The Fool - How deluded is this yandere when it comes to their darling? Are they self aware on any level? 

More than deluded, I would say Shu feels very entitled when it comes to your attention and time. Not many can proclaim that they´re part of the few people that Shu holds dear, so naturally, you should consider it an honor that he wants to spend so much time with you!

He has a very hard time opening up to other people so once he falls for you, Shu just expects that he also becomes your top priority in life. What do you mean, you agreed to meet up with some of your friends later today? Shu invited you to watch him work on the next stage outfit for Valkyrie so naturally, you´re already busy. Tell them that you don´t have any time for them!

And he just expects you to go along with his whims, actually offended and making a fuss when you tell him no. Why should you have a life outside of him when all he does is think about you all day? That´s not fair, is it? So take responsibility for stealing his heart, for making him so obsessed with every little thing you do or say!

Now, Shu definitely has gotten better in recent years, so he tries to not be as controlling anymore because he has seen with both Nazuna and Mika what kind of effect that can have on the people he cares about and he really doesn´t want to repeat his past mistakes with you.

And yet, he still can´t refrain from demanding all of these things from you anyway, from holding on to you for as long as he can because deep down he´s scared. That´s why this self-awareness that the way he treats you isn´t right only rarely crosses his mind when he´s in a particularly vulnerable state. He doesn´t let himself think about it for too long so he pushes the thought away as soon as it comes

The Lovers - How would this yandere deal with their darling being in a relationship with someone else? 

Not well, to say the least! As I said above, Yandere Shu comes hand-in-hand with a load of entitlement so when he finds out that you already have a significant other? He´s pretty devastated. How can this be? For how long have you been dating someone else? How come you never told him about this? Scolds you for not telling him about this sooner - he demands to be the first person you tell anything to

He´s noticeably quieter for a bit as he mulls over what this means for him. Excuses himself early and goes home where he spends the rest of the day spilling his feelings to Mademoiselle, who offers him comfort and an open ear. He didn´t want you to see the sort of effect you have on him so that is why he had retreated to his own home instead.

But you´re sorely mistaken if you think that means Shu will simply give up on you.

Shu doesn´t strike me as the type who would kill someone but he has no problems being openly hostile towards your significant other. I mean have you seen the way he talks to Eichi? It´s like that but somehow worse. Shu just refuses to be civil with this eyesore that dares to try and take you away from him. Takes every single opportunity to insult them as he tries to make you see how much inferior they are compared to him.

Are you too blind to see that there is a vastly superior option for a romantic partner right in front of you? He thought you had better taste than this

Will actively try to drive a wedge between you and your current “partner” ( he cringes at the thought) by just talking them down until they finally break and leave you because of the nasty behaviour of your “best friend” ( also seethes at that notion)

But don´t be sad, there is no reason to cry over someone that was so obviously not on your level. They were a fool to let you go and Shu is more than eager to finally take you for himself

My Choice Ships of 2022 (pt 4)

Kou x Nazuna

I don’t gaf if making fun of Twilight is passe now; literally every other vampire couple has better chemistry than that shit...including THIS one...

‘Sexy creature of the night paired with a wide-eyed and naive human teenager is like....REALLY REALLY common of course....we keep writing them because we love stories like these.

But for a change, the roles are reversed in Yofukashi no Uta. This time the vampire is a woman instead of an older man and the human is a little boy instead of a young girl. I’d never been into the idea of the vampire being female (for obvious reasons) but this is a very genuinely fun and sweet story. Plus their first meeting is just ICONIC.

Lol it just gives you CHILLS, doesn’t it? The choice of weird colors and the shadows is particularly striking!

There are two other vampire couples I like where the vampire is a girl. Those would be Karin and Itsuka Tenma Kuro Usagi. Karin is the shy Shrinking Violet type and Himea is more aggressive with shades of yandere, while still being a good....er vampire.

Nazuna however is SUCH A TROLL.

And that is why she’s great and really works as a female vampire for me. She certainly does have her fanservice moments....but she comes off as funny more than anything else....

Like tricking her “prey” into staying at a love hotel...

and proceeding to jump up and down on the bed like a hyper-active five-year-old while Kou buries his face in his hands in embarrassment.

And of course the way Nazuna princess-carries Kou is adorable.

Role-reversal was REALLY in for 2022 huh? She’s his manic pixie dream girl...but she’s also kind of like his ‘prince’, flying to rescue him from his mundane life, now plagued with insomnia.

The other really great thing about Nazuna is she pretends to have a lewd mind...but she’s just as pure and chaste as Kou is.

The very MENTION of ‘romance’ renders her barely able to function...

and this is also fine because Kou is still trying to figure it out for himself....did I mention that Kou’s ADORABLE? LOOK HOW MUCH JOY NAZUNA BROUGHT TO HIS LIFE:

I’m reading the manga now. I seriously cannot wait to see what happens next. These two were so made for each other; that much is for certain.

Ensemble Stars First Impression Part 12:

"Knights....ok next" Didn't really care about them at first but slowly grew to like them. Their music to me feels like late 2nd gen/early 3rd gen kpop boygroups and i love it.

Tsukasa wanted me to like him because one day i decided to do 2 10 pulls on the general poll and his 5 star showed up in the first 10 AND the second 10 so yeah love him(just please don't speak english dude i cringe so bad but its fine)

Arashi is an icon period! Truly didn't the subject of gender struggles being part of a character's journey in the game but love that for her. I relate a lot to her wanting to protect her friends. Also her voice is so lovely on the songs.

Ritsu is a fun one. Not one but two "vampires" in the game lol. It's crazy that his va dubs midoriya for mha and he still shows up for the va's concerts like dude you dub one of the top animes of these days you are kinda above this but mad respect for him.

Izumi is my favorite voice in knights hands down. I like tsunderes but when he is near makoto he goes full yandere sadly because i don't like that stuff.

When this happened on the anime my brain melted lol this is so random to me hahaha leo probably is friends with them of course but it was so crazy to see nazuna and kiryu who i love and eichi and leo who i truly don't care together. Crazy Insanity but fun.

🍥 What's your favorite fic you've written?

Hm, that´s not really that easy for me to answer because there definitely is quite a lot I´m proud of having written in these past 3 years! But if I had to name something, it would probably be the yandere Shu Coraline AU.

It was something I came up with on the fly, originally not thinking anything would come off of it but then things just kept adding up in my mind and I just had so much fun coming up with ideas on what characters would be fitting stand-ins for the characters in Coraline while still doing something original!

And not to praise myself too much but I think I had some really creative ideas in there. I still what I did with Nazuna is very big-brained.

So while it may not have been the best written one, I think it really makes up on that with all the creative ideas and so I just had a lot of fun writing that ^^

Also maybe a curveball but I also really liked the yandere Aira headcanons I did, the ideas just kept coming while writing ^^

🍚 What genre do you have the toughest time writing?

Longer answer here but I´ll just state again that it´s probably comedy because it´s quite different from the horror I usually tend to write ^^

Oh probably more times than I would like to admit sknfs I think this mostly tends to happen with enstars fics but that might just be because I don´t think that fandom isn´t as big on here as others.

It´s actually kind of hard for me to pinpoint right now because my posts kind of blur together in my time after a long time has passed but I remember being disappointed by how badly this Riddle fic did back when I first posted it because it was (and probably still is) one of the longest fics I´ve ever written.

I can´t accurately say how well it holds up now (because I´m scared of finding a ton of mistakes now kmlsnf) but I do remember feeling a bit miffed back then.

Kuroha to Nijisuke: Kuroki Majo no Divertimento (Manga)

Cherry actually recommended this manga to me, and holy is it good. There's actually two parts to this manga, with Kuroha & Nijisuke, being a short prologue of this manga. The yandere and the male lead vaguely remind me of The Banished Villainess since they have the same qualities (both yanderes are "graceful", have a similar hairstyle and are of a sort of high status, where the two male leads are more rugged looking, strong and are very shy around the female lead), but the stories are very different from each other. This is one of those where I would read it for the story, and have the yandere as a bonus.

The story is about the two characters Kuroha and Nijisuke and their strange relationship with unluckiness and luckiness. Kuroha was born with extreme good luck, with the cost of having a monkey's paw effect -causing pain, suffering and bad luck to those around her, so much so that's she's dubbed a witch. Nijsuke on the other hand is the complete opposite. He's so unlucky as the universe wants him to die, but he's so strong that he's able to survive pretty much anything, from toxic smog to an entire truck ramming straight into him. He doesn't believe in luck whatsoever and believes that fate is in his own hands. Kuroha has the ability to see and converse with Shinigami, who deal with the dead souls of this town and are trying to take Nijusuke's soul and failing badly. It seems like Kuroha and Nijisuke's luck is causing a lot of the town to die, which leads to the Shinigami having more work to do. Kuroha is targeted by a medical group attempting to capture her and use her blood as a poison, and they hire the three Mitsugane sisters: Ai, the oldest and the one with the most experience in using science to get rid of body, Momo, the gyaru assassin and the youngest Midori, a huge and strong girl with a pure heart to get her. Meanwhile, the yandere, Kujinawa and his friend Benshima are trying to find a way to get rid of Nijusuke while protecting Kuroha. Kujinawa is able to see part of the Shinigami, meaning unlike Kuroha who seems them in their human form, he seems them in an abstract shape. All he knows is that when the shinigami are near someone, they die, and as a result of them being near Kuroha, he tries really hard to protect her using Benshima's help.Meanwhile, there are two killers, Kikuri, who is obsessed with the "art" of killing using the bodies to make morbid masterpieces and Shigari, a person who similar to Kujinawa can see the forms of Shinigamis and worships them through killing, believing that he is sacrificing to the Shinigami.

The story plot itself is really revolved around the pushing and pulling of the main two characters, Nujisuke and Kuroha, with different parties either wanting one dead or trying to use one's power. The dynamic of having a "lucky" person and an "unlucky" person is used to good effect in this story and a lot of the characters that are fighting for the two are connected with each other in one way or another. It can get a little convoluted since characters are introduced relatively fast, but its definitely a fun ride. It gets pretty bloody at times, which is surprising, but it makes sense as the entire story is about life and death, luck and unluckiness. Personally, I really do like all of the characters in the story as they all of their own motivations of doing what they're doing, from the CEO trying to gain Kuroha's blood to gain more poison, to the sisters working together to stay alive and even the two serial killers have reasons for killing. I think a lot of the characters are "unfortunate" in their own right, having had to deal with the situation that surrounds both Nujisuke and Kuroha and have to find different ways around the two just to get to where they need to be. It's really cool seeing how parts of the characters are connected to each other and the twist at the end was fun too, as there were hints to it initially. Both Nujisuke and Kuroha are great characters as well, with Nujisuke powering through the unlucky events through sheer willpower while also making his own fate, and Kuroha being cursed with her "good luck" and trying to live a better life with those around her. My favorite characters are probably the three sisters since they have a strong bond with each other and eventually even befriend Kuroha and Nujisuke. I like the tone of the story, having a good message while also having funny bits and action sprinkled in.

As for the yandere, Kujinawa, he doesn't really affect the story as much as other characters, at least, not in my eyes. The reason he liked Kuroha in the first place was that after he was able to see Shinigami, he fell into a sort of despair before seeing Kuroha being used by the Yakuza to gain money, he believed that the two were destined to fall together. For the most part in the story, he's responsible for saving/protecting Kuroha and the three girls from Shinigami, though he's also mistaken since Kuroha is extremely unlikely to die because of her good luck. The only major things he's really done are to save the girls from being killed by the serial killers and get them together in the building. Other than that, I do wish he had a more important role in the story, though it is noted that the story seems a bit rushed at the end, so it's possible that originally he was going to have more of a role, but he was sidelined so that the story could be finished. A pity considering he actually doesn't interact with Kuroha at all despite the fact that he's so in love with her. I wish the two had at least a moment together so we could see their interactions.

Still, though, I would highly recommend this manga if you like action, humor, and cute romance with tones of death. I really liked it, so thanks Cherry for recommending it to me!
