would love to hear your thoughts on the team bullying/forgiving jamie in s2, in particular what you disliked about it. imo i think sam’s treatment was harsh but not at all undeserved, while others like colin and isaac were a bit twisted considering they fully participated in the prick-ish behaviour in s1. and the whole led tasso bit was entertaining to watch, but it really reveals how problematic ted’s hands-off approach to conflict can be. to the point where ted refuses to refer jamie (and later on isaac) to speak with sharon, and never fully acknowledge’s each player’s feelings.

There was a really good meta I saw on this topic the other day that i cannot for the life of me find in my tags to link here. But yeah, there are definitely things I disliked about it! For me it's less about the players than about the leadership & Ted. I actually think the players reactions/responses mostly make sense. It's a bit weird, like you said, that EVERYONE suddenly hates him when half the team was literally participating in and/or endorsing him in season 1 (remember that episode where the team is split into two factions and one of them is Jamie's? lol. Like it wasn't even just Isaac and Colin participating in the behavior, it was half the team). However I can see that their opinion of Jamie might have changed given distance and their own growth.

Also, we don't really see any instances of Jamie publicly bashing his old team apart from singling out Ted and Roy, but apparently at one point he was off calling Colin a jaundiced warm to his hometown newspaper, so yeah I can see why that might've left a lingering bad taste in his mouth. Also the boys have gotten used to Richmond without him at that point, and it HAS been a much better environment, so I think it'd be easy to overlook that they were actually sort of starting to like him at the bonfire the night before he went back to Manchester (which was ultimately only just one night), in favor of focusing on all the times he was made the locker room worse. Also, there's probably a bit of misplacing their hatred for their past selves onto Jamie because it's easier to shift that blame around a bit than accept their own culpability in the bullying. Just like it's easier to blame relegation on Jamie, because he's there to blame, then on their own shortcomings in the game. Is it a bit unfair to Jamie? Sure. But it's realistic and I don't mind it.

Actually the only one I'm a bit ??? about is Dani, because he was absolutely getting along with Jamie in Two Aces even despite Jamie's prickish exterior. Dani hadn't even been around long enough to be negatively impacted by Jamie's effect on the locker room culture so? what gives? I also don't see him bandwagoning on just because everyone else hates him (which does make sense when jan does it hahah). So it's very weird to me that he holds as much of a grudge as everyone else, lol.

The biggest issue for me is (once again. woop.) Ted. Because he didn't want to get rid of Jamie in the first place. He was in fact IRATE when Jamie was sent away, and got into his first real argument with Rebecca over it, that's how upset he was. So why is he soo hesitant, suddenly, to let Jamie come back? His whole speech to Jamie at the Crown & Anchor makes me uncomfortable, because the whole "You burned a lot of bridges" thing doesn't even add up to the real reason Jamie was sent away and totally dismisses the progress he had already started to make before leaving. It seems to reiterate that Jamie was sent away because he'd been Bad and Done Something Wrong. Sent away after he'd in fact had a significant breakthrough with the team. No wonder Jamie is confused. Ted is crossing all kinds of wires and it's ??? Not to mention that he tells Sam Jamie isn't coming back, then brings Jamie back seemingly without even pulling Sam aside and explaining to him circumstances have changed, Jamie is coming back, and why. It's one thing to have told Sam and then change your mind. It's another thing for Sam to tell you he's upset at you for withholding information, explain that's not the case, then go and do the thing you JUST assured Sam you wouldn't: not consult the team re: Jamie. Idk, the whole thing rubs me the wrong way.

Ted having a conversation with the team beforehand, explaining why Jamie is coming back, would've already gone a long way to help Jamie, instead of just springing him on them and throwing him to the wolves. Led Tasso was typical hands-off Ted problem solving, and it's a funny comedy show bit but not exactly an appropriate workplace solution, is it? I might not mind it so much if it wasn't the start of a pattern of behavior where Jamie needs help, asks for help, and then is like...ignored or gone around or "acknowledged" and not helped. it happens with his return to the team, it happens with Roy refusing to coach him, it happens with fucking Zava. And it's extremely annoying that the team leadership fails him specifically again and again. ugh.

Re: Sharon/therapy and referring the boys, that one is soooo mixed up in ted's own mental health stuff I'm willing to give it a pass. of course Ted's not to going to refer players to see her when he doesn't see what she does as helpful and doesn't respect therapy as a possible tool/solution.

Hahah I usually don't put my thoughts here as soon as they appear cos I don't want to make any statements in the heat of the moment since I know people on tumblr tend to grasp onto everything they read and take it as facts. BUT nevertheless here are my thoughts on Max pushing Charles off every time they start on the front row. This is gonna be a mess.

(I do not know how to write a short response)

I like everyone else was slightly surprised that Charles was so easy to forgive Max after he apologized in Vegas. I genuinely thought this time he would at least.. discuss it in a more heated manner (I'm thinking max and checo in Austria after the sprint). I wasn't sure about the state of their relationship after and I know it would not be austria 2019 but I did not expect charles to brush it off the way he did.

Thinking about it now after the race is over I kinda understand why he did brush it off. It did not affect his race that much, he was able to retake the lead, he was gunning for a win anyway, Max got the penalty, it was all fine. The safety car was the bigger issue so of course he's gonna focus on that instead of put his already new and fragile relationship with max in jeopardy over this.

That being said, I do not condone Max acting like this every time. It says something that when the race started before t1 even happened I was expecting Charles to be pushed. I think Max was genuinely scared in Austin but when Charles brushed that one off he is now more relaxed in trying riskier moves with Charles. And the thing is, Charles doesn't care now. He's car is shit, he rarely has a chance to win when Max does this so it's easy for Charles to say "it's okay this Max and Race Max are different, I want to maintain this friendship so I will forgive" now that he's p7 and essentially not fighting for anything in the championship.

But would Charles feel the same way if they were fighting for a championship? I don't think so. And it worries me because by that point they will be closer as friends probably and Max will try riskier moves and all of them will be brushed off by Charles but at one point I think it is bound to snap. And I'm scared that the more it goes on and the more times it happens its gonna be more serious on Charles' side. As in he's gonna be more hurt by it but also the strain in the relationship would be bigger.

I may be wrong and I may be reading them completely wrong. They may surprise me again and have a clean championship battle with no drama and there is nothing I would love more than that. And so far all I've been doing is praying for a championship battle and not thinking what that Entails but now that this has happened multiple times and now that Max has the impression that he can do what he wants on track as long as he says sorry and bats his eyelashes after, I think Max is not suddenly gonna start clean racing. He's gonna play even more dirty if they're fighting for a championship. I'm not saying Charles won't, I'm saying they both will but seeing this I do not think anymore that it's gonna be a clean battle. I'm still gonna enjoy and pray for it but with a hint of caution bc like I said what im seeing now (as cute as it is from a shipper perspective) worries me a little.

Hope this manages to paint a picture of my thoughts a little. Cos they're mostly just jumbled together pieces of "what if this happens what if that happens". But this is the general direction I'm going in. What if Max continues doing this when the stakes are higher and what if Charles doesn't take it as well as he is now when he is actually fighting for something? That's a lot of what ifs 😂 but yeah..

“Have you been to Disneyland before?”

She looks up from her phone when he asks, sunglasses low on her nose as she purses her lips, “Hm?”

Rooster’s caravans shone as the sun hit the lenses, one of his arms resting by the window as they wait in traffic, pointing forward, “Disneyland,gorgeous.” he smiles, “You’ve been there?”

“Oh yeah, not too often. You know, my parents could handle me and Leo maybe Mike? But,” she shrugs, “We often came here with other family members, but it was really fun.” she smiles at him, looking back to check on the kids. Nicole was the only one awake, holding her stuffed chicken toy - again, his friends were hahah so funny - with her big light eyes moving around.

The twins were sleeping so soundly Bea was jealous, “Anyway,” she cfontinues, “I asked Dr.Connelly again if it’s okay for them to come–”

“Didn’t we check with her yesterday,gorgeous? Didn’t she say it was fine?”

“Well yes,” she types down, “But you gotta make sure,Roos.”

Rooster nodded,smiling to himself as the traffic finally move forward "You're right, gotta make sure everything's in order. We want this trip to be perfect for them."

Beatrice smiled, nodding as she waits for the pediatrician’s response. "Exactly. I want it to be a magical experience for all of us, stress-free."

As traffic inched forward, Rooster glanced at Nicole in the back seat. "Nikki seems excited. She's been eyeing that stuffed chicken like it's the key to the Magic Kingdom."

Beatrice chuckled, casting a glance at Nicole who was now inspecting the stuffed chicken with a serious expression. "That chicken is her travel companion. It goes everywhere with her. I have no idea how she got so attached to it." and she gives him a side eye look, “Who knows why,right?”

He narrows his eyes playfully, “I don’t know what you mean.”

“Our daughter likes chicken themed stuff? Wow,” Bea giggles, “Can’t say I saw that coming.”

“Chickin!”

“Yes,baby girl it is a chicken.” he adds while looking through the rear view mirror, “So, since you’ve been there before can you,” a shrug, “Give me the basic rundown of what I’ll see first? I think I haven’t seen anything Disneyland related since the 90s.”

Beatrice smiled, eyes shining immediately, hands spreading. "Sure thing. Disneyland is divided into different lands, each with its own theme and attractions. The first land you'll probably see is Main Street, U.S.A. It's designed like a nostalgic American town from the early 20th century, you know, with shops, restaurants, and the iconic Sleeping Beauty Castle at the end."

Rooster nodded, his eyes gleaming with anticipation. "Sounds charming. What's next?"

"Well, from Main Street, you can branch out to different lands. There's Fantasyland, where you'll find classic attractions like 'It's a Small World,' 'Peter Pan's Flight,' and the 'Mad Tea Party' – you know, the spinning teacups. Perfect for Nikki."

"I can already picture Nikki insisting on spinning the teacups faster than anyone else."

Beatrice laughed, "Exactly. She'll probably challenge you to a teacup spinning competition."

Rooster smirked, tilting his head so he could see better "Bring it on. What's next after Fantasyland?"

"Well, there's Adventureland, where you'll find 'The Jungle Cruise' and 'Indiana Jones Adventure.' It's got a tropical jungle theme."

"Sounds like my kind of place. I'm ready for some jungle exploration."

“Yeah, you would.”

Both of them looked down at his Hawaiian shirt. And he snorted, “Hilarious, what else?”

"Then there's Frontierland, with a Wild West theme. You'll find 'Big Thunder Mountain Railroad,' a roller coaster. And oh! 'Splash Mountain,' a log flume ride with a drop at the end."

Rooster's eyes lit up at the mention of roller coasters. "I'm definitely trying those. What's after Frontierland?"

"New Orleans Square is next. It's got a Southern charm with cobblestone streets and a haunted mansion. The 'Haunted Mansion' ride is a must-see, especially if you like spooky stuff."

“That could be interesting. What's left?"

"Uuuuhhhh,well, there's Critter Country, which has the 'Winnie the Pooh' ride. And finally, there's Tomorrowland, a futuristic-themed land with attractions like 'Space Mountain' and 'Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters.' she grins, “And hmmm…let me think, there must be something else.”

“You got that all from memory?”

“Course not hon,I memorized everything remember?” she grins, tapping her phone, “So we’d know what to do.”

Rooster chuckled, "You're like our personal Disneyland encyclopedia. Impressive."

Beatrice grinned, tapping her phone screen. "Well, it's a big park with a lot to offer. I just want us to make the most of our time there, experience everything the kids might enjoy." she smiles more “And you. You look good by the way.”

He smirks, face still forward, “Do I?”

“Hard to look,bad,Roos.”

“Aw,keep going like that and I’ll have to take you on a date,gorgeous.”

Beatrice's laugh rang through the car, a warm and melodic. "A date at Disneyland? Now that sounds like a plan. We could even try one of those character dining experiences. Maybe have dinner with Mickey and Minnie?"

Rooster grinned, the image of sharing a meal with Disney characters sparking his amusement. "Sure, why not? I'd love to see kids’ reaction."

"I bet they’d love it."

As the traffic inched forward, Rooster stole a quick glance at Beatrice. Her enthusiasm was contagious, and the sparkle in her eyes mirrored the excitement building within him. "Gorgeous, this trip is going to be incredible. Thanks for making it happen."

Beatrice met his gaze, her eyes softening with affection. " I'm just making sure it's filled with magic for all of us."

The car finally reached the entrance to Disneyland, and the iconic Sleeping Beauty Castle came into view. Rooster couldn't help but marvel at the sight, the grandeur of the castle against the backdrop of a clear sky. "We made it.”

Beatrice grinned, her excitement bubbling over. "We sure did.Ready?."

Rooster chuckled, "Sure am."

Nikki's eyes widened at the sight of Cinderella's Castle, and she tugged on Rooster's hand. "Dada, big! Inside?"

Rooster chuckled, lifting her onto his shoulders. "Maybe later, sweetheart. Let's explore a bit first." he keeps her up on his shoulders and her tiny hands land on his cap as they walk forward, “There’s…a lot of people here.”

Bea pushes the stroller forward, the twins now awake, “Yeah. But it’s less than often. I think we’ll be okay.” she does grab his bicep as they move forward, to stay close at all times.” Where do you want to go first?”

Rooster scanned the parl, considering their options. "How about we start with Fantasyland? I’m…kinda overwhelmed right now,hah."

“That’s okay,Roos,we’ll start slow.”

Rooster and Beatrice navigated through the crowd, the twins in the stroller, and Nikki on Rooster's shoulders, her eyes darting from one magical sight to another.

Nikki pointed excitedly at the spinning teacups of the Mad Tea Party. "Dada!"

“Yeah,baby girl. I know, we can go there later.” his eyes looked around for a bit, lips pursed, “...you know, it feels…weird? A little?”

Beatrice nodded, understanding the mix of emotions Rooster was experiencing. "It's a lot to take in, especially for the first visit. But we'll take it one step at a time, alright?"

Rooster smiled appreciatively, squeezing her hand. "Yeah, one step at a time. “ the kids were having a blast at least, Nikki was just babbling so happy on his shoulders that he just couldn’t help smiling, “Do…they have anything to do with the sword and the stone?”

Beatrice thought for a moment, then nodded. "Yes, they do! The Sword in the Stone is right in front of King Arthur Carrousel. We can check it out."

“...really?”

“Yeah!”

Rooster’s lips parted and he just…looked like a little boy for a second, lips quirking, “Wow…wow uh…wow.” he was fidgeting a bit with excitement, “Can we…can we go there?”

Beatrice chuckled at Rooster's childlike enthusiasm. "Of course, we can. It's a classic Disney experience. Nikki, what do you think? Want to see if Daddy can pull the sword from the stone?"

Nikki clapped her hands "Yea!"

“I think daddy is worthy enough too,” Bea smiles, rubbing his arm and seeing how his cheeks heated up as he dropped his gaze, “We can go Roos. If you want to start there,we can go there.”

He looked so delighted by that idea, he looked so so happy. “It is your favorite movie, right Roos?”

Rooster grinned, his eyes lit up with a genuine excitement. "Yeah, it is. 'The Sword in the Stone' has always been a favorite. I mean, who wouldn't want to try pulling that sword out?" he pauses “My mom…and I watched it often.”

“Yeah?”

“And…Robin Hood.” he smiles, “Do they have stuff like that here? Robin Hood?”

"Oh, they definitely have nods to Robin Hood. We can explore the area around the castle, and I'm sure we'll find something related to the legend of Robin Hood. Maybe even a character meet-and-greet!"

Rooster's eyes sparkled with excitement. "That!...sounds amazing. Yeah,yeah, gorgeous."

The Bradshaw family made their way to Fantasyland, and Bea was so happy that all her loves looked like they were having a blast. As they approached the King Arthur Carrousel, Nikki's eyes widened with. Rooster carefully lifted her down from his shoulders, and she immediately ran towards the majestic spinning horses.

"Dada, horsies! Wide one?" Nikki's little hand was pointing forward while looking back.

Rooster grinned, glancing at Beatrice with his hands on his hips "What do you think, gorgeous? Ready for a carousel adventure?"

Beatrice nodded, her eyes twinkling with excitement. "Why don’t you two go first? I’ll stay with the twins first.”

‘You sure?”

“Yeah,” she grins, “You two have fun,yeah?”

Rooster smiled appreciatively at Beatrice, his shoulders relaxing"Thanks, gorgeous. We'll catch up with you right after."

“I’ll be right here,” she points to a bench, “Don’t worry.”

Nikki was practically bouncing on her toes, her eyes flickering between the carousel and her parents. "Come on, Dada! Horsies!"

Rooster chuckled, taking Nikki's hand. "Alright, let's go baby girl."

As Rooster and Nikki joined the line for the carousel, Beatrice found a comfortable spot nearby to park the stroller. The twins were wide-eyed, taking in the colorful surroundings. Beatrice glanced around, with Aurora being a loud babbling baby as she watched people go by.

She couldn't help but feel a warm sense of contentment, hand on her cheek as she watches. She just wanted him to have a good time, he’s been through so much and he deserves a break. The carousel music began to play, and Beatrice marveled at the joyous expressions on their faces, pulling out her phone to film them for a short while. Nikki was getting so tall, even for a one year old, she’s half his calf already.

She only watched with her eyes shining. This was going to be a good day.

Hell yeah I will answer all of them! 💪💪 Unless I already did, I think I got a few of these before

1. Do you daydream before you write, or go for it as soon as the idea strikes?

I did answer that here! But basically I daydream a LOT but sometimes that keeps me from finishing the fic because it's like "I already wrote it" in my head, and other times I will just go for it and finish the idea in one sitting but that really only works for one-shots (which is most of what I write anyway). The fic I posted yesterday I just wrote it as the idea came to me

11. Do you write scenes in order, or do you jump around?

I used to force myself to slog through writing everything in order, but it killed so many wip by making me bored of the idea because I wasn't writing the fun bits yet, so now I jump around haha. Which does sometimes create issues when I start bridging the bits together and have to tweak or completely cut stuff, but it overall keeps me writing more and helps my creativity flowing by quickly getting down the parts I want to and building around them

I'm proud of how my writing has improved over the years. Obviously any skill gets better the more you work it (I say as someone who typically gets distressed and will immediately drop something if I'm not instantly perfect at it 👍) but it's been really satisfying seeing my writing get good enough to be in a couple zines and having people enjoy what I've shared :) so thanks everyone who's ever been nice to my writing haha

For something that's almost done, it's a joke about a trope I never thought I'd write that got way too out of hand and sentimental instead of just quick dirty horny lol. Whoops ¯⁠\⁠_⁠(⁠ツ⁠)⁠_⁠/⁠¯

As far as planned out but not close to being done writing wise, it's a long fic for an obscure ot3 that died pre-canon and it's following the development of their relationships before exploding into their individual horrific deaths, and then maybe a sequel that follows a slightly canon divergent yet still canon compliant idea of what sets about the trainwreck leading to their deaths. Including me it'll maybe have 4 fans haha, but that's fine I love the concept and am having fun daydreaming about it. It's extremely self-indulgent to the point it's embarrassing

50. How would you describe your writing style?

1% evil (syntax) 99% hot gas (banter)

Hahah, but yeah I think I really thrive with conversation but I also really really enjoy working sentences until they bleed (aka I gave up) to convey as much info and emotion as I can without being too wordy, because outside of writing stories/fic/poems I'm an rambling mess that says "like" and "fuck" far too much haha! It's my only time to be concise ✌️

75. Is there a particular fic that readers gravitated towards that you didn't expect?

My first ever fic both that I wrote and posted. It blew up a lot more than I ever expected or hoped, and it still gets kudos regularly and comments occasionally, and is still by far my most popular fic haha

Unfortunately that causes me the tiniest 🤏 amount of psychic damage each time because while I'm thrilled people still enjoy it and that it's been read by so many people, it does not hold up to my current writing skills by any means. Oh boy it is rough around the edges haha

MOOOOOOMMMM!!! eeeee! so happy to have her here heehee ok so!! arthur and marian! as we both already know all too well arthur's got some issues but one thing he's really got down pat is that he loves his family v much and would do literally anything for them!!!! and marian is the stars in the sky as far as he's concerned!!! she deserves the whole world and he hates watching her miss out and honestly just wants to fix it for her!!!!! she just has to say 'i want--' and he's already out there tryna make it happen!!!

ok so im abt to crash so imma copy & paste some stuff from a [ comment i did recently to ciara ] bc i ended up talking a lot abt my hc's re: arthur and marian and, obv, this was all before you were talking abt taking her so obv this is all 100% just hc's and id be delighted to change any and everything around now that you're here, but i figured it might be a good jumping off point!! ok so:

DIATRIBE TIME: arthur def sees himself as the head of the ~marian branch~ of the varmont household if you will – the mini household within roderick’s household in a way…idk how to describe it hahah but he’s the eldest son in a profoundly patriarchal/primogeniture setting, and so they’re ~all his responsibility to look after, including his mother in a way since she’s a woman!!!

honestly idk if arthur can really even articulate how grateful he is to ciara for ~being there honestly!!! i think marian probs tries but ultimately its different like they’re both responsible for e/o and she’s not a varmont by birth and, even growing up as bart’s kid rather than roderick’s, ciara at least knows the burden of #growingupvarmont arthur, offhandedly: wow, i bet its nice to be bart’s kid me: *winks*

Ive wondered the same thing “What roles do they each (M&R) play at SuperMega?” because it honestly feels like Matt does most things. At least whats outwardly apparent. Maybe Ryan handles backend stuff more like finances and maintenance/tech stuff? Idk but even editing seems like it’s mostly Matt that is ever finishing up a video. Maybe that’s just because Ryan doesn’t talk or share about himself editing? But I agree that there’s got to be a path where they can run SM more efficient. I know they have trust issues but that shouldnt stop them from admitting they need another hand, they just make sure they are prepared for HR things that may pop up. It’s like we know they love doing this stuff but they run the business themselves and it ends up feeling half assed even though they care a lot simply because they need another hand, not even that many Id say get just one more helper. Even just getting back a producer like Jim who also helps with socials here and there would help a lot. Ryan seems very technical about stuff and I’m sure he does a lot we don’t know about as far as planning and editing goes but I do also wonder if Matt’s plate is heavier or if it just seems that way. I love them both so much and I’m sure they have meetings about this exact thing but when we don’t hear from them online for a week and matt’s on vacation it just becomes painfully obvious that there’s a whole part of SM that doesn’t get touched by Ryan. His disdain of social media might be a little irrational if he won’t even touch the channels instagram hahah

oh i am sure there are things ryan does that we don’t see but i still believe matt does the lion’s share of the work, and he does so happily because he loves supermega and he loves ryan. and trust me i really do get ryan’s hatred for social media but look man, if you wanna succeed on the platform you’ve chosen you have to play the game. he doesn’t need to have a personal account on anything but at least tweet from the main account once in a while. he says he reads every patreon comment but tbh i don’t believe that since it’s 100% matt who responds to all the comments. i’m almost positive the one tweet (wash your monkey monday does not count) that was made from the sm account while matt was in japan was also written by matt.

and don’t get me started on luke. i don’t even dislike luke but dude is coasting through life right now all because he was the only one who didn’t act like a fucking freak prior to the incident and stuck around during the fallout. yeah i’m a little bitter about justin jumping ship even if he is still tangentially involved with the channel. i’m glad he’s pursuing his own career even if i don’t personally vibe with his content. but losing him hurt them a lot. justin vs luke is like atom bomb vs coughing baby

Fanbook + Season 3 End update!

Firstly, thank you so much to everyone who helped contribute to the fanbook with their messages and fanart. It was safely delivered, and Hayeon-nim, the artist, absolutely loved it! She was speechless and didn't have much to say. We were able to collect 16 messages and 5 artists/fanarts from 10 different countries!

Being a webtoon artist is a very tough job in Korea (or anywhere really), but is especially cutthroat in Korea. Artists are always under pressure to work hard and deliver high-quality work, and oftentimes they rarely see any nice comments about their art, only the comments if their art is weird or off-model. Their main audience, is of course South Korean citizens. But what about international fans? We still exist and also love her work. So this project, aimed to spread happiness to Hayeon-nim is a success!! :) So, the interesting thing is, (that I have no basis for, but is a nice thought), is I think she was so moved by our encouragement, that she delayed posting Ch 117. I was informed she received the package on Wed 11/8, and that same day an announcement was posted on KKP that had three pieces of information: 1) Ch 117 would be released on 11/11 at 10pm with something extra for the readers to celebrate the season 3 end, 2) the 3-Damu event (can read a chapter for free every 3 hours, excluding the 10 most recent chapters) for the next 2 months and 3) Season 4 was greenlit. While I made a post about the season 4 confirmation, I didn't notice at the time there was a date change, because the way they announce releases is kinda weird. Like, YM is a "Saturday" series but it's released Friday night at 10pm, and has always been like that. Also I don't look at dates, because it's always been "Friday morning" in my time zone haha.

So on Friday, I check at the usual time and noticed there was no chapter release; no announcement on DAON Updates on twitter, and Hayeon-nim didn't make an announcement either. So going back to the announcement on 11/8 it said something interesting: <YM> will finish up season 3 with episode 117. Readers, please look forward to the end of Season 3, updated Nov 11 at 10pm. Interesting.

I thought it was interesting in the sense that while unexpected hiatuses/chapter delays are common and can happen anytime, the language is what was different. Usually it's written like "Sorry for the delay", "Sorry for the wrong upload." "Sorry for the delay of unavoidable issues". But here, they specifically said the delay was for "something special". HMMMM.

The series hasn't had any production delays, and one day usually won't address it? so probably not that. As I predicted, this chapter would be the Rupelali reunion and us meeting "black bread guy (Rupert)". I had no idea what the "something special" could be, because the long-awaited RupeLali hug would be in 118... in like 5+ months haha. So maybe a manhwa original Rupelali hug??? but where would that fit in?? no idea.

The next morning, yeah nothing unexpectedly special in the chapter. so I went back to sleep HAHAH, it's too early my time ok.

Then I'm woken up again by my buddies who saw the "bonus" - her thank you art for the fan gift! KYAAAA. The message says "Thank you! Wish us luck we’ll be back for the final season! <-- something likes this

*It's a picture of Rupelali on a date, with her holding a copy of the fanbook and grabbing his arm, is happy, and he's blushing and bashful* !!!

!!! This is so sweet of her?? She's super busy, ready for her well-deserved break and she had time to draw a bonus art for her fans instead of resting? T^T. She went out of her way, knowing that fans just suffered 3 months of a Rupelali drought, and an upcoming 5+ months of more drought, and gifted us with this wonderful bit of cuteness to tide us over until Season 4 returns? Unbelievable. So again,

GROWTH IN NATURE

Holy shit. The last few days have been insane. We drove 10 hours to get to Styrn in Norway. I had no idea that we could get this kind of scenery in our neighbouring country! Feels like Im in Lord of the rings, Vikings or Game of thrones or something.

I have done things these days I thought was almost impossible to do beacuse of my health anxiety. I realize how priviliged it is to worry about things like this when I have it as good as I do.

A month ago I had anxiety about traveling here (being far from a major hospital) but I did it.

I have had symptoms, but nowhere near as many as back home. I have climbed a mountain 2x times and ignored my intrusive thoughts about heart issues and having a heart attack doing it. Everything went fine, of course. I feel stronger and have so much more confidence than before. Im in a period of finding myself after 2 years of stress and pain. Finally, I feel like Im healing.

The day before yesterday we visited a glacier, packed with weird ass tourists. Kinda spoiled it for us. Some people are so moronic they think its okay to walk up to a strangers dog and start msking faces and petting it. Our puppy is only 9 months old and she has some sort of social issues (she has always been so scared of other people and dogs and are often on high alert around new people). Everything is going great when she just walks beside us and no one is interacting with her but some dumbass teenagers and kids and a retarded middle age man thought it was fun running up to here and making noises. Me and Carl Carl had to literally swat away peoples hands and Carl got into a verbal fight with a french family that was too persistent. So yeah, supercool glacier but the tourist just maked everything feel off.

Yesterday we did the big hike. 4 hours up the mountain. We went out around 12 and it was too hot to handle. The perks of being at a place where there is no one else is that you can kinda do whatever you want. Both me and Carl were more comfortable walking topless. I felt so free, like a prehistoric woman or something hahah. Felt really connected to nature and myself. When we reached a valley and sat down to take in the scenery I cried tears of joy over how beautiful it were and the otherwordly experience of not seeing another living soul for miles.

Today is a lazy day at the cabin, I did my morning pilates on the lawn, looking out over the mountain. (I have never felt so blessed) after breakfast me and Carl have been out on a walk (tried to fish in a pond but failed) and now we sit in the sun eating chips, Carl is drinking beer and Im gonna take some time for myself and write on one of my short stories.🌻

I have overslept. Again. It feels like a chore to go to sessions. I never wanted to feel that way about it. I think I’m done with his bullcrap… He always talks about how we don’t try enough and that we should do this this way, or do that that way! Prissy bitch! I shut him down, but for what? For him to make a ruckus once again! I worsen the situation by being overly impulsive and mad, my anger issues have become unbearable. Yoko makes it better but it really drags me down… I have to find my bandages…

Not under the table where I usually put them… Fuck. No, I have to focus… Maybe they’re on the bed… No… What the hell is going on…

Not in the bathroom, nor the dirty laundry, nor the kitchen or living room! Oh, no… How am I going to go to practice?

Though I’m mad at McCartney, that doesn’t mean I could just fuck over Ritch and Geo. But would it really make a difference if I came as Julia for once? I know we had some rehearsals as the Beatles where I was meself but I really dunno. That was so long ago… Yoko has disappeared off to somewhere. That is by itself quite unusual. Maybe we had an argument or something, I can’t remember… I remember what I did yesterday but some parts were unbelievable and hazy because of the drugs. “Do you have any sort of clearance, Miss? We cannot just let anyone in.”

“Don’t you “Miss” me!”, oh, god, I have used my John voice in front of about a dozen people.

“I ask you again, what is your reason to go inside? And I do not take “seeing the Beatles live” as a valid reason.”

Well, as you see, I am a Beatle. Yeah, you know, the one that is quite late and should be getting to her lads who are hard at work-who am I kidding, they’re panicking because I’m still not there. You know, John Lennon?

“I’m really sorry… But…”, should I try that or… Is there a backdoor? No, I don’t think so. Even if there was, it’s smarter to be clear with the guards.

Geo and Rings are tuning their instruments. They look tired. I’m happy they’re smiling. Weak smile from me to them.

“Wait a second, lads, where are the wives? And George Martin?”

“In the lunchroom! Hello, Julia!”, George, stop running towards me, you’ll trip on a cable.

FUH. The others were far away to hear this conversation. But they would be coming back.

Sigh. “Thank God, they aren’t here yet.”

I forgot what girl gossip was like- Wait, I can talk about my favourite topic. Are there any mags on the table? Yeahh! Great, let me just open it and ask the girlies.

I am already having fun. I never thought I’d miss mindless traditional girl topics and here I am. Ahhh, this feeling is so nostalgic.

“Julia, where do you get your dresses from?”, Maureen asked.

“Hm, it really depends. Some are from Liddypool and some are from here. This one for example is from boutiques. I think this one is from “Biba”. “

“You have to introduce me to all of them, I’m a fish out of water here… Tough being an American in England.”

“I think John will come in half an hour. He was writing something at the flat and forgot about the rehearsal. John is aloof like that.”, Linda is off by a long shot, but that is a possibility that could happen.

“I think John will come in an hour, because he doesn’t care for rehearsals and is purposely avoiding the rest of the band. Ringo is suffering so much because of his shenanigans.”, Maureen is half right too. I don’t care as much for rehearsals as I used to but I wouldn’t abandon my friends because of boredom.

“What’s your bet?”

“He won’t come… If they told him about me, he wouldn't come.”, why am I sad? Why would I be sad? Why are the girls sad? Pattie understands, those two are confused.

“John and I are sometimes close and sometimes distant. Mostly distant. It’s not even because of fame, it's because of our different paths in life and how much we don’t agree with our world view… I think the only thing that connects us now is music.”, good thinking, me!

“That doesn’t mean he won’t come to talk to you… Maybe he wants to work things out?”, Linda is quite an empath.

“You are right, Linda, I should hope for the best outcome.”, smile. The girls are smiling too. I should let them get back to some lighter topic. What is this conversation in the other room?

“John should’ve already come!”, that’s Yoko for sure.

“He still isn’t here. Your husband is making us wait a long time for rehearsal.”, Glynn was correct. But John couldn’t come.

“That man is-I can’t believe it! Maybe he sleeps too long but he would never do this!”

“Well, obviously he did it. Look at the band. They are tired and miserable, they wouldn’t want that on footage. The staff feels the same. I feel like I am wasting my time, and I do not want to feel that way when I am doing a project with the Beatles.”

“That’s not important. What’s important is that he isn’t home… God knows where he is.”

Lads are on the brink of rolling their eyes at Yoko and pointing to me.

“Look, he made you come here and waste your time, the band’s, his sister’s, the wives’ and ours.”

“Yes, I never knew he had a twin sister.”

“He never found her that important. I’ll sit and wait there then, then I’ll go back to the flat and check if he’s back.”

She isn’t in the same mood.

We are getting heated. About to have another scolding lesson from my wife.

We walked to the other room. Silly girls whispering: “I think she is best friends with John’s ex wife so she is surely going to discuss that with Yoko.” I miss Cynthia, she was the greatest. But John, John isn’t great for her anymore. John is a bad bad bad thing for women and only Yoko can handle him.

“Lennon, why are you here without one makeup, two bandages- And your glasses are John’s not Julia’s! For you it would only take one night of drinking to blow your cover!”, Yoko I know. A small pause.

“Sometimes you act like child.”

She chuckled.

The rest of the Beatles look unamused. I think they’ve been waiting to make progress but they are one member short and that member is just in the other room. Glynn lit up.

“He is not coming. He is feeling sick.”

“Well, he should recover and help us create a program for the concert!”, Paul, the greatest actor.

“Looks like Julia was right…”, Linda was saddened.

“Don’t worry, he’ll come to the next practice early I bet! Even though he is lazy he is responsible.”

“That isn’t a word I’d describe your brother with but alright.”, Maureen!

“That would mean that practice is over and the rest needs help packing.”, George Martin sighs. Don’t look over here, don’t look over here, don’t look- Well, too late. His eyes widened.

“Yes, you’re right.”, Glynn is packing. My plan is working. Glynn and the crew packed so fast and went so quick!

“Pattie, please go home, this wasted so much time!”, Geo has figured my plan out.

“You too, Maureen, it will be a long while till we pack.”

Linda is sad.

“Are you going to shoo me away too?”, did she ask Paul like that? I could never do that so softly like her…

“I don’t want to waste your time any further.”, Paul’s chuckles…

“I’ll be going too.”, Yoko…

So many byes have been exchanged. The staff goes away. So, George Martin, the lads and I are left.

“John, you absolute idiot.”, George Martin why?

“I forgot where my bandages were.”

“Julia… You git! Made us practice without you for so long!”

“You have to be at your guitar not with the birds!”, Geo was angry.

“If you are so excited for practice I’ll practice with you!”

The real practice began. We made some progress! A few more songs. Ahh, I know Hazza’s look.

“Paul, we should run through one Harrisong.”

“Which one, Jules?”

“Which one, Geo?”

“Um, “I Me Mine.””

“Alright, boys, let’s do “I Me Mine” and finish with “Don’t Let Me Down”.”

“How fitting Julia, since you decided to come and be active in practice.”, gah! I can’t say Paul isn’t right.

We sounded great! Geo was very happy he got permission to do the song. For “Don’t Let Me Down” it still needs work. I scramble the text a million times, and Paul’s harmony is just too much! Ritch is great on both of the songs. Hazza is great on mine but on his song, his guitar playing seems to falter when he sings. Macca is perfect at playing but his constant nagging can be noticed even in the songs. Gotta cut back.

“Got that on tape?”

“It’s not tape-worthy!”

“Paul. Stop being overbearing to everyone here!”

His eyes literally want to set me on fire.

“Lennon, it’s necessary to get the best results!”

“Well, McCartney, as Monroe said, nobody's perfect! So, we got to keep most of the takes! You never know…”

Oh, softened. Geo and Ritchie are sad. God, let’s just go home.

“Let’s get packing then boys-”

Finally, I’m free. But I missed those long big hugs. So, let’s put the guitar in place, done! Purse… Still at the women’s part. Taken! Put on the jacket…

“Anyone need any help?”, this is the last thing I need to do.

“Yeah, no need, I’m all set.”, Rings too.

“No.”, Geo looks like he can’t get his things together but alright. But, he finished as fast as Paulie.

“George Martin, I promise I will check my costume parts before going to bed so as to not arrive as Julia again when we are filming, which I also forgot.”

Martin chuckled.

“I can count on that, Lennon.”

“Yeah. Lads, I’ll see ya tomorrow then, I should be calling a taxi now-”

“No, Julia, I’ll drive ya.”, of course.

“Well, Macca is drivin’ ya then. See ya two later.”, Geo, do not support him.

“And did I accept?”

“What’s the harm there, Jules? See ya.”, Ritch winked.

“I’ll be seeing you, The Beatles.”, Martin left, closing the studio.

Leaving me and prissy pants alone.

His car is close. He is quiet… Passenger seat! He has the key of his car but he isn’t starting the car yet.

Oh, oh! A kiss on the- I haven’t kissed him in so- Wait! Another one. And another one. And a couple more.

“I’m heading now.”

“I adore you, Paul McCartney, I adore you. Remember that. Any bit of rivalry as John is because I want to be like you so organized, experimental and polite. Though, I don’t like leaning into it as much as you do! Bye.”

He drove away. Couldn’t hear the last part. But I guess he wants to say he loves me the most. Funny… What a nice day. Yoko is asleep. Get ready for sleep. Get in the bed. Close your eyes.
