"It's taken a lot of years and well, sometimes the patience dwindles some days more than others." Yasmin admitted to the younger woman, "it's very rewarding, but that's because of the challenge." She could understand how it wasn't a career choice for everyone. "I've never been," though Yasmin had not traveled far from Kismet Harbor. "I'm a homebody at times, I have a cat," she laughed, shaking her head, "which I suppose can make me sound lonely, but, I love spending nights at home with her as well as my two best friends," she told her, "we often will have wine nights. I'm not nearly as fun as I like to make myself sound," she realized as she was talking to her, but it elicited a laugh from Yasmin anyway. @phoebecarver
She raised her eyebrows. "Wow. That's amazing. I don't think I'd ever have the patience to work with kids." She had a temper on her and she could barely deal with people at the gas station, there'd be no way she could handle kids in a classroom. "I'll have to check it out. And same here. Back in New York, I'd go to Coney Island a lot just for the food." It was one of the few things she missed about home, but was glad they had a place like that here. "Anything else you like to do?" @yasminxmessina

location: food trucks downtown
"I hope this table is okay," Yasmin said, sitting down across from Cael. She set down a tray of food, having ordered a variety from the truck. "Also I am only a little sorry that I practically ordered one of everything so I hope you are not going to make me eat all of this alone. I couldn't decide, it all looked good." Yasmin smiled at Cael, picking up a fried pickle to plop onto her tongue.

Learning to surf was not something that Yasmin thought she'd ever partake in. However, when the class schedule came across her Facebook feed, she signed up. On a whim, wanting to do something for herself. There was something about what had happened with Cael that had her wanting to try something new. Though her instructor was at least ten years younger than her, Yasmin had grown to enjoy the company of the young woman. Their session had ended, the mid day sun beating upon them. "How about some lunch? My treat," Yasmin offered the other brunette as she towel dried off her hair.

location: kismet harbor fire station
The elementary school was attending their annual field trip to the fire station and though she was no longer teaching and hadn't been for the last five years, she still enjoyed going. Plus, it tended to make parents more comfortable to have the principal keeping watch as well. Yasmin kept her gaze on the fire truck before spotting a familiar parent, "Is Fallon enjoying himself, you think?" She questioned as she stopped by Kacey with a smile.

Yasmin didn't know what to expect when their lips touched. When their lips met, she was lucky that her hand was bracing herself against his wrist. Her heart fluttered in her chest in a way that she never thought possible. The soft kiss had her feeling breathless as she pulled back from it, fighting the urge to push it any further. "I'll see you, Friday," she whispered to him, her hand falling from his wrist before she stepped back and got into her vehicle. @caelxmontgomery
END.
"Ten points." He cracked a joke, long glad she was entertaining his suggestion and going along with it. He had no idea what they were going to do, but he had a week to think about it. He'd deliberately chosen it for after his hospital appointment, knowing that he would need it too for his stress management. Some time to rewind. Eyes flickered to her hand, watching as it closed around his, an action he anticipated, and accepted. The touch of her cheek against his fingertips a soft, soothing brush, just as he had imagined it. His torso tensed at the placement of her hand, yet Cael did not move away from it. Instead all attention was focused on her and how she leaned up to him, meeting her halfway by having their lips touch in a gentle kiss. And just like that, the world grew comfortably silent. @yasminxmessina

location: yasmin's home
Living in Cresthill Meadows for as long as she had, Yasmin had grown to enjoy getting to know her neighbors. Nancy Thompson had been around in particular and the knock on the door told her that the woman was there for their brunch hang out. "I hope you come thirsty," Yasmin grinned at the other, opening up the door with a smile, "I might have went a little bit overboard with the juice flavors for mimosas."

location: outside of hopeful horizons medical
Yasmin had promised that she would pick Viktor up from work and she was right on time, despite having to stay late at work. Though, that was not unusual for the principal, especially this time of the year. She always had some sort of paperwork to catch up on, budgets to review, it was never ending. But, what she had been looking forward to was quality time with one of her best friends. When the car door opened, she smiled at Viktor, turning down the music she had been listening to, "Now, did you use your day productively and think about where we were going to dinner?"

"Viktor," she walked up to one of her oldest friend's in Kismet Harbor. Her arms wrapped around him for a hug and she pressed a kiss to his cheek. "Hi Joanna," she bent down to give his daughter a hug as well. "I'm honored I get to spend some quality time with the two of you," she stood back up to face Viktor, "Santi and Val spending time together tonight?"

Yasmin watched as the young woman brought the young girl a teddy bear. It seemed to clear up the tears that had come from knocking over the blocks. "I had a bear just like that when I was growing up." One that had been lost in the house fire. She'd never been able to replicate a bear just like it in all the years since and she certainly had tried to find something just as comforting after losing both her parents. "I hope the teddy bear gets you a bit of peace," she smiled warmly at the woman before lifting her hand in a wave to head out. @kvtieansley
END.
"Believe me, I've noticed," she tried to laugh, although she was a little distracted by the distraught toddler. She only had thirteen months worth of parenting experience and she still didn't know what to do in these situations.
"Hey," she told Maisie, grabbing the diaper bag. Inside she'd brought along the little girl's favorite teddy bear, and she handed it over. Almost instantly, Maisie's tears slowed down and she whimpered as she reached for the bear, cuddling it close. "All better?"

Yasmin had a bad habit of staying late at school during the year but it was the beginning of the school year that seemed to take up a bit more of her time. Yasmin felt like no matter how much she prepared during the year wasn't work a lick of her time considering how much she had suddenly felt behind. Wanting to get take out, Yasmin realized how quiet it was in the restaurant and figured it would the food would taste better coming right from the kitchen and not having to suffer through a Styrofoam container. As she walked towards an empty table, she spotted Maverick. "Eating alone?" She questioned, bracing herself for the potential rejection.

location: kinsellas vineyard wine tour
Yasmin awaited the wine tour with Viktor by her side. They had booked it quite a while ago when it was released to the public. "I'm so disappointed Santi couldn't join us," Yasmin pouted, pushing her bottom lip out as they stood in line for the wine tour. "Is he with Val?" She questioned out of curiosity, actually missing the partner of her best friend. "He owes us, make sure you tell him that next time you see him."

"I am happy to report that we have not had any emergency room visits this year so far," for elementary school students, almost four months into the year seemed to be the longest amount of time. "How's that little babe of yours doing? I'm sure you're both happy that Noah is home, huh?" Frankly, Yasmin was surprised she had gotten Nora out of the house since her husband returned - but she wasn't going to complain.

Yasmin laughed with his joking words, "Of course not," she teased him back, shaking her head as she did so. "It is," she agreed with Gavin's words. "Still loving being principal," but that had always been obvious about Yasmin and how much she loved her job. "I was spending a bit of time with Santi and Vik after Santi's health scare," the two had been her best friends for a long time. Viktor long before Santi, but since the two started dating and through their marriage, Yasmin had become their third wheel so to speak. "How's life for you? Land any big clients lately?" @gavinmccall
"Is that so? I couldn't tell," he joked. Gavin had his fair share of exes throughout his life. All of the women were lovely and each one offered a unique perspective and valuable life lessons that he appreciated. However, he had never felt ready to settle down with anyone, much to his mother's dismay. "I haven't seen you in a while. Life seems to be treating you well. What's new?"

"Honey, I'm home," Yasmin said in a sing-song tone as she stepped into the Pierce home with her bags of take out, wine included, that she had promised she'd stop and bring over, "and I coming with all of our favorites," she carried the bags into the kitchen that she was as familiar with as her own.

location: uptown books open mic night
Yasmin didn't attend the open mic nights to perform but rather to watch those that were performing. She had got there a little late, near the end of someone's performance but she clapped loudly anyway. When the blonde got off the stage and headed toward the refreshments, Yasmin stepped up to her, "That was incredible," she told her, "Jo, right?" She had recognized her from around town and her years of growing up in Kismet Harbor.

location: hands on kismet harbor meeting
Yasmin had been looking for something to fill her summer with. Though she worked down at the school often, getting things straightened out for the upcoming school year, she still had a surplus of free time that she did not have during the year. When she had found the flyer for Hands on Kismet Harbor, Yasmin knew it was just the thing to fill her time. Sure enough, helping others was Yasmin's cup of tea. However, when she stepped into the meeting room, it was rather empty. "Excuse me," she walked up to a man, "is this were people are meeting for Hands on Kismet Harbor? Don't tell me I missed it."
