Ichika has trouble putitng things into words and understanding what others mean. This is partially why she's so kind and understanding, since she knows misunderstandings can appear easily and be pretty nasty

A lot of schools particularly private schools during the turn of the century and late 1800s had a small farm aspect to them if they had an estate/were more rural, and kids were usually in charge of them to some extent to help teach them responsibility, as well as to help provide food for the school like keeping a chicken coop so they could have eggs if you had a boarding school or breakfast was need to be served.

I can imagine professor Xavier having a few small bird coops as an aspect of his institute for gifted youngsters at the turn of the century to help kids with powers that make them feel unsafe to be around others. Having brief and careful interactions with animals can help build one's trust in oneself as well as feel better about one's abilities.

Ex: caring for chickens and collecting their eggs without breaking them. Can help a student with fairly volatile powers feel more in control and potentially less like a monster because they're keeping these animals safe and are able to handle fragile objects with ease.

The question is what do you think he would keep on the estate? I feel like it would have to be something he could keep in a coop or a hutch or perhaps a small pen. I don't think he'd have anything really large that would need a barn and could potentially be a safety hazard to the children if they tried to handle without expertise.

Personally I think you'd have a chicken coop and maybe a couple ducks and then just cuz they're fun to have around and it would make some kids smile, a peacock.

What do you guys think though? I would like to hear your opinions
