Really really funny to me when people try to defend their thesis of mabel being a bad person by saying 'gideon was also a kid, why aren't you defending him??' And then you rewatch the show and gideon is a comic relief antagonist archetype of a misogynist acting as a nice-guy to emotionally manipulate and kidnap the girl he wants to date and mabel accidentally broke a jar
