Alas, your dreams were crushed as you were slammed into the ground, your words cut off by a pained groan. Your eyes slammed shut at the moment of impact, but now they slowly opened up to be greeted with a downcast expression. “Y/N! I cannot believe I just heard what I did. You are literally insane if you think you can call my gorgeous baby ugly…”

“Natasha, I was,” you went to defend yourself, and your right to call yourself whatever you pleased, but then she cut your presumed excuse off with a rough kiss. “I guess I’m going to have to remind you,” she growled as her teeth bit into your lower lip and you moaned softly.

“THIS IS STILL THE VERY PUBLIC ROOF!” Yelena shrieked, “With an entire team of people on it!”

“We are used to this,” Tony nonchalantly mumbled over the croissant in his mouth. “They can have the space…”

The team practically raced off the roof, Steve used his shield to carry the loose snacks from the potluck, Thor carried an entire table, and Wanda’s wisps brought in the rest. Yelena stood there gobsmacked for a total of ten seconds before running off after them as the two of you showed no sign of actually stopping the insanity.

“So, what are you?” Natasha inquired with a quirked brow and a hidden smile. You gulped, then gave your best answer, the one unlikely to upset her “Yours?”

“Better,” she snorted, but then she was nothing but serious as she pressed her lips to your pulse. “But we both know there’s more to it, so try again detka.”

“I’m your pretty girl,” you conceded and she smiled deviously. “Mhm, now let me make sure it sticks…”

At first, she wouldn’t even recognize that it was you, until she saw you use your powers/fighting skills (whichever you prefer).

She was pretty shocked, to say the least.

1. You had grown 5 years

2. YOU HAD GROWN 5 YEARS!!!!

Everyone else looked pretty much the same, but you were the youngest Avenger

That was now around Wanda’s age, instead of younger

Once the shock wore off, the happiness set in.

Even though it didn’t feel like it to her, it had been 5 years, and she was very happy to see you again

Even if it was across the battlefield

You two first made contact when Wanda used her powers to save you from a member of Thanos’ army

She barely contained her laugh at seeing your gobsmacked face

Aside from being very grateful for her saving you, you were thrilled to see her again, because you had missed her a lot

Your arms were instantly around her, and Wanda flew you two into the air to get away from the danger

You clung tightly to her, missing her flying you around

The two of you fought together for the rest of the battle, reuniting with the other Avengers at the end

Wanda was happy to see everyone again, but was most happy to see you

YELENA BELOVA

Yelena was overwhelmed, to say the least

She had just been told that five years had passed and that her sister was dead

It was, as you can imagine, a lot to take in

After grieving for Natasha, you instantly popped into Yelena’s mind, as you were her younger sister

“Where is Y/N?! Is she—?”

Her friend’s grin calmed her down, and she said she would call Y/N

While waiting for you to arrive, Yelena’s mind was racing

It all seemed to be okay, the word stopped spinning, when you burst into the house and bounded straight into Yelena’s arms

“You’re alive! Oh my god,” was what you whispered, out of breath

Yelena held onto you tightly, content with staying like that forever. Her mind instantly went into protective sister mode.

“You had Natasha when you lost me, right?” Yelena asked, to which you said yes

“And now I have you when we lost Natasha,” you responded, tearing up

The two of you grieved and healed together and you updated Yelena on the five years of yours and Natasha’s lives that she missed

MARIA HILL

“Oh my fucking god,” was the first thing Maria said when she saw you

The two of you had been best friends, seeing as you were two of S.H.I.E.L.D.’s best agents, and before the Blip you had been a couple of years younger than Maria

You just laughed happily, blissfully relieved that your practical-sister was back. It was like a dream, except it was real.

“What have you been doing for the past 5 years?” Maria asked after you two hugged

“I went back and forth with helping Natasha with the Avengers team and helping Daisy with S.H.I.E.L.D.,” you said

Maria was in awe (a rare emotion for her) of all that you had accomplished

She pulled you into another tight hug and demanded to know everything about everyday of your life, sad that she had missed five years with you

PETER PARKER

Peter was very confused when he saw a teenager his age hugging the Avengers after the battle

“Who’s this? Where’s Y/N?” He asked

You barely refrained from laughing, answering with “I’m Y/N.”

His jaw practically dropped to the floor

“HOLY SHI—” “Language!” “That’s unnecessary, Steve! I’m Peter’s age.”

“No, no, that’s impossible. You’ll always be a kid to me,” he mumbled as he pulled you into a hug

“I’ve thought long and hard about it.”

“But you and Steve. You guys are always so strong together. Look I know things have not been easy since Natalie...” Yelena breathed in deeply.

“Did you guys try to work things out first? Counseling or go to couple’s therapy?” Yelena was just gobsmacked. Nat and Steve had always been so good together.

“Did he cheat on you? Is that what happened?”

“No. Nothing like that. We just drifted apart…”

Well he lied to me for almost two decades. Manipulated me into falling in love and marrying him. Making me into his good little housewife and traded my soul for our precious daughter’s…

Yelena sighed deeply. “Well Matt doesn’t really do divorce cases. He’s a criminal defense attorney but I’m sure there are other lawyers in his firm that specializes in Family Law.”

“Tasha, it’s good to see you.” Matt smiled and gave a peck on her cheek.

“This is my colleague Candace Nguyen, she’s a specialist in family law dealing with divorces.”

“Mrs Rogers, it’s good to meet you.”

Nat suddenly feels weird to be addressed by her married name. Natasha Rogers?

“Just call me Tasha will do.”

Strange to be in a meeting discussing the dissolution of your marriage with your ex boyfriend present. Matt still looked at her with tenderness.

“Look I’ll be frank Tasha, this isn’t going to be easy. Steve won’t just let you go.” Matt told her.

“It’s not about what he wants anymore. I’m done.” Nat said.

“What is going on Natasha?”

She looked up and saw her husband. He didn’t look pleased.

“Oh Fuck…” Nat muttered under her breath.

“What’s going on Nat?” Steve asked her again.

“What are you doing here? In a Law Firm? I told you we’ll talk about this. We’ll do more sessions with the therapist. We’ll get through this together.”

“Look if he does anything, I’ll call security.” Matt told her. “I can do so now.”

Nat only shook her head.

“I’m talking to my wife. Stay out of this Murdock.”

“You can’t intimidate me Steve. I’m not some clueless housewife who’s gonna be controlled by you.”

“Control? You think I want to control you? I love you Nat. All I ever want is to keep you safe.”

“The only reason you’re still here is because that woman—my woman wants you here; I’d have put you out the first moment you gave her attitude, ungrateful brat.,” your finger jabbed into Steve’s chest roughly for emphasis, but it didn’t do much more than to hurt your fragile hands.

“Actually, no, you can leave Rogers,” Natasha growled at the man who’d upset you, she pulled you into her embrace and continued to glare at the gobsmacked man while doing her best to comfort you.

“You’re choosing some slut of the week over me?,” the sound of skin hitting skin reverberated off the walls as Natasha’s hand made contact with the man’s cheek, “Y/N is my wife you fucking fool, and she means more to me than you ever will, so yes, leave so I can enjoy my special day.”

It was meant to be a joyous day, but an obviously jealous Steve was ruining it after seeing you were here with her; Natasha was turning 35 today, and she was finally ready to share you with her other family at the birthday bash Tony was throwing for her; you and the kids back home with Yelena being her first.

“I think I preferred only knowing Wanda,” you joked, and the redhead chuckled sadly as she ran her hand down your back soothingly, “Yeah, but I think you’ll like the rest of the team detka, and they’ll love you, Steve is clearly just stuck in the 50’s.”

“I can trap him in ice again if you want,” you teased, little flecks of white leaving your hand, and she moved to quickly cover it, “Detka, what part of secret powers do you not understand?,” the both of you shared a soft kiss after her heatless scowl faded, “However, if he so much as utters another word come Monday I’ll be cashing in on the offer doll face.”
