Sudden strong urge to write a song that sounds like a love song but is actually describing the symptoms of POTS (and/or is talking about salt? maybe?) despite not having song-writing skills This impulse brought to you by the realization that both things are sometimes described using phrases like heart flutter* and weak in the knees and how many times I say things like "I want to but my heart won't let me" or "my heart is telling me not to go" (meaning "my heart rate is too high") *I thought about this one too many times and now the phrase makes no sense but I think it's a real phrase?

So I make no promises given my everything, but does anyone have any holiday and/or winter-related plushies they'd like to see me make? editing to add: this migraine is eating my words a bit so if I reply to your comments and my reply doesn't quite make sense please feel free to ask clarifying questions I will not be offended I just have some words missing at the moment and some are harder to work around than others. It's not you it's me lol

I went to a local yarn store for the first time, and while I was there, somebody was talking about getting a beginner's knitting kit, and she inquired about when lessons were, and when she was told that they'd be happy to sit down with her and teach her, she was so delighted. She talked about how excited she was and how much she wanted to learn to knit, and it just... it made me fall in love with humanity. It was this pure, unadulterated happiness coming from somebody and it was so genuine and kind, and I couldn't help but smile.

I guess all of this is to say... every moment, there are tiny little joys like this all over the world, and it makes this life worth living. I hope you witness and feel joy this simple, this pure.

Leaning in to the ornament idea: what if I get those plastic ornament balls to encase each crochet before I hang them up on the ceiling. It would be like the movie. Also would protect them from dust better I hope.
