected in art easily but their skin is COLD to the touch! Warmth no longer feels the same to them anymore.
#the askerrr#kara oc#oc dante#dante meta#kara rambles#hiii tooth thanks for unlocking the dante vault ADFSGHJD#this guy makes me INSANE!!!! there are so many things WRONG WITH HIM#i have so much dante art to upload here; it's gonna take a hot minute to catch tumblr up to speed adfghdj#they defo have one of the most involved backstories#there are THEMES!!! there is SYMBOLISM!! not to mention how much happened in the campaign that just compounded this#long post

Brown Eyes
Alec Volturi x Astral Projecting! Reader
Warning: Brief mention of suicide
Disclaimer: Hi! I had this idea for an Alec fic. I'm sorry though since it's been so long since I wrote a story so I'm a bit rusty. Alec and Jane are also a bit out of character in this. I tried. Enjoy!
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Sitting under the brightly lit, starry sky, appreciating the light breeze free of pollution. Once again, waiting for a certain brown-eyed boy. "__! Sorry for making you wait. I promised Mother I'll help Jane with her errands today" the boy said, lightly jogging towards the smiling girl. "Hey, Alec! Don't worry. I didn't wait that long" The girl said reassuringly while patting a seat next to her. "So, are you ever gonna tell me where you've been? I can't help but notice you only show up every night" Alec asked, slightly turning his head to __. "Hmm, like I said, I'm not from here. I just so happened to stumble upon your village when I met you. I started hanging around ever since," The girl said, smiling softly, knowing she couldn't say where she was really from. Not only is she not sure of herself, but he also would not believe her if she told him her guess. "Fine. Perhaps, I can just walk you home later then?" Alec asked, hoping for a yes. __ turned her head towards Alec. "I want you to Alec. Believe me, I do but you know you can't-" She was about to tell him the usual lines but got cut off by Alec. "Because you're not from here. I know" Alec said with a hint of disappointment. "I'm sorry, Alec," __ said, sadly looking at the said boy. The moonlight illuminated his pale face, making his brown eyes sparkle even more. "Don't worry, __. Just promise me next time you'll let me walk you home at least. It's dangerous for a girl to walk at this time of night" Alec said, staring at __. __ smiled brightly at the boy, once again facing the starlit skies. The two continued to enjoy each other's company until it was time for Alec to head back to his waiting mother and twin.
Ever since the night __ showed up, they've started meeting up at the same location, talking about anything and everything. The two surely enjoyed each other's company. They became an escape from the cruel reality they lived in. Alec stumbled upon a seemingly lost __ one night when he was out getting some firewood. Without any hesitation, he helped the girl, offering to stay in their humble cabin with his mother and sister. The girl, of course, declined, knowing she was not even supposed to be there.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Opening her eyes, __ was met with the all too familiar ceiling of her room. Him again. The girl thought to herself. Feeling tired despite waking up from a full night's slumber. Smelling breakfast cooking downstairs, she hurriedly finished her morning routine leaving some more time for her to at least eat her breakfast without being late for school.
Alec. The boy with the sparkling brown eyes. Ever since my mother died and I moved here to Forks with my Uncle Charlie and his daughter Isabella, I've been dreaming about a boy named Alec. A dream that feels like reality. A dream like no other. It started with me waking up in a clearing near a small cabin. I saw a boy, not that older than me holding a bunch of wood. Not knowing where I was, I decided to approach the boy. That's when I noticed his eyes. His hazel-coloured eyes seemed to reflect the brightness of the moon. Ever since then, as much as I want to deny it, I've been looking forward to sleep. Because through sleeping, I get to escape this reality.
"Morning, __. Come and eat. I made breakfast" Sue said, smiling and placing a plate of bacon on the table. "Hey, kid. Good sleep?" Charlie asked, fixing his tie, and preparing to go down to the station. __ smiled, taking a bite out of her bacon. "Yep. I slept early. Didn't wanna be late" Said __. "By the way, Bella and Edward might drop off later along with Ness," Charlie said while heading to his cruiser. "Oh, nice. I'll make sure to come home early then. I miss my niece" __ said hurriedly, dropping off her plate by the sink. She quickly gave her step-aunt a quick hug before heading out of the house.
Saddling herself atop her BMW R18 bike, she fixed her helmet, making sure it securely buckled, before lighting a quick smoke, making sure Charlie was already out of sight before starting her engine.
Time goes by slowly for __. All she wanted to do was to go home, take a quick refreshing shower, and snuggle on her fluffy bed, hoping to see her brown-eyed boy. But alas, here she is, sitting in English class, bored out of her wits. Without knowing, __ dozed off.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Once again, she finds herself in the middle of a clearing near a small cabin. Happiness and relief filled her heart. She'd get to see Alec again for sure. "Brother, help me with this, please. I can't reach it" she heard what sounded like a girl calling out. "Just a moment, sister. Let me finish feeding the last chicken. I'll be there" Excitement filled the girl when she heard the voice. It's Alec. I have to hurry. The girl hurriedly followed the voice, pinning her outside of a small cabin. It was a simple cabin made of wood. Outside it has a small garden of what looked like an assortment of flowers and even vegetables. A bit farther to the east, she saw a girl not that much older than her, trying to hang the newly washed clothes. From a short distance, she was met with a familiar build walking towards them. Alec. She quickly approached the twins, excited to see Alec. Shortly, the twins notice her. Alec beamed when his eyes landed on the familiar girl. "__! You're early today" He said, waving at the girl. "Hey, Alec" __ smiled at the duo. "Oh, this is my twin, Jane, by the way. I told you she was real, sister". Alec said. The blonde girl turned to __. "Hello, I'm Jane. I'm Alec's twin. Ever since the other night, he's been talking about you nonstop. I and Mother thought he was making it up" Jane said, walking up to __. "It's nice meeting you too, Jane. I've heard so much about you from Alec. He loves his sister dearly", __ said, turning her head towards Alec, who just snorted. "I do not. Jane's annoying", Alec said, playfully pushing his fuming sister. "Ugh, Alec. I'll tell Mother" Jane said, running towards the house.
Laughing, Alec turned towards the girl, still holding the basket of chicken feed. "So, you're early today" He asked, motioning the girl to follow him to the small shed by their cabin. "Well, I had nothing better to do at home, so why not?" __ said, following suit, watching Alec work on a rusty farming tool. The said boy paused for a while, his brown eyes looking straight at the girl's __ colored ones, sending chills down her spine. As crazy as it sounds, the same brown eyes that sent her to not wanting to wake up. The same brown eyes she came to love in just a few nights. "Answer me honestly, __. You're not from here. I get it now. You're literally not from here. The way you talk, the way you dress. Everything about you. You're not even supposed to be here are you?" Alec asked, still staring at the bewildered girl. "Honestly, Alec. I don't know. I don't know how to answer you because I don't know how I do it. I don't even know why I'm here. It sounds crazy, Alec. I know. The only thing I know is this is the only time in my life that I look forward to. Even though I know it's wrong. I'm not from here. I don't even know if this is all real. But after meeting you, you've become an escape for me. An escape from the reality I live in. The reality of losing my mother, being forced to live across states, being forced to smile despite everything. So to answer your question, I don't know. But what I do know is that I don't want to leave. I don't want to wake up and go back to my dull life without you." __ said, not knowing that tears were slowly pouring. The boy, quickly dropping his tools, enfulged the girl in a hug, slowly wiping her tears. "I apologize for asking, __. But I have to say that you've also become an escape for me. After that night, I've been looking forward to your arrival. You're one of a kind. While the whole village avoids us and treats us badly, like we're the devil's spawns, you're the only one who is willing to talk to us, more so to befriend us. As selfish as it sounds, part of me is also wishing for you to stay here with me" Alec said, hugging the girl tightly as if their lives both depended on it. They both stayed like that for a while. Both enjoying each other's embrace. That is until they heard a woman's voice calling. "Alec!" Said the voice. "That's my mother. I better go. Why don't you come with me?" Alec said, letting go of the girl. "I'm ok, Alec. I'll wait for you here" said the girl.
I don't want to wake up. Please don't wake me up.- The girl heard loud banging. She looked around, not knowing where the sound was coming from until another loud bang came.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
The professor banged loudly on the sleeping girl's desk, waking her up from her deep slumber. "Ms. Swan, you might wanna wake up now. You're the only one left here. All the others already went home" __ looked up to the source of the voice only to see her professor glaring down at her. The said professor only left a piece of paper on her desk before walking out of the room, shaking his head in disappointment. Great. A detention slip.
__ sat in the detention room, bored out of her wits thinking about the brown-eyed boy. I have to go back. He told me himself. He feels the same way. I have to go back to him. Nothing's waiting for me in this world anyway. Mom and Dad are gone. Uncle Charlie and Aunt Sue probably think of me as a nuisance to have around. Bella's off living her married life. Nothing is left for me in this world. In the other world, I have my Alec.
__ walked along the path to the seemingly empty parking lot. Finally securing her helmet, she saddled herself on her motorbike. Ready to drive along the familiar path, her mind made up of what she's decided to do.
Walking out of the drugstore, sleeping pills in her bag, she hurried home to see her cousin Bella her husband, and child in the living room. Putting down her stuff, she ran to her cousin and niece giving them a tight hug. Edward gave Bella a knowing look. Unbeknownst to the girl her cousin's husband can read all her thoughts.
"__! I missed you. C'mon, let's go to your room. I've been meaning to talk to you" Bella said, practically dragging her cousin up the stairs, leaving her daughter and her husband downstairs. "How are you holding up?" Bella asked, sitting down on the bed while __ sat on her computer desk. "Holding up just fine, Bells. Don't worry about me. I'm feeling amazing. I've never felt this good in a while" __ said smiling up to her cousin. "By the way, Bells, I know Ness wanted to have her gaming console and you guys are still thinking about buying one for her. Well, I've been thinking. I haven't been using my Switch lately so why not just give it to her? Don't worry about the games. I have tons. You can filter out the games if you'd like" __ said, happily. Bella watched her cousin sadly as she went around the room gathering the said games, packing it all in a bag before offering it to Bella. Instead of accepting the bag, Bella held her cousin's hand. "Cous, I appreciate the gesture but we can't accept that just yet. Look, why don't we go hang out with Ed's brothers later at our house? You can bring the Switch. I'm sure Ness will enjoy a game night later" Bella asked. "Sorry, Bells, I have to catch up on school wor-" The girl was not able to finish her sentence as her cousin was quick to cut off her. "Please? This is a favor. I owe you. Just come with us later. I promise you'll enjoy it. Besides, you need a break" As Bella pleaded, she heard her husband calling for her from below. Bella once again looked at her, smiling. "Fine. Let me grab my stuff then let's go" said __. Well, this is the least I could do for what I'm about to do later. They deserve this much. __ thought to herself not knowing the sad look Edward had downstairs.
Edward watched her wife and child play with Charlie in the living room when he heard a faint thought probably from miles away. "This is it. Almost home. I hope these pills work. Please work. I need to see him. I need to go back to my Alec. Nothing is waiting for me in this world. Mom and Dad are dead. I'm just a bother, a nuisance to everyone. To Uncle Charlie, Aunt Sue, Bella, Edward, Ness. I'm sure they'll be better off without another responsibility. I have to do this". If vampires still had blood in their system, Edward would have probably paled. That was __. She can't be thinking about that. And what does she mean by seeing Alec? She doesn't even know about the existence of vampires, much less, the existence of the Volturi. "Can't this bike go a bit faster? I'm so excited to see my brown-eyed boy". Maybe I'll agree to Alec's offer to meet his Mother later." Edward was shocked by what he heard. Brown-eyes? Mother? With that, Edward excused his wife to the kitchen to tell her what he discovered and the possible reason for the occurrence.
__ entered Edward's Volvo, sitting down beside her niece, her plans delayed. In no time they were on the road heading to the Cullen house. Without knowing, the girl drifted off to a long-wanted slumber.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
It was dark. Screaming was heard from the distance. __, realizing where she was, quickly ran towards her beloved's cabin. There she saw the villagers dragging the struggling twins out the door, pitchforks and torch on hand. Once the twins were out, they took out their screaming mother as well. Horrified, she ran towards the group of villagers to try to stop the scene. "BURN THE WITCHES!!!" One of the villagers screamed followed by the others. "NO PLEASE, YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND. THEY'RE NOT WITCHES! LET THEM GO. ALEC!!!" __ screamed, holding on to one of the villagers holding a struggling Alec. "__! Run. Please. Don't get caught up on this. PLEASE, EVERYONE, DON'T HURT HER. SHE'S NOT A PART OF THIS. __! GO BACK TO WHERE YOU CAME FOR. PLEASE" Alec pleaded while being dragged. Before __ reached the boy, she was held back by a gruff-looking villager. "NO PLEASE, SIR, LET THEM GO!" The girl pleaded. "Stay back, madam. You've already been enchanted by the witches. Once they're gone, the spell will be broken" The villager said. __ kicked and screamed to be let go as she watched her beloved and his family get tied to the stake, ready to be burned while hearing the other villagers chanting to burn the witches. "PLEASE NO! BURN ME. BURN ME INSTEAD, PLEASE, ALEC!" __ screamed helplessly. "NO! DON'T. DON'T TOUCH HER. SHE'S SAYING THAT BECAUSE OF MY SPELL. I CURSED HER. DON'T HURT HER" Alec pleaded. __ only watched helplessly, crying to all the Gods to help her beloved brown-eyed boy. The last thing she remembered from that night was Alec mouthing one last "I love you" before closing his eyes and accepting his fate.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
__ woke up screaming in an unfamiliar environment. Tears streaming down her face. She quickly hopped down the white bed, ran to her bag, and rummaged for the sleeping pills only to be stopped by her cousin, her husband by the door. Bella lightly shook the girl. "__! You're ok. Please, you're ok" Bella pleaded while hugging her struggling cousin both because of reassurance and for her not to be able to reach the pills. "LET ME GO, BELLA!" __ screamed and struggled to no avail. Human against a vampire after all. Bella only loosened her grip when she felt her cousin stop fighting. "You don't understand, Bella. I have to go back. I have to save my Alec. He's being burned, Bells. Please let me help him. There's nothing left for me here, please" __ pleaded. Although no tears can be produced, Bella felt her cousin's pain. "We're here, __. You may think there's nothing left for you but we're here. You can't leave us just yet. Ness can't lose her Aunty yet. There's also nothing you can do about Alec. You can't change anything. What's done is done, __". __ snapped her head up to her cousin, staring at her unbelievingly. "What do you mean?" __ whispered. As if on cue, Edward called them both. "It's time, Bells. They're here."
Running across the forest towards the Cullen's residence, Alec felt different. He felt a pull towards the said residence causing him to hurry. "Brother!" He was snapped out of his thoughts by his twin. "Sister, I apologize. I didn't hear you. What were you saying?" He turned to his sister. "I was asking if you're ok. As soon as we stepped foot in Washington, you started to act dazed" Jane asked his brother worriedly. "I'm fine, sister. I just feel weird. It's like something is pulling me towards the Cullens" He stated. "You're talking like you're about to find your mate with the Cullens" Jane said to her brother jokingly with a small smile. This side of her only shows her brother. Alec internally cringed at the thought.
As they near the Cullen's house, the stronger the pull. Until a certain smell reached his nose. A smell so intoxicating, a smell so sweet that it makes his throat burn despite just feeding on a couple of humans on the way to their destination. With that, the duo hurried to the residence to finish the mission Aro entrusted them: To check on the hybrid.
The pair arrived at the residence. Carlisle, the family's patriarch, standing by the doorstep. "Alec, Jane. It's nice to see the both of you. Come join us inside. Renesmee is with Edward". Carlisle said, stepping out of the way for the duo to enter. The scent ever so worsening, piercing Alec's whole being, causing further burning on his throat. Edward being able to hear his thoughts already had an idea of what was causing the burn, having experienced what the twin is experiencing before with Bella when she was a human. He may not be fond of the thought that the cousin-in-law he came to love as his sister will be mated with a Volturi, he does not say anything as he knows he's not one to talk knowing how blood-singer works.
Hearing new voices downstairs, __ can't help but feel a pull. "I'm sure Aro will be delighted to hear that the hybrid is not a threat. If we're correct, she's already reached her full maturity" Hearing those words, __ instantly felt her heart leap. That voice. Can it be? My Alec. My dear Alec is here. But how? I don't understand what's happening. Despite the confusion, she hurried downstairs to confirm her assumptions.
Heart full of hope, she hurried down the stairs. There she saw two people in black. Then she was splashed with cold water, she was met with a sight that gave her hope. Standing by the piano was her beloved with his twin. I don't understand. He's from my dream. I watched them both burn. What is happening?
As the twins are watching Renesmee play on the Piano, Alec once again, is hit with the intoxicating scent. Desperate to find the source, he snapped his head up towards the staircase where a familiar __-haired girl was standing. She seemed familiar. Everything about her feels familiar, feels like home however, no matter how much Alec wracked his brain, he can't seem to pinpoint how and where he met the girl. The moment he locked eyes with the girl, everything went flying out of the window. Nothing ever mattered. Not Aro, not his reputation, not the Volturi. All that matters is this familiar girl. Everything clicked. The scent. Her blood sings to him. Jane was right after all. He will find his mate with the Cullens.
Despite not liking the situation, Edward can't help but smile. This is better for his mate's cousin. She finally found her other half.
In an instant, Alec was in front of __, shocking the girl. She didn't have any idea about the vampire world after all. Nevertheless, she still touched the boy's cheek with her palm, caressing it softly, not minding the cold temperature in contrast to her fairly warm hand. "Alec. You're ok. But your eyes?" she said. Shocked that she knew his name, he finally found his voice. "You know my name?" This seems to strike something within the young girl. "You don't remember" she said, all hope leaving her. Sensing the pain in the girl seemed to hurt him as well. The exchange was cut off by the other twin. "Brother, if I understood correctly, it seemed that you have found your mate in this human. Although Caius will be thrilled to know that the Cullens are yet again endangering our species by telling another human of our existence" said Jane. That statement seemed to anger the male vampire and for the first time in centuries, that anger was towards his dear sister. "Yes, I have found my mate. However, you will not interfere, sister. This will not reach the masters. __ shall remain unharmed" Alec said, black mist slowly seeping from his palms, ready to protect his dear mate. Sensing the anger radiating from her brother, Jane was quick to reassure her brother. As much as she hated the fact that her dearest brother was mated to a human, one associated with the Cullens nonetheless, her priority is still her brother's happiness and if accepting the human is required then she's willing to adjust. "Understood, brother. We shall tell them once you're ready. It pains me that you think I'll hurt your mate" Jane said, slowly approaching the two. "Jane? It's you. You're also safe. Oh, thank God. But your eyes though. And, Alec, you're so cold. Are you ok? Are you sick?" __ said, relief turning to worry in seconds.
"Sorry to break the moment but Alec, Jane, she's not aware of our existence. If I'm not mistaken, she's also been having visions about you even before now, Alec" Edward said. "I see. Brother, I believe it's best to explain the situation to her" Jane said, turning to her twin. "Yes. Jane, can we excuse you outside? We need I have to tell you something about those visions" Bella whispered so low as to not let the human girl hear. Everyone left the two mates together.
"What happened to you Alec?" __ asked sitting down. Before he could respond, he saw tears slowly pouring from the girl's eyes. Quickly, he wiped away the tears. "I'm sorry I wasn't able to do anything, I wasn't able to stop the villagers, Alec" said the girl, tears streaming down her cheeks. That statement seemed to bring all the memories of that night to Alec. That's why she's familiar. She's the girl who only appears at night. The girl who insists she's not from there. It all makes sense now. Alec thought to himself. "__. It makes sense now. You are not from that era, are you? That's why you keep on disappearing" He unknowingly said, voicing out his thoughts. "Yes, and I'm sorry. I'm really sorry. I did try going back but I can't-" Before she finished, she was cut off by Alec. "Cara Mia, it's not your fault. Even if you come back, there's nothing you can do. And even if you do go back, please don't change anything. Don't save us. If you do, we won't be able to meet here" Alec said, holding both of __'s hands. "I don't understand, Alec. What's happening?" __ said, gripping Alec's hand. "Don't worry, __. Let me explain everything but you have to relax. Ok, Cara Mia?" Alec said, gently brushing his thumb across her face. With that, the boy opened the world of the supernatural to the girl.
Jane sat in Bella and Edward's small forest cabin along with the other Cullens, trying to understand the situation. "__ has been having visions of both you and Alec even before. Much like Alice but with her, it's the past and it only happens when she's asleep" Bella tried to explain the best she could. "I heard her thoughts before going here. She said it started when she moved here to Forks a day after her family's accident" Edward added. "Wait. So time travel?" Jane asked, confusion evident in her voice. "Kind of? In the form of astral projection. I'm sorry, Jane. That's all we know. We only learned about this earlier this afternoon" Alice piped in.
"I want to become a vampire" This statement shocked the vampires walking in from Edward and Bella's. "Alec, turn me now. C'mon, bite me. I'm ready." __ said happily, turning to Alec while exposing her neck which shocked the boy even more. "Love, let's slow down a bit, ok? I know you want to be with me which I'm very happy about but as I explained earlier, once you become like us, there won't be any turn backs" Alec said gently holding her hands. "I know and I'm ready. C'mon let's do it now" She retorted which caused the twins to smile. "How about this? We set a date. How about on your 18th birthday? It will be set a month from now. This way, you'll have enough time to enjoy your mortality and bid your farewells to your human friends. Deal?" Alec said, putting his hands on her waist, and pulling her closer. The newly found mates don't seem to mind the other vampires watching. "Fine. But you have to stay here with me, ok? For a month. Please" She said, putting her forehead against his cold ones. "Of course, that can be arranged, right, sister?" He said, smiling and not bothering to turn his head towards his twin. Jane smiled. Happy that her brother finally found his other half after centuries of waiting. "Of course, brother. I'll give Aro a call" She said happily.
Finally, the two souls seemingly unreachable to each other have met and reunited. Indeed love moves in mysterious ways.

It's Been A Long, Long Time (R13+)
Pairing: miguel o'hara x f reader
summary: your canon event was losing your family including your husband, Miguel and your daughter, Gabriella. Instead of Miguel, you became this Earth's Spider-woman.
word count: 900+
warning: depression, trauma dumping
characters: hobie brown, jessica drew, miguel o'hara, y/n
A/N: Hi! This'll be my first post in this account. I just love the plot and reality shifted into it and now I got sum tea for all of y'all. This is just a part of what happened in my DR, just added some details.
Exhausted from yet another grueling overtime shift at work, you arrive home craving to be greeted by the warm embrace of your husband. Instead, you find an empty home, with no signs of life or activity. It's been 4 years since they've passed.
The silence is deafening, and you can't help but feel a sense of emptiness wash over you. You managed to eat a fastfood take out dinner, take a bath, cry in the tub and then go to bed. You laid down and felt a tingling sensation in your brain.
It's your spidey-sense. You knew something bad is gonna happen but you just don't seem to care, your heart froze over the years. Mourning and grief is all you've ever known.
Still, you reached for the lamp and looked by the window in your apartment.
"Why can't they all just die?" You sighed coldly, raising an eyebrow.
Two men was fatally struck and got ran over by a truck. You notice that glitch again as the sirens fill the road, You went back into bed like nothing happened, still as empty as before. It's been a year since you stopped meddling with civilians, you didn't see a point in saving them.
As you drift off to sleep, a bright, glitchy hexagonal portal appeared into your room, interrupting your sleep. A 7 foot tall, muscular spider variant, another female variant and a spiderpunk variant appeared from the portal.
You pressed the arc reactor at the back of your neck and immediately changed into your spidersuit.
"Amor?" The tall variant asked softly. You recognized his voice immediately because he's the only one who calls you that. You started to tear up under the suit and asked yourself if you're only dreaming. Emotions rush back into your brain after a long time.
"Miguel?" You removed your mask.
"Amor mio!" He greeted you with an embrace, his squeezing hug felt real. You froze in place, completely shocked and confused.
"Is she?" Spiderpunk whispered at the lady.
"Yep. Just let him have his moment." She replied calmly.
"You're back." Your voice breaks as he removes his mask, revealing his watery eyes. He looked at the window for a moment and asked the spiderlady and spiderpunk to fix the 'canon disruption' outside.
"What's happening?"
"Amor, you left traces of canon disruptions for the whole year. Lyla, can you run it?" A small holographic display of a virtual assistant appeared next to him. She explained what canon events are and you ignoring your senses and not saving the neighborhood is a canon event that should be stopped.
"So you were monitoring me since then?" A punch of anger and confusion struck your chest.
"Mi vida, I'm not from here. I'm from another dimension." He explains, holding your hand. He's kneeling on your bed where you sat.
"Wow. So, you can do all this, visit me." You scoffed. He looks down, fidgeting his shaky fingers.
"You can access this dimension all this time but you never did." You have so many questions and you're walking back and forth, having a crisis while asking where he's been all this time. Those questions are left in the open, halted by a moment of silence.
"I lost Gabriella too." He sighs. You halted for a moment to face him. He's staring at the floor, inner brow raised, openly expressing his sadness and regret. His words hang in the air, the gravity of what he's just said hits you like a force of a bullet.
"I tried to live in a universe where I was dead and you're both alive..... but tragedy followed me everywhere.
When I found you and this universe, my hopes went up but I realized that I should probably leave you alone cause I got scared."
"Miggy..."
"It's better being a coward than watch you glitch away repeatedly." His grinned with a pair of watery eyes, trying to hold it back.
"Honey, I'm sorry. I didn't know." You placed your hand on his shoulders. Your touch provided him a sense of comfort and relief.
"I understand, but what you did here, almost causing a nexus event, It's gruesome, It's cold, That's no way to live." He sat next to you, looking directly at your dark hollowed eyes. He's not mad but rather concerned. He knows everything you did, ignoring the city, causing New York to be a hellhole and a safe haven for criminals.
"I know. I feel rotten since you've been gone. I was weak and I didn't know how to cope. I know I can never bring back their lives, I can't save them if I'm drowning but I'll accept the consequences of my actions."
"I'm sorry you feel that way, but this is the only way I can take you with me. I won't make you suffer any longer." He sat you down on the bed and kneeled in front of you, holding your hands in a loving manner.
"Wait.. am I dying? Are you.. are you a ghost?" You cupped his cheeks and lightly taps it, checking his body heat.
"No no no, I'll take you with me. To my universe." He let out a soft chuckle, taking your hand and planted kisses on it.
Your face lightens up, you didn't understand how that would happen but you're just grateful to be together with him. That's what you both longed for, finally having a chance to be together.
"Let's go home."

If you like: AU where Feanor & Co. comes to Middle-earth *without* the first kinslaying...
💖.
AU - First Kinslaying Didn't Happen
I've had to ponder this for a while. So much conflict and plot gets sacrificed if the Noldor don't have their Fall at Alqualonde! But okay, here's what happens:
Feanor, speaks to the Teleri t Alqualonde. But ,,this time, he uses better rhetoric, and Finarfin gets there earlier to do some damage control. Feanor stirs up longing in the hearts of a least half the Teleri to return to their forsaken kin.
Olwe wishes to return and find his brother, but as leader he feels bound to remain with those who wish to stay. But his daughter Earwen goes. The Teleri follow Finarfin and Earwen.
Now there are three hosts under the three sons of Finwe, with Feanor's being the smallest.
So the Noldor & Teleri have boats (yay!) but far, far too few for so big a host. And, because the boats belong to the Teleri, the deal is Finarfin and the Teleri gets to sail them up the coasts.
Now Feanor is being humiliated (as he sees it) by not one but both of his brothers.
Earwen (Finarfin is there, but he is tired; he doesn't really want to do this, honestly) informs the Noldor that they will be sailing to Endor first. They are the better sailors, after all, and there are those among them who dwelt on the very same coasts they are returning to. Once they've scouted it out, they will come back for the others.
Feanor is not having it. He is not letting those Teleri come at Morgoth first!! He plots with his sons to steal the ships. But Earwen is not blinded by kinship and inferiority complexes wrt Feanor; she is one step ahead of him. Earwen and her children set sail in the night.
Finarfin stays behind with the noble but misguided hope that his presence there will somehow keep things peaceable between Feanor and Fingolfin, and reassure them that Earwen intends to come back.
The Teleri have an easy journey over the sea. (Osse is pleased to see them returning to Beleriand, and Ulmo and the rest of the Valar have no reason to try to stop them.)
But it's not so easy when they land. They are immediately spotted by the orc host besieging the Falas. Seeing as they did not listen to Morgoth, they have few weapons and no knowledge of warfare. If not for Finarfin's children and their small contingent of people, who do have some knowledge of war, they would have been completely destroyed.
Angrod and Aegnor drive the host back to Angband... however, they are themselves killed in the valiant push.
Back in Araman, things are tense. Feanor has got it in his head that they should cross the Helcaraxe. There's no way Fingolfin is leading his people across the Helcaraxe, that would be insane. Swords are drawn in council -- Maedhros and Fingon have to wrestle their fathers away from killing each other.
Realising it's better for everyone if they are separated, even Feanor's more reasonable sons get behind his plan to cross the Helcaraxe; in bitterness, they set out without Fingolfin's people.
Meanwhile, in Beleriand, the Teleri of Aman have made contact with the Sindar. Cirdan and Thingol's people agree to help the diminished Teleri sail back for the Noldor they left behind.
They reach Araman to find Fingolfin in conflict with his children over whether to return to Tirion (Fingolfin) or push on to Beleriand (his children). There's also poor Finarfin who would definitely go back if his wife and children were not already over there.
After much debate, everyone decides to take ship, some with more enthusiasm than others. They come to Beleriand.
Meanwhile, on the Helcaraxe, Feanor falls through the ice and dies. (Yep, just like that.)
His sons press on under the determined but untested leadership of Maedhros.
The brothers bicker a lot. Amrod gets pissed off enough to try and turn back, but within sight of his brothers he is swallowed by the ice. So: that's what happens if you try to walk away from the Oath, they all think.
The remaining six come into Beleriand with the first rising of the Moon and Sun and march unhindered straight to the gates of Angband and bang on the gates. No one answers.
The sons retreat south ...
... where they find Fingolfin fully established as a vassal king to Thingol. Fuck that: a) that's not your kingship; b) you made the kingship of the Noldor a vassalage to a Teler?
They also do some mental gymnastics to make it Fingolfin's fault they crossed the Helcaraxe. They had to leave! How else could they have kept peace between their father (dead now btw!) and Fingolfin?? And it's not like they could turn back to Tirion, they had their Oath, you know.
The situation among the Noldor is bad. And no one's captive in Angband to provide an opportunity for conciliatory rescues. What a shame.
Eventually, with all the conflicts brewing, there's still Elf-on-Elf war, but it's in Beleriand. And it's bigger, and worse, with slaying of actual close kin.
Morgoth makes popcorn and laughs.
#au headcanons#first kinslaying#didn't happen... until later#these canon divergence AUs are dangerous#this is very hastily sketched by which I mean it took me like 2 sessions of over an hour each to even make this messy outline#but it was fun to consider! now I must stop before it gets out of control

Fourier never appeared in the main series, but man, he's actually really funny. Absolutely like Subaru in his behavior but less cringe that stems from realism and second-hand embarrassment. Just friends being friends
Since I got my hands on that EX novel, I'm gonna pitch some moments of him so he's at least remembered if his name is brought up. I'll include some pictures for reference, and won't include the whole thing to avoid spoilers
1. This one can be found on the wiki as is: he fell in love with Crusch at first sight, but the moment she saw him, she threatened him with a knife in his own house—she then proceeded to almost attempt suicide for her mistake
2. He's so much like Subaru. He's loud, brash, in love with a girl at first sight, has small worries that he blows out of proportion unless they're absolutely important and life-changing like impending death, falls to his knees in anime-style sulking when told he's not as manly/strong as he wants to be to the girl he likes...
3. After seeing Crusch, you see how there's a guy chasing him in the first picture? That's his tutor. Fourier proceeded to slap him in the face ("MY EYE!!" screamed in comical fashion), drag him down a hall, and make him hit his head on every column and wall in existence
4. In the second picture, where Crusch holds a dagger, Fourier backtracks over it a lot like Subaru would
Fourier: Who would give their daughter a dagger on their birthday? They've no sense.
Crusch: Your Highness, I asked for this dagger from my father as a gift that day.
Fourier: Yep! Your father's the most sensible man ever! Daggers, wonderful gifts to young girls, they are!
5. That illustration of him and Crusch in a sword fight? He did that so Crusch would wear a dress.
Crusch sees him about to fall over like a shaking fawn, pathetic with trembling legs and supporting himself on his sword. He's exhausted and wanting to pass out or cry, and Crusch is like "Should we stop?"
And Fourier is all "NO!" and charges in with war cries the entire time.
"YAAAAAHHHH! CRUUUSCH! WEAR A DRESSS!!!"
I crap not, that's all he shouted, and it kinda scared Crusch.
"Wear makeup! Like flowers! Wear jewelry! Show me that beautiful smileeee!!! Uwaaaaaa!!!"
That's his motivation. It's hilarious and also sad, because he knows he probably hurt Crusch a lot for not letting her wear dresses. He's so exhausted by the end of it that he literally passes out on the ground after Crusch cedes it's her defeat
6. He didn't know Ferris was a boy. So when he had Ferris pose as his fiancee after Crusch couldn't so he could turn down his marriage prospect,
He did so, thinking Ferris was a girl. He only found out afterwards.
Also, before they actually went through with the plan, Fourier was raring to pretend being Crusch's lover, and getting all flustered at the idea. Imagine servant Subaru being all blushy over going on a date with Emilia and wiggling around. Not very different
"M-Me... and Crusch..!!"
"Compose yourself, my prince!"
- Fourier and Ferris, off of memory
7. The castle rumored that Fourier was gay, because he declared he loved Ferris, no matter his gender.
"As long as you're you..!"
Which is really sweet (how Fourier loves him). Still, Ferris worried he hated him after the reveal.
Ferris and Crusch are discussing this new rumor as Ferris is afraid of confronting Fourier after he learned he was a male... then His Highness comes barreling in, basically screaming and crying
"Crusch! Ferris! It's horrible, oh so horrible! I need you two now through the worst struggle of my life! Where are my two trusted people?!"
Because he literally just heard the rumor himself.
I think he was afraid that Crusch wouldn't love him if she thought he was batting for the other team, and that's why he stressed over the rumor? He also feared Crusch not liking him if he got fat
He's so fricken funny and this is just from me skimming the book. I haven't sat down to read it through, but just by skimming, Fourier and Subaru behave so similarly that it's just- my gosh.
Do Ferris and Crusch look at Subaru and think of the prince? When Subaru shouted and disrupted the Royal Selection gathering, and Julius probably saw Joshua, did those two see Fourier?
Granted, Fourier is more wise and composed than Subaru, and probably would've been more graceful about his interruptions, but the shouting of what he wants and thinks when riled up? The "wisdom" (knowledge) that comes out of nowhere, which both Fourier and Subaru have? (Fourier from instinct, Subaru from Return By Death)
Fourier wanted so badly to let Crusch be a woman, and fawned over her beauty and just wanted her to enjoy typical things of women. Subaru kicks his blanket like it's personally assaulting him, just thinking of multiple Emilias as he tries to sleep, and isn't afraid of showing his affection throughout the entire series
On the point of affection, neither of them are afraid of showing it to people they care about. Subaru braids hair, plays with kids, compliments outfits and smiles, Fourier hugs and tells his dreams of futures with his friends and has dances with them, etc.
(They even have the penchant of acting like things are fine to Julius by not telling him anything before they literally collapse in front of him [Fourier in a carriage, Subaru being possessed], leaving Julius to deal with them when things go south)
(On that note, it's sweet that Julius always calls for Ferris when someone is hurting, because he knows who can help best)
Anyway, Fourier? Funny kid. Resembles Subaru. Parallels can probably be drawn from them. Is important to the development of Crusch and Ferris, so it's not bad to remember him. The history of the royal family should come into play when regarding the Archbishop of Lust and Felt, too.
#spoilers#fourier lugunica#a fun kid#has the potential for a lot of analysis#crusch karsten#ferris argyle#felix argyle#ferris#rezero#re:zero#re zero#EX Novel 1#(i think)#before Subaru's arrival#minor character to the main story but a major one to the ex novel#not much else for me to add on to that i can think of#julius juukulius#images#since i skimmed it i might be wrong that subaru and fourier are similar#but i still think parallels can be drawn. like RBD and the intuition of the royal family#maybe felt has that? she chose tonchinkan for their talent?#unsure i cant remember why she took them in#natsuki subaru#lugunica#royal family#ex novel#anyway

does lucie have a similar experience to liv and the domestic violence situation?
maybe someone at school told her that her daddy hits her mom
and then lucie was worried for the rest of the day about if nico does that
and when she got home she was acting weird with nico and wouldn’t really hug him or anything
and then at dinner maybe nico raised his hand at lexi to grab her face for a kiss or something
and lucie starts yelling and screaming at nico
Nonnie, holy shit, this is dark 🥺
Maybe it's a video in school? Like in health class? ( did you all have those lmao) and they showcase different types of abuse and what the signs are. Lucie doesn't see any of those signs in her family, however, she gets very anxious about even the prospect of anything happening between her parents. So when she comes home and sees her parents in the kitchen, she is very observant.
Lexi and Nico are cuddled up at the kitchen island as they work on dinner together. They've been handsy with each other all day, not bothering to hide it in front of their children now. Who cares if their kids know how in love they still are with each other?
Lexi is being chased around by Nico, jokingly asking him to stop, but Nico keeps trying to grab her with his raw meat hands.
"Dad, STOP." Lucie says from across the island. Her little palms press hard into the cool stone of the counter. Nico and Lexi were laughing, then stop when they see the seriousness on their daughter's face. Mack and Sophie are curiously looking on from the kitchen table. "Mom said stop, so you stop."
"Oh.. babe, we were just-" Lexi begins, wrapping an arm around Nico's waist to show she is okay.
"No, Lex, she's right." Nico nods. They share a look. "Kidding or not, if you say stop, I should stop. I'm sorry." He goes over to the sink and washes his hands. Lucie's heart is pounding in her chest as she sits back down on the barstool.
"I'm sorry, honey. Daddy and I didn't mean to make you uncomfortable." Lexi murmurs, coming in front of Lucie. She leans her forearms on the counter, looking at her disgruntled daughter.
"It's not funny when people don't listen."
"Yep. We need to be respectful of people's bodies, boundaries, and words." Nico nods in agreement with his wife, coming around the island to give Lucie a hug. She snuggles into his chest. Nico smoothes her brown hair down, looking at his wife with a cringe. He never wants his girls to think someone continuing on after saying stop is okay.
"I'm sorry, mama." Lexi tilts her head to the side, falling in love with her husband all over again watching him model this behavior for their girls.
"Thank you. I appreciate that. Will you come back and help me without your meaty hands?"
"Yes." He squeezes Lucie tight again, then looks into her confused face. "We good, Lu?"
"Yeah." She sighs, pulling away to go back to her homework.
The Hischiers work quietly, music playing from the Google Home, for the next little bit. Eventually Sophie and Mack head off to play, already done with their school work. This leaves Lucie, Nico, and Lexi alone in the kitchen. After the sounds of her sisters leave the room, Lucie puts her pencil down.
"Why do people hurt people?" They both stand still.
"What do you mean, babe?" Lexi asks.
"Like... when you love someone and you're in a relationship, why would you hit them? We watched a movie in school and these people were in love but arguing and the man hit her. But she didn't tell anyone."
"Well, people shouldn't. That's not love." Lexi says. "That is called domestic violence and it's never okay. It can happen in all different types of relationships, even between kids and their parents." Lucie cringes. "Baby, we would never hit you. I hope you're not worried about that?"
"I know, but why! Why do people do that?" Lucie starts to become emotional. Nico can't stomach the look on her face. He comes back over to her, catching her upset little body into his arms.
"There are a lot of reasons this happens, baby. And none of them are okay. That's what you need to know right now. It's never okay to hit anyone you love." Nico pauses, lips on her head, wondering what she needs to hear the most right now. "You're safe, Luc. We all are in this house, okay?" Lucie nods, exhaling heavily. Lexi comes around to them. Nico opens her arms to get her into their hug. Lucie clings to both her parents.
"We love you, sweet girl." Lexi murmurs to her daughter. Her and Nico look at each other, smiling tenderly, grateful for the soft and safe life they are able to give to their girls.

blurb ideaa for george so gigi is out with a boy and she runs into george and he is in protective uncle mode hahah he’s like wait until i tell your dad
gigi is maybe fifteen when she starts showing a proper interest in dating. she's had little crushes and maybe a sweet little first kiss or two but honestly was too busy just doing her own thing to be that bothered. but she's been seeing this guy for a bit now and she thinks she really likes him. apart from all the questions swirling in her head, am i old enough, does he like me, what's it like being someone's girlfriend, the biggest one in her mind is, how is she going to tell her dad. she had a boy round when she was a bit younger, and he invited the whole band to dinner to stare the poor lad down. luckily he thought it was cool.
but now she is out with her crush, and her parents think she is with friends, but they're too busy with the little girls to really notice what she is doing today anyway which is fine by her. they've walked to get coffee, well frappucinos, and they are now wandering to the park. it's a warm day and gigi is on summer break and hasn't seen her crush since school broke up a week ago. she's giddy. she's even more giddy when he reaches out and takes her hand, swinging it as she walks. this is what her dad writes songs about. she's convinced!
then she sees him. he'd stand out anyway. bleached blond buzz cut. abnormally tall. dark sunglasses. it's george. he's walking towards them, still at a distance. charli isn't there, which gigi thinks with regret, would probably make the situation less bad.
"oh shit," gigi says. the boy looks at her.
"what? what is it?"
"that guy," she says, pointing to him. he's getting closer. she's panicking. "that's my uncle."
"aw nice!" the boy says, "shall we go say hi?"
"no!" gigi says, "of course not. you have to hide."
"i have to what."
"hide. now."
the boy looks around, grinning, amused at her, "where am i supposed to hide. it's a street."
"erm. er. fuck," gigi says, and george is already too close. he's spotted them. his face has lit up.
"hey gus gus," he says, he scoops her into a hug. "what you up to?"
"oh nothing, just hanging with a friend."
george's eyes land on the boy. he raises an eyebrow.
"friend?" he says.
"yep!" gigi says, brightly, "anyway, we've got to go." she all but shoves the boy on. he doesnt move.
"you alright mate," george is saying to him.
"yeah thanks, you gigi's uncle?"
"yep," george says. he straightens up, tall. he blocks out the sun with his head. he puts them both in shadow. gigi takes a deep breath.
"you taking care of this girl?" george says, his face a hard line now.
"yes sir," the boy says. he holds his own. looking at george in the eye.
"you don't do harm to this girl, correct?" george says.
"yes sir."
george snaps back into his happy self. his goofball self. he smiles.
"i gotta meet my missus. cant keep the ladies waiting," he says, "can we?"
"no sir."
"nice to meet you. bye gussy. come round soon okay?" he says. he hugs gigi goodbye.
"please dont tell my dad," she whispers to him. he doesnt respond until he starts to walk away. he winks at her.
"oh ho ho. i'm telling your dad," he says. and then he is gone.
gigi puts her head in her hands, "we're screwed."
"we'll be okay. you're dad doesnt sound like a hardass," the boy says, putting his arm around gigi.
"he is when it comes to me," she says, "he'll pretend to be all cool with it but he'll stare at you when i'm not looking. cry to my mum about me growing up. "
"nothing i cant handle," the boy says.
"then he'll write a song about you called, little shit get away from my daughter or something."
"that sounds pretty cool," the boy grins at her.

So if Joel has been gone for two years and Ethan is nine. That would make Esther five? Two years can be a five year old’s entire memory. More of the park fic please? Lenny thinks of Midges kids as his, since he’s been there only male role model for a while? Esther only knows Lenny as dad? No one is happy with Joel returning? Maybe.
(yep! Esther is five, Ethan is nine, Kitty is eight)
Lenny's not sure what to expect.
Things have been so good. He's been clean, and he and Midge just got back from their honeymoon, and he's working, and Midge is working, and the kids are great and things have just been...
Good.
And now Joel is back, and the entire family is coming here for dinner, and Midge has cooked up a fucking storm, and the kids are stressed.
Ethan is, for all intents and purposes, brooding, as much as a nine-year-old can brood, and Esther stays completely silent while Kitty helps Midge in the kitchen.
"No matter what happens with the adults tonight, everything is going to be okay," Lenny promises as he holds a pinkie between the loop in Esther's shoelace to help her tie it. "Whatever arguments, whatever dumb crap gets muttered, it's not at all about any of you."
"I don't wanna see Pop," Ethan tells him grumpily. "He has a new family, he doesn't need us."
Lenny's heart goes out to his stepson. He remembers what it was like to be ditched by his own father. The disappointment and anger. The wondering.
Esther is too young to understand most of this, and Lenny knows that the fact that she calls him "dad" is going to cause a fight that he's not looking forward to, but there's nothing for it.
Kitty is playing support staff, and at eight-going-on-thirty-five, she gets it all too well as she busies herself with helping Midge.
"Are we all ready?" Rose asks as she steps into the living room.
"Can we cancel?" Ethan asks.
"If only," Abe laments as he joins them.
"It'll be fine," Lenny insists.
"It probably won't be," Rose corrects him. "But we'll get through it."
Esther frowns. "I'm scared now."
Lenny sighs and scoops her up. "Don't be scared, darling, it'll all be fine. Grandma is just worried."
Esther cuddles in against him and rests her head on his shoulder. "Okay, Dad."
The knock on the door makes all of them freeze.
"Ready?" Midge asks, dashing towards the foyer.
"No!" Abe, Ethan and Rose call.
"Tough luck!" Midge calls back as she opens up the door. "Maisels! Come on in."
Shirley rushes in first. "Where are my grandbabies?" she calls as she steps into the living room. "There they are, oh they've gotten so big!"
"You saw them a week ago," Abe points out.
Shirley waves him off as she kisses Ethan loudly and then Esther, and then Kitty. "They're beautiful and they get more gornw up every day."
"Yes, Kitty will be forty in a month," Lenny quips.
"What?" Shirley asks.
"Nothing," Midge promises.
Moishe steps in next, greeting everyone, and Joel lags behind, obviously observing the situation. His eyes wander around the room, and when Lenny turns with Esther still in his arms he freezes.
"What the fuck," Joel mutters.
Midge takes a breath. "Joel, this is Lenny, my husband. Lenny, Joel, my ex."
"Lenny Bruce married my ex-wife and now he's holding my daughter," Joel mutters, in a bit of a daze.
Rose looks deeply unimpressed as she tries to take Esther from Lenny, but the little girls holds on.
"No," she says firmly. "I wanna stay with Dad."
"I'm dad," Joel snaps.
"Sure you are," Ethan snorts.
"Hey," Joel warns. "I am your father."
"Some father, you ran away!" Ethan cries. "Twice!"
"Wow, this has gone downhill so much quicker than I thought it would," Midge mutters. "Noah, Astrid and Chaim aren't even here yet."
"Have we missed the total meltdown?" Noah asks as he and his family step inside.
"We're not knocking anymore?" Midge asks, lifting an eyebrow as she turns to him.
"Not for this shit show," he tells her.
"Hi everyone," Astrid beams as she goes around kissing all the children.
"Apparently the floor is lava, and I'm the only thing keeping Esther from melting," Lenny quips.
"Aw, sweetie," Astrid coos, coaxing the little girl out of Lenny's arms. "It's okay. See? Your dad is here."
Esther looks at Joel, deeply confused and looks at Midge. "Mama?"
Midge takes a breath. "Your dad was here when you were very, very little," she explains, walking over and taking Esther into her own arms. "And he's moving back to New York to spend time with you and your brother."
Ethan's snort is loud and derisive.
"You were not kidding about him," Joel marvels, looking to Midge.
She shrugs. "You were warned."
"I'm Kitty," Kitty blurts out.
Lenny chuckles and wraps an arm around her shoulders. "It's okay, Kit."
Joel looks around him, obviously overwhelmed. "I...I just-"
"Weren't expecting time to have passed and people to have moved on?" Abe asks him.
"Pop," Noah admonishes. "It's a lot," Noah tells Joel. "But yeah. Midge and Lenny got together shortly before you left for Chicago, and they've been together ever since. They got married a couple months ago."
Joel turns to Midge, glowering. "You could have warned me it was Lenny Bruce!"
"No," Esther snaps, reaching out to push him. "Be nice to Mama."
"Yeah, don't yell at Ma!" Ethan cries.
"This is so much worse than I thought it would be," Moishe mutters.
"I knew it would be awful," Rose tells him. "Why don't we all get settled. I'll make drinks."
Midge shifts Esther back into Lenny's arms. "I'll finish up dinner."
"I'll help!" Kitty says, trailing after her.
"This is...I'm in hell," Joel says. "Is this hell? Jews don't believe in hell, but-"
"Now you're just being dramatic," Abe admonishes.
Astrid lifts Chaim into her arms. "Let's get you kids some juice."
"Hey, juice!" Lenny chimes in, taking Kitty's hand and nodding Ethan along. "Let's do that."
"Scotch, Lenny?" Abe asks.
"A double," he mutters.
Joel watches them walk out and then turns to the other adults. "What the fuck."
"You left," Noah tells him. "You left, and you told Midge you wanted a fresh start in Chicago, and that you would reach out when you were ready. Did you?"
"She purposefully married Lenny Bruce and didn't tell me!" Joel cries.
Moishe groans. "Joel, I get that you're having some shock from being away for so long, but can you please calm down so we can drink our drinks and have dinner in peace?"
"I agree with Moishe," Abe says as he passes drinks around. "Let's have some calm tonight."
"I don't know why you're surprised Miriam moved on," Shirley says to her son. "She's gorgeous and wealthy now."
"Ma, really?"
Moishe takes a glass of whiskey from Abe and shoves it at Joel. "Drink this and shut up."

The Scully Family In-Depth (Part II): The First Christmas Death
The first time we see Scully engage with her family is in the infamous Beyond the Sea; and it establishes quite a bit about her personal life with the episode opening alone.
**Note**: I recommend reading the Typing posts for each of the Scullys (located in the Typing section here.)
Beyond the Sea
“You gonna leave this up all year?” Captain Scully asks, a tease sparkling in his eyes.
Scully doesn’t pause her busy-bee buzzing around the kitchen as she answers, “Yep. All year.”
Her voice is light-- intentionally buoyant and unpolished, making her seem years younger-- and her lips pull up on one side in a smirk. “Since you always made us take the Christmas tree down the day after Christmas, I’m making up for lost time.”
She’s teasing back in the same dead-pan: what appears to be a poke is “betrayed” by a twinkle in her eyes.
Her father wanders in to further their light-hearted discussion,
but drops in a little paternal my- way-is-best-you’ll-see warning: “If your idea of a good time is to pick up pine needles, treat yourself.”
Maggie wanders into frame, not to be left out of this tete-a-tete-- “As if he’s an authority on having a good time”-- poking back at her husband while reminding him he’s sounding a bit too authoritarian.
Scully seems to treat her mother with more gravitas than her father, pausing to listen and engage more seriously with the conversation.
Dad Scully is delighted to be soundly defeated.
The whole family shares a “got ya back” humor, suppressing their smirks and enjoying themselves in a twofold manner: savoring the joke while purposefully not reacting to it, making it a double joke.
In this scene, Scully glances back and forth between her parents, gauging their reactions and reveling in their good humor-- which, as was discussed in Part I (see here), has been a while for her since she joined the FBI.
Scully hinders Maggie from helping with a quiet “It’s okay, Mom, I’ve got it”; and, again, glues her face to Maggie’s when her mother responds with an “Oh, okay.”
Scully is still heavily reliant on her parents’ reactions towards herself to moderate her own happiness: she’s happy if they’re happy, and she vigilantly zeroes-in on their expressions to see if they've been offended by anything. It would seem the disturbance to their familial equilibrium has been newly re-established; and she’s striving to prove to them-- most likely without them wanting her to-- that she’s capable, smart, and able to take care of herself.
Interesting note: is that she seems more on edge around Maggie than Captain Scully: while he is a no-nonsense Naval man, Scully is still his little girl; and Scully, while affected about his reaction about her job, seems to expect more disdain or anger from Maggie than her father. Or, at the very least, she suspects that the current peace amongst the three of them is largely moderated by Maggie (which proves to be the case.)
“Okay Maggie, let’s shove off.”
Maggie looks up, not ready to go just yet; but immediately acquiesces with a faint “Oh.” She’s rallied by her next sentence-- “Okay”-- and turns to wish her daughter goodbye. Scully gives her a warm hug, careful not to get her dirty hands on her mother’s blouse.
“Well thank you for having us. Dinner was delicious as usual.”
Scully, it seems, is a wizard in the kitchen.
Scully gives her mom a quick, warm smile before stepping away to mock-salute her father:
For a split second, she sucks her lower lip up, a rush of emotion passing over her face temporarily--
perhaps sad he’s leaving so soon, perhaps gearing up to surprise him with her salute, perhaps both of those and something else-- before her adoring smile returns: "Good sailing, Ahab.”
Her father beams and scoops her up in a tight hug--
“Good night, Starbuck.”
These two are incredibly happy to be in each other’s company: is this a reunion of sorts, or simply a rebalancing after their relationship had toppled with the Scully family schism? The three of them had to be alone together during the holidays since Bill, Melissa, and Charlie were out of the house (and seemingly out of the state) while around the time Scully was recruited. Melissa was there for one Christmas before her sister was recruited; but Scully has been teaching at Quantico since, and was recently requested to be a field agent to the X-Files. That means Scully had her parents (mostly) to herself during med school (four to eight years?) and developed an even more connected bond than did her siblings-- which makes sense why the others drop intermittently into Maggie's life but Scully stays. It would have been incredibly devastating to Scully to have her parents' reject her FBI vocation; and heartbreakingly devastating for her parents to lose the stability of seeing their baby girl often because of a demanding, dangerous job.
Maggie prods her husband to question their daughter about her job,
even though both Captain Ahab and Scully want to avoid that topic
(Scully’s “It’s good” followed by a convulsive swallow rings loud and clear as the predecessor to her “I’m fine”s;
and her father’s lip purse, slight nod, and quick retreat betraying that he both does and doesn’t want to know more about his little girl’s job-- like Captain, like Starbuck);
but more than that, Ahab and Scully display various degrees of the same discomfort and disappointment: he feels unable to bridge that uncomfortable gap without damaging their relationship again; and she feels disappointed that her father didn’t inquire further about her goals and her ambitions, crumpling up her napkin
and tossing it
as an expression of how severely letdown she is. All three Scullys gloss over the moment as the two parents coat-up and shuffle out the door, ready to shove the awkwardness back under the rug.
Maggie, it seems, pushes her husband and daughter out of their comfort zones so that they will reconnect faster-- which doesn’t seem to be working, but is a method she uses with Scully the rest of the series. Scully sees that her father is only asking because he’d been told to-- she doesn’t even have to turn to know that Maggie is giving him cues over her shoulder, that’s just how her parents are-- and she feels more insecure after this scenario than she felt before it: ramrod-straight back, all-business “drive carefully”,
and gazing longingly after her father, hoping he’ll reach out for a goodbye kiss or even a final goodbye,
which doesn’t seem to be his normal habit as he walks out in silence without fuss or iciness (he is a man of habit after all, post here.)
Scully again convulsively swallows, trying to shove the weight of anxiety and insecurity off her back;
but it seems to have affected her so deeply that she can’t fall asleep, curling up on the couch watching late-night tv and perhaps a short nap. (Was this before or after Mulder told her his own sleep woes? Likely not at all; and just another human trait of Scully’s she keeps tightly under wraps from everyone.)
Scully suddenly opens her eyes seconds before the lights around her flicker, having felt a second presence in the room;
and lifts her eyebrows, realizing that this person wasn’t a figment of her imagination and that he was her father.
“...Dad?” Scully asks, voice soft and crackly from sleep; and starts to sit up as the lights continue to flicker on and off.
It’s particularly endearing that her right knee pops in and out of frame as she uses her leg to prop up on the couch:
“I thought you guys left. Where’s Mom?” she asks, blearily.
Captain Scully continues to mouth the Lord’s Prayer, eyes locked on her with terminal intensity (heh.)
Despite these strange circumstances, Scully doesn’t seem too fussed, just confused:
her family seems to have abnormal quirks of their own that she takes for granted-- probably why she isn’t disconcerted by abnormal behavior on the X-Files (leading to Mulder’s bewilderment that she can miss obvious clues that the perpetrators are betraying in their behaviors and mannerisms.)
The phone rings, surprising Scully; but when she looks back, her father is gone.
(Also: Scully hung ornaments on her lamp, with the rest of her Christmas kitsch shoved on the table where she writes up her reports. It would seem she doesn’t have the surface space to put her decorations on; but she’d rather give up her work desktop than go holiday cheer-free.)
She stares, a little more nervous, as the phone continues to ring and the lights flicker one more time. Finally, she jumps up to answer the call, taking her security blanket with her.
Scully’s “Hello?”s drops off into incredulous puzzlement when she hears sniffling on the other end of the line;
but before it can get more horror-tropey, Maggie squeaks out, “Dana?”
“Mom? What’s the matter?”
“We, um… we lost your dad.”
Scully listens in shock as Maggie states, “He had, uh, massive coronary. About an hour ago. …He’s gone.”
She visibly starts to shake as she turns to the chair where her father’s ghost sat,
anguish temporarily consumed by fear at this unexplainable circumstance.
There is no comfort in this last goodbye: only terror.
Thank you for reading~
Enjoy!

𝐌𝐔𝐓𝐔𝐀𝐋𝐒 𝐕𝐀𝐋𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐈𝐍𝐄'𝐒 𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐍𝐓 — ???
𝐃𝐀𝐘 ??? ➢ Moon x Gallahan Lombardi
NOTE ➢ Sorry this is so late!! For @acuriousmoon ! I didn't know what to nickname you as so I just placed Moon! Hope you don't mind. Gallahan may be OOC here, only because I've never exactly read the manhwa yet. Hope this works out though!
GALLAHAN LOMBARDI
Moon was never one to think she'd ever marry anyone that wasn't fictional or whatever sort. She thought them deemed unworthy or whatever. That was until the day she died and got reincarnated into a new life she barely had an idea of!
She got reincarnated to a fascinating manhwa world. True it was fascinating, but it is also positioned in a time where killing was common and fighting was deemed a sport! Not only that but it was also the time where marriages by contract are most common amongst all.
This is where her fate lay that faithful day when she awoke in this world. Poisoned she was, they say in this body. The woman who once controlled it had died. She was killed off and Moon's spirit just so happened to be looking for a body to adjust in. Thus she found herself in this body.
A name unknown to her was what she was called. Brushing it off, she realized that if she were to survive she must find an ally in this world or die in a murderous rampage made by some jealous noble. Considering her options she chose to find an ally which incidentally was easy as it was. For this body served as the body of a man's wife. Well... Future wife that is.
Gallahan Lombardi.... Why did that name sound so familiar? As if she spoke it many times before. It struck her as she realized where she had heard it from. Gallahan Lombardi was a man and a father of Florentia Lombardi, a beautiful youth of a girl who was the female lead of one of the most talked about manhwas. At least that's what Moon remembered it to be.
Gallahan was a loving father, caring too. Unlike some fathers she knew of in manhwas who neglected their children once they arrived and killed their wives. As far as she knew, he (Gallahan) cherished his daughter and would do anything for her. Including murder. Though that was in some rare cases, instead of murder he used a face of fury and annoyance to scare off anyone bothering to do anything to his beloved daughter.
So when she realized that she was a fiancé of such a man. She knew she'd be able to live once she won his heart. But, first she'd have to win the daughter's trust.
Florentia Lombardi seemed... cheerful the first time they met. She was polite and seemed interested with everything Moon tried talking about. It was as if she, the person who once took control over this body, had already managed to make her happy and trusting her almost fully.
It was good progress either way for the two spent so much together it seemed as if they've so much as kindled their spirits.
"Daddy talks about you a lot." Moon nearly dropped her fork at the conversation starter Florentia just put out. Talk about her? A lot? Which part of her was it?
"Really..." Moon tried to keep calm. Now was not the time to wonder and panic over such a thing. "Yep!" Florentia said, eyes practically sparkling at the topic of her father.
"I see.. mind me asking what he talks about?" "Mostly about how much he enjoys you and all that!" Florentia gave a giggle. "Looks like he has a crush."
Crush? How could a kid like her be able to... Nevermind. "Interesting. I guess that is the goal y'know. I didn't become his fiancé for nothing." Moon gave a smile as she finished the last of her cake.
Those were the days before the marriage. Now she stood in front of a lot of people. From Gallahan's relatives to people of the court. They stood to bear witness to this delightful remarriage by Gallahan and herself.
Now he removes the veil from her as the priest continues to the final few sentences. The questions were asked and answered with ‘I do’s as the couple happily kissed.
Gallahan pressed his lips onto hers, causing the witnesses to clap as she kissed him back.
She found herself in the arms of her now husband as he carried her out of the church. What a joyous day for the newlyweds! May their love be forever.
