Remember when people were like 'omg it's a good thing for Nathan Chen that sports is gender segregated, because if Sasha Trusova could compete against him it would be over for him.'

She couldn't even win any major senior women's events, and they thought she'd beat Nathan Chen???

#look even if you think nathan's skating skills aren't good #which is objectively incorrect #on jumps alone where would you get that #yeah she does attempt a five quad fs #but she succeeded once with several wonky landings and no 3a #and also... with drugs #figure skating #anyway i miss nathan #i love yuma and kao and a few other currently competing men a LOT #but my focus is back on ladies #with the russian girlies out for the moment i can actually enjoy the discipline again #it's always been my favorite so that's nice #going to skam next season and will FINALLY get to see wakaba skate in person
