Hello... I made a thingy!!
this took so god damn long it's embarrassing, like bro...
it's a photo of the club leaders!! I couldn't find the pose I wanted to use for Kaga... you NEED to ignore that. I also gave the council members different heights because I wanted Shiromi to clearly be the shortest in the photo. Tsuruzo looks VERY out of character, shut up about that I couldn't find a pose that worked for him...
And I just wanted to point them out cause they mean so much to me... like I love them so much
Also the council!! they mean so much to me it's not even funny. If you couldn't tell, I gave them longer skirts as well xD
(all of this was made with Pose Mode from the easter eggs menu :3)

The distribution of students by class (This is not my idea btw).
I had the idea for a long time to translate into English and post this post, but for some reason I thought about it for a long time. In general, this idea is not really mine, I was inspired to do it by one person (I admire they headcanons, heheh), however, I don't know how to mark them on the blog-...I'm sorry.🥹
So, I hope I haven't fucked up anywhere and the characters don't repeat themselves anywhere, or there are no undesirable logical mistakes, but here's how I distributed the students into classes:
(15) Class 1-1: Ayano Aishi, Seyo Akanishi, Tsuruzo Yamazaki, Shin Higaku, Ryuto Ippongo, Pippi Osu, Beruma Dinkuri, Borupen Saishiki, Otohiko Meichi, Iruka Dorufino, Hoshiko Mizudori, Tsubaki Uesugi, Horuda Puresu, Ajia Ashitomi, Homu Kurusu.
(15) Class 1-2: Chojo Tekina, Hanako Yamada, Shiromi Torayoshi, Mantaro Sashimasu, Yaku Zaishi, Juku Ren, Tokuko Kitagawa, Midori Gurin, Kokoro Momoiro, Supana Churu, Dairoku Surikizu, Kokuma Jutsu, Sumire Suzuki, Efude Nurimono, Beruma Dinkuri.
(15) Class 2-1: Osana Najimi, Shozo Kurosawa, Enpitsu Byoga, Beshi Takamine, Sakura Hagiwara, Himari Fujita, Kyuji Konagawa, Shoku Tsuburaya, Riku Soma, Maka Tansei, Mina Rai, Hokuto Furikizu, Gaku Hikitsuri, Dora Tamamoto, Hana Daidayama.
(15) Class 2-2: Kizana Sunobu, Oka Ryuto, Asu Rito, Megami Saiko, Inkyu Basu, Hazu Kashibuchi, Kenko Sukoyaka, Saki Miyu, Shima Shiya, Miyuji Shan, Hayanari Tsumeato, Rojasu Norubiru, Sukubi Dubidu, Dafuni Bureiku, Kaga Kusha.
(15) Class 3-1: Amai Odayaka, Osoro Shidesu, Raibaru Fumetsu, Mai Waifu, Geiju Tsuka, Budo Masuta, Gita Yamahato, Horo Guramu, Itachi Zametora, Hojiro Zameshiro, Uekiya Engeika, Umeji Kizuguchi, Kashiko Murasaki, Akane Toriyasu, Aoi Ryugoku.
(13) Class 3-2: Taro Yamada, Sakyu Basu, Toga Tabara, Daku Atsu, Gema Takagaki, Kokona Haruka, Kiba Kawaito, Fureddo Jonzu, Meka Nikaru, Unagi Denkashiza, Kuu Dere, Musume Ronshaku, Kuroko Kamenaga.
I've been redoing this list a lot, but I've made it roughly the way I wanted it to be. It's much nicer to the eye when all the students in the classes are distributed not like in the game (even if all the students in the game are assigned to classes in a more convenient way for the players, I still don't like it...), but in their own way...
In the end, I just want to add that thanks to this person, what inspires me and sharing their wonderful story!🩵 (@yansimstorythatiwillnotworkon ...I kind of figured out how it works, yeah).

One Quick Note
I've changed the students' classes. This, amongst other topics are just things I changed for the sake of it. Some of these new seating arrangements help with the plot of the story, and some others are just changed for no particular reason.
I guess a more important reason would be that it reflects what age I think some of the characters would be. (Typically ranging from 16-18.) Here is the list of the students (excluding OCs in order to keep it to students the fandom will recognize, of course). Also, this doesn't affect seating arrangements:
1-1: Kyuji Konagawa, Otohiko Meichi, Seiyo Akanishi, Chojo Tekina, Efude Nuriomono, Dora Tamamoto, Juku Ren, Iruka Dorufino, Sumire Suzuki, Tsubaki Uesugi, Ryuto Ippongo, Pippi Osu, Hoshiko Mizudori, Shiromi Torayoshi
1-2: Hanako Yamada, Horuda Puresu, Hazu Kashibuchi, Kokuma Jutsu, Borupen Saishiki, Shima Shiya, Beruma Dinkuri, Yaku Zaishi, Mantaro Sashimasu, Himari Fujita, Mai Waifu, Kokoro Momoiro
2-1: Ayano Aishi, Osana Najimi, Kuu Dere, Raibaru Fumetsu, Shozo Kurosawa, Kokona Haruka, Enpitsu Byoga, Beshi Takamine, Sukubi Dubidu, Homu Kurusu, Midori Gurin, Gaku Hikitsuri, Hayanari Tsumeato, Musume Ronshaku, Hana Daidaiyama
2-2: Asu Rito, Megami Saikou, Ajia Ashitomi, Saki Miyu, Riku Soma, Shin Higaku, Maka Tansei, Miyuji Shan, Rojasu Norubiru, Dafuni Bureiku, Hojiro Zameshiro, Uekiya Engeika, Umeji Kizuguchi, Akane Toriyasu
3-1: Oka Ruto, Osoro Shidesu, Sakyu Basu, Inkyu Basu, Kenko Sukayaka, Tsuruzo Yamazaki, Tokuko Kitagawa, Supana Churu, Gita Yamahato, Sho Kunin, Mina Rai, Horo Guramu, Unagi Denkashiza, Hokuto Furukizu, Dairoku Surikizu, Kashiko Murasaki, Aoi Ryugoku
3-2: Taro Yamada, Amai Odayaka, Kizana Sunobu, Toga Tabara, Shoku Tsubaraya, Daku Atsu, Geiju Tsuka, Kiba Kawaito, Budo Masuta, Furredo Jonzu, Kaga Kusha, Meka Nikaru, Itachi Zametora, Sakura Hagiwara, Gema Taku, Kuroko Kamenaga
Also, since I love adding pictures, please enjoy these uniform redesign drafts. I personally think it doesn't fit Yandere Simulator's current time, but I digress. Feedback is appreciated, as per usual.

A Terrified Teacher At Ghoul School Episode 10 Review - School Camp Exam
Last week was a mini-arc adaptation and now this week’s episode is also a mini-arc adaptation. I feel like they’re trying to get to the characters that had their voice actors revealed before the first half of the anime ends. What I mean is that there are two characters who hadn’t have a speaking role despite their voice actors being revealed with the first finally having a speaking role (Fuji) and the second will probably be introduced either next week or the week after.
This episode is mainly about Class 2-3 going on a school camp. However, the camp is also the students’ spookology class final exam for the semester. That’s why Hatanaka is there as he’s in charge of the course, so he’s like a proctor as well. I kind of like that the exam is essentially something relating to physical activity and that they have to solve an escape room-like situation with vague hints about the key. Not all students participate as some are asleep. Basically, the setup is that if the students that are awake can solve the mystery of who has the key to leave the building, the class passes; if they don’t, they have to be stuck doing remedial classes for the first half of summer break. However, it’s not an easy task as Hatanaka and Miki got the help of various Hyakki Academy alumni—this means that all the youkai the class encountered were all school alumni.
For this episode, one of the more obscure students gets his spotlight: Touya Fuji. He’s a guy is often seen wearing the girl’s uniform as he likes crossdressing. He’s a yuki-onna, but male (yuki-otoko is the Japanese term for the abominable snowman, apparently). While he looks beautiful, he’s a bit hot-tempered and can be foul-mouthed, but he’s a good kid. His ice powers are super handy. The anime actually omits this, but he dreams of opening up a drag queen bar and wants to recruit Miki. But yeah, Fuji is one of my favorite characters because he’s confident and sassy despite his demure appearance. He doesn’t get much screen time later on, but there’s actually one chapter I hope they’ll adapt which involves him and another obscure classmate—they have the cutest relationship ever.
Oh, by the way, Fuji’s voice actor is a rookie named Saku Hyuga. If you check his instagram page (which you can click here), you can see from his pictures that he’s a crossdresser like Fuji—a perfect match in a sense. I also really like Hyuga’s voice; it’s a perfect mix of gender ambiguous but still convincingly male. I feel like he has potential to be big if he manages to get good roles. He could easily be the new gen Shouta Aoi and Ayumu Murase in terms of voice that can cause gender confusion.
I also like the other segments of this episode like Haruaki gushing over the ghost girl that he can only see, the cute little HijiBeni moment, and Akira being a freak like he always is. Though, my favorite part was the part with Mame’s group and how they were trying to solve who the real Yanagida is; while they do solve the mystery, they still get kaboomed by his chemicals. No one ever wins when they’re with Yanagida. I also like that small detail of Haruaki having his own cell at the police station. Haha.
Speaking of police, another new character is introduced, Yamazaki, the police officer. While he did appear in Episode 3, this is where he has the most screen time. He’s a doppelgänger, meaning that he can transform to whoever he wants. It seems like an interesting ability to have as a cop. He’s voiced by Tomoaki Maeno, another prominent voice actor.
This was a fun episode in all honesty. I wonder what sort of storyline they’ll show next as most of the chapters in Yohaji are episodic unless they’re part of an arc. It’s surprising that we’re already at the double-digits in terms of episode count. I feel like they’ll introduce another prominent character next week just so they can finally have all of the announced voice actors appear in the first half, like I mentioned. I wonder if they’ll change the opening for the second half… What are your thoughts on this episode?

[door opening followed by footsteps]
Numen: “Sorry that I’m late. I was… collecting my thoughts.”
Numen: “Hm?”
Emari: “Hm…”
Numen: “Hello….?”
Emari: “Hmm…..”
Numen: “Hello the-”
Emari: “Heya!”
Numen: “Woah!”
Emari: “Oh! Did I scare you, dear?”
Numen: “I-i mean, kind of?”
Emari: “Oh dear! I’m truly sorry!”
Numen: “Don’t worry about it, it was just… Unexpected.”
Emari: “And why was that?”
Numen: “Um… You were just standing there, I didn’t expect you to move.”
Emari: “Oh, sorry about that. I was just…. Thinking.”
Numen: Thinking? About what?”
Emari: “About how to comfort you.”
Numen: “Huh?”
Emari: “It’s just that… You looked pretty distressed when you walked in. I figured something must have happened back when you went to talk to Rinshou-san.”
Numen: “Woah… How did you arrive at that conclusion?”
Emari: “You were pretty reserved when you first walked in. You were looking at the ground while holding your head as well. I think it’s natural to conclude that you were tired in some way.”
Numen: “Wha- … You are really observant, you know?”
Emari: “Is that so… Thank you, I guess! So… Do you want to talk about it?”
Numen: “… Not really.”
Emari: “I understand… You want to change the topic, now?”
Numen: “Yeah…”
Emari: “So… Do you want to do some kind of introduction?”
Numen: “Oh! That would be great! Let me start then. So… My name is Numen, I’m 14 years old, and I’m the Angel of this place, it’s nice to meet you!”
Emari: “What a cute name you have, dear! And you’re some kind of Angel, too?! You just keep getting better and better!”
Numen: “Thank you! I guess…?”
Emari: “Let’s see…”
Numen: “Hm? You’re thinking again…?”
Emari: “Can I call you… Ann-chan?”
Numen: “A-ann…?”
Emari: “It’s a nickname! It’s a combination of the word angel’s ‘an’ and the initial of your name! Did you like it?”
Numen: “… Yeah! I think it suits me!”
Emari: “That’s great to hear, dear! I give nicknames to everyone that I know!”
Numen: “That seems really thoughtful of you!”
Emari: “Thanks! I put a lot of effort into it!”
Numen: “So… I think you should introduce yourself now.”
Emari: “Oh, right. So… My name’s Emari Yamazaki! I’m 17 years old, and I’m currently a high school student! Is there anything else you would like to know?”
Numen: “It’s nice to meet you, Yamazaki-san!”
Emari: “Oh please, dear, you already said that. And also, just call me Emari, okay?”
Numen: “Oh, fine then. So… I would like to ask you something, Emari. Something that I should have asked Aoi, too.”
Emari: “Oh? What is it, dear?”
Numen: How’s your relationships with the rest of the souls been so far?”
Emari: “Oh! I think I’m getting along with basically everyone!”
Emari: “Everybody is pretty fun and nice to be around!”
Numen: “Is that so? I’m glad to hear that! Can you list off some examples?”
Emari: “Okidoki! So, I mostly hangout with Ruru-kun and Aka-chan since they are the nicest ones here!”
Numen: “I suppose that’s Haru and Akari.”
Emari: “Yep yep! Ruru-kun is easy to talk to and seems to enjoy any kind of company!”
Numen: “… Huh?”
Emari: “Aka-chan is just so sweet and bubbly that just being next to her makes me smile! But it breaks my heart that a girl like her died so young…”
Numen: “I know, it’s tragic…. But that’s what Elysium is here for, to give people like her Salvation.”
Emari: “… What?”
Emari: “… Um… Anyways… I also like hanging out with Syo-san! But he can be kind of creepy, sometimes…”
Emari: “I also get along with Ki-kun and Suke-san! Ki-kun is a good guy, he just needs some more self-confidence. And Suke-san is a pretty good guy, so he’s easy to talk to as well.”
Emari: “But when it comes to the other four… Things aren’t going very smoothly. Lo-san is very hard to understand, so I can’t really get along with her. I barely got any chances to talk to Saki-chan, she seems to be isolating herself. Reika-san tells me to go away anytime I try to talk to her, but something seems off about her too… And Rinshou-san…. He doesn’t seem to like me.”
Numen: “Rinshou-san… Why is he the only one you refer to by his last name?”
Emari: “…. He asked me to.”
Numen: “I see…”
Emari: “That’s pretty much it.”
Numen: “Okay…. Thanks for telling me.”
Emari: “Now that I answered your question, it’s only fair that I get to ask you a question too, right?”
Numen: “Hm… I don’t see why not, go ahead.”
Emari: “Great! So, Ann-chan. What kind of people do you like?”
Numen: “… Huh? What do you mean?”
Emari: “Like…. What kind of people do you like to be around? People that you would like to consider friends.”
Numen: “Oh, um… Let me think for a bit.”
Emari: “No pressure, take your time.”
Numen: “I like…. To be around carefree people. People who believe everything will be okay in the end, people who don’t struggle to feel relaxed. They are able to really make me feel at ease, like there’s truly nothing to fear.”
Emari: “…. I see.”
Numen: “So, Emari, I got one more question for yo-”
[bell rings]
Emari: “Hm? What’s that?”
Numen: “Oh, it’s already over?”
Emari: “What? Aw…. What a shame, I was enjoying talking to you.”
Numen: “Me too. But it has to end now. But I do have one more question.”
Emari: “Oh? Ask away.”
Numen: “What do you think about the voting system?”
Emari: “Hmm…. To be honest, I don’t really care.”
Numen: “What?”
Emari: “I feel like as long as you are the one choosing, everything will be okay in the end.”
Numen: “…. Wait…”
Emari: “Is something the matter, Ann-chan?”
Numen: “…. Forget it. Now, Soul N.02, Emari Yamazaki, come, and sing your life!”

Last week was utter hell, with a new class, a new schedule, and my sleep going out of whack. I'm still trying to readjust, and let me explain why I'm mentioning all of this. Almost nothing would have motivated me to get out of my zone and type this post except for Frieren. Frieren is one of my favorite manga series. If you've talked to me about anime/manga before, you would know this. So, ever since it was announced, it has been one of my most anticipated series. To add to that, Keiichirou Saitou was announced as the director. He's a great example of an upcoming new-gen director who has excelled in everything he's been a part of. From the beautiful and abstract EDs he created for The Executioner and Her Way of Life or Boogiepop, to the mesmerizing, dreamlike episodes he directed for Sonny Boy, and the expressive, now very popular Bocchi the Rock. He was a perfect choice as a director for a series like this, and let me tell you, he delivered fully.
Just from a quick glance, you can see how the show looks. Everything is eye-catching, making it almost hard to focus on one particular element because they all just look so good, and no, it's not just the chromatic aberration causing the lack of focus. The various departments responsible for compositing, the background, and the overall color design have done an outstanding job, creating a beautiful and cohesive piece of art. Seeing someone you might consider a less experienced director pulling off such a complete and harmonious experience is incredible. In terms of design, the whole show is aesthetically pleasing. It's not the experimental work you saw in Sonny Boy; it's going in a totally different direction, like a beautiful painting that should be framed on a wall.
It works very well when paired with, you know, how Frieren is as a story. The fantasy world they are in isn't an extremely unique one. You've seen it before; it's fairly typical in that sense. But that's not truly the point. The main focus is showing the day-to-day or year-to-year life of this immortal elf girl, Frieren, and how she views time, how she remembers her past. It's not an incredibly grand adventure, but with the small lens we have on these characters, it feels like a cherished moment, something that should be captured in a photo or painting. It's beautiful in a very simple way. It's not a series made for extremely large moments, I think Frieren has always been focused on a simpler view of life, much like a painting. The smaller details of such a straightforward approach are highlighted so well. The trees in the environment, the squirrels just moving around—there's so much life in each scene. It really all comes together for me like a piece of art.
The consistency lasts through all four episodes, and the staff distribution also seems fairly good, so I expect this to continue throughout the two cours. The pacing itself is perfect. I've really enjoyed how the story has been adapted to animation so far. I believe that nowadays, many anime series have fallen into the pitfalls of adapting things too quickly to capture the interest of newer viewers early on. However, the series composition for Frieren here is excellent.
This writeup might have been shorter than most people were expecting considering how amazing the anime adaptation is and how much I love the source material, but what can really be said about except just praising? I feel like even if you don't like the source material, the anime's execution is almost undeniably good. Additionally, as I said this past week has not been kind to me so my energy is a bit drained, at first I was planning to be more specific in my write up and make points more adhering to the specifics of each episode, but I didn't really have time for that. However, I will do my best to cover every Frieren episode weekly from now on. Make no mistake this is going to be my favorite series from this year.

Over the past few years, U.S. television fans have "overcome the one-inch barrier of subtitles" and discovered the wide world of international TV, thanks in no small part to Netflix. According to the streaming giant, more and more U.S. subscribers are watching foreign series each year, with Korean, Spanish, and Japanese shows being the most popular. 2024 was a huge year for Japanophiles, between Shōgun's awards dominance and everyone you know planning a trip to Tokyo.Excellent shows and movies have been coming out of Japan for decades, from thrilling anime series and action films to engrossing reality shows and everything Studio Ghibli. Over its episodes, the cast members found deep friendships and adorable romances, including one still going strong over a year after filming. Make sure to catch up on the show before the highly-anticipated second season.WATCH NOW'Burn the House Down' (2023)(Image credit: Netflix)13 years ago, Anzu Murata's (Mei Nagano) family fell apart when her mother was accused of burning down their childhood home. Their parents eventually divorced, with her father marrying one of her mother's former friends soon after. Now an adult and convinced that her mother was wrongly accused, Anzu gets a job as the housekeeper for her unwitting stepmother, to discover the truth in this fiery revenge J-drama.WATCH NOW'Chastity High' (2024)(Image credit: Netflix)When a prestigious high school for Japan's elite goes co-ed, it institutes an unusual rule: Anyone caught in a romantic relationship will be expelled. As some students begin hunting for couples in and out of school grounds, Ichica (Ai Mikami) becomes an anonymous Love Keeper, funding her tuition by helping violators in exchange for cash. When she partners with Ryogo (Ryubi Miyase), a governor's son who needs cash, "their partnership evolves into a romance that defies the school’s policies," per the show's description.WATCH NOW'First Love' (2022)(Image credit: Courtesy of Netflix)Make sure to grab the tissues before diving into this epic romance across 20 years. Inspired by Hikaru Utada‘s songs "First Love" and "Hatsukoi," the series centers on Yae Noguchi (Hikari Mitsushima) and Harumichi Namiki (Takeru Satoh), high school sweethearts who met in the '90s and went down different paths. According to the description, "two decades later, Yae is a single mom to a teenage son, while Harumichi is engaged to marry someone else. However, they soon discover that their love story is not quite over."WATCH NOW'Fishbowl Wives' (2022)(Image credit: Netflix)This soap-like melodrama chronicles the lives of housewives living in the same building, who become tempted into extramarital affairs. She moves into her own apartment, only to discover that the place has also been rented to Hisashi Uehara (Shunya Shiraishi), the most popular guy in school. Scammed with nowhere else to go, the pair become flatmates and keep their cohabitation a secret from their class.WATCH NOW'House of Ninjas' (2024– )(Image credit: Netflix)This action-packed comedy brings the world of ninjas, or shinobi, out of history into modern-day Japan. The Tawaras are the last shinobi family directly descended from samurai Hattori Hanzō, but after the eldest son dies, the family left the world of fighting behind. When a new threat emerges six years later, the dysfunctional household is called back to action, as they're still grieving the loss.WATCH NOW'The Makanai: Cooking for the Maiko House' (2023)(Image credit: Courtesy of Netflix)Another gorgeous drama from Hirokazu Kore-eda, this live-action manga adaptation is half-friendship drama and half-food porn. The show is set in the Saku House, an all-female lodging where the makanai, or cook, cares for apprentice maiko training to become geishas (or geiko, in Kyoto dialect). While the main characters are 16-year-old teenage besties Kiyo (Nana Mori) and Sumire (Natsuki Deguchi), who arrive in Kyoto from their small town of Aomori, the series follows all of the women in the house as they pursue their happiness in life.WATCH NOW'Midnight Diner' (2016–2019)(Image credit: Netflix)Another series where food is an essential part of the story, Midnight Dinner takes place in the titular late-night eatery, a fictional izakaya in Tokyo's Shinjuku district. The stoic chef, only known as "Master" (Kaoru Kobayashi) will cook his regulars anything they want, as long as they bring the ingredients. Each episode of the anthology series follows a new customer as they trade stories about their lives.WATCH NOW'Old Enough!' (1991– )(Image credit: Netflix)The Japanese title of this long-running docuseries, Hajimete no Otsukai, translates to "My First Errand." Each episode follows kids ages 2 to 6 as they set off alone (minus the camera crew) to navigate chores like picking up a few items from the grocery store or dropping off an item to their parents. It's impossible not to root for the adorable little ones as they safely complete their tasks and build confidence by going out in the world.WATCH NOW'Terrace House' (2012–2020)(Image credit: Netflix)In case you missed this smash-hit Japanese reality franchise during its heyday, each installment of Terrace House follows a group of Japanese 20-somethings who live together as they go about their day-to-day lives. As they hang out, share meals, and inevitably fall for each other, the series gives a chill yet engrossing look into the housemates' lives, as a panel of actors and comedians provide commentary on each scene.WATCH NOW'Tokyo Swindlers' (2024)(Image credit: Courtesy of Netflix)This stylish crime thriller from creator Hitoshi One is inspired by a real-life con, where a Japanese development company was scammed out of over 5 billion yen. Set in 2017, as land prices are rising in the lead-up to the Tokyo Olympics, the show follows a "notorious group of real estate crooks," led by Harrison Yamanaka (Etsushi Toyokawa), as they "defraud major developers out of large sums of money. Their next target is the biggest yet: a 10-billion-yen plot of land next to a Buddhist temple. Can they pull it off without getting caught?"WATCH NOW Source link
