Worick stared down the four men from the opening of the alleyway. 

Just a few moments ago Worick had been following his darling home from work late at night. After all, Ergastulum is filled with people who just want to cause others pain before taking everything that person has. He saw the men grab his darling and pull them into an alley in order to rob them. The men had glared at Worick before realizing he was one of the handymen. Of course the glint they saw from one of his hands also made a good deterrent as they ran off. Worick would haunt them down with Nicolas later but for now his darling needed him.

“Don’t worry sugar, I'll walk you the rest of the way home.” He said after calming them down. He didn’t give them a chance to answer as he pulled them close and started walking down the street. 

His darling still too in shook to realize they had never showed Worick where they live.

Yandere Reaction: Their darling asking them to pretend to be their partner

Nicolas Brown: 

Doesn’t like the idea at first so he won’t go along with it but if they keep pestering him about it then he will agree to it. However, unlike his darling he won't be pretending at all. This situation will only give him a chance to act on what he's been wanting to do. 

Worick Arcangelo: 

He only goes along with it to show everyone that they are together. Not that he doesn't do that anyways by spreading rumors but now he can show people that it's true.

Somehow the yandere found out about their darlings “Dirty little secret”. That secret being that they have very…steamy fantasies about them.  

Smug bastard all the way 

Not only that but he is going to milk this info for all its worth. 

By that he will be teasing them in two ways. One way will make them flustered, and the other way will make them want to punch him in the face.  

He won't mind a benefits type of relationship with his darling…at first. He will use it as a start to turn it into something more. 

With that in mind his will hint at that kind of relationship among his teasing. 

All in all, he's going to have the best time when he learns of how his darling thinks of him when they are alone.

Meeting: 

Now he has many ways of meeting his darling from a simple shop worker/owner to them being one of his clients. Not only that but it’s hard to tell what exactly caught his eye about them so it’s a real chance game with him with the right amount of unlucky and lucky depending on the situation. 

Stalking/After Meeting: 

He is going to make sure that they keep ‘accidentally’ running into each other until they actually start having conversations that will eventually lead to a friendship. 

Kidnapping: 

It would be easy for him to take his darling, especially if they were tag but he saves that for a backup plan. 

Punishments: 

They could either be swift and harsh or lengthy and harsh. It all just depends on what they did and how angry he got after. 

Relationship: 

The relationship has the possibility of being normal or what his darling believes is normal while he continues to get rid of threats without them knowing. Basically, he’s going to keep his darling blissfully unaware for as long as he can. 

Random headcanons: 

He will somewhat stalk his darling especially if they’re one to work at night or go out at night. The only other time he’ll really stalk them is in the beginning when he wants to learn where they live and if he has nothing else to do. 

He always seems to know where they are even if they really do try to avoid him by taking different paths he will always know where they are.  

If it started out that his darling was one of his clients, he would make sure that he was the only one that they were going to and then proceed to charm them not only in the sheets but outside of them too. 

One of two main ways he manipulates them is either by guilt tripping them or making them believe that it was their idea in the first place. 

He will keep the façade up all the way until he has them to where they can't leave him whether that is by kidnapping, baby trapping, or marriage.

For the most part he is a docile ruler not bothering any neighbors but won’t put up with anything they try to pull either. If another ruler wants to fight, then he will fight them but if not then he’ll leave it be. That is until he meets his darling then he really starts to throw his weight around. They won’t even know what hit them either. One day they were living day to day in their kingdom or working at a small shop in the marketplace then the next day they were in a strange new land with a man who claimed to be their new husband. (Weather they had one before or not) 

Future: 

Truth be told he isn't looking that far ahead, just what he should plan for the next year or so. But it all depends on how easy his darling makes everything whether their future will be bright or gloomy.

  There will be fights at times but they will eventually come to an agreement at some point. (although it may not be something you agree with.)

  When they finally have you where they want you there is no escape no one is going to help you and even if they do, they will just end up as another body on the ground.

  No matter how the story plays out there is no chance that you will ever escape, because tricks and manipulating will only get you so far. However, if you do decide to be brave enough and succeed then you better get as far away as you can because the consequences that are waiting for you are far more than any nightmare could ever be.

Nicolas Brown:

Wary of your affections at least at first, not that he didn't enjoy it, he just didn't trust it at first.

But slowly he gave into it, every kiss, hug/cuddle, everything little touch you gave him made him feel warm inside.

Doesn't really care how clingy or overly affectionate you get however he does care about if you're affectionate with others as well.

If you start getting too affectionate with others (even if it was just in a friendly way) it will end bad for everyone.

But as long as you're only like this with him then he is happy.  (And more people stay alive.)

Worick Arcangelo:

He will be double as affectionate as you are.

And he loves every moment of it.

Given his affection can be a bit more...shameless, however like nicolas he will be wary although he doesn't show it. Keeping in mind that you may just be trying to butter him up in order to do something.

But after a while he will see that this is just how you are.

All in all, he loves any you give him and double it in return.

Alex Benedetto:

She loves every bit of it.

She trusts you completely so she won't be as wary of it like the others will.

When she sees you being affectionate with others (depending on instance it is.) she will either say something about it or just see it as being friendly.  

She doesn't really get jealous that easily so for the most part she will leave you be.

She is not as bloodthirsty as the others so people around you will be fine.

Skeptical but will accept anything that his darling gives him. 

Will enjoy whatever the gift is big or small. 

Not used to people giving him gifts especially if it's from someone he cares for deeply. 

Will cherish it for the rest of his days holding it close when the day has been shit become a comfort item for him. 

No matter what the gift is he will be happy since it is from the person he loves most.  

 Worick Arcangelo: 

He will be smug about it but still very happy. 

He will put it with the rest of the things that he has either taken to make sure it doesn't get damaged in any way. 

Anytime he is having a bad day he will take it out and think of you. That's really the only thing that makes him happy any more. 

He will make sure it stays in good shape as well as break any hands that try to take it. 

Little things like this are what made him fall for you and it will be a good motivation for later. 

  Alex Benedetto: 

It would surprise her at first but would be so happy that her darling gave her a gift. 

She will also get them something as thanks but for right now will marvel at the gift. 

She is another one that will cherish it till her last day and will take good care of it. 

It will also become a comfort item for her. It will always make her think of her darling which is another comfort for her. 

She will love anything her darlings give her because it proves that they care for her as she does them.

Dead man tells no tales (yandere pirate Worick  x mermaid reader x yandere pirate Nicolas)

It was a calm warm summer day; the sea was at rest and there was a lone ship named  Ergastulum sailing on the open sea while captain worick was watching the horizon with his first mate Nicolas sitting nearby. While looking out at the waves movement caught woricks eye just a few yards off at first he thought maybe it was just the sea playing tricks on him that can happen if you've been out to sea for too long ‘sea madness’ they call it although if you're on the Ergastulum willing than there was something alright not right in the head. However, when he saw it again, he motioned to Nicolas to hand him a telescope. Putting it to his one good eye he looked to where he had first seen the movement and what he saw amazed him.

Never in his many years of sailing has he ever seen anything like this. A fishtail appeared above the waves before disappearing again under the deep blue. Turning to his friend he told him to take a look just to make sure he was reeling seeing what he thought he was seeing. When his friend turned back to him a bit wide eyes he spoke.  

“You see it too?” Nicolas nodded.  

Mermaid he signed.

“What do you think we could get for it?”

Nicolas shrugged.

Worick thought for a moment “we have to catch it.”

All day they followed the tail will until the sun went down at which point, they had made it to some cove, in the middle of the cove was a cave that the water fed into. They figure at daybreak they would search it.  

During the night worick was awakened by the most beautiful voice he had ever heard. He got up and went to a small window he had that looked out to the cave. The cave made the voice echo adding to its beauty, it kept him up all night not wanting to miss a moment of it. So, when Nicolas went to wake up the captain, he was surprised to see him already awake and looking out his window.

“I have to have it.” the captain said to himself. “One way or another.”

For most of the morning worick along with his first mate planned how they would catch the mermaid. All the while the pirate would keep an eye on the opening of the cave just in case the mermaid was to leave but so far it looked like it was still in there even if the voice stopped when the first rays of light began to shine. Finally, they decided to throw a net over with something in it that may attract the mermaid then when it was in it, they would pull it up.

All day they waited for a bite but nothing happened so at sunset they were about to pull the net back up and think of something else when the rope moved a little at first but then something tugged hard. The captain ordered the sailors to quickly pull the net up as they did, he prayed that they were fast enough. Eventually he saw a tail thrashing about and he smiled we got it!

Pulling the sea creature up and over the side of the ship the captain and his second in command rushed to see their catch. The creature was half fish and half human just as the legends had said they were. The mermaid looked at the people in fear, confused as to where it was but its thoughts didn't race for long before it blacked out from being out of the water for longer than it was used to.

When they woke up it was fairly dark but the moonlight did help to see its surroundings. It was in a large oval bucket deep enough for the water that was in it to come up to the mermaid's chest but the tail still hung over the side. The mermaid jumped when the door to the room was open and walked a large man with long blond-white hair with one blue eye that seemed to shine in the dark following him was another man that was shorter but still looked very powerful.  

The shorter man leaned against the wall as the blond man pulled up a chair next to the bucket. He did say anything, only smiled as he touched its face gently before running his fingers through its gills, the look on his face sent shivers through the sea creature.  

“Now now there's no need to be sacred~” he said “we’re not going to hurt you~”

Looking over to the man leaning against the wall his face expressionless but something about his eyes was still terrifying.

“You can understand me, can't you?” turning its attention back to the blond man it stared for a while before nodding.

“Good and do you know what we are?”

Again, the creature nodded.

“And do you know what happens to mermaids when pirates get a hold of them?”

The creature nodded with tears in its eyes knowing that its fate is sealed.

“Good now Nicolas here, “he motioned to the other man “is going to help look after you until we get back to land.”

With that the blond man left the room leaving behind the mermaid and Nicolas. The whole night they stared at each other the sea creature too sacred to take its eyes off him.

Days turned into weeks and weeks turned into months, throughout it all the two men were the only ones that ever came into the room. Worick, as you came to know his name later, seemed to be nice enough although a bit flirty while Nicholas on the other hand mostly just stared never saying a word but he did get closer. The creature was never alone with either one or both men always being in the room.  

That was until one day the mermaid was laying in the bucket listening to the ocean outside while worick was reading a book and Nicolas seemed to be in his own little world when suddenly a shout came from above.

“Captain we have company!”

Both men rushed out of the room to see what was happening. It was silent until a big explosion rang out, the mermaid jumped not knowing what was happening when the shouting started along with gunshots and steel hitting against steel. I have to get out of here now! The mermaid looked around to find a way to get away from the noises when its eyes looked out to the only window in the room. It was a bit high but fairly large enough to get through. Pulling itself over the side of the bucket typing it over the mermaid beginning to crawl to punching the chair closer to the window.  

Climbing up the chair careful not to knock it over it managed to get halfway through before someone grabbed it pulling it back inside falling back to the ground when it was all the way back inside.

“You should be more careful Nicolas won't want to hurt our beauty now~”

When the mermaid turned to look at the men behind them what it saw made its heart drop. Both men were covered in blood with sickening grins plastered on their faces, all was quiet on the ship.

“It appears, “ worick began as he walked towards the mermaid making it flinch. “that we had a mutiny on our hands but it's all taken care of now.”

He was now standing right above the mermaid making it feel small as he stared down with a darkness in his eye but he was not the only one.

“Nicolas, why don't you collect more water for our treasure here. Can't have them dying on us.”  

He turned back to the mermaid as Nicolas left to get more water.

“You know at first we were just going to sell you off to the highest bidder.” the mermaid felt even colder as they heard those words. “however, both me and Nicolas feel that it's just not right to part with you.”

“The crew seemed to have cot on to us when we didn’t head back to land and were going to take you for themselves. But don't worry everything is fine now and no one is ever going to get a hold of you and do you know why?”

He leaned in close inches away from the mermaid's face.

A Affection: How do they show their love and affection? How intense would it get?

He is very affectionate and can be very handsy.

B Blood: How messy are they willing to get when it comes to their darling?

It's already messy with the work he does but it will get even messier depending about what they did.

C Cruelty : How would they treat their darling  

He can be a bit cruel at times however he's cruel in that he will show you what happens to the people who get on his bad side and not really to you. It's more getting a point across than anything else.

D Delusional : How aware are they?

Not really delusional per say but he does have his moments.

E Exposed: How much of their heart do they bare to their darling? How vulnerable are they when it comes to their darling?

It will take a pretty long time (especially if you fight him) but slowly over time he will become vulnerable although it will only be when you two are alone.

F Fight : How would they feel if their darling fought back?

Maybe a bit irritated at times but he knows if his charm didn't work then you would so he mostly just rolls with it knowing at some point you'll give up.

H Hell :What would be their darling’s worst experience?

There was this one time when he got super pissed there was someone trying to help you and it worked when worick came back (already having a crap day) to find you gone. He nearly tore the city apart looking for you when he did finally find you. He was dead silent tying you to a pipe before taking care of the one that helped all while you watched in horror after he was done, he draped you back to Benriya. You've never seen him like that and lucky haven't since then so now you try to still be on his good side.

Just to have a peaceful life with you in his (older) age not having to worry about much.

J Jealousy : How jealous are they when it comes to their darling?

He can be fairly jealous when it comes to anyone getting too close for his liking.

K Knowledgeable : How much would they try to learn about their darling?

Base stuff at first than whatever else he needs when the time comes.  

L Love letters: How would they go about courting or approaching their darling?

He would be his usual flirty self, flowers, complements the whole nine yards.

M Mask: Are their true colors drastically different from the way they act around everyone else?

Not really maybe a bit bloodier but pretty much the same.

N Naughty: How would they punish their darling?

With intimidation or scaring you with what he can really do.

O Oppression: How many rights would they take away from their darling?

You can go wherever you want as long as he's around unless you've been fighting him then it's locked in a room.

P Patience: How patient are they with their darling?

He can be patient (unless he had a bad day than all bets are off but he will make up for it.)

Q Quit: If their darling dies, leaves, or successfully escapes, would they ever be able to move on?

Numb at this point numb even if he were to find another it wouldn't be the same.

Only if you get hurt (even by accident.) he will feel bad but other than that no.

It's always been lurking; he knows that if he ever found ‘the one’ he would do anything to keep them.

If he sees you cry, he’ll hold you close until you stop. Throwing a tantrum on the other hand he'll wait it out not really doing anything as well as irritated but know it had to stop at some point.

U Unique : Does anything make them different from the classic yandere?

You can say he's a bit more dangerous than most as well as not being that delusional but other than that not really anything makes him stand out that much.

V Vice: What weakness can their darling exploit in order to escape?

It's very hard to trick him and even more so to use something against him so your best bet would be just to leave Ergastulum and never look back.

W Wit’s end: Would they ever hurt their darling?

no, at least not intentionally (but accidents happen).

He would treat you better than most but not like a god/goddess.

Y Yearn: How long do they pine after their darling before they snap?

Depends on what you do for work or if you're in a relationship (he doesn't want anyone else touching you but him) but since he will use his charm first then he can wait but like a wolf in sheep's clothing he will snap at some point.

Z Zeal : How passionate would they be? Would they be passionate enough to break their darling?

He is very passionate so it isn't so far out there that could be the thing that breaks you but it's not the only thing.
