Okay so this feels like a really weird thing to be happy about, considering that Ranboo is having such bad time, but them thinking that they don't want to die feel like such a big thing! Like, if we look at the last time their health was this shit, they had completely given up! They were fine, if not more than fine, with the concept of death! So now, no matter how shitty everything is, them going "I don't want to die" feels like a win, even if it is a very slim silver lining on a massive bitch of a stormcloud

YES!!! ranboo was literally ready to die in ycssgwtlfs! they were passively suicidal then, and have been for a good portion of their life since being in the hospital. it definitely is something to be happy about i think, wanting to live is definitely something that matters here, and marks a big change. they can recognize now that there are people who love them and want them to be okay, and that has definitely helped them want to be okay, plus tommy, tubbo, techno, bad, and the people in the senate have all given them a reason to think things can be better. they have friends, they essentially have a family at this point, they can see a better side to things that they want to get to, even if they dont know how to get there. they never learned how to take care of themself. they never learned what to do beyond work as hard as possible toward the next goal. but they want to live. they want to learn how to be able to live

hi so um. i don't know if you remember me or not, so sorry if this comes across as weird but... it's me jellybellybaby! i was trying to make a new blog, and put in this email not remembering i had used it for the (very short-lived) jellybellybaby blog annd.. well now i'm here. i just wanted to say 'you can't spell student government without three letters from stupid' meant and still means a lot to me. the summer that fic was coming out and the school year following it were both very difficult times for me, and seeing your updates and writing my absurdly long comments was something that always made me feel a lot better. even if i fell off in writing comments near the end due to said difficult times, i read the whole way through and have come back to reread it so many times both during and after the fic was over. i'll never forget how much joy it brought me, even if it may seem like such a small thing. and now that i'm back on here, i've decided i may as well read the next installment in the series as well! i may not be writing my comment essays and checking every hour for updates anymore, but i still love your writing and it really has impacted me so much. so, thank you for sharing your writing with the world :) it has a lot more of an effect than you probably think
