So how did someone like Elsabeth end up in his majesty’s army? A small, easily nervous, but childish and gentle young woman, with no other military background. Someone who doesn’t match the description of a soldier.

A simple answer; her mother, Agatha.

Originally Elsabeth was from a simple working class family, headed by Agatha after the sudden death of her husband during their child’s infancy. They were a close pair, as daughter admired mother and mother spoiled daughter. She was everything Elsabeth thrived to be; kind, intelligent, brave, and surprisingly elegant. The woman even had a good sense of humor, which her child seemed to inherit.

However, in the midst of the quincy genocide, her mother was one of those made victim.

Of course this struck Elsabeth hard. She built a careful wall around herself, isolating her emotions as much as possible. She forgo any idea on marriage or having her own family, fearful of abandoning her own child someday. However, becoming useless wasn’t something she wanted either. So, abandoning her homeland, she turned to Yhwach’s ever growing army.

It’s not a place where she finds peace or where she feels at home. Not that it’s meant to be. She actually hates it; the hierarchy of it, the grueling hours of training, the isolation from her comrades.

More importantly, she hates the very idea of the war.

But it’s really the only place she has to have any potential in the world.

Oooo you like Frozen? How come?

because i've seen it and its good. elsa is disney's best main character possibly ever. the competition isn't stiff, mind you, but i like jenny nicholson's description of elsa as someone both immensely powerful and full of angst - aka woobie destroyer of worlds- and i think she's right that's why kids connect with her in particular. you want to be powerful, you want to have agency, but you also want your own torment and angst to be acknowledged in the narrative. its much better than being rapunzel or moana, who are just blandly "nice" most of the time.

a lot of the criticisms i see of frozen are very... technical? like. oh look in this scene, her hair clips through. or ohh look how similar elsa and anna's faces look. and its like, yeah those are technical or animation issues, but they don't really disturb the narrative for me. they're certainly not as intrusive as like, racist charicatures in early disney, or how no disney protagonist gets to really have flaws other than being clumsy. elsa isn't super flawed, she's more of a "woobie who blames herself" but she has moments where she contemplates doing bad things (like killing the soldiers) or sends her snowmen to chase away anna and kristoff, so its at least something.

its probably also just because i'm somewhat contrarian. watching animation snobs constantly cinemasins "ding!" frozen in particular was like... half of this is a reach, and the other half is stuff thats just in every disney movie. there's always inciting incidents and leaps in logic, but apparently thats only a problem for people when "let it go" comes on the radio for the 500th time.

Yeah, I totally agree with you that Penny isn't finished yet. CRWBY has clowned on us before, ESPECIALLY when it came to Penny dying, so, yeah, they're probably clowning on us now, too. Plus, the whole "I'll be a part of you" is VEERRYY implicational.... My theory is that Penny will be sharing a body with Winter. Thoughts?

but here we are

the short and quick answer to your question is no, I don’t think Winter and Penny are going to share a body as a permanent solution (not least of which because Ruby’s not tall enough to hug a Winter-shaped Penny properly). the thing that always made me skeptical of the Pyre theory in general (which this would just be the adorable sister megazord version of) is that that sort of... has the worst of both worlds when it comes to giving the characters agency, which isn’t the game this show seems to play. we see that with Oscar and Ozpin-- there’s no such thing as sharing easily, even when two people are technically the SAME person. plus, more generally: we’ve seen this already with The Messrs Oz, so doing it again would be a little redundant. to make Winter and Penny share the same vessel as our endgame... that means we get only half of each, when I think CRWBY has much too much to say about both of them for that.

but as a temporary bridge between what is and what will be?

I’ve seen a lot of theories about what character from classic lit Winter is supposed to be (Elsa! the Narnia Witch!) but I’ve always taken her to be the Winter Soldier. not Bucky Barnes, but THE winter soldier. as in “these are the times that try men's souls. The summer soldier and the sunshine patriot will, in this crisis, shrink from the service of their country; but he that stands by it now, deserves the love and thanks of man and woman.” 

(“I’ve never wavered in fighting the enemies of this kingdom,” she said)

in the winter, soldier on.

Winter is fundamentally all about duty-- about what it means to be responsible for other people. she’s spent her whole life subsuming her personality into service and denying herself the luxury of choice (“my life doesn’t matter,” she said; “my personal feelings don’t matter,” she said) because that’s what she takes duty to MEAN-- being an instrument of a higher good. and who is she to say what that is? how could she possibly trust her own judgment on what that’s supposed to mean?

she accepted Penny’s powers for the same reason Jaune agreed to kill her-- they both trust Penny’s judgment, Penny’s morality, Penny’s vision of what it takes to do right, over their own

and now Penny’s “a part of her.” in that vague metaphorical way family is always a part of you, but also a very literal way.

and I think Winter’s going to be an amazing Maiden. and I think she’s going to give it up the second she has a chance to, and give it back to Penny. I think that the part of Penny that makes her HER is still in there, which is how 3.0 can still happen, as you said. 

and also, separately, I think we’re going to see a new and different side to Winter up until then. I think she’s going to be decisive, and fierce, and inspiring, and incredible. and it’s all going to be because there’s a little voice in her head telling her what to do, what the right thing is

and SHE’s going to think that voice is Penny, because that’s what it sounds like to her. the maiden in her head acting as ethics training wheels; the cricket on her shoulder.

but even when she and Penny become separate entities again, that voice is going to remain. 

because it was Winter all along.

In the afternoon, all the soldier wolves are preparing for training

Soldier wolf#4: well, here we go-

Rasha came, and she asked

Rasha: why are you all here?

Soldier wolves: ????

Female soldier wolf#33: It's time for our afternoon training, we all do that daily, that's what you said in the beginning.

Rasha: Aren't y'all supposed to be at home?

All the soldiers are confused

Soldier wolf#2: you sure, you're ok?

Rasha:..*looks at him*.... Yeah I'm fine, you guys should go home. We'll do that afternoon training Tomorrow.

Soldier wolves: ????...

Rasha: anyway, Elsa..come, I want to talk to you

Elsa: *confused* ???... O-Ok..*Walks away with her*...

At the middle of the Forest

Elsa: did I do something wrong?..

Rasha: huh? No. You didn't. Absolutely nothing. But anyway..*holding a orange paint*..

Elsa: Uh-... Rasha, isn't that a leader paint?

Rasha: You mean when the former leader paints you on your arm, and it's known that you're the new leader?, Yes.

Elsa: so what-

Rasha: What I'm trying to say is that.. You're gonna be the new leader.

Elsa: !?!

M-Me? Why- ugh, w-why me????

Rasha: Why? Don't you want to be the leader? For a couple of months?

Elsa: well uh... yeah I do want to be one, but-

Rasha: There.

Elsa: but Rasha, why?

Rasha: You deserve to be a leader for a couple of months. So I'm just gonna wipe my stripes off of my arm.

Rasha wipes her mark off, Elsa was shocked..

Rasha: oh! And Elsa, *whispers to her ears*

Elsa: !!!... M-ma'am-

Rasha: but I'll be fine. For now I just need to rest.

Elsa:....Are you going to kill yourself?

Rasha: what? No. Why would I do that? No. I'm not going to kill myself, I'm going to rest.

Elsa: w-when will you come back..?

Rasha: *shrugs* I don't know. I don't know when. Probably, Next year, or-

Elsa: Rasha!

Rasha: okay, okay~! Sorry. Geez. Anyway *waves her hand* Bye! And if anyone ask you where I am, DON'T TELL THEM! Okay?

Starting a new series. It’s called Pretty Girl

"Let go of me Tin man." Athena said with a growl. But all it did was make Tony's grip tighter on her arm. "Don't worry Elsa, the team will love you."

Athena huffed and continued walking. S.H.E.I.L.D tracked her down after she escaped Hydras facilities. Making her have to stay in the Avengers compound until further notice. Lost in her thoughts about how the fuck she even got into this situation, she was quickly pulled out of them when Tony suddenly stops.

He turns to her with a annoyed look on his face. "At least try to be polite Snow Globe." She just stared at him in response. "Silent treatment huh?" She just smirked at him back. "Cmon, let's go meet the Avengers."

Tony opened the door where they were met with the sudden turn of heads and many eyes on them. Great. She thought. This is gonna be so much fun. Tony pushed her a little further out, gesturing for her to introduce herself. Athena did a quick scan of everyone until her eyes landed on him. Soldat. Sargent Fucking Barnes. Oh how she hated his guts. Treated her like shit. Pushed her to her limits every day. No breaks. "Get up soldier. Stop pussyfooting." He would always say to her. But in a way, it wasn't entirely his fault since he was all brainwashed and shit. But she needed someone to blame and right now it was him.

She sent him a glare before taking a seat. "Tony, if she is a recruit, why is she in handcuffs and why is there a collar around her Neck?"

"Well she isn't being the most cooperative at the moment Steve. The collar is her limiter." Tony holds up a remote. "I can control how much of her power she can use with this remote." Athena looked down in her lap. If only he knew Hydra had the same device on her. Wanda was sitting at the table next to steve. Even with her collar on, she was still very much powerful. Tony not realising that she could easily overpower them with the limiter on. But he had a shocking device in it, therfore making her not try anything on them.

Steve stood up and walked over to her. He held his hand out, "Steve Rogers." She looked down at his hand for a moment and than looked back at him, not moving. Steve awkwardly withdrawed his hand and looked at Tony. "Can she understand me?"

Tony just smirked. "Yeah she can understand you fine. She's just being difficult at the moment and giving everyone the silent treatment."

Athena smirked and crossed her legs, eyeing everyone at the table, trying to get a better read on them. Bucky's eyes were glued to Athena. Athena caught on and stared at him back. Times when they were in hydra, and they didn't give Bucky orders. He was nice to her. Kind of in a comftoring way. He would tell her what they did to him. He would talk to her when he would sometimes get snit bits of his memory back. "You have a staring problem." Athena said to bucky. But not out loud. But through their thoughts. Bucky jumped at the sudden sound of her voice. But he was so consitrated on her he did not see her lips move. He got weird looks from the others, but Tony just carried on with his talking. The two not really paying attention at all to what he was saying.

"I forgot you could do that." Bucky thought. Athena just smirked and looked away. "Been a while since I seen you. The last time I saw you was, well you know. When you left me." Athena said giving him a dirty look. Tony started to catch on to these glances. "Ok what are you two doing?" Bucky's head imitally snapped to Tony, Athena not looking away from Bucky. " All eyes are Athena now. "Ok I think it's time to take Elsa up to her room." Tony gave a look to her, motining her to stand up, which she complied. "Steve, take her up. She is sleeping on you and Bucky's floor since there are no other spare rooms." Athena rolled her eyes. "Why do you keep calling her Elsa?" Bucky said. Athena looked at him, than at Tony. "White hair, blue eyes. She's like a living version of Elsa. Well I guess without the ice powers. Well honestly I don't really know. Maybe she does have ice powers. She hasn't really flaunted them since we captured her." Athena gave him a dirty look and than turned to Steve and Bucky. Ready to get away from Tony.

Steve grabbed Athena's arm. "Let's go." He said softly. Bucky followed quickly behind them. They headed inside the elevator and Steve pressed a button. They stood there. Waiting. Steve felt sort of akward. Like he needed to say something. "Tony can be hard on people sometimes. But I think you'll fit right in." Athena just looked straight ahead. Ignoring what he said. Like she didn't even hear it. "You really don't like to talk, do you?" Still nothing coming from her. He was interupted by the faint ding of the elevator, and the doors opening. "Come on, I'll show you to your room."

Once they got there she looked around. The first thing her eyes layed on was the bed. An actual fucking bed. She hasn't slept on one in years. "Well I will leave you to it." She looked at him and raised her hands. Motioning to her cuffs. Steve sighed. "I'm not supposed to take them off. Fury's orders." She looked at him with anger, but easily hid it and turned around and sat on the bed. Once she heard the door shut she let out a sigh. "What a wonderful reuin." Bucky stepped forward. "Can we please talk Athena. I need to explain." She scoffed. "What is there to explain Buck. You left." She looked down at her feet. "You didn't even say goodbye." Bucky walked over and sat down on the bed next to her.

"I've g-gone Crazy~!!!

Galaxy was drinking some juice and felt upset about something.

Galaxy: *Growls*... Stupid bullies. Hmph, well it's Halloween soon, better get some *smirks* pranks~ *laughs*

Galaxy was planning some pranks on her friends. She didn't seem to use the old funny pranks...yet she used pranks that go too far..

Galaxy: com'on, com'on think! What prank should I do? It should be more.. Extreme~!! More than last year's pranks.

Galaxy then plans for it.

11 hrs later, at night.

Bot: *Exhausted* man. Halloween ain't alright at All.

Zach: Yeah, but it's fun~!!!

Until Someone slowly opens the door.

Bot: hm?....uh.. Galaxy?

Galaxy: *eyes twitches like crazy* H-hey~

But Galaxy's eyes are red, while she's holding a remote

Bot: Uh-... Galaxy, you're okay?

Galaxy: Better than ever~

Zach and Bot stepped away from her.

Galaxy: *laughs* Me like it~!!! *Press the remote and then..the traps start to scar Bot and Zach* Ha!!!

Bot was hissing aggressively and Zach was injured.

Galaxy ran away.

Galaxy went to Freezia's house

Freezia: *humming sweetly* *reading a book*...huh?

She can hear a sound of a Galaxy coloured Troll

Galaxy: H-hi Freezia~ I see you're reading a book~ *sees a scissor*...hey, do you mind if I use this~?

Freezia: yeah, sure, what for?...uh

Galaxy didn't answer, but she was getting closer to Freezia, it was like she was out of control. She then stabbed Freezia on the eye.

Galaxy: *stabbing her eye* *laughing like a pyscho* ...hehe~ that was fun~ so much fun~!! Oh! Better get the last person~ *runs away*

As Galaxy runs away, Freezia was on the floor crying and screaming for help. Luckily, Snowflake and Bellus saw Freezia bleeding in her eyes, even a scissor is stuck on one of her eyes.

Snowflake: Freezia!!

Bellus: Freezia!!

Snowflake calls the ambulance.

Meanwhile Galaxy went to the soldier wolves territory.

Galaxy: *sneak inside the Cave* *laughs a bit* where is she~?

Rasha wasn't asleep, she was at the river, laying down. While Elsa in the cave is sleeping with Scarlett, snuggling her to keep her warm.

Galaxy: *slowly walks to the River* ...Hey Rasha~ what are you doing in the river~?

Rasha: Hm? Galaxy, shouldn't you be-

Galaxy: Happy Halloween~ my friend! I hope you had a wonderful, fun Time~ now let's play~!!!

Rasha sees that Galaxy is holding a🔪...

Rasha: uh.. Galaxy, You better put that knife down..

Galaxy: Wh-what? No~ I won't do that~

Rasha: *Stands up* Galaxy..are you ok-

Galaxy: I'm fine! I'm fine! I'm perfectly fine! *Eye twitches* like hell~

Rasha lowers her tail and ears.

Galaxy: What's wrong~? Don't you wanna *laughs* play~?

Galaxy: IT'S TIME FOR ME TO STRIKE~!!!!!

Galaxy jumps and flip and tries to stab Rasha, but Rasha avoid the stabbing attacks, and kicks her on the stomach.

Galaxy: Oof! *Breathing heavily*

Rasha: Galaxy, can't you see you've got insane!? What's wrong with you!? Is this another prank of yours!? Please tell me you're playing!

Galaxy:...*laughs creepy*....Oh dear friend~ this ain't games~ and this isn't a prank at all~ *looks at Rasha* *grins evily* I ain't playing at all~ *takes a Knife* happy Halloween~!!!!!

Galaxy stabs Rasha in the stomach, making her bleeding from her mouth and stomach.

Rasha: ....*bleeding* g-galaxy...wh-why would you...d-do th-that?...*falls down*..

Galaxy:

Man that was fun~!!!....*laughs* well, I better get.. going...*runs away*

Galaxy left Rasha on the ground, bleeding deeply.

Elsa saw Rasha and howl the soldier wolves for help. Scarlett was Shocked and upset as well.

When Galaxy went home, she looks at herself in the mirror and realizes that she isn't herself, she realizes that she isn't Who she is.. Galaxy starts to flashback when she was like this at the Mental hospital.

Flashback

Doctor#2: *checking on the list* hmm..

Galaxy: *laughing* ....🎵 Playtime~ playtime ~ always fun~! Never, ever stop the fun~!!! 🎵

Once the doctors came inside to inject Galaxy, Galaxy smiles and stands up but suddenly takes out a larger 🔪.

Doctors: 😧!!

Galaxy: Let's Play!!!! *starts Killing them, slicing them off, ripping them apart, she also devours a trolls head* yummy~!!!

Doctor#4: She's out of Control!! She's outta CONTROL!!!!

Galaxy: Me? Out of control!? NEVER!!!! *Sticks a knife on the doctor's head* BYE! BYE~!!!!

Flashback ends

Galaxy:... wait a sec...*looks at her hands*..... I... what have I done?...
