Physically, I'm not doing well at all. My job is constantly on skeleton crew mode and they love to fucking overwork me in particular. I work at a deli in a well known chain of stores and its a retail / fast food environment and its fucking hell. Can't leave it cause its the highest paying job within walking distance and I dont have a car. My shoulders in particular hurt a shit ton, my arms ache and my hands are shaking from the caffeine still in my system. Mentally not doing too well either but that's just my default.

I do have OCs! Currently only have one for BTD and her name is Helena. Still deciding on a last name for her, cant exactly decide between Kalypso, Trinidad, or Gumamela (leaning more onto Trinidad tho). I made her to excuse my selfshipping tendencies for Lawrence (i just got a thing for sad blonds) and she evolved from there. I liked Lawrence's lore and the concept of the River, and Helena evolved to explore a 'what if' that Gatobob answered.

Can't remember it exactly but essentially if Lawrence gets too attached to someone and kills them on accident, he would poison himself and try to prevent their soul from passing and forcefully revive them, effectively making them "immortal" and an "unnatural being" like him. That and they're a lot more influenced by him bc he has their thread or some shit like that lol (kinda like the moirai! hence the heavy greek refs)

If Lawrence represents Decay, then I want Helena represents Growth. I want their eventual relationship to be really toxic and horrible, initially on his side (which yeah no shit, with the stalking and kidnapping thing), and eventually with her being just as bad, if not worse; A relapse of bad behavior on her end. I also want to throw a reference to like the ouroboros but idk if the relationship kinda works as that.

I also remember that Gato has described Lawrence to be a nihilist and I wanted Helena to represent the other side of nihilism (think of that nothing in life matters meme), but with her struggling with it. A memey way of describing it would be like she strives to have a "fuck it we ball" energy when she is in fact, not ballin at all

I also remember that the River can turn "you into a monster" if you constantly deny your death, which is evident in Lawrence becoming the Lich in TPOF, so I want Helena to become a Nymph for Wisteria trees (due to their symbolism! and cause they pretty :D) and for her to look like a Darkwood character once in that form. It works well with the river motif that I wanted these two to have.

That's all I got cooked up for Helena writing-wise atm! I'm still conflicted on how she should look bc she's a self-insert to OC so she looks like me but not; more or less an idealized vers of me. I'm really sorry for the infodump I'm just really happy someone asked :] If it isn't obvious, I really love using symbolism or at least heavy referencing for my OCs. If no idea in the world is truly original anymore, I might as well honor the original and have my own take on it.

I also have 3 OCs outside of BTD! Their names are Danikka Jun "DJ" Milao, Delores Lena and Polaris Helest! These 3 are mainly based off the Ego, the Id, and the Superego (in that order) of myself, at least to the extent that I understand and are influenced by the classes and subjects I took back when I was still in school. Their inception happened bc I would doodle characters to get through my classes and they were the few that I bother giving a name to :)

-I personally love the trans headcanon. But also...biromantic asexual. And polyamorous. How many pride flags can I fit on one man?

-Polyamorous because I realized that he’s one of the few characters I really and truly love to multiship - my “OTP” for him is Giovanni x me x Crusher x Spike x Car Crash x Flamethrower x Darkstar x Ben

-He canonically has posters in his room of Jason Voorhees and Sailor Moon (or the EE equivalents thereof - I think that Sailor Moon might actually be a Phoenica), so it’s outright text that he likes slasher films and magical girl anime both

-Like...he finds the methods of most slashers disturbing but he loves to watch a good old-fashioned gorefest

-Though he’s really pretty lax when it comes to preferred fiction. If Molly wants to do a Disney movie night (because I bribed her with $50 to suggest it), then by God, Giovanni is going to GET INTO IT

-Plays a lot of video games as well

-This is incredibly specific, but I’m playing Tales of Berseria right now and I like to imagine him playing it with me and the one thing I know is that he very definitely has a crush on Rokurou Rangetsu that he’s only about 50% willing to admit

-Likes to experiment with cooking of all sorts because it slowly increases his Epithet proficiency (and also it’s fun)

-Loves to wear skirts! Just doesn’t think they should be gendered, because pants aren’t, so why are skirts? He never  wants to fully present female, just wear swishy skirts that spin when he twirls because they are fun.

-Doesn’t do his fucking laundry. It’s all over the house at any given moment. This is the source of 40% of his fights with his mom.

-You know how I said he will give you a minion name immediately if you’re his friend? Well, if you get on his BAD side, you get an insulting nickname that sticks with you unless you make it up to him (e.g. “Stupidhead” or “Idiotface” but he thrives best if he can make one based on your name - like, he wouldn’t insult you, but if he were to insult you, you’d be “April-Showers-Half-Baked-Brownies”)

-Is not good at dancing but loves to dance nonetheless

-You know those lists that correct commonly-misused idioms to the correct phrase? Like how if you’re saying “for all intensive purposes,” the right one is “for all intents and purposes”? When I think of how he talks, I have to look at one of those backwards. He’s the kind of guy who will pledge his loyalty by saying “I am at your beckon call!” no matter how many times you correct him.

-Oh, and remember how I said he likes gore-fest horror films? That’s all fine and good, when it’s your standard murder and blood and guts. But if he decides to test his fortitude by reading CreepyPastas that get a little more creative and reality-warping with their horror, he is getting no sleep that night.

-Has never actually killed a person, but if someone were threatening a person he loves, he would not hesitate. (Though I wouldn’t be surprised if this issue comes up in canon, so it’s subject to change, of course)

okay but i might have a crush on a character from a sitcom and idk how to feel abt this haha

i mean im just living my best life enjoying my new problematic fave, but i'm kind of nervous to post abt the character? the show gets brought up and referenced sometimes still and it feels weird watching the show through selfship lenses. ofc im still very much going to think my f/o thoughts, but it feels weird sharing anything abt this character? like, it's not that thing where like, in him/ym (does the '/' do anything here even or?) i think a resonable chunk of people can be like yeah i get it, character A is gf material u r right. but here, this show has only memes and some jokes with references to the source. no ffs on tumblr or even wattpad my beloved. it's like, it doesn't have a fandom, ur regular people r the main interest group. at least that's what it looks like from the outside. i'm sure there r people who care abt those 4 guys a little more than a normal amount like me /lh. idk if i end up posting abt the character just don't judge me too hard lol

What kind of blog does your f/o have?

A general self-ship blog! It's largely focused on the game and pictures of the MC- me!- but he also ship-posts a LOT in reference to his self-ship. Like... As far as "balance" goes, the blog is probably structured about...70% game posts (with majority being his own screenshots), 30% his self-ship content (commissioned art, fanfic [his and comm'd], etc.)

Do they selfship on main?

Yes and no. His main blog has largely been abandoned after he started self-shipping. Said sideblog used to also be a "gaming" sideblog, before he got neck-deep in the game and decided to just give in.

So the blog isn't a main blog, but it might as well be, since it gets more love than most of his accounts. (His Twitter is second-most used. He still retweets pics from the game or fanart, tho.)

Do they look like a regular fan?

More or less, yeah! He still dresses as he did in his OG canon (so very punk, wears his full, electronic mask OR a "face mask" that's all deco'd up), but when lazing around at home or going to a convention, he'll start wearing merch. Maybe on bad/need-comfort days, too.

Otherwise, you'd be hard-pressed to know the shit-talking punk at the local gig is a huge self-ship nerd in love with a video game character.

Quiet reblogs or lots of gushing?

SO much gushing. It's why he made the blog! His friends were sick of him filling up the group chat with his gush-posts, so he understood...and made a blog about it, instead. (Marcus follows it and cheers him on; it was sorta his "fault" that this happened, anyways.)

He's shy to gush on other people's posts/art/etc., so you'll see him get quieter there...but it's very not uncommon for him to make a post after the reblog and gush there, instead. So he doesn't embarrass himself with far more public gushing.

Lots of analyses of your character and your source or incoherent blabbering?

Both! Incoherent blabbering is what most people get after the content runs dry or he doesn't have energy/time that day to get more content... Though he uses his rudimentary people skills (of which he admits to having little) to analyze the game and my character.

...He's also the Fandom Troublemaker as he sometimes posts hot takes in the tags. Largely that he fully believes none of my romance interests are good enough for me and I deserve better, etc. etc. He's a little shit and doesn't pretend otherwise, but there are DEFINITELY people in the fandom who are sick of hearing him, LMAO. (Those who don't have him blocked at this point try to troll... Only to typically get hacked. Bigger "crimes" get worse off, too; Wrench and Co. don't hold back. He's a nuisance, but he's THEIR nuisance and they'll help him shoot back when someone gets really bad.)

Do they have a headcanon blog?

He's considered it, but ended up just following HC blogs, instead. He's admittedly pretty jealous and very picky on what ships he likes (which are few and far between, especially in-canon), so... He'd rather separate himself from that side of things.

Do they try to roleplay as you?

Also no! 😂 Again with the jealousy/clingy thing... However, he does do F/O Takeovers! He loves those and getting to write out his ideas of how I act, how our relationship is, etc.

(He is definitely the type to icon collect, tho. Another reason why he loves Takeovers! Finally, his screenshotting and editing skills are put to use...!)
