Who would read your diary?

Anon, I´m sorry to tell you that quite a few of them would at least sneak a peek at your diary if they had the opportunity to. Some are more shameless about it while others feel guilty about invading your privacy like this, but the thought of being able to know about your innermost thoughts proves too tantalizing to resist.

How do you feel about your current situation at Ensemble Square? Are you happy? Confused? Scared?

Did you happen to write about your hobbies or your likes and dislikes? That could prove the be very useful information!

Is there anyone in particular you wrote a lot about that could prove to be a problem for them? If so, what do you like about this person that they can´t provide you? They need to know so they can form a proper plan to win your over and in turn defeat the competition.

People that would think similarily to this include : Eichi, Ibara, Rei, Keito, Shu ( he wants to know your preferences when it comes to outfits he intends to design for you. There´s also the underlying fear that someone else might take your attention); Rinne but he won´t keep it a secret and is moreso focused on the rivals part than anything else; Natsume( would also like to scope out the competition out of jealousy, when he feels like you´re slowly slipping away from him and into the grasp of someone else), same for Ritsu ( abandonment issues go brrrr); Nazuna looks at your diary with a lot of guilt, but he just needs to know if you´re in any type of danger. Is anyone making you uncomfortable or bullying you? You know that he´s always there for you if you need help but lately you haven´t been answering all of his countless asks about how you´re doing and who you´ve been with.... He feels horrible about doing this, he knows that he´s invading your privacy by doing this but he just can´t help it. He needs to be sure that you´re safe and if you´re not going to tell him on your own then he needs to check. Otherwise he will just have to stick to trailing after you wherever you go. Would then return your diary to you, making some excuse as to where he found it ( he didn´t look at it! You can trust someone as reliable as Nazuna to tell the truth, right?) because he doesn´t want anyone else to take a look at it. None of the others have the same pure intentions as him, they can´t be trusted with it!

People that look into your diary to see if you said anything about them in particular. They need to know how you feel about them, they want to be reassured that you love them and prefer them over everyone else: Tori ( he´s hoping and expecting that you will praise him as he deserves but when his feelings of inferiority break through he needs the confirmation that you still think of him highly); Tsukasa ( he swears up and down that he would never do something like that, it´s not the right thing to do! But when it´s sitting right there on your desk, completely unattended, the curiosity wins over and he wants to hear that you like him); Mayoi ( with a lot of shame.He doesn´t deserve to hold something you have written in but the fear that you might be disgusted by him is eating away at him and so he goes to check what you really think about him at night, when you´re asleep); Mika ( I think he would also fit in the first category because he definitely is a stalker and wants to know every little thing about you, including who you are close to so he can potentially get rid of them if they get too dangerous. But I put him here because I feel like Mika as a yandere is less about planning out these grand schemes and moreso just very focused on you and what opinion you may have on him. Everything else doesn´t really matter to him); HiMERU ( at first he refuses to, seeing it as something that is unbecoming of the type of idol HiMERU is supposed to be. He would leave it alone most of the time and only picks it up in a panic when he fears that you might know the truth about HiMERU and his true self. Suddenly he´s scared that you might see through his act and that you won´t like the true “him”)

People that are just super curious and want to know all they can about you. There´s not any particular reason as to why they want to spy on you, they just see the opportunity and take it : Leo, Hiyori ( I feel like he could also fit into the former category. He fears being hated and he especially doesn´t want to be hated by you); Hinata, Wataru, Subaru, Hiiro ( he may just not be aware that it´s actually your diary at first and picks it up after you left it somewhere. Takes a look at it out of curiosity)

I´m undecided in what category to put them but they would definitely still read your diary: Izumi ( do I even need to explain? of course he would, that obsessed little stalker), Arashi ( I feel like she´s confident enough that she thinks she can win you over on her own but she still strikes me as the type to check. It´s all okay if it´s in the name of love, right?); Tsumugi also would imo. I can´t really properly explain why though? I feel like he would see your diary and just look at it as if it was the most natural thing in the world? There´s no particular reason as to why, he just feels like doing it. As literally stated before in a different post, Anzu would also read your diary if she ever found it. She both wants to know if any of the units have been bothering you so she can assign them some more work to keep them busy, but she also desperately needs to know that you love her. She´s really desperate for your attention due to the special connection you have. I mean at this point this is already 100% established canon skdns

The rest either wouldn´t look at your diary or I didn´t really know what to say about them or where exactly to place them. I think I´ve already typed more than enough here djnflfn

Holis, do you think Yandere atem / yami, tea and seto can go from platonic Yandere to a romantic one?

Oh yeah, I definitely think that's possible

I think it's especially possible for Atem/Yami as I see him as Demisexual, meaning that he only feels that sort of attraction after a certain level of emotional connection has been reached. Atem has a big heart and we saw in the original series that he considers many people to be his friends, so to me it actually makes sense that at first he's a platonic yandere. He just wants to protect his friend by any means necessary, don't you understand! But then the closer he gets to you, the more he protects you, the more...other feelings start to pop up and he starts to want more from you.

It's also likely with Tea/Anzu, I think with her it would be more that she has to get over her feelings for another person before she realizes she has more than platonic feelings for you. She's want your undivided no matter the relationship, because I can see yandere Tea as very jealous even over her friends. Then, once she gets over her feelings for someone else, her heart starts going doki doki for you!

Now Kaiba as a platonic yandere would probably be more like how he is with Yami/Yugi. He'd see you as someone to overtake, almost like a rival, someone he obsesses over but not in a romantic/sexual way...at least at first. Eventually those feelings could run deeper and he might start wanting to posses you in other ways.

Yandere!Seto Kaiba x Reader

Seto had never felt like this before. It was odd. And slightly annoying. He was too busy for silly crushes. So he chose to ignore it and push his crush on his classmate away. It didn’t work. 

It didn’t help that their desk was right next to his. Seto was forced to see them in the corner of his eye and hear their voice the days he attended school, which was often now since he had nothing big planned for his company for a while. His crush on them grew and soon, he didn’t mind. They were smart and Seto liked to look at them. 

(Name), he learned, was also friends with Yuugi. Who he found very annoying. It couldn’t be helped, everyone had their faults. But did they really have to be friends with Yuugi and co. of all people? It was very frustrating and even more so that he couldn’t do anything about it. Seto liked that (Name) was loyal and kind, but this really wasn’t helping him.

So as his obsession grew, he did his damndest to become their friend. Naturally, it worked. He grits his teeth, pretends to be friendly to Yuugi, Jounouchi, and Anzu, and sits with them at lunch. No one suspects that he isn’t actually all their friends and if he can tune them out, it’s fine. Talking to (Name) is the best part of his day. And one day, he’ll have that every day. He just needed to know more about them.

The private investigators he hired were very useful. The information they gave him fueled his fantasies and he came up with plan after plan to make (Name) his. The first step of the plan was to get rid of the group. (Name) was his, after all. They were his to love, and they were going to love him back. Seto was sure of it.

I'm pretty much inlove with Self aware enstars,and I was thinking about Idol! Player who got in enstars universe.

They didn't know how they got here but the only thing they know is that they need to get out of ensemble square. While running around the player finds Anzu. And Anzu knows about the player being an idol(meanwhile the others have just a vague idea). She excited wanted to help the reader (and by help I mean spending time with them more)

Or when the characters find out about the player being an idol definitely would try give them the popularity they deserve (maybe even fight for the player being member in the units or some of the units doing a collaboration with the player)

Idol! Reader enters the Yandere Self-aware Ensemble Stars AU and meets Anzu, who wants to be their producer

Yes, I imagine every player would be really confused if they somehow got pulled into the world of a game jdfkf Like you´re so disoriented with everything going on around you and then you meet Anzu, who is just sooo excited to see you! And like, all you want to do is leave and get away as soon as possible but how can you just push her away like that when she´s being so nice to you?

Anzu knows about the player being an idol because they have the closest bond, she can hear the player´s thoughts when they are possessing her so it´s very likely that you may have thought once or twice about relating to some of the stuff happening in the story and it just made her pause for a bit. But honestly, it just makes sense that you´re someone super talented that a lot of people look up to and love!

Even if the other characters learn about you being an idol in their world, Anzu still has a major advantage over them because she´s an actual producer that is supposed to help idols grow. It´s only natural that she´d be the one to spend the most time with you then, right? You want to get really famous in this world too, right? It´s what you deserve so why don´t you just agree to her being your personal and only producer? Anzu is more than ready to drop all other units she is producing just so she can completely focus on you alone, the only one that truly matters in her eyes. She´s had lots of experience with leading even unknown units like Trickstar to success and she´s the one you know best out of everyone here. Surely you can trust her to only want your best?

She´s kind of unsure on how to go about this though. You deserve to have your immense talents recognized and admired, but at the same time she doesn´t want to think about so many people looking at you, some fans are bound to develop celebrity crushes on you and she really doesn´t like the thought of that. She doesn´t want to share you at all, which is why she also rejects the many many proposals she gets from other units to collab with you. No, they´re not going to pester you as long as she is here. You´ll just have to trust that dear Anzu only has your best interests at heart and surely isn´t flaunting her special privilege to anyone that will listen

And yes of course, once the other idols find out about you being an idol as well, they´ll want to hear you sing and perform but preferebly just for them. You deserve to be world famous but the more possessive ones hate the idea of so many people looking at you. There will most definitely be some attempts to make you join one of the existing units though, they´re all trying even harder to leave a good impression on you in this very brutal competition. They´re willing to throw away the entire concept of their unit to better suit your tastes and preferences. It´s like a second war has broken out with just how much the units are fighting and are trying to throw each other under the bus just for a chance to make you choose them over the others. Doesn´t matter if you would actually prefer performing solo, they´ll still try everything they can to win you over.

I guess you can count yourself lucky for once that Anzu keeps meddling with your affairs, she turns down every offer the gets from the others and doesn´t falter no matter how they may try to pressure her. Her love for you is too strong to feed you to those wolves <3

it boils down to the fact that (if we’re going with this storyline) before the reader got transported or smth, they def used to take over anzus body as some vessel of sorts. but once the reader is there, anzu is gonna take full advantage of that. she’s the closest to the reader 100% and it’d be this weird parasitic relationship: “i don’t just know you, you’re a part of me”

You´re definitely right about that! Anzu is one of the most obsessed characters in the self-aware AU, no doubt about it. It stems from the fact that when she first entered Yumenosaki, everything was so confusing and new. She somehow got into the producer course as the first and only student ever so of course she´s very intimidated. But in her time of need, you appeared and took her body as a vessel to enforce your will. It should have been frightening, to have your body taken over like that, but strangely enough Anzu felt comforted when you entered her body. She can feel your presence, even if she can´t see you, there´s this warm and tingling feeling that spreads all over her body.

She´s not afraid when her body starts moving on it´s own or when she says things she didn´t mean to say. Instead, Anzu is very grateful for your help, she would be completely lost without you! She quickly gets used to this and doesn´t want you to leave her anymore.

When you finally enter her world, Anzu is absolutely ecstatic and immediately abandons all of her work to go and look for you. It´s pretty creepy how she clings to you, not wanting you to ever leave her side again now that you´re finally here and she can feel your real body pressed against her own. Oh, this feels even better than simply being possessed by you! She can actually touch your skin instead of only feeling your aura inside of her.

Please let her touch you a lot to make up for the time when you had to take a break from the game, okay? She really missed you whenever you had to leave her!

That being said, Anzu does miss the feeling of you completely being a part of her very being. Don´t get her wrong, she loves having you next to her! But that´s still not the same thing. She can´t exactly make you possess her again now that you have a physical form here, so she tries to look for the next back thing to make her whole again.

Now she steals your half-eaten meals and eats the rest of it with a lovesick smile on her face, happy that she can have a part of you inside of her again. Maybe if she´s lucky she can even retrieve your used cuttlery from the dishwasher before it´s been washed <3

I just want to say that I love your imagine about self aware enstar and the one where we enter Ensemble stars was Terrifiying if you think about it. First there's language barrier issue where you don't understand Japanese sure they can speak English but the fact they can understand each other limit your changes to escape also the unit I feel will get the short stick will probably be Eden if we transport in their academy era. Best situation will probably if we meet Anzu first when we transport to their world,she let us stay in her apartment after some time because she doesn't want to stray too long from you she'll will invite us to ES pretending as her assistant or protégé. The characters gonna be confuse seeing Anzu so clingy with this new assistance until some of them find out our identity then all hell break lose. I think the one that probably gonna find out first is trikstars since they're close with her and since they're nice too they probably gonna help us escape, the second would be one of the eccentric five they're gonna be more selfish and probably try to steal us from anzu discreetly but not like anzu gonna let it happen. In the end Anzu is the one with you since the first time you install the game she surely help you when you ask her help to escape right?

Language barriers, Eden,  meeting Anzu first, her “support” in trying to keep us hidden away from the others, and that eventually backfiring in the Yandere self-aware enstars Au!

Alright, so first let´s start with the issue of languages. If the player can speak Japanese then they obviously have an advantage over those that cannot. While yes, the characters will try to speak a language you yourself speak so you can actually interact with them, some of them might try to hide certain things from you.

So if you´re someone that can´t speak Japanese and somehow got pulled into the world of Ensemble stars, you should definitely be a bit concerned. I don´t think all of them would try to take advantage of the language barrier as most of them are just happy to have you with them and don´t see any reason to try and deceive you ( Nazuna, Kaoru, Chiaki, Hiiro,...) Who are they to think they could treat you like that? They´re just happy that you even decided to grace them with your presence and that you can tolerate them long enough to have a conversation with them! ( Mika, Mayoi,....)

But some are more shrewd than others. Yes, they are obviously happy now that you are within their reach and they can talk to you and be close to you without that pesky screen between you and them, but they still aren´t completely content with their situation. They aren´t quite as close to you as they wish they could be and they see a serious problem in how the others cling to you so desperately, leaving them almost no chance to be alone with you, so they may try to talk to the others in Japanese to give them some sort of excuse as to why they have to be somewhere else right now, so they will leave you alone. It´s not hurting anyone if they can have you for themselves a bit, right? ( Natsume, Ritsu, Izumi, Anzu,..)

And then there´s also always the option that you might try to run away from them one day. While everyone else is happy, they´re carefully observing you and your every reaction, and they can see that you aren´t very happy about the current circumstances. So they´re trying to manipulate things behind the scenes to make sure that you aren´t going to leave anytime soon. They´re bribing security to not let you leave, they´re posting things you can´t understand on their social media, cheerfully declaring to their fans that you´ll be staying with them now and to expect to see you with them from now on.

They´re trying to put down all the groundwork to ensure that you won’t be able to flee without random fans on the street recognizing you and posting about your whereabouts online because they´re excited to meet someone affiliated with their favorite idols, which would then let them know where you went. They have to make sure they can find their darling again if you decide to run away, right? And you don´t need to know that they´re taking all of these precautions in secret. You won´t have to worry about it anyway if you just decide to stay with them willingly <3 ( Eichi, Ibara, Keito, Rei, Rinne but I feel like he might not try to hide it either)

Putting a line here to try and separate the different ideas without putting a bunch of space there kjnflsfb moving on!

Now that you mention it, yeah, Eden would probably have a pretty bad time if you happened to get into the ensemble stars world during enstars! , the academy phase. Since you take over for Anzu while you´re playing the game, I feel like it´s very likely that the game itself will make it so that you will be attending Yumenosaki yourself because that´s where most of the idols are.

Poor Eden is in a completely different school and so for a while, they won´t even know that you´re here now. When they find out they´re obviously pretty distraught and disappointed that you didn´t join their school instead. Why should those other idols get to spend so much time with you? Eden was introduced pretty late into the main story so they got less time with you than the others anyway, which they were already upset about.

And now you´re telling them the others got to spend several weeks or months right by your side while they remained unaware? They gotta get over there asap. You better believe they´re even more excited for the upcoming live with Trickstar because it means they can finally get a glance of you, their lovely producer that was unfairly stolen from them.

They´re going to give Trickstar even worse of a time just because they´re jealous

And last but not least, let´s get back to Anzu. I´m actually kind of happy that you guys want to read more about her because usually the player characters aren´t very well liked so I guess that means I must be doing something right after all ^^

I think the scenario you thought of is very likely to happen! If Anzu was the first person you met, you would probably be safe for a good while because she´s so glad to see you and wants you to be safe and sound so she would absolutely let you stay at her apartment! The thought of coming home to you after work is very domestic and it makes her swoon just thinking about it. And back there no one else is going to find out about you and try to steal you away from her! She knows well enough how crazy most of the other characters are about you so the moment they would find out about you, they wouldn´t leave your side, and then she couldn´t have you all for herself anymore.

So she holds out for a while and just lets you spend your days in her apartment. Anzu tells you over and over that you shouldn´t go outside because it would be troublesome and dangerous if someone happened to pass by and somehow recognized you. And you listen, of course, you´re so confused and scared by this whole situation of suddenly being in the world of a mobile game you loved to play, that you don´t dare to defy the one person that is looking out for you. So you stay and try to not let the boredom bother you too much. I honestly don´t think there´s a lot in Anzu´s room you could use for entertainment because she spends most of her time working and so her room is probably pretty barren.

This works fine for a few days but soon, both of you grow restless. You because you´re bored just staying inside doing nothing, Anzu because she can´t handle being away from you for so long. She keeps zoning out during work, her thoughts circling back to you, thinking about what you might be doing right now and if you´re safe while she´s gone. All she can think about is that she wants to go home already and have you in her arms, it´s so difficult to stay focused and it´s pretty noticeable honestly. Several people have commented on the fact that the producer seems to keep spacing out recently.

So despite knowing better, she asks you to tag along with her when she starts missing you too much. She tells everyone that comments on you, that you are her assistant and that you will be accompanying her for some time now. Of course, some people accept this more easily than others. Some just take it at face value while others highly question this. Why is it that Anzu suddenly has an assistant when she didn´t need one all this time or didn´t even mention you before? Ibara is the head of Cospro, why does he not know about this?? Things just don´t really add up and everyone starts wondering where you suddenly came from and why the producer seems to be so fond of you.

Anzu meanwhile knows that this is a huge risk but she can´t seem to care too much now that you´re with her all the time and she doesn´t have to be apart from you anymore. Her mood immediately brightens the first day she brings you along, positively beaming and with a spring in her step as she walks through ES. She´s always keeping you close, both to keep an eye on you to make sure you don´t wander off too far and just because she likes being close to you, her perfect darling.

She might throw herself into even more work though because she wants to impress you with how hard-working and reliable she is, please send help

Trickstar knows her best and so they will certainly notice the difference in her usual behavior. They´re stunned at first when they find out that the player they´ve been looking up to for so long is actually you and they´re really, really excited to have you with them!! But it doesn´t take long for them to find out that you might be in danger because they´ve seen how intensely some of the other idols feel for you.

Makoto shivers when he thinks about how Izumi has been talking about you nonstop, he knows what it´s like to be his target and he honestly fears for you.

Mao is struggling to keep this a secret from Ritsu, who can read him like a book and just knows that something is up.

Subaru is so excited that he almost spills the beans several times and is only stopped by Hokuto, who awkwardly tries to make up something on the spot to explain away what the other was about to say.

It´s not looking too good though and eventually, the secret is revealed and it´s like a shockwave goes through ES as everyone finds out.

You bet Eichi, Wataru and Ibara are some of the first ones to know, and honestly at that point all you can think about needing to escape.

Trickstar is panicking, they all really love you and wish you could be with them but they see just how obsessed everyone else is and just fear for your safety so they try to help you the best they can with your escape. It definitely won´t be easy though, it´s not like the four of them can just hold off 40+ idols on their own

So in the end, you beg Anzu for help, saying that you need to get away from all of your pursuers. Surely she will help you, she´s been with you for so long now!

And she will help with hiding you indeed. How about you move back into her apartment, permanently? She´ll find a way to make sure no one is going to bother you again. You trust her, don´t you? She´ll keep you nice and safe in the comforts of your shared home

The characters being jealous because you show clear favoritism toward Anzu

So very obviously, Anzu is going to be very happy that you favor her. You two share a special connection that no one else can compete with, so from her side you always were the most important person to her, but now she has the confirmation that you feel the same for her! It looks like all of her hard work of impressing you with her diligence has paid off! You can bet that she´s more motivated than ever when she does her work as a producer, knowing that her darling likes her more than anyone else. Hah, she can´t stop smiling and there´s a blush on her face whenever she thinks about it ( which is always, tbh).

Everyone knows Anzu as very modest but she´s actually very smug about being your favorite and she will mention it every chance she gets, finding it funny how jealous the idols get every time.

The others of course are in shambles. Trickstar is the most understanding one because they´ve been with Anzu longer than any other unit and they´re also the most normal ones in this AU. They understand why you may feel that way and they´re happy for her but deep down they´re still disappointed.

(Not going to mention every character´s reaction to this because that would be a huge amount of work, just a few that randomly came to mind)

Tsukasa is moping 100% of the time. Like yes, he understands why you may like Anzu ( I mean have you seen how much of a simp he is in-game), but since the day he learned that the person that was with him the entire time was actually you and not Anzu, he´s been so in love with you. And he´s tried so hard to try and court you even through the screen, he´s been nothing but a perfect gentleman, and yet he was beaten. Probably cries about it ngl, he´s so frustrated and kind of throws a tantrum when you aren´t there to see it

Speaking of tantrums! Tori is soooo not happy about this development. You´re supposed to like him the most! He´s the cutest idol in the world and he´s tried to make you feel extra special by giving you cute nicknames but that didn´t seem to work somehow? He´s very upset and he´s not going to hide it, even from you. You can expect him to make some snide comments about the producer when on the home screen. If you´re already in their world then he will still try to invite you over whenever you can and have tea parties with you, of course without Anzu, so he can try to monopolize your time. He´s going to make you see that he´s the best option here!

Izumi is very very pissy and moody, even more so than usual once he finds out about this. You like Anzu the most, the one person you didn´t even get to really talk to when you were playing the game? When he, a literal model, was right there and ready to give you some attention? Are you stupid or something? He definitely won´t just sit by and accept this, you know. He´s picky when it comes to choosing his partner and he´s already made the choice that you are the one for him. Who do you think you are, trying to deny him like that? He´s going to make sure that you come to your senses soon enough. If not, there´s always the option of kidnapping you in case you´re close <3

Mika is honestly just crying. He knows that he´s not good enough, he knows that he´s just a useless doll and could never hope to be on the same level as you, but against all odds, he still held onto a small sliver of hope that you may once consider him worthy of your love. He´s spent the last few months or even years, worshipping your very being and loving you from afar and now he finds out that you prefer Anzu over him or even Shu. He tries to accept it because it´s your will and he could never dare to defy you when you´re always right, but he´s so upset. If only he had done more, if only he had served you a bit better, maybe then you might have shown him mercy and chosen him. But that didn´t happen. How could he be so foolish to think that he deserves your love? He´s nothing without you, of no use at all! Mika might grow back to showing distaste for Anzu but this time it´s not because of Shu. No, he hates her for taking you away when he hadn´t even had enough time to improve himself so you could accept him. She´s not worthy of being with you either, you know?

Shu huffs and utters a snide remark when Anzu brags to him about being your favorite, but as soon as she leaves the room he just kind of breaks down. Not even Mika could console him right now, not that his unit mate is in an appropriate mental state himself. Shu just shuts himself in his room for days on end, no one even seeing his face once the entire time. He tries to throw himself into his work, sewing clothes until his fingers bleed but it´s not enough to fill the hole that has made its way into his heart. The creations that he made exactly to your liking, they weren´t enough. He still hasn´t grown enough as an artist to impress you and so his work is useless. In his desperation, he would rip apart the outfits he had designed previously. What did it matter if you didn´t like them anyway? He had to be better, he had to work hard to win back your favor from that devious woman.
