The rosy-faced lovebird, also known as the rosy-collared or peach-faced lovebird, is a species of lovebird native to arid regions in southwestern Africa such as the Namib Desert. Loud and constant chirpers, these birds are very social animals and often congregate in small groups in the wild.
A small, short-tailed parrot with a soft pink face and dark eyes. Native to southwestern Africa, but feral populations occur in Arizona and in Hawaii; a common pet species, and escapees may occur anywhere. Wild birds are leaf green with brilliant blue rumps, but escaped domestic types may be mostly blue or yellow. Inhabits dry forests and river valleys; present in cities in both natural and introduced range. Call is a shrill, high whistle.

🎃 finding out that Draco owns a black cat, and that he has it in the Malfoy manor and her name is midnight
Girl, you already know I can’t write blurbs 😭 gotta write a whole-ass fic. ALSO, this is not proof-read.
-
“Draco, have you seen Midnight, anywhere?” Narcissa asked, interrupting your cuddle session in your boyfriend’s bedroom.
“No, Mother. Why, has she gone missing again?” Draco sat up, letting go of your waist which he had been holding tight to his body for half the day.
“I just haven’t seen her. Don’t worry, the house elves are looking for her. She’d never leave home.” Narcissa smiles respectfully, her eyes crinkling outwards. “I’ll leave you two lovebirds.” She laughs graciously, closing the door behind her.
“You have a pet?” You ask, trying to pull Draco back down from his sat up position to cuddle with him longer.
Draco frowns, noticing what you’re trying to do, and gets back to holding you, your head laid on his chest listening to the thump of his heartbeat.
“Sorry, love.” He whispered, kissing your crown. “She’s my cat. She was a gift from Tonks one Christmas.” He smiled gently, stroking your hair slowly.
“She’ll turn up, cats rarely ever run away.” You said, kissing the first thing your lips could touch, which was his neck.
Although Draco smiled, he couldn’t help but feel anxious. After you, that cat was his best friend.
You stayed together a bit longer before falling asleep in each other’s arms, your light snores being muffled by his bicep.
You awoke to repetitive wet movements on your feet which you crinkled your toes at, finding it ticklish. Slowly, you opened your eyes to see a yellow-eyed, black cat with a red collar around its neck, staring at you blankly.
“Dray, wake up!” You shook the blond sleeping next to you, pointing at the cat. “Look who I found- er, who found me!”
“Midnight!” Draco exclaimed, quickly shifting to the foot of the bed where the cat was perched. “I missed you.” He whispered, holding the feline’s body close to his head, his two fingers scratching under her neck as she stretched it out, smiling in content.
You smiled watching the two as Draco played with the cat, sweetly kissing its ears and rubbing its paws.
Suddenly, a pressing question had occurred to you. “Wait, how did she get in?”
Draco shrugged, continuing to lightly drum her belly with his fingers. “She’s always been a strange cat.”
