the idea of john rider being undercover with scorpia when the outbreak happens and maintaining his cover but slowly losing himself into his survival so when he does cross paths again with MI6 ['fireflies' equiv] and they propose he gives them intel on scorpias smuggling/network - because lets be real scorpia would absolutely monopolise on the apocalypse and have contacts with smugglers and bandits and fedra etc - and john flipping on MI6 and staying loyal to scorpia would be so fun

#this is just me brainstorming #but alex still ending up on MI6 radar in the end thanks to his immunity #and mi6 willing to sacrifice alex for the 'greater good' of humanity #ian being a fedra soldier on mi6's payroll etc #yassen still killing ian at some point #this could the flashback scenes so fun tho cause yassen flashbacking to his time with john #and alex flashbacking to his time with ian and jack #yassen comparing john and alex the same way joel with sarah and ellie #its about the fear of replacing someone #idk #alex rider #yassen gregorovich
