I'm probably a little late in realizing this parallell but, as a fan of both RWBY and Arcane, I just now realized that Cait and Vi are pretty much what Weiss and Yang could've been like as a couple if the Freezerburn pairing had become canon.

It pretty much the same kind of dynamic in some ways, no?

The brawler (who also shares a close relationship with her younger sister) and the princess (who has a strained relationship with her parent who is a leading figure in their main world).

Not saying this to spark any shipping discourse. It's just an observation I just made.

I changed the focus from Yang to Blake because I want yang to focus on her sister, too in the volume about Ruby's mental problem. Blake expressed her emotions more deeply in v9, compared to Yang so I drew her yearning instead.
