Two crochet tops I made summer of 2024. No pattern just rough measuring as I went and visually following the rough design of a few stole pintrest pics with no credits or pattern attached lol.

I think they turned out pretty cute. Neither one is gonna fit me while I'm pregnant tho lol. Might sell them, cus idk how long it might take me to get back to around this size. I've gained like 33lbs so far which is average for pregnancy. So in theory I should drop most just having the baby, but there's no guarentee that's gonna happen and these were already quite fitted, so I think I need some new ones.

ideas for casual low-stress art projects if you want to work on something creative during the new year

dream journal: you can either write down every single dream you have so you can look back on everything, or just write down the best ones and add little drawings or collages to embellish them

weather blanket/scarf: create a legend for which colour matches each temperature/weather and then knit one row every day so by the end of the year you have a little reminder of what the weather looked like this year

junk journal/scrapbook: collect misc things like labels/ads/stickers/receipts and make little collages with them in a book

so the og foxes are obviously all really close, and there would probably be a significant divide between them and the fairly large group of incoming freshmen, and while we could talk about the impact that would have on their teamwork, i would rather focus on the idea of the new foxes having a conspiracy board they’re using to collaboratively try to determine which of the og foxes are in relationships with each other and what kind of relationship

....I am sorely tempted to make a "round" PVC pipe blocking set-up for my circular things now, it would make my life SO much easier. And I could simply store it in the shed or behind my bed when not using it.

Bought some crochet kits (because I can) and they come with the starting magic circle already done. Which is great! Because magic circles can be difficult for beginners (which I am not).

But... I had to undo it because I crochet with a very tight tension, much tighter than this pre-started magic circle for beginners was done. 🤣🙈🤷🏼‍♀️

This blanket is a monster. I had no idea how big it was going to turn out. This is it on a king sized bed. Not the best photo but I was so excited to finish it I just had to share. Tomorrow, assuming the weather is good for it, I'll get some better photos in the sun.

Yarn Cat

This is the game I was making throughout 2024, and have been nervously overthinking releasing, you can play it in your browser here.

Yarn Cat is a slow oldschool puzzle game about a mysterious cat that is somehow also a ball of yarn, travelling through odd lands to bring love to other cats. This is my first pico-8 game, and the first game I've made in about 20 years.

Through 66 levels across 8 worlds, your goal is use your body and the yarn tail you leave behind to interact with buttons, fairies, and frogs in just the right sequence to magically awaken a sleeping cat and give them a nuzzle. But your tail might also get in the way and block your path, so experiment, mess around, and maybe try to think ahead!
