You know, I made a joke about how the 2017 Eeveelution Pokedolls re-release was gonna collapse the scalpers market for them on eBay because Pokémon Center was flooding the market with new ones, but apparently Sylveon and Umbreon sold out WITHIN A DAY.

… So yeah, the scalper issue is NOT resolved because now the new Eeveelution Pokédolls are gonna be scalped as well. :/

I wanted the 2017 Eeveelution Pokédolls since secondary school, but unfortunately US Pokémon Center didn't ship to the UK at the time, and by the time Pokémon Center UK was introduced in 2021, they were long discontinued and the only way you could get them was from eBay sellers massively overcharging them.

See this collection I have? The two big ones are from the 2025 re-release which I was fortunate enough to buy from Pokémon Center. Glaceon and Vaporeon aren't as popular as Umbreon and Sylveon so they haven't sold out yet.

But the rest of them? I could only get the tiny ones because they were the only ones that were a reasonable-ish price range on eBay. Had to settle for the tiny ones because the regular sized ones were anything from £60-£100

Leafeon, Umbreon and Flareon were especially cheap, I got them for £8- £12 which is probably close to their original retail price.

Sylveon and Espeon…? $31 fucking US dollars (which was £26 via exchange rates) and £24. And they were STILL cheaper compared to other scalpers.

Long story short, I'm waiting until next payday to get the Jolteon from Pokémon Center (assuming it doesn't sell out too!) and I can finally put this whole crap behind me. Fucking scalpers, man.
