Note
Which crusaders would use a dry erase marker to give Polnareff various eyebrow shapes and which crusaders would not participate but would also refuse to tell Polnareff and leave him to figure it out himself when he sees himself in a mirror next?
kakyoin has the marker and avdol isn’t saying a word

Abdul - Real
This is cross-posted from Wattpad and available on AO3.
Enjoy~
Warning: This contains major spoilers for Part 3: Judgement chapters/episodes.
After landing on a seemingly deserted Island with everyone else and meeting with a very mysterious old man, Polnareff went out suddenly and disappeared by the end of the day.
You walked towards the beach where you all disembarked as the sun was setting, looking desperately for your lost French friend.
"Poooolll'! Polnareff?? J-P!!!" You called out, only to be greeted by silence and by the white sound of the waves gently hitting the shore. "Where the hell is he...?"
You kept walking and walking along the seemingly endless coast, searching worriedly until the sky slowly blackened.
You started to become scared that something might have happened to him, knowing how he was easily targetted by enemies and also pretty reckless. But before you could even keep these thoughts in mind, a deep raspy voice called out, startling you out of your mind.
"Ah Y/N, here you are! Finally." Joseph approached you as you were sitting tiredly on some rock. "Come back, you must be hungry."
He placed a reassuring hand on your back to usher you to your feet, but you looked up at him worriedly. "But... Polnareff-"
"Don't worry about him, he's a big boy." He dismissed with a big grin. "Now come, there's someone I need to show you."
You furrowed your eyebrows at him, but still got up and followed him. Someone? Was he talking about Mr. Abdul? But he made it clear he didn't want to have anything to do with any of you. So why?
With a lot of confusion from your end, Joseph lead you straight to where the old man lived. All of this really put you off, and you knew that Polnareff, wherever he was, felt the same as you.
You really wanted to find him and talk it out. You were friends after all, and you both were the most affected by the dreadful incident with Hol Horse and J.Geil.
Everything was so disorienting. Polnareff blamed himself for Abdul's death, and everyone knew how close you had gotten to the Egyptian, what you two felt for each other and how his death devastated you.
"You know Mr. Joestar... When we saw Muhammad's father earlier..." You started hesitantly as you looked down and the old man cut you off.
"Stop thinking Y/N, you're only hurting yourself. Here, wait for me and don't move, I'll be right back."
He left you at the clearance where you met with the old man living on the island. You looked around the silent space and the seemingly empty cabin.
Strange. Why did he leave you all alone? You at least expected to see Kakyoin and Jotaro, but no one was there.
Trusting Joseph, you did as you were told and waited. You waited the longest five minutes in your life and still no one showed up. What was he doing?
Tired of waiting, you decided to walk around and picked up some flowers from nearby bushes. You smiled to yourself as you observed their exotic designs and colors. They were beautiful and so much more different than what you used to see in your home country.
Completely enamored by the flowers, you didn't even notice the bulky presence that stealthily sneaked behind you.
"...You're still sensitive to the beauties of nature, I see."
You jumped and flinched at the sudden sound of a strong and deep voice so close to your ear. That voice... No way.
In sheer disbelief, you slowly turned around, eyes wide as saucers, you basically expected to see a ghost behind you.
You pivoted entirely, only for your eyes to meet with a strong chest. Red. Such a pleasing and passionate color, but you weren't sure if this was real or if your mind was playing sick tricks on you.
Your eyes travelled up to meet unique gold jewels, then up again to see beautiful deep chocolate skin. The higher you looked, the harder your heart was pounding in your chest.
Your now watery eyes stopped on the most mesmerizing shade of honey orbs you've ever seen.
You bit your lip and your breath hitched as the handsome man smiled down at you and your heart skipped so many beats you thought you were about to have a sheer heart attack.
"Muhammad..." You breathed before letting out a choked sob and his eyes softened on you.
"Yes I am."
You gasped, bringing your shaky hand to cover your equally shaky lips at the sweet sound of his voice. Maybe one of the flowers you picked released some sort of hallucinogenic spores that made you see and hear things.
"I must be crazy," you laughed through small distressed sobs as your voice cracked. "To see you here so clearly..."
"You don't think I'm real?" He spoke almost sultrily while eyeing your small form under the moonlight. You were even more beautiful than the last time he saw you.
He huffed quietly at your silence and noticed how hard you tried to not burst into tears. He leaned down to your level and held you chin delicately in his huge hand as he lifted your face up.
He closed the already short distance between you and met your lips in a chaste but longing kiss as he ran his other hand up and down your arm tenderly, his warm touch giving you goosebumps.
You couldn't control the whimper that left your mouth as you threw the flowers away and clutched onto him like a lifeline, wrapping your now free arm around his neck and sealing your lips more firmly against his still shy, undaring ones.
Oh how you longed for those delicious full lips of his. How amazing his strong arms felt, snaked protectively around your waist and back in a cottony soft hold, the same way you would hold a fragile crystal sculpture.
His radiating warmth was so comforting in the early night breeze, it made you feel safe and loved. It felt as if the threat of enemy Stand users and Dio's curse didn't exist anymore.
You squeezed him tighter against you and caressed his face and neck desperately as you drowned yourself in his delicious scent. He smelled of Arabian musk and some kind of sweet spice, you could never quite put your finger on it, but it sure sent you reeling and made you reach heaven.
As you reluctantly separated to catch the glimpse of a breath, something in him seemed to snap and he caught your lips right back in a much hungrier kiss, his usual modest behavior completely thrown to the side.
He grunted and gripped onto you as if the realization of much it must have hurt you to think that he was gone forever hit him and that he wanted to apologize,( make it up to you) and show you that he was here and not planning on going anywhere.
Oh if he knew how good your curves felt against him, he would have never left you in the first place. His gentlemanly demeanor now long forgotten, he ran his calloused hands up and down your body and he relished in the softness you offered him. You were his. Entirely. God, he could never voice how much he missed you.
When you let out a muffled moan and tapped gently on his shoulder, letting him know it was finally time to let you go and take a well deserved breath.
He reluctantly separated from you and looked at your flushed face, your eyes still closed from the overwhelming intensity of the kiss.
"Did that feel real enough?" He smirked and panted slightly while pushing some hairs out of your face.
"Haah I-... I aah... I thought... Haa..." You tried to voice out, breatheless and with heavy tears streaming down your cheeks.
He shushed you and wiped your wet cheeks with his thumb. "I know. I'm sorry you had to live this..."
"Oh my God...Please don't let this be a dream..." You prayed as you nuzzled your face against his neck and he chuckled lightly. "H-how...?! Pol' said you got shot and-"
"I'll explain." He laid a hand over your head and caressed your hair gently. "But for now, please let me just... Look at you."
You leaned back to face him again and he rested his forehead against yours and closed his eyes, taking in your sweet scent before he leaned away only inches to take a good look at you.
He scanned your glossy eyes, your flushed cheeks and nose and your now puffy and darkened lips. A true piece of artwork in his eyes.
"God..." He sighed, "Ya hobi... Ya omri..." He spoke quietly and his deep breathy voice whispering sweet nothings in arabic sent tingles vibrating through your spine and made your legs feel like jello.
You blushed a warm shade of red as you craved to hear more from this beautiful man and his beautiful language.
"Mohammad... When you were gone..." You glided your hands to his face and held him carefully, making sure the warmth of his skin was no illusion. "I was so lost... When Kakyoin told me y-you were... I-"
You squeezed your eyes shut to prevent more tears from falling, which deliberately failed and you sobbed again, reliving the mourning you had to experience as bright as day. He rubbed your waist reassuringly and laid his other hand to the back of your head, gently burying your face in his chest, regret tearing at his heart.
"I'm sorry, Y/N, I hurt you. I wanted you to know the truth, but we had to keep it down so Dio wouldn't target me... Or you."
You relaxed in his arms and hoped he wouldn't even loosen his hold on you. It felt so good to be with him again. He was alive. And well. You were so grateful, you wanted nothing but to protect him and stay by his side.
"Mr. Joestar told me everything. You kept your head up and fought restlessly, standing up to the enemy." He smiled and let out a soft chuckle, pride dripping from his voice. "My girl is so strong."
You smiled at his endearing tone. "I just... I figured you wouldn't have liked me bringing the others down, so I kept fighting... For you... So that your death was meaningful."
His heart ached at your words and he couldn't help but squeeze you tighter against him. How in hell did he find himself such an amazing, brave woman?
He leaned down and landed a soft peck on the top of your head, lingering there before whispering.
"Habibti... I'll never let you go again."
You both heard a soft sniffle accompagnied by an overly exaggerated shushing sound before it was followed by a characteristic 'yare yare daze', but as you turned to the direction of the noises, you saw the bushes and leaves rustle hastily.
You two laughed at your friends goofiness. "Let's go see them. Shall we?" He let go and took your hand, warming it up with his much bigger one.
"Did I hear one of them crying? Or is it just me?"
"Kakyoin."
"Oh."
After that, you couldn't seem to be able to take your hands off of him. Always wrapping your arms around his torso or hugging his arm. So much that either Kakyoin or Jotaro had to snatch you away from the man to let him have some privacy.
Bonus:
When Polnareff came back to you all to 'break the news' of Abdul's return, he seemed to have fallen from grace when no one even batted an eye.
Of course everyone except him were aware, and the poor man was left looking like a depressed idiot.
"Don't cry, Polnareff, sorry, it wasn't meant to be a bad joke..." Kakyoin tried to calm his weeping friend down, feeling bad.
"But...but..." He turned to glare at you. "Were- WERE YOU PRETENDING TO CRY AND BE DEPRESSED FOR TWO WHOLE WEEKS Y/N??!!"
You gasped at the assumption. "I-... I DIDN'T PRETEND!!! I was legitimately mourning! I only learned the truth hours ago!!! I was shocked too!" You defended and Polnareff noticed the men not quite looking at your direction.
"Yeah... About that... Sorry again Y/N..." Kakyoin looked down and subconsciously laid a hand on his swollen left cheek.
"We'll know better than to lie to Y/N next time." Joseph sheepishly rubbed the back of his neck. "Oh well, we deserved it..."
"Huh...? Why? What the hell happened?" Polnareff asked with confusion and your daggers of eyes dissuaded him from asking you.
"Let's say..." Abdul started a bit amused, "The whole 'Let's pretend I'm dead' thing didn't go through Y/N very well and uh..." He discretely made a fist gesture towards his face and Polnareff's eyes widened in shock.
"D-did... YOU PUNCHED JOTARO TOO?!"
"Yare yare daze..." Said male tipped down his hat and walked off, mumbling "That's not a woman, that's a monster."
"I HEARD YOU JOJO!"
I'm in such an Abdul mood omg this man is so underrated it's unfair. He's smart, powerful, hot (litterally and figuratively) and his laugh is babey 🤤.
*markiplier voice* HE'S SO CHARMING! OH SO HANDSOME!!
Also: - Habibti: My darling - Hobi: My love - Ya omri: my life, but you usually say it when you see something incredibly cute lol it's my favourite thing to say or hear.
