idk man i could never be close friends with someone who isn’t at least midway of what you describe as chronically online
#people who aren’t online all the time have a life#YEAH OKAY#all my friends at home are what you’d describe as people who consume the internet ‘Normally’#i cannot relate to them on any level & ik that if i met them at this point in my life#we wouldn’t even be friends#yea correct opinions & an interesting personality doesn’t have anything to do with your internet consumption but maybe it just slightly doe#half the time im just pissed off when we have conversations#cause im interested in what you have to say and what your thoughts about things are#but they’re all blank canvases with no ability to hold conversations apart from stuff that doesn’t include their everyday life#and i love to hear about the events in your life too#but then when we have serious conversations about issues they just have the most awful takes#cause it’s what they’ve been brought up with#no character development at all
